Afternoon to one and all, foggy here, no sign of Pendle Hill, well, no sign of much really :?
Hi Toni - yes, the water came back on, then, while I was in the shower, it went to nothing but an ice cold trickle  Bracing to say the least. OH to the rescue with jugs of warm water from the kitchen. I was frozen :x :x Today's shower was fine, warm all the way through, pressure seems ok, everything crossed.
Pepe says Missy Diddicat has been round while we have been out and about today, so he is resting now - I am not convinced, surely DC would not be out in the fog, unless the broom has GPS
We are still on for meeting up with Mum n Dad tomorrow, watch this space, to see who ends up where, lol.
Meercats are so adorable, they really look out for each other in their groups. As we all do here Someone is always on watch as well
Sinex, in French, probably Sinex, lol. I used to try and explain things to the GP, who could speak some English, after going to the far end of the field, it turns out most medical terms are the same  She even offered me a job in the baby clinic, doing the MMR and other jabs.............errrrr, no thanks lol. Kind of you to ask though.
Give the Sterimar a whirl, it might help, I love it, for cleaning and clearing ones tubes.
i am sure you are feeling more cold, with a little bit of stress !! and shock, worry etc, it tends to make you feel chilly and need warmth. With all the planning and prep for Lucy's op, it will have knocked you sideways into next week. Many (((())))) Hope your friend is feeling a bit better and still giving out orders
Hi Joan, hope you and Sue and the doggies are ok, take care if you venture out in the fog. It is not nice.
Hi Kath - Olive was great, those glasses used to make me laugh, how she acted in them I don't know, I would have been on the floor.
Talking of buses, you have been out again and been buying too. I think we need to get a warren
They are lovely, they have some lovely ones at the G center too.
We have great taste 8) 8) Take a rest now, all this gadding about, lol.
I hope everyone else is ok sending hugs and lots of love XXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

There you are Barbara, posting near the same time as me, lol.
Another mini Christmas, you and Mig are doing well for the numbers of Christmas do's
Hope you had a good time and a lovely meal. Was there cake?
Oh yes, Olive was in Eastenders, I had forgotten that, wasn't she Peggy's Sister? It is so long since I have watched it.
Carol will likely be on her way home, completely snuggled and cuddled.
Oh, I see now, cuppa and something sweet, phew, I was getting worried there for a minute. Panic over, Barbara can eat cake.
Catch you later, lovely people. XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
good evening all well I have had my snuggles and my cuddles I had a lovely couple of days with the family. The baby is absolutely gorgeous she is not very big but she has quite long legs and feet. how she now weighs 9lb 15.5 ozs I do not know. unfortunately she wasn't very well on Thursday she had a rash on her front and back and she was being sick after her feeds it turned out she had a little viral infection. my other little cherub was a school during the day but I saw her each day after school and a right little monkey she is too always smiling. before I came home on Friday I met up with my Sister for a coffee in c***a before getting my train home. unfortunately on Friday morning my daughter was sent home from work with sickness bug and my youngest granddaughter was sent home from school unwell and grandson had to visit A&E as had a flare up of his chronic pancreatitis. so I left a household of sick people.
Now the hard work starts again tomorrow while I sort out the other half of people I need to change my name with so think the next couple of days are going to be busy.
keep warm and safe everyone
love to you all.Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Morning everyone.
Just trying to catch up after a weekend of laying low. Took my Meth on Friday evening, felt icky on Sat as usual, went swimming early on Sunday and chilled for the rest of the day. The high life I lead on weekends, but it's needed to survive the working week. Going to try get hold of rheumy nurse today to discuss the side effects, a bit tired of a constant headache.
I don't have in insoles yet, just had impressions done, should get them in 5-7 weeks.
Glad you enjoyed the cuddles Carol, but not that everyone was poorly. We have chicken pox doing the rounds at school.
Well done Kath, you are becoming quite the bus traveller. Almost as much as me. Today will be chaos in London as there is a tube strike so my quiet bus route will be quite the opposite.
Time to go and brace the madness.

Morning Kerrin
Yes I did enjoy the snuggles and the cuddles. and everyone being poorly happened on Friday the day I came home so it wasn't that bad it didn't effect the visit really. I must admit with the 4yr old being at school now when the babys rash came up we were going through all the things like chicken pox ect that she could have passed on to the baby from school.
I notice you speak about tube strike in London I live in London too in Putney south west London where are you.
take care on your journey to workStay positive always👍xx0 -

Hi Joan Thanks my friend was quite a bit better (she's the one with the poorly yorkie. Yorkie doing well having hydrotherapy twice a week atm can stand working on getting her back legs to bend though.
Aw Carol I am so glad you saw baby ad the 4 year-old was gorgeous too you waited a long time for those cuddles!
Not so good about that rash :? glad it turned out to be viral, but my goodness you did leave a poorly household behind
I hope they are all on the mend by now?
Kerrin do they give you anything to counteract the effects of your MTX? Folic acid for instance??
I hope the buses are not as bad today as you feared. I hope the swim was good? I managed a walk yesterday, but today it's very wet so will walk on the treadmill instead.
Barbara I hope you had a lovely meal out with your son and family
Just checked and you are right - they don't do backs I wish they did - it might have got you do give in and get yours sorted
My friend is a good bit better now although she hasn't got much of a voice and looks like she's done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.....
Aidan how awful!! Water going icy while you were in the shower
Your OH is a star with his jugs of warm water!!
Indeed Pepe was correct...or at least probably correct. Paul foolishly let Missy Diddicat out LATE about 4pm, (while I was visiting my friend), and she does not have GPS. She arrived back about 8pm having got totally lost on her way home bless her
I can imagine you giving the MMR to the French babies!!! I learnt the words for leukaemia and epilepsy and hemiplegic migraine in French and as you say all were so similar apart from leukaemia.
Luckily the shock did knowk me into this week as there is much preparation to be done ready for Lucy's op 2 weeks today!
My friend was allowed home!! Her wife is a nurse too so they had little choice. The 'patient' is behaving quite well, but is so bruised and battered and her voice is so quiet. the tube that went down it I supposed?
I LOVE that Hare!! So classy!! You do indeed have excellent taste!!
Kath on the buses!! My parents loved that programme!! Poor Olive she wasn't even ugly just made to look so bless her.
Your Hares are bronze?! Lovely looking they are.
I am starting to feel left out
You are doing so well hopping on and off buses
Love to you all

Morning all just had my 5-6 weekly hair cut and coloured.and it needed it..
Carol glad to have you back safe and sound..and all cuddled out..the poor little one hope she is recovered now...I haven't filled the forms in yet for my name ..will have to get sorted with it..
Toni sorry I missed the bit about the sinuses..I did have the spray .. but didn't really help..he said to lay on the bed with my head hanging over then it runs up the nose...no chance glad to hear your friend is home and her wife is a nurse..so she is in safe hands ..not long now for Lucy ..like you say so much to organize ..did you mention staying with Lucy..
Aiden sorry I have just notice one on the bronze look a like figures was your they do look nice.. especially on your light wood furniture..,
Kerrin..its such a shame there are side effects with the meds..especially when you are working..I hope you can get through to the rheumy..its best to mention the headaches especially..you do well with the swimming...glad you could chill out after it..
Joan hope you and Sue have a good day...its pouring down here so wont be moving..
Hope Christine is ok...
Not sure if I said but the house has to be rewired....  not looking forward..but decided I will get new wallpaer for the one wall..over the fire and along into the through room..then it will look different...getting a bit sick of magnolia...
Will leave you for now love to everyone xxxxxxxLove

Aidan, love your hare too. Toni, yes, my hares are bronze. I have to tell you, the puss cats had fun doing their circat training. I was snoozing on the window seat and they woke me with their antics. I was in hysterics.
Oh the 23rd sound a long way off. Hope Lucy can wait until then. Poor love. :?
Carol I hope baby has recovered from the virus. But I'm glad you had lots of snuggly cuddles.
Joan, thank you. Hope you and Sue are keeping well.
Much love to Elizabeth, Christine. Barbara and Kerrin and anyone else I've Missed. xxx"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to one and all, thought I had better have a catch up, the cafe is flying
Carol, you have had loads of snuggles and cuddles and then everyone was poorly before you left, oh dear. I hope they are all ok asap. Good to see you back safe and sound.
Good luck with the rest of the information changing......it is not until you count up, who needs to know, that the number gets longer and longer.
Kerrin I hope you are feeling a bit better now, havinig felt pretty rotten after your Mtx. Do they offer medication to relieve and nausea etc? There are plenty for the Dr's to choose from. Good idea to have a chat with the rheumy nurse. Let's hope they can help.
I saw some pictures of the station in London, I cannot remember which one, it was packed to the rafters. I imagine it is chaotic. The buses will be extra busy I am sure.
Good luck facing the crowds.
Hi Joan, oh the car is lovely, we gave, well, I helped a bit, her a jet wash and wax yesterday, then it rained all night   She is still pretty clean, as we have only been local today, with OH trying to avoid puddles and squishy leaves.
Mums leg has improved and they are happy for her to stay at home, no need at the moment for any more antibiotics. Just to pop back in a week, to check it is ok, there is a heamatoma under the skin, but that should disperse eventually.
Glad that your friend is feeling better Toni and their little doggie too, bless. With her OH being a nurse, she is in safe hands. Her throat will be sore, some people are more sensitive than others to being intubated. Lots of ice cream is a good help.
Bruised and battered for sure.
Poor Diddicat, getting lost and not coming in till 8pm. Her in built GPS must have gone askew. We will have to fit a new one to the broom, for future training sessions. Pepe is resting at the moment, as is Cookie and Mother is a bit bewildered today, not sure where she is, bless, she is a stately old lady at 17.
You will have a lot on, getting everything in order, two weeks today, goodness.
Thank you, we like the Hare, they do make them in bronze as well, but they are quite expensive.
You must get a Hare, we need a whole warren Ours is resin, but it looks nice, none the less.
The shower was a BIG shock and thank goodness OH is always on hand to assist and stop me freezing. Today it is fine, no problems.
I could not have done the clinic in France, I would not have been good with a room full of screaming kiddies.
I did have two hospital admissions while we lived over there. Both cardiac related. The staff were SO SO good. I was covered 100% on my carte vitale, due to me dropping to bits, lol. The hospital in Tolouse was excellent and they let OH stay in the same room, there was this magic bed that appeared out of the wall  Most of the nurses spoke some English and I spoke some French, so we managed just fine.
I see you have had your hair done Barbara - I am ready for another clippering, but OH is busy with computers and phone, so I best keep quiet until another day, lol.
The hare is sat on Mum's oak side table, she used to keep it in the hall, it is on wheels, so is was brought in when guests came to their bungalow. I will not be parted with it, I think it was a wedding present, which would be 1959. We also have their sideboard and a few other small pieces.
Oh dear, a re wiring, that is quite an upset, with new channels up walls etc. It will be fine after all the re decorating is done and dusted and you will be safer too, with the new RCD boxes.
I nearly sat on you Kath, I must take more care when I am near Toni's window seat. The cats do have their moment. You would not think it now, but early morning and late evening, it can be a complete mad house here.
Your hares are lovely, just waiting for Toni to get one as well.
Hi to Christine, Elizabeth, Mig, and all.
We did all manage to meet up at the G Center this morning. It was pouring with rain and not very busy at all. Our drinks were ready by the time we had taken our coats off and sat down The scones were as fresh as could be, with lots of butter, well, you have to have calcium.
Time to potter, it is going dark, so more rain on the way I think. We have weather warning for Wed Thur, high winds and snow  NO, we don't want snow, even though it looks lovely.
Take care one and all. Love XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening everyone. On the train back home. Tube strike didn't affect me too badly. I don't often use it, but did mean buses and roads were a bit busier. All in all a fairly straightforward day, except tennis club became table tennis due to the rain.
No phone call back from Rheumy nurse today, maybe tomorrow. The nausea I can handle, it's not that bad. It's the headaches that are worrying me. And the fatigue! I take 10 mg folic acid the day after 15mg of meth.
I love snow, but has to be enough to cut me off from the outside work so I can't get to school.
Fresh scones, yummy!
Take care everyone in this yucky weather.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk0 -
Kerrin they can up that for you to as much as every day except MTX day. ((()))
Aidan - Diddicat hasn't risked going out today she's avoiding going out in fog until her GPS is fitted.
I am glad pusscats are ok, but hope Mother is especially :? 17 is a good age.
Glad Mum is allowed to stay at home and have you keep an eye on her leg.
I NEED A HARE!!!
Maybe two like Kath's I have bronze frogs...
I am so glad you witnessed the circat training Kath!! did it involve much tuna eating???
I have asked if I can stay with Lucy Barbara, but not sure yet :? if not apparently they rent rooms somewhere in the hospital???
LATEST NEWS!!
Lucy has CT tomorrow afternoon!! This is getting real!

Love the hares.

Hello Hare lovers.
Mig, how lovely for Harley and your family that they met up and are having fun.
Joan, let's hope they're wrong about the snow. I shan't be going out in it.
Toni, I have never seen so much tuna. I don't know where they put it all. Pity they didn't have any salmon, I'd have been down licking the bowls with them.
Kerrin, I take 5mg Folic on every day except MTX day. I get a sore mouth. :?

Evening to you all
Well nearly back to normal after **** the business will the name change everybody now informed.
yes it was a pity Joan yes it was a pity about all the sickness but it was on the day I was due to come home so it didn't spoil the few days ad they are all well. But yesterday my little great granddaughter Lille was sent home from school unwell and I have been told today that she is quite poorly with chicken pox. talk about all one after another.
yes Toni I waited three whole weeks from when aby was born and believe me they were three very long weeks. and yes I did leave a poorly household but as I have just said above the eldest great granddaughter now has chicken pox . Baby should be ok because of their newborn immunity that they have. fingers crossed anyway.
Barbara yes I am Glad to be back safe and sound yes baby is fine now. but the other one now has chicken pox.
oh yes Aiden the amount of people you have to inform and of course they all want something different some want a certified copy others are happy with a photocopy some want a scanned copy and an email some don't want anything and do it over the phone. but I think o have completed them all now and awaiting replies abys fine now but the other one now has chicken pox its going around the school apparently.
keep warm and safe love to you allStay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to one and all, Kath, Toni Barbara Mig Carol Kerrin Christine Joan Elizabeth - did I miss anyone? Apologies if I have, but all are included
Toni, I was all set to let you know I would be under the cloak for the CT scan, sorry I did not get chance to write, before you went. I hope things were as ok as can be and they got all the images they needed.
Yes, you must get a Hare. There are lots on Eb-- or Ama---, if you search for resin Hares. I have never looked for bronze ones, they are a bit more expensive
I think Diddicat should stay put until all the weather that is coming our way, has been and gone, very high winds, snow, sleet, rain, thunder, lightning...........not a time to be on a broomstick, GPS or not. Pepe said he will skype her when we are out or not looking. He is next to me on the sofa, peeping.
All pus cats are ok, Tosca aka Mother, seems to cheer up when she has the kitten biscuits from the vets, so I will get a load of them today, she was purring and chirruping, bless her. Cookie ate too many and threw up, as cats do, at the drop of a hat. That reminds me I must get more tuna, it seems to be vanishing ??
I hope you can stay at the hospital, most have rooms for relatives, I remember the family rooms we used to have, especially on the ICU or HDUnits. They had pull out beds, little kitchens, really nice, all funded by donations from families.
We will see mum and dad today, we went to Skipton on Tues, I had a piece of bone sticking out of the socket where my tooth was taken out, I thought something was sharp, so we went, lots of hugs and kisses from the receptionist and dental nurse (they love us to bits). John just shook hands as usual It was the smallest piece of bone you can think of, but it felt like a spare tooth   He did a spot of cleaning and said, on your way...........no charges More kisses and off we went. Nero's, then Marks, then Tesco, then Kwik Fit to check tyre pressures, then home. I was done in and had to have a buggy in Tesco, there was no way on earth I could have walked another step.
Hi Joan, well the car was the cleanest on the row, not quite as she was, after our trip out to Skipton. Pouring rain and mucky lorries.
Take care in the winds and snow, best stay indoors me thinks.
Glad things were not has manic as you thought Kerrin. Table tennis, instead of outdoor tennis, aw, we love our tennis, sadly I cannot play any more, but we watch every ATP tournament from now until year end and beyond. Love it.
I love snow too, but not if we have to try and get out and about in it. I would be in northern Norway at the drop of a hat, forests covered in deep snow, proper snow.
We have not had a really bad snowy spell for a few years now.
Hope the Rheumy has been back in touch with you, to discuss your bad headaches (((())))
Oh, you were in Bucks, not Scotland, very nice none the less Mig. glad you had a lovely time.
Springer Spaniels are really bouncy and raring to go aren't they. Full of life. A lovely name too. The kiddies will have great fun, racing about with him. Tire them all out so they sleep well
Kath, you have set the benchmark for Hares now. I will take a picture of the painting my late dad did of a sitting Hare, he was a wonderful artist. Everyone wants Hares now
So the tuna was purloined by the puskins, they are naughty. Quite how they get into those pull lid tins, I have yet to work out.
I like Salmon too, but the cats won't go near it.........fussy or what. Tuna is my fav though, mixed with mayo, black pepper, dried coriander, mango chutney........oh it is yummy.
When is the next trip out and about Kath? Take care in the bad weather.........we should all stay in until after the week end lol
Hi Barbara Glad you had a good visit with your niece, I know she cheers you up and helps a great deal. Good to put the world to rights, (takes some doing these days).
We lived in France for 5 years. I had one of my many angiogrammes, then had to go for nuclear tests on my heart (that was horrid). Same hospital, they were very good indeed, as was the GP. I remember the Drs at the hospital saying "now, no more smoking" Then when you went outside, they were all out there puffing away, lol.
IT is nice that we have things to treasure, we don't have a lot, personal things and small items are cared for greatly.
We might try a different coffee emporium today, it is right next to Sains----, years since we went in there. If the weather it windy, it blows a gale at the G center.
Hi Carol oh dear, Chickenpox, not nice, but it will soon ease I am sure. Glad that other family members are improving and little baby should be ok, as you say.
You did very well to wait three weeks, it was a national countdown. We were all very excited for you.
Good that you have worked your way through the list of people to inform, naturally they all want different methods and copies etc. It would never be easy and all ask for the same would it.
I am setting like stone, so I will have to move. Another tramadol me thinks, neck is super bad at moment, naughty bony spurs. Grrrr.
Love to all who are busy about, everyone take lots of care and keep safe.
XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning everyone. A little later as have just had my monitoring blood test. Moves to monthly now. Still not heard from rheumy nurse, will try again today and leave the school number, not in class most of day so that might be the best bet.
I'm a tennis nut, or so OH tells me. I'm a tennis coach and played competitively until Feb last year when my fingers said no more. Now I just teach the kiddies to play and occasionally play mini tennis with them left handed. Had to use my fingers quite a bit yesterday and paying for it today.
Chicken pox is doing the rounds at school. Quite a few kids out with it.
My kitties love tuna and ham and milk and ............ yes they love eating as much as me!
Any bus journeys today Kath?
Toni, hope Lucy's scan goes well, and that you are able to stay with her.
Time for school, have a good day.

I am NOT setting foot outside the door. Not while there's one snowflake on the weather map. :?
My hares came from a beautiful gift shop called Ashley Peake. They also sell resin ornaments. Hares don't actually live in warrens Aidan. Mum makes a nest called a FORM where they give birth to one or two Leverets. They occasionally move them from time to time, for safety's sake."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

I don't blame you one bit Kath.
I knew about the leverets, but not the warrens, thanks for the info I have only ever seen one in all my born days, jumping up and down in a field.
