I'll have some pancakes please.
Hope the little one is home soon.
We have a couple of neighbours who do shift work so we try to fit mowing round their shifts,it's only common curtesy after all.
Hope you all have a good day. Mig0 -
Toni I haven't read in about 8 years apart from a magazine I get and even that has been left in the plastic wrapper for the last few months. I think it is because I spend too much time on the internet. :?
The sun isn't shining here yet. I've got my fingers crossed that it will. It makes me feel better even if I don't get out in it. Just having breakfast in bed then I'd better get ready to go and visit Ruby. Think I'll have some of those pancakes please Toni. Yummy.Christine0 -
Glad you enjoyed your pancakes Christine - now you got and enjoy Ruby0

Morning all
Hope you all slept wellish, I certainly did.
Christine, Ruby sounds as if she will be home very soon. Lets hope she is still being a hungry little one and has put on the weight.
Barbara, you will be ok tomorrow. You will have loads of us in your pockets, so we'll keep your nerves at bay.
Now, for some reason, I am getting myself all confused this morning. So Catie, Mig, Toni and everyone else I have forgotten, I am sorry, brain is really not in gear.
In a little while I am taking H out for a cuppa, cake or whatever, she has her college interview on Wednesday and she needs some relief. So, shall probably be worn out when I get home. But all worth it.
See you later, have a good day everyone and hope the sun is shinning where you are.Karen xx0 -
Hi Everyone,
Hope you all have the sun again - it's beautiful here. Yesterday my nephew arrived out of the blue. Knowing that hubby has been really poorly he came to help with our garden - cut all the lawns, weeded the boarders - a really good job. He's 6' 4'', really strong, and so it took him no time at all. He has such a good heart
Barbara, I do hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. I will be thinking of you and hoping that you get the help you deserve .
Elizabeth, it's a shame RA prevented you from continuing with your gymnastics. I was never very sporty, but have always loved to watch the gymnastics and am a great fan of tennis too.
Toni, thanks for the info on the smilies. Crikey, I think I'll have to ask my daughter to help me....am useless with computers
Karen, I hope your daughter's interview goes well on Wednesday
Coco, hope you are feeling a little better with each day.
Christine, glad you are feeling better and hoping Ruby is home really soon
Hello to Mig and MrO too0 -

Catie thank you....and how nice of your nephew to do the garden.....does he want a job...we will pay well... I am glad hubby is feeling better...it will take time to be fully recovered...
the sun went in but it is quite mild now....I have repotted some busy lizzie I have grown...and some more flowers that I have forgotten there name... :? so my kitchen is in a bit of a mess...but im happy now they are done... we go away in two weeks so I had better get some of the clothes washed and ironed...I am mad for going really but my youngest son and his partner are going and wanted us there..I have rang Monarc* and they will have a wheelchair ready for the airport...
Anyone want a cuppa....Love
Barbara0 -
Catie, what a wonderful nephew you have. I think you can sent him round to me as well. Plenty for him to do.
Barbara, I didn't realise you are away in two weeks. Where are you going. I am sure you will have a wonderful time though. Gives you something to really look forward to. It's just all the packing isn't it. If I lived near you, I would come round and help with that. As they say, two hands are always better than one.
Still lovely here, and me and H had a really lovely time. We were like a couple of kids, we were having a giggle etc. But of course now hurting. But, it was worth it to see her laughing and smiling.Karen xx0 -
Karen I meant to say I will take a back pack with me tomorrow so you will all have room....my brain is in go slow...
Were going to Spain with our youngest son ..we went with them 2 years ago now..but I could get around then.....tell you the truth I would feel better in England....I love our seaside resorts..... it must be my age...

I will also of course be in your pocket tomorrow and will prompt you to speak where necessary.
Will miss you when you go away you know.....
Glad the garden looks so much better Twas no problem. I may be only 5'2 1/2" not 6' 4" like catie's nephew  What a great lad catie
Karen I am so glad you had a nice time with H. I had to go to teh docs with my eldest 18 for her meds review...not such fun I'm afraid  (yes on a Sunday - she is registered at the 'walk in'), moan moan moan0 -
Barbara, hope you had a lovely day with your GDs. I'll be in your backpack tomorrow. What part of Spain are you going to?
Glad you had a lovely day with H Karen.
That was a lovely thing for your nephew to do for you Catie. Can I join the queue for him to do my garden please?
Well, we got a bit of a shock when we went to the hospital. Ruby is now 4lbs 5 ozs. The nurses couldn't believe it (she was only 3 lbs 12 last Sunday) so they brought in another set of scales but they said the same. She has been on very high calorie milk but they have put her on normal milk now. She takes minutes to drink it and won't give up the teat. We were told it won't be long now before she gets home. Yaaay!
A cup of hot chocolate and a piece of cake then bed. Sleep as well as you can everyone.Christine0 -
Morning all
Thanks Toni...I will get hubby to carry the back pack..and I have loads of goodies for us all...in fact I might take you all to the pub for something to eat..it is right across the road for the hospital...
Christine that is brilliant news bless her cotton socks 4ib 5....she is a little fighter that one...you must have been so happy when she was weighed.. and thankyou for being in my backpack...we are going to Benidorm...its the quiet end and such a lovely small hotel...dont think I could cope with a multistory one ..
I will have a cuppa and finish off my list of questions...
See you all later xxxxxLove

Barbara, I'm glad you are getting your list done. I know whats it's like, you get in there and everything goes out of your mind.
Well, I am up for a pub lunch. Do you know, I cant remember the last time I went into a pub, let alone had a pub meal. I think I would love to have a ploughman's lunch.
Christine, she is coming on in leaps and bounds. Brilliant weight gain. She will be home very soon.
Hop everyone else is okish.
It's warm here, but over cast. I don't mind that at all.Karen xx0 -

Oh Barbara, no wonder you are shattered - 3 and a half hours is a terribly long time to have wait - I really feel for you. At least you now know how things will proceed. First though....you have your holiday to look forward to
I think we will all miss you when you are away.
Christine, little Ruby is a star isn't she...such good news that she's gaining weight so quickly

What a long wait you had Barbara but at least you are on the list now. Do you know how long it will be?
My son came round for a while tonight and told me that Ruby will be home on Wednesday as long as she is still ok. Yaaay!
I am going to Dublin on Wednesday morning till the following Monday so won't see her till I get back. My daughter and her family live there. Haven't seen them since Xmas so the little ones will have grown. It's Tyg's birthday. He'll be 2 on Saturday. Nyv is 7 months. They get on really well. Tyg is quite protective of his little sister.

Morning all
Barbara, you make sure you don't over do it. After that long wait of sitting around and then being pulled and prodded. No wonder you are hurting. Take it easy please.
Marvelous new Ruby. But, as already said a shame you will miss her home coming. And have a fantastic time with your other family.
Coco, you make sure he does all of it. And you can tell him, I said so
To everyone else, have a good day, hope the sun is out for you.
I have just got back from physio, and he did what he had to do with me sitting up. Thank goodness (I was dreading coming out and falling again) that is why he did it that way.
Kettles on if anyone wants one, and I shall sit by the window for a while.Karen xx0
