Afternoon all.
Right bit stressed trying to plan a new decking patio and remodel kitchen. OH and I never sing from the same hymn sheet sadly. Sometimes I think lets just leave it all as it is
Healing, soothing cuppa please before the head explodes.

Barbara, we do know where hubby picked up the problem and our doc has notified the Public Health Dept I believe. Gosh, you did lose a lot of weight and I can quite see how, judging the way hubby has been. He also ate chicken  Glad you've found a dentist
Mr Optimist, as Barbara says, proving anything would probably be very difficult.
However, the problem will be investigated, so who knows what might happen. We are just very glad that during the time (and it could be a while) he's off, he will be paid.
It's been a lovely evening...lots of sun...and really felt like spring. Certainly lifts the spirits after the long cold winter we've had.
Hope everyone manages to sleep tonight0 -
Aww Catie I do feel for your hubby...and you who will have to do all the running around...I hope they can connect it with wherever he had something to eat....then hopefully it wont happen to anyone else...if anyone else has reported it that will go in your favour..
I hope everyone is having a goodish evening...and like you Catie its very mild here...
will see you all tomorrow...sleep well xxLove

Karen, I think physio will often make you feel worse before you feel better. Hope it's not long though.
Barbara, it's not good having a painful shoulder. Makes all sorts of things difficult. Hope that clears up quickly.
Catie, you sound a bit like me at the moment. I've got seeds, plugs and plants to put in but there's always tomorrow or the next day. Glad your husband is feeling a bit better.
Elizabeth, I'm glad I'm on my own. It is difficult when you and your partner don't agree on these things.
Well Ruby is now in a normal cot and taking bottles. My daughter is possibly coming over from Dublin to see her. It'll be brilliant to see my other 2 baby grandkids.Christine0 -
Morning all the sun is shinning...and its has some warmth in it....
Shoulder still painful...

Sorry to hear you have been refused Karen. Does that mean that Atos think you are fit for work, or have I got hold of the wrong end of the stick?
Barbara, hubby is still struggling on and the weight is falling off him - thanks for asking .0 -
Evening all
Catie, I really hope that hubby feels better soon. Food poisoning is nasty. Sending him some hugs of comfort.
Elizabeth, my problem is that the arthritis came second. I have always suffered with depression/severe anxiety which is why I was not fit for work first and now being the arthritis as well. I am rather confused over this form they have sent me. There is no mention of points or anything, but that I will have to attend a group in getting back to work.
Mroptimist, because I have been fit for work by Atos, had my medical about 2 weeks ago now.
Barbara, I do hope your shoulder is starting to improve a bit for you. I know how painful it can be especially when laying down at night time. Are you going to make an appointment with your gp.Karen xx0 -
Hello Everyone
I'm not surprised you are in a state of shock Karen  even though with these medicals it seems to be the norm
Hi Barbara - hope you are enjoying those Grandkids and that your sore shoulder eases soon for you.
Hi Catie your poor husband....I hope he is keeping fluids down at least???
Applerose how is the lickle bubba doing Ruby? I hope your throat has allowed you to visit and even better that your other daughter has come over.
Elizabeth l haven't asked how you are doing lately? Any better at all? and how (dare I ask) is the decking going?
MrO I hope you are well today.
I am hardening off my broad beans and the runner beans are poking their noses out too. No sign of my tomato or cucumber plants though  No idea why - probably just too impatient Oh I have planted them
Anyone seen Coco lately? Hopefully she is ok just having a good weekend.
Love

Toni I think all the garden are behind this year...saying that mine didnt get started... :?
Catie..I lived off ginger tea...a tip from my lovely Indian neigbour..very good for sickness..
Karen like they say its seems to be the norm ..to be failed by Atos....appeal and appeal...we are behind you
Elizabeth I hope the tiredness has lifted for you
And Coco hope you are resting...
I have an ice pack on my shoulder and will see my GP om Monday..I hate going ..just hope they can give me a steroid injection we go away in 3weeks
I will make some hot chocolate and leave it in the flask....Love
Barbara0 -
Barbara, hope you had a good day with your 2 gs. Your shoulder is still painful? Was going to say have you tried heat and cold on it? It might help but I see you have a cold pack on. Did you find out what your GD wanted? They all think it's ok to go out in their onsies, don't they?
Catie, did you sow your beans? I really must get something done in the garden tomorrow. Hope your husband starts picking up very soon.
Aw Karen, can you appeal? Hope you can.
Toni, on Gardener's World, he was saying that a lot of things are very behind this year because of the weather so there's still time yet.
Haven't seen little Ruby since last Sunday. Am planning on going tomorrow if I still feel ok. Had a panic on. One of my sister's said she wasn't coming to dad's (we all meet up there on Saturdays) because she thought she had chicken pox. My other sister disappeared for a while then came back and said she'd been to see my sick sister despite the fact I had said I didn't want to risk getting it. Then my sick sister said she was going to see her GP as he thought it could be measles. Turns out it was just an allergic reaction. Still very annoyed with my sister for going and then coming in contact with me. And my daughter might not come now as she thinks she and her daughter have a nose infection.
And I forgot to take my Anitrip so looks like no sleep tonight. So I'll sit by the fire with a cup of tea and fill up on pancakes.Christine0 -
Morning all, hope you are all as good as can be.Got some rhubarb growing nicely, love it dipped in sugar ,we have a pair of chaffinches nesting somewhere in the garden, they flit about so much can't seem to keep up with them but its nice watching them.Pork chops for lunch followed by plum crumble and custard plenty for all.Mig0

Morning all
Christine what a palaver..with your sisters..it is scary when there is a young baby involved...we have had chicken pox going round...I do hope you get to see Ruby today..bless I can imagine hoe you are aching to see her...and yes the ice did help my shoulder..I took one to bed in a freezer bag... what you have to do..
Mig I am on my way to your today...you have made me so hungry....I have a couple of bird boxes up one of them is taken I think...either that or they are still checking it out... :?
It is very windy and dull here this morning....what a difference from the last few days ..I do love getting up to the sun....we still have two GGs here one has just got up...
I hope everyone has a goodish day..not a clue what we are doing...
Kettle is on and the grill is warming....has anyone seen the cafe kitten around..Love
Barbara0 -
Morning all, sorry not been in for a couple of days been a bit down . it is cold and wet here so everything is aching again,
i hope everyone is ok, Karen i hope you are going to appeal, i did and took it as far as tribunal and won, just had forms through again so looks like i will be at it again with them but i wont back down, if you need any help give me a shout,
kettle is on for anyone who wants to join me, im gona sit by the fire as i cant get warm today xxxxx0 -
Popping in for a cuppa. Thanks for putting the kettle on Coco.
Dull and windy here too. Woke up coughing during the night so still can't visit Ruby. Hoped to get in the garden but I might get blown away.
When I did the bird survey a little while back, there were 1 each of 4 different birds. I've now got about 20 starlings, 3 blackbirds (I think mum, dad and a son from last year so there's a bit of argy bargy there), 2 pigeons, a pair of sparrows, a robin and a little Jenny wren. Haven't seen any wrens for a few years. There was one in one of the little roads in our little town yesterday too. Hope the cafe kitten isn't chasing them.
Think I'll pop back later for some of Mig's crumble and custard. Sounds yummy.Christine0 -
Morning all
Barbara, I am sorry but we have the sunshine now. And, it does make a change. I hope your shoulder is feeling a little better today.
Mig, I love pork chops. and rhubarb. I am hoping there will be some left over.
Catie, I hope your hubby improves day by day.
Applerose, I hope you get the chance to see your little one. And families.....what do we do with them eh. Fancy seeing you when she had seen your other sis, thinking it was chicken pox.
Coco, you know where I am if you ever need to off load. Hope your gp was good to you.
Well, I don't think we are doing anything today. So housework. The youngest goes back to school tomorrow, eldest on Tuesday. These last two weeks have gone so so quickly. Back to setting alarm for 5am.
Hope you all have a good Sunday, shall see you all later.Karen xx0 -
Sorry Applerose that you are not feeling well enough to see your little one.
You do remind me of my mum, she loved checking out all the birds that came into her garden. We are so much in town, we don't see that much really, and there are plenty of cats around here as well.Karen xx0 -
You can appeal Karen. Its difficult when you have multiple health problems but usually you need to make them aware of all your difficulties. They are very flippant with anxiety and depression aren't they yet it can be so debilitating.
And Coco thats not like you to feel down. I hope you are feeling a bit better now.
Toni we have agreed the decking needs doing and the funds are in place but the final layout has not been decided. This will be where the disagreements arise.
Hope everyone else is coping and no chicken pox and measles. That is a big worry.
