    Hi all
    Its a lovely evening here...why couldn't it have done this earlier... :lol:
    Mig I have never dead headed my hydrangea...and its not suffered...well not yet..but I know what you mean..I have a indoor prayer plant that was my mums then my dad took it on and I have had it for 20 years...I would hate anything to happen to it
    Catie how are you doing and hubby..yea the holiday is daunting ..the hotel is very small with lifts...and the staff are so lovely...so that bit will be ok ..it just the wheelchair and having some one push me...I might hire an electric one....OMG can you imagine me running everyone over .. :lol:
    I can never make rice pudding like my mum made....or anything else come to that...hope you all have a goodish evening ..xxx

    Morning all... :D Smells nice in here ..think Toni must have ah a clean around
    Its cloudy and we have two GDs in bed...I had a good sleep last night thank goodness....hope you all did...
    Today we are going out to Weathersp*** for something to eat...so know cooking... :D
    gosh the weekend goes so quickly...

    I will put the kettle on and warm the grill...there are plenty of Crises free range eggs ...

    Barbara, glad you got a good night sleep. Hope everyone else did. Ah, except for Coco, I know she had a bad one.

    The sun is shinning down here and I hope it will stay. We have Tonies parents down today so I shall be doing my usual mad tidying up.

    Thanks Toni for the lovely clean café, it makes all the difference doesn't it.

    I shall just have a nice cuppa and then I must start tidying up. I'm always getting told not to worry they come to see us not the house,, but you know what it's like.

    My Lucy has gone off to a party and both boys are still asleep. So the house is very quiet.

    As next weekend includes Mayday I thought I'd look for ideas on days out or long weekend. My Son wants to go on a canal boat. I got distracted looking at St Lucia and Mauritius!

    Sorry you have had yet another sleepless night Coco. I do remember going through this and it was awful. Eventually it stopped but I don't know why.

    Have a nice time Karen. I know the girls love to see their Grandparents. Hopefully you won't need to do too much. Its little children that I find hard work and we had some of them to visit recently.

    Had dinner at the pub...OH is not too keen but for £6.50 for two meals what does he want.... :lol: fish is lovey very crispy batter...
    I would love something sweet now....any cake going..
    Karen I agree dont overdo things I was the same a few years ago...but now they take me has they find me..you enjoy having them there...
    Elizabeth ..you make the most of the quiet house....Mauritius sounds good can we all come...my 2 GDs are upstairs drawing...the eldest went to a concert last week...and got her pic taken with her idol...some goth group ...dont ask me the name... :o:lol: but she has not got over it yet and never will she says... :D
    Wonder how Ruby is getting on anyone seen Christine around ..i do hope she is home and doing well...
    Right a slice of cake and a tea please..

    Just popping in for a minute. I have been in Dublin since Wednesday staying with my daughter, her husband and the two kids. It was my grandson's 2nd birthday yesterday. We went to a fantastic place where there are 3 floors of themed toys - kitchen, cafe, garage, supermarket and much more. The baby is 7 months old and always laughing.

    Ruby did get home on Wednesday afternoon but I was already in Dublin. I am off home tomorrow. Can't wait to see her again.

    Will pop back again in the next couple of days. Hope everyone is as well as they can be.

    Morning,It's cold here in nottm but bright and sunny,we must have had a downpour in the night because everything is wet through.
    Been rummaging in the freezer found some liver so it's liver,sausage and mash with cauliflower cheese .
    Just got stairs and landing to clean today,oh does the hoovering and I tittervate ( if that's a word ).

    Mig you always make me hungry..I am the only one in this house that like liver...so rarely cook it....I will be over to yours later if you dont mind...and Titivate...that was my Mums word...so has far as Im concerned its a word.. :lol: 2 girls gone to school ....so will have to look at there rooms... :shock:

    Yep, both girls off to school, Tonies parents off for the day, will all be back this afternoon. I know I have loads to do but have no get up and go, it's all got up and left me.

    We have sunshine at the mo, fingers crossed.

    Christine, so glad you are having a lovely time over there, and yes, I bet you cant wait to hold the newest addition. Good journey home.

    I love liver, but the girls don't. So, we rarely have it. Another one of my loves is bubble and squeak for boxing day. No-one but me likes it so I have not had it in years and years.

    Barbara, have you dared looked in their rooms yet. I hate looking in mine too. When ever I loose cups, plates etc, I know where to look.

    I am going to sit by the window with a cuppa and think about the work I have to do.

    Glad your GD had a great time at the concert with Goth group Barbara! Oh to be able to attend a concert again.....
    I remember my daughters chasing Feeder down the road after a concert. The car got stuck at lights so they wound down the windows and chatted to my girls. they look a bit shocked that anybody even recognised them lol.

    Was thinking of asking my daughters if they wanted to come on holiday with us as an extra pair of hands to help with Dan (don't think I can rely on his Dad judging by past experiences).

    Just paying bills today :(.

    'Goth'.....'Feeder'..... Now I'm feeling really old :)

    Elizabeth, asking your daughters along to help sounds like a good idea :)

    I'm just back from a little outing (coffe and cake) with a friend. It's the first time she's been out in a year :shock: . Her problem started with bad headaches and then she experienced really bad electric shock sensations into her head and face. She was really poorly and dropped from a size 14 to size 8.
    Her face has balloned up with the steroids she has to control her symptoms - a really awful condition to have :(

    Hope everyone is having a 'goodish' day. I'm stiff as a poker with all the physio. New problems to replace the original - well that's how it seems :lol::lol::lol:

    Had bloods done...how come every nurse is different..i told this one last time they couldn't get a vein...she said there we go all done... :D
    Catie how nice for your friend to get out the house...the poor thing...it must be so hard for her ...and painful...anyhow you had a good time...
    Karen I did look in there rooms and closed the door again.... :shock: Tonie's parents do get about....I remember it well... good for them I say..
    Coco has had a bad night I see....it a blinking shame ....hope you manage a nap in the day...
    Elizabeth my Gd was over the moon...she thought they were look a likes..she has a brilliant pic on her phone....hope your daughter join you on Bank holiday...everything is so expensive for a day out in this country...we looked at Alton Tow*** :roll: ...think I will look for vouchers....
    Right I will have a cuppa and sit by the window...I am shattered and done nothing... :lol:

    Catie whatever is wrong with your poor friend? Distraction has to help so I am glad she's been out with you.

    Elizabeth i hope all the bills are paid ::) and, well no harm at all asking your daughters about the holiday.

    Karen my Lucy adores bubble and squaek and would have it every day if she could ;)

    Mig I think there is such a word at tittivate, my Mum used to use it. Plumping cushions and the like :)

    Toni, I think my friend has some kind of Neuralgia. She's been treated by a Neurologist for the past 12 months or so. She's been very ill and spent nearly a year in bed because of the electric shock type pains, At first she was hospitalised and then given drugs to stabalise things.

    Barbara, I'm sure we would all love to come with you, but I'm not sure there would be enough room....what with wheelchairs, walking aids, medication etc :lol::lol::lol: I hope you manage to find what you want whilst out shopping :)

    Coco, hope your son enjoyed his special day :)

    Just had my hair coloured. I've gone a bit darker as I wanted a change. I'm very pleased with it. After she'd styled my hair it looked much longer than when she started.

    Catie I'm sorry to hear about your friend. Her symptoms sound awful.

    I was thinking of taking the girls abroad Barbara rather than on the day out. I don't have strength to do much so need someone who would be prepared to help out and they'd get a free holiday in return.

    Catie it would be lovely if you could come...I still haven't got used to this Wheelchair... :roll: I'm not taking it with me..will use the airport ones then when we get to the hotel will hire on...I got some shorts...hand luggage for hubby..and made him buy some clothes what it it with men or is it just mine... :lol:
    Elizabeth I am glad you like your hair...it make such a difference...will have mine done on Friday morn... my hair has gone very thin...so I have two wigs that I will take on holiday..they arn't that much difference to my own only thicker and colour put through them......I love them..quite a few of my friends have bought wigs since seeing how good they are...
    I will have a cuppa and put my feet up....

    Morning all,blue sky with sunshine here lovely.
    So sausage casserole today,with tomato sausage ,onion,mushroom,red pepper and thrown to make it go further baked beans and some cooked pasta with a sausage casserole sauce mix,used my biggest dish (had to get oh to put it in oven) so plenty for all.
    I am really pleased with myself I have started knitting again something I had to stop a few years ago,without the humira I don't think it would have happened,only a few rows at a time but its a start.

    My youngest was bought a Knitting kit for Christmas 2011 but of course she left it for me. I find it is very therapeutic.

    I've seen a pic of your wigs Barbara and it does mean you can be ready without too much effort. My daughter has a collection but they are a bit mad; blue and rainbows that sort of thing.
