I managed to spend 20 minutes tidying up some of the dead stuff in my front garden. Loads more still to do but there's all summer to do it, hopefully.

Coco, hope your bath eased your aches and pains.

Catie, hope your husband and daughter recover quickly and that you don't catch it.

Barbara, I always say that jobs will always be there for another day so it doesn't worry me too much if they don't get done straight away. I was going to say good luck with the diet but you had lemon drizzle cake. Well, there's always tomorrow for that too.

Elizabeth, don't be worrying about what other people think of your garden. I don't although I know there are a bunch of nosy parkers and gossips round here. How my garden looks is my business, not theirs. lol

Toni, hope your mil was ok when your husband visited. Would one of those helping dogs do the gardening for me? lol

Oh, Karen, have you recovered from the shock of falling? Hope the physio is helping and doesn't leave you in any pain.

Quick hot chocolate and a piece of that drizzle cake would be nice by the fire. I'll stick another log on.

    KAREN
You may only require 3 sessions of physio because your problem isn't deemed that much of a problem. I've recently received 8 sessions of NHS treatment.

Hi Everyone and welcome to the cafe MrOptimist :)

Karen, hope you are ok after your fall. I'm wondering if your physiotherapist might be able to request more treatment for you. I'm still having 2 sessions each week and that's because of a trapped nerve.

I had to have the doc out to hubby and he's now sent various swabs off for testing. We shall have to see. Daughter seems fine today - thank goodness.

Christine, so pleased to hear all is well with your family :)

    Hope everyone is goodish.

Barbara, I'll have that cuppa with you :)

Your physio obviously feels you have a problem which requires intensive treatment. I'm afraid so many people feel that they have a problem, but in the medical sense it isn't at all.

    Barbara
Thanks for the offer of a cuppa. Unfortunately I'm at work at the moment :|

Just popping in for some brekkie. Just been chatting to my Sis on facebook which is always lovely as I live away from my family.

Karen were you stuck after your fall when Tony came to collect you? I hope not.

Hope the workmen got all the problems sorted for you Coco. You wouldn't expect new houses to need much doing, would you? I like your idea of taking your personal packers and carriers. lol
I use facebook to keep in contact with family and friends but it does spoil it with a lot of the posts that come through.
Barbara, glad you had a good catch-up with your niece and got the world put to rights.
Glad you MIL is better and coming home Toni.
I've only had one cuddle with Ruby. We were advised that it is best if only mum and dad and brother and sister have regular cuddles at the moment. I was supposed to go tomorrow but my throat feels very dry and my glands were a little swollen yesterday. It could be hayfever or arthur playing up but might be a cold starting and I wouldn't want to pass that to her so I think I'll have to give it a miss.
Some of that toast with chunky marmalade sounds good with a nice cup of tea then I really must go to sleep.
Hope everyone is feeling better than yesterday.

Morning everyone, hope you are all okish this morn. I shall put the kettle and have a cuppa by the window. Do you know, I think there is less movement in my neck now than there was on Monday. And one side has now gone quite numb. Oh the joys of Arthur. I do really fancy some toast with strawberry jam on, yummy. Hopefully see you all later on.

It has been chucking it down all night and still coming down. So, unless it stops, I wont be going out.

    Hi Everyone,

Pouring with rain, but mustn't moan as the soil was looking parched. I was going to get our runner beans started in pots today, but decided to take it easy instead :).

We had a phone call from the doc yesterday and hubby has food poisoning. He's better than he was, but still poorly. It wasn't my cooking either as we had eaten out the previous day :).

Barbara, I agree, shoulders can be really painful. I hope yours settles and you manage to get a better sleep tonight.

Toni, that is good news about your MIL.

Karen, I found the physio made me worse initially, so perhaps you will see the benefits with your next sessions - hope so :)

    See you all later :)
