Hello Everyone I am so sorry I am late in

Poor you Elizabeth, I really do think it's time you had some respite from this you have been feeling rough for ages :(

My eldest was late at everything you know because she was born so early - I used to sit her up and 'hold her there' by her dress

BUT she is fine now :D

I promise to get in earlier tomorrow

Will nip to the wharehouse on Val's behalf in the morning so please do me a list and if it helps I will pick up your shopping to Barbara

    LOve

BARBARA, BARBARA, (me shouting ) are you still there. Just dropped in for a cuppa. Not much sleep last night, just for a change. Hope sleep was better for everyone else.

Morning all. I'm just waiting for the meds to kick back in but it might take weeks.

Good thing is I've lost half a stone probably because I cannot drink so much tea as I'm stuck upstairs most of the day,

Hope everyone is having a lovely day,

    Elizabeth x

    Afternoon Everyone :)

Elizabeth, I hope you feel better soon. Feeling so poorly for a length of time is in it's self so debilitating and I feel for you.

Well, I managed to sleep the night through - first time for goodness knows how long. However, I had such a weird dream. Dreamt the newly elected Pope was in our garden meditating and we weren't allowed out until he had finished :). No.... I hadn't been drinking :lol::lol:

    See you all later.

Oh Toni, marshmallows on our hot chocolate. Yummyyyy.
Hope you feel better soon Elizabeth. No fun being stuck upstairs feeling unwell.
Hope your pain subsides soon Karen.
Catie, glad you got a good night's sleep. Well apart from your strange dream.
I started Amitriptylene just over a week ago. I've started sleeping 9 1/2 hours a night and still have to drag myself out of bed in the morning for work. Hope it doesn't cause me any strange dreams.
Barbara, that sounds like fun watching your GD rolling around the floor showing off.

    Morning Everyone :)

It's raining here as well Barbara, but at least the snow has gone. You sound as if you will be busy with your grand children :).

No, I don't take Amitriptylene....so what my strange dreams are down to, goodness knows :) Last night I dreamt that the Ofsted Inspectors were coming round to inspect my family. Fortunately I woke up before they arrived :? :)

We must have the laziest cat in the country. He's called Henry and can always be found in bed sleeping. He only stirs when it's feeding time :). He's a British Blue, who came to us when our neighbours moved and left him behind - poor liitle fella. He's thoroughly spoilt :)

If you look in Elizabeth, I hope you're feeling a little better today. Also hope everyone else is well as possible :)

Barbara, sounds like a very busy time for you. Hope your GD is better in the morning. Hmmm, my GP told me to take the Amis an hour before bed but I'm finding it still takes me a while to get to sleep and I can't get out of bed in the morning. I think I will try taking them a bit earlier. I'm only taking paracetamol when I need it so don't think that will interfere.

Glad yoou enjoyed your kippers Mig. I love them while I'm eating them but don't like the smell left lingering in the house so don't have them very often.

Catie, glad you woke up before Ofsted arrived.

Toni, 11 teenagers? What, all at once?

Oh Toni I loved the sleepovers when my girls were teens but did once get a neighbour banging on my door at 6 in the morning because they were all out in the garden making a lot of noise! At least she got her revenge by dragging me out of bed at 6 am. Of course I apologised and felt very shame faced

I'm finally downstairs as my back (amongst other things) is so bad and I need to sit up.

We were given some venison recently but I didn't try it.

    Hope everyone is coping well.

    Elizabeth :D

    Morning Everyone :)

Toni, you've been busy again and thanks for making the cafe spick and span. A nice hot chocolate would be lovely :).
Gosh 11 teenagers  ....but as you say, better that they are safe with you, than out on the streets.

    Applerose.... Yes, thank goodness :)

Barbara, so sorry to hear about your poor gd and hope she's feeling a little better today - poor little soul. Also hope you aren't feeling too tired. There are so many bugs about at the moment and when they strike are so debilitating.

A dreary day here.....rain and wind......

Elizabeth...hope you get some relief soon.

    See you all soon :)
