I'm settled now Applerose, I now live with someone else who already had a home and have had 3 more children (but no cats). I'm often on here moaning about him but he has been fabulous these past few months and has started to look after me and do more around the house.

I'm off to have a much needed hair cut now to make myself look a bit more acceptable :D

    Hoping you are okay Coco.

    will pop in again later,
    Elizabeth x

Thank you Toni. Life is so much nicer with support. Maybe seeing me so ill lately frightened him?

Side layers are a bit short but in a week or two it will look exactly right. Going back for colour next week.

Right popped in for a cuppa as a whole afternoon of gymnastics live on BBC2 is coming up,

    Evening all

This is the first time today I have been able to get on here. My lappy just wouldn't let me for some reason. Coco, try and slow down and rest up as much as you can. I know that is easier said than done. But sometimes we do have to give in a bit.

Hope everyone else is okish. Elizabeth, glad to hear you are getting more support now. That must be so much better for you. But on saying that, I hope you are feeling a bit better.

Have a good evening everyone. It's the weekend again, thank goodness. Lay in tomorrow.

I am going to have a hot choccy and a biccy, if anyone would care to join me.

Hope you feel a bit better in the morning Coco.

I was in a lot of pain walking home from work yesterday and it wasn't much better today. Got some cocodamol from the pharmacist. Wow, hardly any pain an hour after taking one but been told not to take them for more than 3 days. Managed to do a little weeding in the garden but thought I'd better not do too much.

Barbara, did you get to visit your neighbour? How is she doing?

Glad you are settled Elizabeth and that your OH is helping more. Maybe he has realised you need it.

    Hope everyone sleeps well tonight.

It is sunny here in Middlesex too. I've been to the library and got some more books, Anne Boleyn and Queen Anne so will try sitting in the garden to do some reading but first must quickly do some online shopping. Lardy son is out for a walk with the OH so hopefully it will do him some good.

Catie glad you like the gymnastics. It was my sport before R.A came and took all the fun out of life.

Has Ruby met her milestone weight yet Applerose?

    Afternoon all

It would appear we all have the lovely weather at the mo. Hope it stays.

Elizabeth, good to see you and so good to see you going out and getting books. When you have been trapped in doors for so long. It must be lovely for you.

Applerose, hoping you are feeling a bit better to day. Rest up well over the weekend if you can.

Hope you all have a good day, nice and easy and restful.

    Thanks Karen,

I have been trapped for a very long time but was too ill and tired for it to bother me. I need the books to read when I am monitoring my Son who never seems to be able to switch off.

I'm wondering what to have for dinner. My appetite has returned.

    Elizabeth :D

Oh I can tell you are so much better Elizabeth - your appetite is back. Well-done OH taking your son for a walk :)

WE got out for a bit Barbara.....I have planted out the broad beans but have their cardigans ready (fleece) if it is icy. I will be over to yours in a flash................

    e020.gif

Great news about your neighbour - my MIL was like that when she was in - a bit of a character :D

Hi Karen - glad you have had a nice day too - about time in my opinion :)

Thank you everyone. I do feel much better today. Been to Dad's for the afternoon, sitting talking and drinking tea. I'll be keeping the cocos at the ready for next time. Can't believe how good they are.

Mig, I'm glad there are no lawnmowers to listen to at the moment. I think there should be a certain time on a certain day when lawnmowers are allowed. It seems when I'm sitting in the garden in the summer, it's non stop one after the other.

Barbara, your neighbour sounds like a lovely lady. Bet she'll be glad to get home.

Elizabeth, enjoy your reading. I've got 3 books here but it has taken me about a month to read a quarter of the first one. I used to always have a book in my hand but can't get back in to it.

We're all going to see Ruby tomorrow - my son and his wife, the kids, Grandma and Grumpy and me. So we'll find out how much closer she is to coming home. I think she needs to be 4lbs and she was 3lbs 12ozs on Wednesday.

Have a good day tomorrow everyone.

    Christine

I think you can't get back into reading because of Ruby!! I loose the ability to read at different times when something important in happening :) She is going great guns I should think she'll be home for the weekend now :)

I never mow before 10!!! My neighbours (and I love them they are lovely people) mow as soon as their (young ::) ) kids wake them.....about 8. My poor husband is often at work from 3 or 4 am and he needs a lie-in!!

I am so glad the co-cos helped you with your pain - they make me icky sicky!

The sun is shining here again, but my husband says I am to make the most of it :(

Right I shall get some pancakes on - after all it IS Sunday
