Hello Mig Kathleen Elizabeth Aidan Kerrin and anyone else I missed.
Mig I hope you can sort it out and you will feel better soon.
Kathleen that will make life easer for you.
Elizabeth good luck for Feb yes it would be easer in the holiday's.
Aidan i'm pleased your Mum is going on well let's hope it carries on that way. I think your neighbours are pleased to have you living next to them. you go carful throwing things a round.
Kerrin I hope you have a good day. has your headache gone.
take care all

Good Morning Joan :)I hope all is well with you and Sue? any news on your foot yet? I expect the house is all cosy again now
Kerrin I hope you don't catch any colds. Some people have the hand gel on a clip on their waists you can buy it like that. Just in case someone with a cold touches your hands.
Table tennis eh? Did you enjoy it?
Aidan I am very glad to hear you will still have a couple of scones a week Might get ill if you cut back too quickly
I imagine Pendle Hill has seen some very nasty things go on over the years maybe it holds some of that fear in it? Those poor witches being executed... dreadful. If they actually were witches they'd have saved themselves!! Sorry I'm off!!
I think you live in a fantastic area you did move to the right place and great neighbours too - what more can anyone want?
Lucy was checked over head to toe. Heart trace as well as the usual bloods. We had a look round and met the nurses on the ward too. They were lovely. I can stay with her too and if we are lucky, no infection, eating ok and pain under control she will be home in as little as 3 days!!!
She can have pot noodles, (probably still full of MSG!!!) and her yoghurts can go in the fridge safely Must dig out my marker pen for labelling.
I am indeed a-practising my 'Lancashire accent'!!!! I was hoping Diddicat could nip up to see Lucy on her broomstick while she is at Pepe's
Oh Barbara no electricity? How dreadful How did you cope? I hope it's all safe for you and sorted now? We need a new board here too.
They have said Lucy can have her pot noodles and will store her yoghurts in the fridge for her too so she'll eat
Aw Elizabeth thank you I know they're not ideal, but normal hospitals don't have facilities like the YPU had at the QE. we had a kitchen and freezer so I could prepare Lucy 'home' food All went well so new shoulder on Monday!!
It was an ear infection? Ouch!! Poor you ((()))
Mmmm....I like the idea of the summer hols, but will you cope that long the pain you're in?
I am loving CBB yes Elizabeth it's me!!! I love Jedward too and hope they win. Not keen on Nicola at all, but I never was and you should have heard Paul, Lucy and me cheering when James J went instead of Jedward or the other James.
Those young girls - disgusting I was embarrassed to be female!
Kath I am totally in favour of 'age-proofing' our homes. That means you won't have to move in future. We are doing a ramp ourselves here to make access as easy as possible. there are only 2 steps round the side, but a ramp can eliminate them all
My OH would get confused too with an Alexa - he turns the volume down for the voice on his satnav, but NOT the alarm for speed cameras!!
Hi Mig - I am sorry you had a dicky tummy I hope it has settled now.
Annoying when your internet lets you down isn't it?
Still no Carol? How odd. I hope she hasn't had the bug :?
Love to Christine hope all is well too.

Hello everyone hope you are all reasonably well.
I have just looked on here and realise how long ago it was that I last posted and realised good grief it been 9 days  where have the days gone i'm sure I don't know got lost in a big black void I think.
thanks to all those who have asked where I am I am still here and I have been fine just currently suffering with a very dry mouth all the time and then that makes my lips very sore and dry, its mostly to do with my medications and I have got this constant blocked nose. which don't help either.
well of all the people I have notified about my name change have replied and are all complete and the only thing I need do now contact the passport office to get a new passport but have to wait till next week when I will have the money to do it. got to do it though for our cruise in August. Mr t has had a couple of problems with his name changes as the relevant people are not satisfied with the deed poll   but sorted now funny thing is that same company dealt with mine without problem to be honest I have really had any problems.
well suppose I must go in a moment as I think its time for our evening dinner and I need to go and put it on as I don't think it is very likely that the food will put itself on to cook
Love to you all x
:sun:Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Aiden, my sil called his Alexa, Echo. It answered him but not the kids as with their Aussie accent, they said Echow. And last night, I was sitting quietly watching tv when she said 'I'm sorry. I don't understand the question.' Blimey, she can read my mind. A witch on the hill. Does that happen every time? You're quite welcome to come round. I do need help with the chocolates. Good news that mum's leg is better now.
Kerrin, sorry you had such a long day at work. Probably best not to do swimming as well. Hope today was better.
Toni, the satnav didn't tell you to stop at the red light? I'd ask for my money back. I'm sure we've been saying Mango is 15 for at least a couple of years. I'll have to check with my daughter. I think pot noodles are probably a good idea if Lucy likes them and not the hospital food. It sounds as if the pre-op went well and that Lucy will be very well looked after. Good that you'll be able to stay with her. So it's all go for Monday. Has anyone got the invisible cloak ready? I'm sure there will be quite a few of us coming along.
Joan, I'm pleased to hear you have heating again. Hope the house has warmed up now.
Mig, hope your tummy has settled now. My internet was playing up a few weeks ago because of an update but they eventually got it sorted.
Kath, you think mum's Lowry's are prints. They'll be just as lovely to look at. Will it be very long before you get your ramp? It will make things easier.
Elizabeth, yes it does get very busy in here sometimes. Glad you can hear again. You must really miss taking part in gymnastics.
Barbara, I normally buy chicken breasts but a whole chicken seems more tasty. I made a curry with some of it tonight. I'd better have it again tomorrow or it'll go in the bin. You are welcome to come with Aiden. We'd soon get through all the chocolates. If we don't see you in the cafe, we'll know why.
Carol, the time does fly, doesn't it? I've noticed a few times when I have missed one or two days without realising. So all your name changes are done apart from your passport. That shouldn't take too long.
Went to Ald* today. As usual, as everything came through the checkout, I started putting them straight in to my own shopping trolley. The assistant asked me to put the shop trolley at the end of the checkout. I did but kept putting things in my trolley. No she said, I had to put them in the shop's one then take them out and put them in mine. I said no, I didn't want to do that. Cant see the point of packing things twice. She said it was to keep up the till speed. I just said ok and carried on with how I was doing it. She even stopped putting things through to talk to someone and I was waiting for her. I even handed her the money before she asked me for it. So much for till speed. Go me. I'm faster than an Ald* check out operator. :bee:Christine0 -
early morning to one and all, just after midnight and the tennis is just starting.......:)
Hi Kerring, sorry you had a very slow start with those joints making their presence felt. They bite when you least expect it, or when you feel as if things are not so bad at the moment.
Then a cancelled train.......oh dear, not the best start.
Good that you have avoided the bugs, I am sure we build up some immunity, in the places we work - ie schools, hospitals, etc. Table tennis is indeed kinder on the joints than big tennis.
I will try not to throw too many things Joan, I "helped" with the sandwiches this evening, thought I would slice some pickled baby beets - after throwing the lid, I then launched one beetroot across the kitchen, spooning it out of the jar and off it went. Good job no one was in direct line of fire. Bless, it's a shame.
Hope you are keeping nice and warm again. Love to you Sue and the doggies too.
Hi there Toni. Oh yes, cakes at least twice a week. In fact we are on for 4 this week, Thursday at Ner--- to meet up with Aunt and Uncle, then tomorrow at the G Center, then Sunday at the G Center with our neighbours, for brunch. I am not complaining though.
Pendle and the surrounding area are steeped in history and mystery. Ah, but they were not witches, it was the Daughter of one of them who kind of dropped them in the mire. They used to help the farmers by treating the animals with herbs and potions and at that time, there was a nationwide witch hunt, on order of the King.
Everyone around here seems to insist they are related to the witches of Pendle, in some way or other, :? I guess today, they would be simply Pagans, not ones who are turning people into toads. Good witches, or white witches, who work only for the greater good
I think most food producers have removed the MSG, there was a lot of hype about it, it is a salt based product that enhances the flavour, it is not harmful per say, as the press wanted us to believe.
Sounds like Lucy had the works, I assume this was the pre op assessment as they call them now. When I was nursing that was all done on the day before surgery, but beds where not like gold dust then, so people were admitted a day or two before their op.
Glad they did a thorough check up
Good to meet the ward staff too and very glad to hear that they are lovely. Great that you can stay too. I will be under the cloak, keeping an eye, rest assured.
Home in a short space of time seems to be the norm. To be honest, if things go well and to plan, then home is far better - infection risk is lowered and people recover faster at home. You will continue to be a great nurse and Diddicat will keep us updated as well, on route to the hospital.
We used to keep a lot of food on the wards, but that was phased out in the late 80's. I remember putting the eggs on and the porridge - yes, I worked with Florence lol.
CBB is not on my viewing list, I have seen some hoo ha with Kim Woodburn in the papers, but that's about all.
Hi there Carol good to see you, don't worry, the days do fly by with ever increasing speed.
Sorry you have a dry mouth, I can sympathise totally. The drugs I take cause it too. I used biotene, that helped a lot. There are various gels and mouth rinses that you can get from the chemist. I would avoid using any of the vaseline (petrol derived) lip salves, they only make things worse. Natural balms, again, the chemist or the health store will sell them, are far far better.
Sorry, I am harping on again.
Good that the name change has gone smoothly, moreso than Mr T's. I have no idea how much a passport is these days.
Hi Christine - Yes, Echo is another option for the "wake" word for Alexa / Echo. Ours has been very busy talking to the tv tonight. Telling us the time, trying to find music tracks, lol.
Yes, whenever there is a fair bit of snow and it settles in the gullies on the hill, you can see the snow witch. Will be round in a jiffy to finish the chocolates.
The cloak is all ready to go, I am sure there will be many of us underneath. I think we need a table, plates, scones, T and coffee, good job it is a magic cloak and expands accordingly.
Way to go in Aldi, you tell em. I know they ask for the trolley to be round this way, not that way, then fire things through at a rate of knots. You use your own and go at your own speed, the customers are the ones paying their wages. Let me at em, lol
OK, I am rooted to my gel cushion. I must potter a little. Hi Barbara, Kath, Elizabeth and all, love to everyone, take lots of care............scone and coffee...............mmmmmmmmmm such little things, but they are so exciting. :? :oops:XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning Aidan
I hope you are unstuck from your gel cushion?
Diddicat reported trying to land in your kitchen and slipping on an unusual toy....smelled like beetroot or something. :?
I hope you enjoy your cakes and scones this week. A few cuppas out with other people is good for you
I didn't think they would be witches just stupid ignorant folk jealous and fearful. They didn't understand as much as we do about medicines and illness so blamed it on us women  I think I'd have been one too!! You would for sure - surely they were nurses too :?
Pot noodles...ummmm....oh no!! It's still there the MSG!!
Oh well a little of what you like?
I am glad you will be under the cloak for Lucy's op. There is plenty of room Yes the pre-op is done to reduce admission time I agree.
Diddicat will likely increase her visits to you while she's checking on Lucy. I agree we can mange at home easily
Christine I agree with you that satnav was lucky I saw the light myself!!
Funny that Alexa can't understand the kids I bet they have an Australian version.
Aidan has the cloak washed and aired (it had tuna stuck to it so was a bit wiffy! Room for you all
They are cheeky at Aldi - I understand with the 'ditherers' but most of us are fast enough. Hmmmph!!
Carol good to see you and No; food tends not to cook itself
You have done well getting everything changed into your new name - funny Mr T had more trouble than you
There is plenty of time to have your passport back for your cruise in August - lucky you
Love to Kerrin who had jolly-well better have had a call back from rheumy nurse!
Kath - still walking well and listening to her podcasts. When is the Great British Bird Watch this year? Do you know Kath?
I hope Elizabeth is feeling more rested maybe and Mig is ok too
Where is Barbara? Still off the internet due to her re-wiring maybe?
Of course Joan and Sue I am glad the heating is sorted our forecast here is COLDER The little yorkie ruptured another disc and had emergency surgery last night. She will be home today as she can wee and stand up already!!
Love

Morning all still no electric to be honest its has been on and off..so I went to stay at my nieces..I am now using next doors internet..they gave me the code a few years ago but only use it in emergency and when they are at work..not to much mess at all he went in the loft and the wiring is good..so traced everything and change lights in the bathroom and switches and sockets..just got to plaster over the holes now..
Aiden yes you learn it the coook and boook oh you do make me laugh..and you are doing well there with the scones ...slowly does it I say..
Toni the staff are so lovely at the hospital , and cant do enough for you..look our for the young man with the very high quift..not a clue how to spell it but you will see him if he is still there..so lovely he is..if you need supplies and cant get out we would gladly bring them.. have you seen the size of the TVs in the single rooms..we didnt have one in the bays.. so glad it is all on for Monday..
Joan how are you and Sue hope you are now warm sorry if you have already said..my mind goes blank..

greetings all, hope everyone is as ok as possible. It's turning chilly, we have a frost tonight.
Yes Toni, I am no longer at one with the gel cushion, lol. Lucky that Miss Slimkins was not in firing line of said beetroot cannon. I have not used any today and forgot to buy some more, so we are safe for a few days :?
Coffee and scon was very nice this morning, we met up at the G center, as planned, on time, all in the same place Success. I had my one large americano then one large decaf - two ordinary and I am very jittery, even more than normal
Looking forward to brunch on Sunday with neighbours, maybe a veggie breakfast for moi and a scone, just to make sure they are ok.
No, I don't think they were witches at all - oh yes, we would have been sent for trial I am sure, psychic and a retired nurse, I would have no chance lol.
All alternative therapists would be in the dock too.
Oh, is MSG still in pot noodle, not to worry, it's not harmful per say. There was a lot of hype about it, for no reason really, moderation, it is fine and they still use it a lot in other countries.
We won't mind Diddicat doing extra visits, I have explained to Pepe, who is now off into the kitchen, to eat his supper.............wait for the howl, because he doesn't like it. I have to be there to make a fuss and tell him what a good boy he is for eating it.............. :? Bless.
Yes, the cloak was whiffy, my fault for flinging tuna, I can throw any food as far as you like, without even thinking about it. All nice and clean and ready to go.
Oh the poor Yorkie, bless, he is through the wars and then some. (((((()))))))
I guess you will not be resting too much over the week end, me thinks ones mind will be whirling round. Try and rest when you can - calming vibes and many blessings.
Hi Joan, fortunately the beetroot landed on the vinyl, so it was easily cleaned - it could have landed on one of the cats, that would have made them jump.
Hope you are keeping nice and warm, as the temp goes down for a few days. Was a nice day though, lots of sunshine, after days of thick cloud and fog.
Hi Kath, hope you are ok, out and about I guess, covering those miles now, a great achievement. I will have a read through the link you posted, we have so many birds around, with the woods etc and just about everyone feeds them, we have had three robins in the garden, lots of singing and shouting -must be sorting out their territories. Nuthatches, greenfinches, sparrows, owls, dunnocks, great tits, coal tits, wrens, woodpeckers, tree creepers.........to name a few. I love wrens, they are so tiny and flit about so quickly.
Hi there Barbara - you did right going round to your Nieces - had a lovely lunch too.
Next door are using our internet as their has gone off and won't be back on for a day or two, we are two peas in a pod lol. BT have been very busy with the green boxes in the village, little huts over the top of them nearly all week. When you look in and see a squillion wires, it's no wonder things go off !!
Good that the wires are sound in the attic, one less job. Now the plastering and decorating.......
So we have to look out for a man with a quiff, duly noted, we can keep watch and track him down, he sounds a very nice person. Is he a nurse?
Hi to Carol, Christine, Elizabeth, Mig and all.
I will potter along and watch some tennis that has just started. Dan Evans is doing really well, glad he beat Tomic, not too keen on him, too much attitude.
Love to all, take care and keep warm. Charlie and Duffy are on this week end. Must ask about the wedding. I will need a new hat. :?
XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning!
Aidan Miss Slimkins isn't happy - we have fog so she is looking out her GPS for circat training. Glad she was safe from beetroot cannons I have to make a fuss when Daisycat eats too and uses her scratch posts!! So needy!!! (but remember we both need to be needed!!)
Glad you enjoyed your scone and everyone was where they were supposed to be and at the same time Sounds like caffeine really doesn't agree with you there
I am so glad we didn't live in the times when you would have been labelled a Witch!! Unless of course you were????
Lucy can cope with some MSG instead of nothing can't she?
I will be bed-making and packing steadily over the weekend Paul can help with the former. Thank you I accept all calming vibes
Who will be on duty when we get back next week? I need to book a bed for Lucy and myself.
Barbara - the first thing Lucy said was how big her telly is!!! hahaha! I will have to watch Hollyoaks, Dance Moms, American Dad etc
I will watch out for the chap with the quiff!!! It's so nice knowing how nice they all are before we go.
I don't think your neighbours will be affected if you use their internet so I would go ahead. I hope it's sorted soon though sounds like progress has been made
Kath thank you for the link - I have downloaded my pack and am ready to go. If Lucy is well enough I hope she will watch with me.
We'll keep Daisycat in while we watch!!
Joan Jedward are still doing ok and still in the house someone from Geordie-Shore was evicted last night. I don't watch that and thought she was an embarrassing girl
So your bedroom is still cold? Not good it's very icy here.
I hope all our missing friends are ok.

Joan get them back to the boiler we dont want you cold...
sorry I have had a read through all the post but them the notes I take dont make sense...
Love to everyone keep warm and safe...xxxxxLove

A late evening to all, Toni, Mig, Carol, Christine, Barbara, Joan, Kath, Elizabeth, Kerrin and all who pop in for those calorie free cakes
We do both need to be needed, you are right Toni. Poor Miss Slimceacat, I have not seen her today, so I assume the GPS was not found and the fog was too risky. I am sure Pepe said they do Circat training on their own, if Diddicat cannot make it. I am not totally convinced.
I have just finished fussing and praising his Lordship for eating his supper (which he wasn't too pleased with), then he had to have an escort to the loo, oh it's worse than being on the wards, lol. At the moment he is sat on top of Cookie, on the back of the settee. She doesn't mind, well, she has little choice when he plonks himself down on her.
No, the coffee at the G Center, although nice, is not one I can have two with caffiene, or I feel quite sickly. A Decaf is fine. Looking forward to our Brunch today.
Me, a witch, well, no, not really. But I would have been up for trial I am sure. I try not to listen to my psyche too much now, it is very tiring, even if it is usually very true.
The calming vibes will continue as required, there are jars of them in the cake cupboard. Plenty to go round, they are powerful
Matron from the Royal, Nurse Glady's and Hattie are all on next week, George will be on call 24/7
The bed is already pre booked and waiting, with LARGE tv and every possible thing to hand.
The cloak is in the airer, just to make sure it is warm and ready to go. We can assemble very early on Monday and we will be there, rest assured.
Hi Joan, oh no, the boiler is playing up again, not what you want or need when we are in for a cold week ahead. I hope you can get it sorted asap. Monday, good, we do not want you both huddled round an oil radiator.
I have not seen snow on our forecast, frosts yes, but no snow. We are not geared up for snow in the UK. Take me to northern Norway in real snow and I would be happy as could be.
Mum n Dad IL are doing ok, they popped in Saturday for coffee and a croissant, after they had been shopping - we watched some tennis that we had recorded, then they went on their way, all of 50 yards, back home.
Take care, we need your boiler to keep going..........
All the electrics nearly done, that is great news Barbara, just the plaster and decor to sort out. It will look lovely when it is all done and you will know that all the wiring is safe and sound, with a new circuit breaker board too.
Our internet speed has gone up quite a bit - not sure why, but not complaining. I think next door is still piggy backed on to ours, will ask them today if their is back working again. Give and take, or share and share alike. We tagged on to theirs when ours went pear shaped.
I think a scone will be in order, after brunch today. Rude not to when they have been lovingly baked, fresh each morning. Sometimes, they are slightly warm..................mmmmm
The male nurse sounds very good, we are born, not made, lol.
We have had an at home day, our get up and go, got up and went, so nothing has really been done, save a little fussing and washing / drying. I was going to iron, but I lost the will.
I have just gone flying over the little side table near the fireplace. Only saved by the kitchen door frame.
Hi to Carol, Elizabeth, Christine, Mig, Kath, Kerrin hope all is ok and you are having as good a week end as possible.
Time to watch some live tennis. Cannot miss a beat. Take care, love to all, XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

On full alert to join you beneath the cloak on Monday. Yesterday we did the Long Eaton track. We had the gazebo to sit under, but the wind was biting. Hope you enjoy the Big Bird Watch.
Joan, hope you've had the boiler fixed again.
Aidan, you must be very disappointed with Andy getting knocked out of the Australian Open. Well it must be difficult playing upside down.
Barbara, my mum would speak normally in a conversation, but when she read to me it was loook at the boook. This is how I was taught Someone by Walter De La Mer.
Sum one came knocking
at my wee small door.
Sum one came knocking
Am sure, sure, sure.
A lissenned, A opened
A loooked frumm left ta rite
but nought there wuzz a stirring
in the still dark nite.
That's what you get with a bilingual family. Derbyshire, Yorkshire with a touch of Scottish, Nottingham all mixed together. So we greet each other with "Ay oop mi dook" my favourite phrase is,
"A yer gorrany on emon ya?" Aiden might know enough Nottinhamese to translate."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon all sleet here and very cold...I just hope there is no fog tomorrow for Toni's trip up to Manchester..
Aiden ..you having to escort his lordship to the loo..I had to read it again ...poor cookie but at she will warm bless or is it he... :?: the cloak will come into it own tomorrow ..keep us all warm while looking out for Toni and Lucy an home day is good now and them, thinking about it we have quite a few these days..but come springs we will al be out and about..yes I feel safer now all the wiring has been checked...sad I know but I keep going to have a look at the new fuse box....
Joan dont worry I am being careful tools and wires everywhere..hope the boiler is more on than off..
Kath that is brilliant..you certainly are bilingual ..our lots are all Lancashire..with a touch of welsh...on both my mum and dads side..
Just been to pick up some thermal curtain for Arg*s..they are in the sale and had good reviews..we do need to change the patio doors they are sort of twisted..but for the meanwhile these will help...
Love to Toni and Lucy if we dont hear from you ..like Aiden says all the good vibes coming your way..wishing Lucy a speedy recovery and hope she is the first on the list...(()) xxLove

A very quick post to say tata for now everyone.
I know you will all be under the cloak tomorrow for us. Cris Skezier will be with us in spirit too.
Barbara will hopefully be able to let you know how she is I will text her when I see Lucy safe and well out of theatre
I am scared, but looking super-cool and confident I hope
GULP!!!
Looking forward to admitting Lucy into our ward here later in the week. She will appreciated the MASSIVE TV!!
Love to you all

Aiden, I had to giggle about the flying beetroot. I do intend to continue to pack my way in Ald*. I know the customer isn't always right but she is this time. I'm qualified in aromatherapy so I'd have been with you and Toni burning at the stake.
Toni, Ald* want to speed things up by dumping my shopping in their trolley but don't mind waiting till someone finishes dithering with the packing and only then start searching in their bag for money or a card. And if you have a basket, you have to pack straight in your own bag. Oops, sorry, off on a rant again. Poor little yorkie. Sounds as if she will be fine again though. Hope you and Lucy are all ready for tomorrow and that you get some sleep tonight. We'll try not to make too much noise under the cloak. Sending calming vibes and lots of hugs.
Joan, can they not fix your bedroom heating or are you ok with it as it is? Wish I could turn my bedroom radiator off but it's stuck. And your boiler flame keeps going out. Hope they can sort that for you tomorrow.
Kath, I'll be doing the bird watch. I might go to the park as I'm not getting very many birds in my garden at the moment. I have to be careful when I put food out as a couple of cats sometimes take a shortcut through my garden. What is the Long Eaton track? Is it a walk? What was that you said?
Barbara, are you still at your niece's? It was good of your neighbour to give you the code. Will you be much longer without electricity? Yes Mango did go to Australia about 6 months after my daughter and her family. He stayed with me then went to my sil's dad's in Fife for his tests and jabs as he was flying from Glasgow. Oh, thermal curtains in the sale. I'll go and have a look. Could do with some on my front door. And the back one.Christine0 -
Hi to all, hope everyone has had a fair Sunday.
Hello Joan, I am wishing your boiler well and hoping the pilot ignition is working and that you have heating. All will be fixed, again, tomorrow - warming hugs all round. Thank you, we had a very nice brunch with our neighbours, then a scone of course.
Hi Kath, the Cloak is primed and ready to go, everyone can gather in the wee small hours and we will set off, incognito like.
It is a long time since I went to Long Eaton. Glad you had the gazebo to shelter, but yes, the wind was a lazy one for sure, went straight through you.
Poor Andy, I just had a feeling he was going to be knocked out, shame, but I think he is well enough in front on points to keep his number one position. It seems to be all change this last year, with new players really challenging the top four and succeeding in many cases. The Aus Open is a free for all now and I would guess Roger will be going for another Grand Slam victory.
Love the poem and yes, I do understand Nottingham, I lived there for many a year. Aw right mi duck, ta mi duck, taraa - I think it is have you got any money. I used to like it when someone had a cold and you would hear them say, Av been blowin mi noses all weeock............
Hi Barbara, yes, you did read it correctly, his nibs shouts and likes an escort to the tray, so you can tell him he is a good boy........ boy is he spoiled rotten. :?
Cookie is a she and she was well squished, you could see her ears and that was about it. When she has had enough, she will spit at him, or bat him lol.
We have some hot lavender wheaties and some fluffy hot water bottles, scones, sandwiches, spare pot noodles, neck pillows, comfy chairs, jars of good vibes and well wishes, it is more the size of a yurt, this cloak.
Admiring the new circuit board is fine, a bit of a change from the white fuses that you pulled out and wound new fuse wire round them   wonder we didn't all blow up.
Hope the new curtains help, they sound very nice and thermal is good, in this chilly weather.
Tarra for now Toni, sending all our love and best wishes possible for every success and abundant hugs to you Lucy and all.
You will be full of confidence, on the outside, worrying like mad on the inside. I will send a jar of extra confidence too.
The bed is ready and reserved for VIP guest. The tv is enormous, with surround sound and every bell and whistle
Love right back to you XX
Hi Christine I thought it was funny too, the flying beetroot. I did slice some tonight, without sending it into orbit.
Oh, we would all have been on trial, aromatherapy, psychics and herbal homeopathic things...........no chance for us.
We always seem to get behind a ditherer in the shops, taking an age to pack, then loosing their card, forgetting their pin, Even phoning their OH to get the pin......... I do try and remain calm, but standing in line, in one spot, is agony. I don't use crutches for the fun of it. Grrrrrrr, /i can sympathise with you wholeheartedly.
I thought the long eaton track was the old speedway, I maybe wrong, Kath will no better than me. Sorry Kath, Christine was asking you, apologies.
Our neighbours internet is back up and running, so they are not piggy backing from us. We didn't mind, it has boosted our speed no end.
I bet it was worrying with Mango going to Aus. I remember when our pus cats went to France. They went on Air France and we were on British Airways - I was in bits the whole day, until they arrived at Bordeaux at nine in the evening. They had been fine, just us humans that had been hopeless. :animal_busy:
Well, I will leave love and hugs to all, Mig, Elizabeth, SW, Carol, Kerrin and everyone who has popped in.
Time to watch the tennis that has just started. It is a HOT day in Melbourne today, 30 something....................no good for me.
Take care, I will ready the cape and be around to collect everyone, wear something warm, it is chilly when we are airborne. XXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
