    evening all
    Coco must say I do love a good clean out...but how on earth does it all get back that's what I want to know... :o
    I will have an hot choc and sit by the fire..its gone very cold here...
    Hope everyone is having a goodish evening..no news on appleroses GC yet...hope all is well ..see you in the morning xxxx

    Just popped in quickly to let you know that Ruby was born at 5.55 this morning after an emergency section. She is 3lbs 8 ozs but is breathing on her own. Mum should be home tomorrow but Ruby will be staying for about 3 weeks. Thank you all for your thoughts.
    Hope everyone feels better tomorrow than they have been today.

    congratulations on your grand daughter applerose, bless she is a little one, she will will be well looked after and its great she is breathing on her own, hope mum is ok.

    Congratulations Applerose and so pleased everything turned out well in the end.

    I have sent my reluctant Son off for a few hours at a Youth Club place. We will see how it goes but I thought I'd give it a try.

    I'm glad the scan is all done Karen. Now just got to wait for the results.

    I'm pleased to say that I feel better so I have a few spare spoons for those who need it and a sleeping potion for Coco.

    We've just had a snow shower :o - thankfully it hasn't settled :)

    Elizabeth, so pleased you're feeling a little better :). I hope your son settles at the youth club - if not - at least you've tried. Would be lovely if he returns wanting to go again :).

    Karen, glad your daughter's scan is done. Hopefully you won't have too long for the results.

    Afternoon all, it's been snowing here nearly all day. But, not settling thank goodness. Applerose, Congratulations on your new Grandaughter.

    I had a really bad night last night. And am paying for it now. We went and did the weekly shop and as soon as we got home I had to lay down. My youngest came to help me as Tony is not good at all at the mo.

    Elizabeth, I am glad that you are feeling a bit better.

    I am going to have a hot choc and sit by the window if anyone would like to join me.

    Catie and Karen..snow blimey....its cold here but the sun is shinning and that is up North... :o we have just been out to Wheatherspo** pub again...its cheaper than cooking...and the food is good...
    2 GC here at the min and the little one has just gone home....she shuffles along on her bum now... :D
    Karen I hope the rest helped...its awful when both of you are not well..its a good job you have the youngest to help...wish my GDs would... :roll:
    applerose I hope that Ruby and mum are doing ok ..bet you cant wait for a cuddle...

    Good Morning all, although it is very cold out the sun is still shining :D

    kettle is on for you all, im going to grab a coffee and chill out by the window, im still in my pj's and will get round to getting dressed just having a lazy hour.

    so much needs doing today but i think most of it wont get done so today will be a fail :oops: oh well there is always tomorrow.

    today we have 2 GC here...Coco you say you are in your PJs..my middle GD has had this onesie on for 3 days...yes day and night.... :o

    Hi All.

    Sorry you and Tony are struggling Karen and you didn't sleep well.
    My daughter loves her onesie Barbara. Its a tiger one and she looks really cute. Don't think I'd wear one myself though.

    My Son came home and said he hated the club. Oh well at least I tried.We shall have to remain cooped up what with the cold weather and hope the next holidays are warmer so we can go out as a family, health permitting.

    I'll have that cuppa Coco.

    Lots of sunshine here, but that wind cuts right through one. I just popped into the city to return a pair of trousers that I'd bought online from Marks&Sparks. They were too tight ....blimey :lol:. The lady said try another pair in the same size and they 'might' fit. They did as well. How bad is that.... alll trousers of the same size should be the same, or maybe I'm losing the plot :lol:

    Barbara, had to smile about your gdaughter and her onesie :)

    Elizabeth, what a shame your son didn't enjoy the club. Perhaps with time things might change a little - I hope so :)

    Hope everyone is having a goodish day. I'm now feeling the physio is really helping. Felt like a 'torture chamber' to begin with :)

    Coco, if you cant do it, don't do it. It will all be there again tomorrow.

    Barbara, my girls keep on at me about onesies. They tend to not get dressed either if they know we're not going out. Elizabeth, I would scare everyone if I wore a onsie. Not a pretty sight.

    Catie, I start phsyio on Monday for my neck. Would you believe in a sports centre. Glad it starting to work for you. It's been snowing again down this way, so no-one has been out, to cold.

    Catie...the same size fit...what on earth is going on with these clothes... :roll: I am glad to hear the physio is working...
    Karen some of our physio is done at the sports center....and you can be refered to the gym by your gp....how is Tony doing .
    I hope that appleroses GD Ruby is doing ok and her dil....
    You would laugh I have been sat on my stool outside power washing the paving stones...and I have done a good job.....but get ready for payback :roll:
    I will have a nice cold diet coke please ...and a sit by the window :D

    Thank you so much everyone. Mum is home and feeling good. Ruby is ready to move from intensive care to the halfway room for maybe a couple of weeks before going in to the nearly-going-home room. Mum, dad and big brother ans sister have all had a cuddle but no-one else is allowed yet.
    Elizabeth, what a shame your son didn't enjoy the youth club. I'm sure you'll find something he likes. Glad you are feeling better.
    Karen, hope you and Tony are feeling a bit better today.
    Coco, I'm sure things will keep till later if you don't feel up to doing them.
    Catie, how strange the sizes were the same but they were actually different sizes. Glad the physio is starting to work for you.
    Barbara, I had to giggle thinking of one of your gd in her onsie and the other shuffling on her bum. :lol: Well done getting the paving stones cleaned. Hope you don't get any payback.

    Applerose I am so pleased to hear Ruby is doing well..and dil....I know how tiny Ruby will seem ..my niece has a little boy..well he is 12 this year..and he was just under 3lb...I remember it well when we went to see him through a window...and then through the incubator..you must be aching for that cuddle.. :D
    Mig I am hoping to get a bet on today...when we were kids my dad always put us a sixpenny bet on.... :D not sure who I will pick yet..
    Yes I did have payback doing the patio....but I feel really proud...
    The sun is shinning...so hopefully today we will get out...after we have dropped 2 GDs wherever they are going...mind you one is grounded by her daddy.... :o the least said....
    Anyone want a cuppa...xxx

    Karen, I do hope the physio helps you. In the past it hasn't helped me that much to be honest, but the physio I'm now seeing has a different approach and it's really helped. I shall be thinking of you on Monday :)

    Barbara, hope you don't suffer too much today - but well done for getting the paving stones cleaned :).

    It's lovely down here at the mo, we actually have sunshine. Elizabeth, I hope your rotten tiredness goes away soon. It's horrible when trying to do things when you are tired.

    Well we took the middle GDS to meet her friends and ended up going to sit in the park such a lovely day.....dont we appreciate it when it comes :D:D
    Catie how are you doing...I am always having payback I will never learn...
    Elizabeth you are suffering with that tiredness wish there was something they could give you to help..maybe you need a good tonic

    Hello Everyone!!

    I am so sorry I have been AWOL but have had the week from hell. MIL who is diabetic and started peritoneal dialysis just before Chrsitmas, was admitted to hospital in pain.

    Turned out she had a twisted bowel and she has had surgery and been proper poorly :( Bless her it also mucked up her dialysis and so she had to have haemodialysis instead. They lost all her stuff and she hasn't even got her teeth in!!!

    Anyway I shall shut up now - she is finally on the mend and I am back to see you all.

    I promise to catch up on all the news soon.
