    Good Afternoon Everyone :)

    Sounds like everyone has enjoyed a lovely Easter. My sister and brother-in-law came yesterday and left a short while ago. It was lovely catching-up as we don't see as much of each other as we would like. Their daughter got engaged at xmas and we were hearing about plans for their wedding in 2014. Crikey the cost these days.... I'm still in shock :lol:

    I will have to go and buy a new bikini....must be all that choccy...wish it was calorie Free :). There's a very cold wind blowing here today and the warmth of the carribean would be very welcome :).

    Coco you have been busy. I managed to wash my bathroom floor on Friday and have been out to Aldi to buy some plants and just now potted up some rhubarb I bought about three weeks ago. Hope you don't suffer too much now.
    Glad you had a good day on Saturday Mig. And you too Catie, catching up with your sister and bil. My brother is getting married in July and my niece in June 2014. I was shocked when they told me how much they were spending.
    Just had a very late lunch of sardines (they are good for me aren't they?) on toast so popped in here for a cuppa and, hopefully, a sticky bun or cream cake to take the taste away. Feel sick now. :(

    Wow lovely cake Toni and glad you got an energy boost when it was needed.

    Karen the shops sold out of eggs very quickly this year because they under ordered as usually they get left with tons of unsold eggs. I actually got an egg this year, a white choc egg but of course the children spotted it and wanted most of it! The cream eggs were for the children but as there are so many I've helped myself to a few.

    OH had his April Fools birthday so we had visitors too.I staggered around on my crutches and not one person asked how I was! :( Lucy and I made a cake which was a nice bonding considering I've been so unwell. It s not as pretty as your cake Toni but tasted great!

    Son was booked on a trip to Thorpe Park today but refused to go. He's getting very isolated lately due to his sensory issues and I do worry about him. Home is his safe haven.

    Coco what on earth are you doing in the attic? How did you manage that? Glad you like your steam cleaner though.

    Hope you are better now Barbara and can manage some food.

    Morning all, hope you are all having a good easter. Elizabeth, I can understand how you worry about your boy. I am much the same with my youngest. And even with the eldest at the mo, who still isolates herself from everyone. Hope you can have a good day.

    Barbara, hope you are reasonably ok. And that your tum settles soon. That's the trouble with so many different medications, they suddenly turn on you don't they.

    I woke this morning with my neck killing me, so took some tabs and went back to bed.

    I shall have a couple of hot cross buns and a cuppa and shall sit by the window.

    I sat on a stool as much as I could Barbara otherwise I could not manage.

    Karen it is a worry. My Son used to love going to Thorpe Park so I booked it as a treat (it was reduced cost through his autistic support) but he says it is too noisy. Trouble is the world is noisy......

    Have the meds worked with the neck Karen?

    I'm really frozen so I must go find some extra jumpers!

    Someone stoke the fire!

    Lovely cake Toni - bet the girls were delighted :)

    Barbara, hope you feel better soon. Has your hubby tried Lid# choc - that's really nice too - also cheap :)

    I sympathise with having a neck problem Karen. I'm going to have a fusion at some point...not looking forward to that...but the pain can be agonising :(

    Applerose....2014 looks like it's going to be a popular year for weddings. I wonder if many couples are avoiding 2013 :)

    Barbara, hope your tummy settles soon. I'm sure your jobs will wait if you don't feel up to them.
    Our shops' shelves were nearly empty of eggs by good Friday. Glad I bought the kids theirs before that. I got an egg too from my boss's mum. She always insists I have one.
    Glad you enjoyed your cake Elizabeth and hope your son can start going out again soon. Hope you have warmed up.
    Hope your neck has improved Karen. It's awful having pain in your neck.
    Well my dil is in hospital. I've posted elsewhere but, in short, she is 31 weeks pregnant and has started bleeding. It's possible she has gone in to labour or that they might have to deliver her quickly by c-section. Took my sleeping pill a couple of hours ago but doubt I'll sleep tonight.
    Think I'll try my usual hot chocolate by the fire and then head for bed.

    Morning all, Catie, I do hope you managed some sleep, but as you said it probably not. I imagine you are worried about your dil.

    Nice to see you Coco, I can just imagine the trouble you had trying to get back down. I cant really say anything as I do still try these things. Hope your back and hip are a little easier for you today.

    Hope you have a good day everyone, and if you, Catie can keep us informed of your dil.

    Put the kettle on so shall sit in my usual place and watch the world go by.

    Hi Barbara I'm out of the hip operation loop because I failed to attend 2 appointments but nobody ever answers the telephone if you need to change the appointment. In fact I cancelled another appointment at the same time and that all went through fine but when they put me through to the hip place they never answered as usual :roll: Maybe its a cost cutting measure.
    Anyway I'll mention it when I see rheummy nurse.

    Applerose I do hope everything is okay with DIL and baby is safe.

    Well done Coco's daughter with the theory test.
    Honestly Coco what do we do with you? Going in the attic is a no no.

    Catie I hope you are resting up. Karen too!

    Late late night with my Son luckily I got a nap in the day.

    Hello Everyone,

    Well the mystery of the choc egg and rabbit has been solved. The lad that sent them is the twin brother of daughter's best friend :). I think they were sent as a joke..... expensive one at that :lol:. His sister told daughter yesterday eve when they met up. James has enjoyed playing jokes since he was knee high to a grasshopper and doubt he will ever change :). Just glad it wasn't some stalker :o:lol::lol:

    Elizabeth, your hospital sounds just like ours - what a nightmare.

    Cocoa....Well done to your daughter... Bet you were all over the moon.

    Applerose... keeping both you and your family in my thoughts and hope you have good news soon.

    Barbara and Karen....hope you are both a little better today.

    ~~~ to Mig and Toni :)
    Bye for now :)
    oohhh, Barbara, I'll have some apple crumble with custard please. It's a lovely warming afters.
    I have just got back from taking H to her ct scan. Wasn't sure she would make it, she had a really bad head. The man that did the scan said he could see she had one. Now 7 to 10 days and we might find out whats going on. But now I am worn out and my neck and hips are hurting. I nearly fell off the bus going home, I stepped up and my knees gave way. Oh, what fun we do have.
    Applerose, I am thinking of your dil and course all of you at the mo. Hoping things are going ok for her.
    Coco, I forgot to say, congratulations to your daughter, good on her.
    Catie, I can imagine how relieved you are now knowing who was sending the pressies to your daughter.
    Hot choc called for I think. It is so so cold down here.
