Barbara, what are we like eh.... He has told me I should be taking it easy. And wants me to go back to the dr.s as My left side of the top of my back is quite numb, can hardly feel anything. But, I've had enough for a while of dr's. I hope you have this lovely sunshine where you are. Top up your tan for when your away.

And hope everyone is having a sunny day too.

On the contrary - taking it easy - is not the answer. It's important to 'keep moving' - we aren't designed to sit around all day doing very little :).

~sorry been sleeping for England. And missing the sunshine

Barbara great news. You'll have to do Eeny Meeny on the choice of hip if they are both bad.

Good luck tomorrow with college Karen and hope it goes well. Yep fed up with Docs too and have a backlog of things I should be keeping an eye on and not had blood taken since Nov.

I see Coco has been busy in the cafe as usual.

Have a lovely trip away Applerose and great news about Ruby.

We did well in the gymnastics didn't we Catie? I mssed the live beam so will have to go and look it up on you tube.
Take care those I've not mentioned,

    Hi Everyone :)

Well it's been wall to wall sunshine here, such a tonic after the hard winter we had. Hope you've all been able to enjoy it too :)

Toni, hubby is so much better thank you. His GP signed him off work for a month and that cheered him up no end :D . He's lost over a stone in weight though and has to be really careful with what he eats.

Christine, so pleased little Ruby will be home so soon. Enjoy your break :)

Elizabeth, the girls did well didn't they. I think Beth Tweddle has done so much for the sport and her success has encouraged a lot of new talent. I didn't really see much of the mens team unfortunately.

Barbara and Karen - hope you have both been resting up today.
Barbara, I bet you feel drained after yesterday.

MrO....You sound like my physiotherapist :)

Hello to Coco and Mig too :)

    Take care everyone :)

Catie so glad your hubby has some time to recover....it will do him good to rest...awful thing food poisoning...
Karen...it is never ending ...wonder if you have trapped a nerve when you had that fall...hopefully it will right itself...I know what you mean about having to keep going to your GP
Elizabeth I missed the gymnastics...I do admire how brave they are...Sorry you are feeling so tired..is the meds you are on...
Hope everyone else is doing okish...we don't have sunshine here and it has gone quite cold....still it wont be long till summer I feel it in my bones... :D

    Evening all

Hope you have all had a lovely day. Hasn't it been gorgeous.

Barbara, I know what you mean. I was very fit, always playing badminton, squash. Squash was my favourite I must admit. But Mr O, my physio told me to rest up, so I shall do as I am told. But have to say, normally I would agree with you. You have to keep going.

Catie, I am so glad hubby is on the mend, it must be a weight of your mind.

Well, H is petrified, so tomorrow cant come soon enough. Get it over and done with. Best for her, then she can look forward.

Elizabeth, good to see you, sorry you've been so so tired. It must be such a pain.

Right, I shall sit by the window and have a hot choccy with marshmellows if anyone would like to join me.

Thanks everyone. Ruby is due to leave the hospital around 2pm. We are all so excited.

Barbara, hope you did rest up today. No wonder your hips are feeling so bad.

Coco, go carefully with the fence. Get your son to do at least most of it.

Karen, hope the physio is working for you. I would normally keep moving aswell but you're better doing what the doctor says. I know what you mean about having to keep seeing doctors. Think we all get enough of that. Hope it goes well for H tomorrow.

Catie, glad your husband is getting well now. Hope he enjoys his month off.

I used to run half marathons. I'm convinced I would be much worse if I'd been a couch potato all my life.

Hot chocolate with marshmallows before bed.

    Morning all

Coco, you are right. I am sorry to hear about your daughter, poor thing. Lets hope that once she gets an appointment they can sort her out. It is H's college interview today. So I shall be doing the 3 hour college thing.

Thanks for the lovely breakfast. Haven't had one in ages. Shall finish it off with a nice cuppa by the window.

Mig, it's the same here, very overcast but they reckon it's going to be rather warm. I don't know if I had to do injections whether I could. I am a chicken especially needles.

Hope everyone has a good day and the weather does stay warm for you all.

    Shall see you later.

    Afternoon all

Hope you all are having the good weather. It's lovely.

Elizabeth, sorry they didn't have your trousers any more, it does get annoying doesn't it. I am going to send off for Marrisota. Seen some lovely trousers in there. Treat myself. Hayley loved it, she did really well.

Barbara, sorry your hip is so painful. Maybe it's telling you that is the first to be done. Hope it eases for you soon.

Toni, everything seems to go well. She had her interview and they loved her art work. And, they have actually said for her to start in September. I think, although she is really happy, it was a shock. Hope your step daughter gets the one she wants.

And, if I have forgotten anyone, I am sorry. Brain not properly in gear.

Karen I'm so glad to hear they like her work.

I do usually buy from marisota as I'm so short but this pair were from a supermarket and everytime I put them on my daughter says they make me look slim. I don't expect they will get any more in.

shame they can't do both hips at once Barbara especially as they both hurt so bad and they one they don't replace could hinder recovery as you need to walk about a lot on your new hip.
