Hope everyone has had a good day. I have polished off a few last local cards & some virtuous housework and that's my lot for today. Yes a better night for me last night thank you frog 👍️ shall try not to be too late tonight as well. Nothing to get up early for, the post etc, that will be very welcome. Have just posted another misaddressed bit of post, not to the same people, only from sky☁️ not a xmas card but it did say important information inside and we don't want any other cat not able to watch its favourite xmas progs do we because someone's sub has not been renewed 😄. I sent Sleek home earlier with her pressie in advance, if it is the wrong brand/size/flavour/colour/scent/squeaky noise then I have the receipt of course 😉. Yes it is rather one-upmanship buying the stamps, isn't it 😄 I should have added that they were past xmas issues off the nosegay, I do always do that as & when I see them anyway but I did just happen to see these few now. I stocked up on 2nd class last year which was over-optimistic, they will come in next year when I get started earlier 😇😉. Your old conservatory tree sounds nice 😊 and haven't you done the cafe up nicely for us, even a wreath, which was really going the extra mile. I love Elfie sitting there, so amusing 😄 and snap, Elfie, I have the exact same choc bar on the go at the moment 👍️. Love to Joan for Christmas, yes thank you it's all quiet here today, I have been for a walk up the road and looked at everyone's lights & decorations, those that do them. It was very misty out. Someone does a bigger display for charity a bit further away, will try & make the effort to see if they are doing it this year. Love to the dear dogs 🐾😘 have a good night.

I have had a very quiet time 😊 very nice mild weather too so went for a walk, listened to a robin singing beautifully and also the festive sounds of small children falling off their new scooters 😬 and spent some time in the garden, and not much else.

I told Sleek she was a naughty girl for slipping away on xmas day frog but as I was giving her a big hug and a kiss on the top of her furry little head at the time she knew I didn't mean it 😉 she was thrilled with her pressies from you too, and tomorrow we will tot up our jamjar pennies ready for the sales. It’s like watching limitless animals enter the ark
But it’s made BR a happy chappy
Strange to think that a few years ago he was wearing a nappy
LA is “tantrummimg” and eating chocolate by the factory, or so it seems
No doubt that he’ll have cocoa and marshmallow fuelled dreams
BB he’s telling mum how to mix gravy granules and water
He forgets she is actually his wife, not merely his daughter
Bill is consuming red meat ike it’s going out of fashion
LA is talking about the online maths game with a very peculiar passion
Mum is making the littleys happy with a box of posh chocciesWhile BR with such sweet enthusiasm is showing me his lovely building “blockies”
Bosh went for a walk in tropical Reading early in the morning
So From time to time this auntie - face is yawning
But it’s worth it to see the littleys they’re eating all the crisps - mountains that they can steal
And she is praying to the gastric oracles after a tasty, but very stodgy Christmas meal

Wow!!! You got your walk in before you left for MH you did well. Hopefully you and your Mum are both ok today especially your stomach. I tend to just eat less than everyone else it helps a bit.

The poem was brilliant - whoever gave you stationary knows you well😉Perfectly enabled you to be contemporaneously creative. Great poem as usual Reshmi. Bless those boys their characters show more and more. It is hard to believe how quickly they are growing up it was 5 minutes ago that BR was born and LA was a jealous little boy BR's age. Still you are all making the most of it having fun with them and making memories.

I can imagine a certain Auntie's face would be yawning. Too much food, too much noise and activity for such a quiet gentle person.

Everyone it seems is behaving to type with BIL over-eating and BB giving his opinion where it's not needed🙄

Sounded like a perfect Christmas day.

Your day sounded ideal, peaceful, and butty for lunch. Today I am cooking Kari will be over doing the works after a walk or bike ride or maybe both. We have a lovely M&S 'centrepiece' as they call 'em. Mostly though it is the veggies I love. Must make sure I do the vegan gravy granules properly or BB will be over to lecture me!!!!

Sleek is thrilled to bits with the contents of the jar and is keen to a) spend it ASAP at the sales and b) save even more next year. She will be over soon to show you some of her presents and start spending.

Loved the huge Elfie! Wow! I have a fairly large one on the windowsill but not in that league😮

My stomach seems to have survived. I’m not sure how mind you I must admit I had some of mums Indian minced beef today which is very delicious I lost control ha ha however it’s not just delicious of course but also iron - rich so I will use this energy boost for something constructive like having a shower and moving stuff in from one room to the other

I had a great time yesterday Toni, but I was so tired my goodness anyway that I know the littleys needed us. BR kept saying to his mummy “I hope mean mima I’d coming. I love mima” Oh dear bless him

LA was very tired he got up early in the excitement but hopefully he slept well overnight

He also told my mum that she would be punished for not providing a post - Christmas advent calendar oh dear how funny 😂

There’s a cinema event on Monday of next week too with littleys but thankfully in Reading

Just a quick hello I am trying to be super good and lie low after the extra xmas things, and not too much internet etc, so this is a boxing day iou of sorts. Still a nice quiet day such a difference in the weather though yesterday really was kind to us I think.

Glad all's well at frogs, lovely to see Kari for a nice Boxing Day visit, always a bit more relaxed 'the day after' isn't it, well assuming all gravy goes well etc 🤭. Of course Elfie doesn't want to go back in the basement, for one thing there have been known to be leaks 😱 and when the tv listings run out there are the magpie murders to finish, and the gardener's world specials to catch up with.. no hurry is there.. 😉. What about that fog then!!!! Couldn't see a thing! Paul went to the football and it took a full 2 minutes for the crowd to cheer when a goal was scored - true!!! Couldn't see the sheep either so no photo yet sorry I think they were a similar colour to the fog😉

Sleek is sticking to catsis until she feels 100% safe to go under her own steam. So expect a visit later after her arthritis jab this morning. I heard you both got some bargains yesterday with your jar of pennies, but not as much as you'd hoped for so are now saving for next year.

Elfie agrees it's scary down in that basement leaks and the like. He does get to go with the carrot family (Imraldi ones) and HUGE Elfie and the little Elfies too. They all tend to keep themselves to themselves unlike the original (OG) Elf. I suspect he'll find a way to stay upstairs. I remember one year he was upstairs for Paul's birthday because he sang him a song (helped by Lucy) and that's February.

Anyway atm he's trying to teach Sleek how to use her cat tree!

Oooh points!! Do point mean prizes??😂 Those were the days (them were t'days!) weren't they? Where are they I can't find them.

I must post a photo of baby Arya in her Christmas outfit! She had rather a lot of them but one was extra cute❤️

Hi all 👋 chilly isn't it, what a difference a degree or two makes.

Yes misty and damp in the air again, not quite as murky as it was frog 😮 you definitely wouldn't have been able to see a sheep in front of your face yesterday! Not very inspiring to do much is it, all I've really done is iron one curtain (could have done with Elfie for that!). Well done Elfie demonstrating how it's done to Sleek with the cat tree, make yourself indispensable, good plan 😄. Sleek made it over fine in the catsi and I was making vegan sausage & mash for lunch so I'm afraid I kept her 😳 we made the gravy together once I'd got the lid off! fraught with difficulty these gravy granules aren't they 😂. Then we had another little browse of the sales to cheer her up and I treated her to a little 'fun fur' coat she took a fancy too (not sure why a small cat wants a fun fur 🤔 ours not to reason why 😂) & we polished off the mini gingerbread men, so her day was not all bad. Poor mother having to take her so soon after xmas, no rest for the wicked 😌. Hope all's well today look forward to xmas baby pic 😊. Here is a snip of the points thing, is it like tags or something? your guess is as good as mine - anyway we have 5 whatever that means 😂. Have a good evening & weekend :) xx
