I hope you are doing ok not to MTX-y? and that your Mum has started her antibiotics and will soon be feeling much better. She is too independent for her own good she really ought to accept your help but I can't see it. That will be why she feel ratty ATM. Also she is married to Big Bear bless her🙄

I totally agree with the iced coffee recipe! Someone once said to me in a letter 'cold coffee reminds me of you'!!! I'd far rather have mine hot and of course decaffeinated😉

Very good pics all round yesterday LA would approve whole heartedly to the cheese eating advice/etiquette. None of your picky miniscule nibbling for that cheese monster!

Morning Toady It's still foggy here🙄

Sleek loves her new coat she really does it arrived pretty quickly and she won't take it off! I have had to open windows to cool her down so Paul myself and Elfie are freezing! She slept in it too. You'd think she'd be warm enough with her own 'real' fur coat on.

She didn't mind her jab nor having her nails cut. I am most glad her nails didn't need doing because I had to cut her off of the old cat scratcher as she'd got stuck. The tree you understand not her nail I am no expert trimming pusskin nails. She'll no doubt show you her pedicure and manicure later on.

She said the bangers and mash were spot on and 'filled the gap' nicely. Those gravy granules are tricky customers as Reshmi's Mum will attest.

Elfie is still busy trying to be allowed to stay out of the basement

Not much doing here today might get Paul to take me a drive or something I must be due a posh coffee by now surely?

Toady (()) they say there will be snow next week. I don’t think so we never have much.have a good day. It was very quiet here. Yes the houses decorated look nice.

Toni (()) i think it would be nice to have a baby there at Christmas to see there eyes sparkle.

Yes my hip is ok thank you I haven’t tried putting trousers on yet. I get up early but it take a while to get my pants on and my socks on Charlie comes at 8 to check I’m alright and to see the dogs. Have a good day.

Toady (()) have a good day is it still nice and quiet there today. A man goes to court today for killing two people on Christmas Day.

Toni I rescued my post it was still in the box I looked and the box was empty strange.
Did you have a good Christmas. It was quiet here. Pepper is 10 today.

I hope you manage to go for a drive. Our neighbours go to Weymouth to see the new year in they have 6 children and it’s to noisy there.

How are you all today?

I think mum is feeling slightly better but she’s still suffering a lot unfortunately

Also yesterday some people (female) came to the door and accused us of stealing the younger woman’s phone

Then the police came round and asked if they could search the house

Mum said no and that’s all that happened

But the younger woman was very verbally aggressive and they were accusing mum and dad to their faces just before her doctors appointment 😱

She said her app said one of us stole the phone

And there was so much tension all round yesterday

I didn’t even get to have a shower

So as I told Toni, I had my own phantom neighbour experience- well they live in the next street, but that was ridiculous and offensive too of course and they even got the police involved

I must admit it was a baked beans - based lunch today yummy

But at least I avoided the almost ubiquitous cheese sandwich 😂😂

yes hopefully hairdressers will be less like a police state haha

Mum is starting to feel better

Yes cheese cannot be eaten delicately, even when accompanied by cucumber in a sandwich apparently

LA was very fascinated by a piece of Red Leicester cheese on Christmas Day- he thought at first that it was a piece of marrot! Bless him, lol, yes it was very much a revelation to him that cheese could be orange 😂

I watched a bit of a kids’ film today, in which bored security guards were trying to memorise the nutritional information on a packet of biscuits, no less! I told them that they need toady’s permission for that

Hi all 👋 the cold has really got the better of me today 😕 just nasty. Can quite believe there is or will be snow around somewhere.

Why on earth didn't I buy myself a fun fur while I was at it frog 🙄😄 especially seeing how well Sleek suits hers 😍 sorry about having to have the windows open 😄 oh gosh it really has been beastly today. Have had my evening 'constitutional' but apart from that I threw the towel in very early today, just not my temps at all 😕. And yes this time of year is very much the doldrums, hope you did get a drive and a coffee maybe. Love the little mallow men they are enviably warm, you posted another similar the other day I actually had that as my xmas card one year 😊 as well as a sober religious sort for my sober religious people. Glad Sleek didn't mind her appt too much this time, yes her manicure is very swish indeed. 'Ballet slippers' polish, just like the Queen, very tasteful. Hope someone helped Elfie out and he got a jolly good joke out of his cracker 😄. Have a good Sunday may get a bit of sun one day but have to sit through some not nice rain & wind first and will be paying for the sunny days with even lower temps omg 😣. I am seed & plant browsing, what else can you do but think ahead to better days 🌞. xx

I had another walk it was cold this evening but we are forecast around 4 degrees and minus 3 at night next week 😮 oh gosh. Yes I saw about the man's arrest 😔 statistically there will always be something at Christmas I suppose but it always seems so awful doesn't it. Have a good night keep warm 😘 I had asparagus 'cup soup' today, I've never had it before & I really liked it, but they have sold out for now where I got it 🤷‍♀️ never mind xx

Hi bosh, what on earth is all that about with the phone 😮 I hope the silly people go and work out what really happened, they ought to apologize then but no doubt won't 😠. So sorry your mum had that nasty thing happen when she isn't well and had an appt 🙄. Hope she got on ok at drs and isn't feeling too bad 🤞. Haven't done much today except make tea, well I did turn out a kitchen cupboard and sort my recycling 🙄 ho hum. No cheese sandwiches today or beans must order some actually, I heard an interview once with Julia Sawalha she and her friend used to call baked beans 'the beloveds', I just found a clip Julia Sawalha's Best Friend - A Taste of My Life - BBC 👍️.
