That is Daisycat!!
Great smilies thanks
Leverets eh? I learned something new there thanks Kath.
I will get some hares I will when I do I'll post you a photo.
Mig I will be right behind you with the diet. I have put a few pounds on too...I think it's my age :cake: not cake no not cake!!
Barbara hasn't Christine got family visiting?
Glad your son was over and 9 0'clock is perfectly civilised for being in your dressing gowns
Joan - Cris skezier has a springer - they are ad as hatters!!
Kerrin you have company on here I always watch the tennis as does Aidan. Well done for coaching kids I hope you've heard from Rhuemy nurse now.
I did post this morning, but a power cut lost my post - the weather I presume ::)
All went well at the hospital CT was quick and painless journey wasn't!
I heard you under the cloak whispering and some chirruping and the smell of tuna!!! hehe!
Will try to catch up properly soon.
Love
Toni xxx0 -
I seem to be running out of hours in a day - was watching the story of Adele that we had recorded at Christmas, love Adele..........
I hope everyone is as ok as possible. I am not sure how far I will get reading back.
Kerrin you coach tennis, that is wonderful, I bet you miss playing competitively, I know I would. But you are still in the mix, which is good.
Your kitties love tuna too, oh dear, we will have a mutiny on our hands, what with Pepe and Daisycat as well.
Good that your blood tests have moved to monthly and I hope you are feeling better than the other days.
Hi Joan, I would not dare go out on my buggy in bad weather, it is not an all weather one, even though it would be ok in the rain. Take care and keep warm, both of you and of course the lovely doggies. I hope Sue is feeling better.
Hi Barbara, I see you have been running out of mornings, lol. Glad you enjoyed your visit with your Niece.
Yes, our dentist is wonderful, I have been going to the same one since 1989, so I know the surgery well.
NO HARES, sorry, I was shouting. Take a peek on Ama--- or Eb--, there are armies of them. They are really popular. I did say I would take a photo of the painting my Dad did, promise I will do it tomorrow.
Oh yes, we had a time and half in France, I have thought about writing a book of our adventures and never got around to it.
That's fine, being in your dressing gowns. Our neighbours often pop round in their PJ's, lol at all times of the day. I make them sound like Onslow, and his Wife in keeping up appearances, but they are not, at all.
Christine I hope you are ok and enjoying your family visiting. We are missing you.
Well done Mig, I hope it goes well for you, a lot of people find it very helpful and have great success, my nephews wife has lost 2 stone and she has some yummy meals.
I need to loose some too, I am ashamed.
I see you lost your post Toni, grrrr. I thought you might get a whiff of tuna, lol. Glad that the CT scan went ok, they are usually straight forward. So the journey was not good, lots of traffic?
Yes, we have the qualifying from Sydney at the moment and then the Aust Open from midnight on Sunday............then the whole year is mapped out for us :animal_busy: watching tennis
Pepe is all but sat on my knee, waiting for me to move and go into the kitchen.
I will say n night, hi to Elizabeth, Christine, Carol and all. Hattie is on tonight, with Charlie.
Everyone take care XXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Aidan is Charlie still planning his wedding to Duffy? I bet Hattie had some advice
I will indeed have a look on Amazon or ebay good idea!
Something happened on the M6 on the way up so the road was at a standstill. Did not move AT ALL for about 55 minutes. So were 'late' as you can imagine. I rang them as soon as I realised we would be, (we were set to be 45 minutes early!), and they were lovely and squeezed Lucy in later on
:animal_busy:
That is so Daisycat!!
See you all later

Hello Barbara Kathleen Aidan Mig Toni and anyone else I missed.
Barbara you go carful if you have snow. I hope it will miss all of us.
Kathleen I don't blame you snow is alright when you are young.
Aidan I hope you have a good day today. you go careful in the snow if you have any it's so easy to loose your balance without snow.
Mig i'm sure you will reach your goal. have a good day take care.
Toni i'm pleased the scan went well. i'm glad they could fit Lucy in
it was not your fault. I bet your home will look lovely with snow over it. yes I remember Cris has a spaniel how is she doing. take care all of you.

evening all...no snow here for the min but we have had sleet...
Kath you stay put ..I love snow when it first falls but going out is impossible...I will have a look at the site..
Toni maybe you are right about Christine ..i read things then turn around and they have gone... :? :? oh poor you that the M6 for you...must say we live not far away but even away form the motorway the traffic can be bad..think I have been late 3 times...
Aiden I will have a look on amazon now why didnt I think of that..we will all have a warren at this rate or whatever its called ..I didnt know that duffy was marrying Charlie or have I got that wrong has well...we watched the Adele story..I love her ..she was so young when she started singing and has always reminded me of.Amy winehouse suppose they are from the same part of the country..
Joan we dont have snow yet they did say tonight so might get up to it in the morning..you be careful
Mig good luck at slimm*rs world my niece goes there and has done really well..think I had better join you..
The man is coming next week to fit the new fuse board then look at the wiring in the loft..he say some might not need replacing..we know him well and he has been an electrician for over 30 years so we trust him..
keep safe and warm everyone xxxxxxLove
Barbara0 -
Thank you Joan we are so rarely late.
You know what Cris is like - always overdoing it with her animals
Barbara - not a lot you can do on the motorway when something happens. It was only a broken down vehicle as far as we could see!
I have been on ebay and oh sooooo many hares!!! All adorable and some leverets too
Should I go for a particular make??
Love
Toni xxx0 -
A late evening, early morning and a nice covering of snow, looks beautiful, but I will err on the side of caution when we head out to the G Center today :?
Toni I am sure Charlie will be sorting out the wedding, but, he is not one to rush, to say the least. I think Hattie gave some very sound advice,
Oh, stuck on the motorway for 55 minutes, I would have had nightmares. The main thing being late, neither of us can stand it, we would rather be an hour early, than 5 minutes late. I bet you are the same if guess correctly.
Glad you have found the Hares and Leverets too, no, no particular make, buy them all lol.
I think there is a liking for mayonnaise, the jar seems to be going down very quickly and it could not possibly be us. I guess that Miss Slimkins and Pepe Poo, have been trying some with the tuna and have taken a liking. I will have words with his Lordship.
Hi Joan I will be very careful today, I am hopeless in snow, bad enough, as you say, with a level surface, let alone a white frosty ramp. OH will throw some salt out, first thing. He fell really badly on the ramp a couple of years back, went with such a bang, broke some spindles, hurt his shoulder. If I went down I would be through the decking and we are quite high up at the front.  You both take care too. Keep warm. At least the howling winds have stopped, but it is very cold.
Hi Barbara - hopefully you don't get any snow, we had sleet, then next time we looked out it was a winter wonderland.
Kath was talking about the hares, they don't have warrens, but I guess we could have a cafe full of hares, a hafe', very French. lol They are very on trend at the moment, cards, notelets, you name it, hares are on it.
Adele was so young. What a meteoric rise to super stardom within 10 years. All credit to her, she writes from the heart, would LOVE to go see her live, but any tours are sold out in seconds. She was inspired by the Spice Girls as well as Amy Whinehouse (such a shame she took to drugs and passed away, she had a fabulous voice).
Good that you have a time served electrician assessing your wiring. Plus, if you know him well, even better.
We have had an at home day (Thursday). Hair cuts ( I am still a salon junior, after 17 years ) Washing, drying, usual home things.
OK, I had better move, hi to Mig, Christine, Kerrin, Carol, Elizabeth and all. Everyone take lots of care, lots and lots. XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning everyone.
Had a bit of a drive home last night (20 min journey took 60)in the snow and then crashed early (into bed, not the car) Train surprisingly running this morning although the car park and platform was a bit of the ice rink.
Have just discover my fingers don't like the snowy weather. They are quite achy this morning, not helped by having to chisel through a layer of snow that had turned to ice on my car this morning.
All this talk about Hares, might have to investigate.
I too hate being late. And get really irritated at school when it doesn't bother some staff members and parents. Especially when I have to cover them.
Have a good day everyone. Mine consists of a meeting, office tidying and admin, and taking table tennis team for a match.

Kath those starling were so beautiful thank you for the link and the hares bounding through the snow too
I took some piccies this morning of the village in the snow, but sadly it was already thawing
The Church opposite
One of the public footpath stiles
and near the gate of the Church.
Joan did you say you have no heating again?? Please layer up and keep warm ((())) I have been out with my special ice shoes.
Kerrin I feel the same. Some of us get to work come hail or shine - others look for any excuse to stay in bed!!! I am proud of you for getting in.
Rest up over the weekend.
Aidan you are so right - we are so rarely late and usually sat outside early or having a cuppa in the café.
I rang them from the motorway when the appointment was still over an hour away so they knew we were genuine.
I hope your snow has thawed and you have been able to get up to the garden centre?
Are you saying I can have any of the Hares? I will probably avoid the boxing ones though it looks a bit sad
Our mayo has been disappearing at a rate on knots too :? I wonder....no circat training today due to inclement weather
I hope that your apprentice-duties went well and you got the odd couple of quid in tips?
Right onwards and upwards!!
Love to you all
Toni xxx0 -
Glad you liked the links I sent Toni. Your photos look wonderful. I half expect to see either Jane Austen or one of the Bronte sisters to appear.

I loved them Kath. Our wildlife is amazing we are so lucky.
It is like that here. I try to walk if I can every day even just a little bit. Today I had to put on my spikey shoes to get out at all!!
We have a magazine here and I might offer u some of my photos for inclusion0 -
Afternoon all I have to laugh at all the hares..we could start a club...now I have just finished the Ferraro Roch** so I can start my diet next week...method in my madness.. :bee:
Joan you poor things wish that we lived nearer OH would get your heating going..I hope they come soon..and the snow clears then you can get out...
Toni I love the pics snow does add to the picturesque feeling ... hope all is has they expected with the scan results and the op is still on for the 23rd..I think I have that right...wish it was even sooner for Lucy sake...
Aiden I am all hared out with ama*on cant wait till my wiring is done and the wallpaper is up..then I will choose one..we had snow then sleet then snow this morning at around 4..got up at 8 and most was gone..no way can I walk in it now..I have my ice things that go over my shoes but it has to be really icy and not to thin..if you get the jist or they hurt your feet...
Kath I really feel for the people on the East coast and hope the floods dont appear..will go and have a look at your lins ..there was a program on the other week and the starlings wer amazing..
Kerrin glad you got home safe and sound and good for you getting into school....you be careful...
Like I said the snow here soon disappeared..so quite nice in the sun wrapped up that is.. :sun:
Love to everyone xxxxxxxLove
Barbara0 -
Barbara I am so glad you don't have lots of snow
I think it might have to be compulsory to have a Hare if you are a café dweller!! He hehe!!
Yes it is the 23rd, but a disaster has happened!! Lucy has got a sore throat and slight temp. She never has a temp unless she is going to be ill.
Worry worry. I am ringing out of hours at 6.30. Can't risk her getting ill like my friend did having a GA having had a minor cold :?
Love
Toni xxx0 -
Oh Toni...I will have everything crossed that Lucy temp goes down very soon..its all such a worry for you...hope tonight you get some sleep..you and Lucy...xxLove
Barbara0 -
Evening to all, Toni, Kath, Joan, Barbara, Kerrin, Christine Carol Elizabeth Mig and all...................
We did venture out in the snow. It was not too bad walking down the ramp in fresh snow, it is much easier than trying to walk on compressed or icy snow. OH did all the clearing and scraping of the car, while I supervised from inside, with the seats heated Well, you have to have someone in charge of demisting the interior.
The garden center was ok, the worst surfaces were round the disabled parking :? But I managed to tippy toe like a big Ninny and made it inside, the lure of a scone, was spurring me on.
Hi Kerrin, I thought you had crashed the car  but it was you crashing into bed. The UK is not geared up for snow and everything seems to grind to a halt.
We could live in Norway, they seem to keep the roads clear, even when there is 65 feet of snow
No, fingers don't like snow and icy cold, especially if you are clearing snow and ice. Warming hugs ((())) Hope you day of meetings, admin and tennis, went well.
Joan, we live in the Ribble Valley in Lancashire (which used to be in North Yorkshire) they say we are half in Yorkshire, half in fairyland - don't ask me why :? :? If you Google, Pendle Hill and Clitheroe, that will give you some nice pics of where we are.
You have no heating oh my goodness, I hope you have some other heating to fall back on, to keep you warm. Do take care. No, no scooters out in this weather, far too slippy.
The birds and hares are wonderful Kath, thank you for sharing them. That poor Raccoon Dog too and the cat that was attacked by those thugs.......... People are so cruel.
They have evacuated lots of people, due to the impending super high tides, I hope it is nowhere near as bad as they are expecting and people are safe and their homes, not left in a horrid mess, it must be dreadful.
You take care too Kath.
I did promise to post the picture that my late Dad painted, it is a water colour he did, of a famous painting. Sorry about the reflection in the second pic.
Toni, the pictures are wonderful, you expect to see someone from Dickens or the Bronte's to walk down the path. Snow is just wonderful, if you don't have to go out. You do right to wear the spiky things on your feet. We need all the grip we can get.
No, Lucy must not have a cold, cough, chillls or any other bugs that are doing the rounds - extra strength vibes coming your way to ward off all fevers.
Yes, you can have any of the hares and yes, there are SO many to choose from.
So, your mayo has been going down, mysteriously. I think we have two culprits, no, not you and I, Missy Slimkins and Mr Pepe Poo.
Circat training is off until next week, too cold now and too wet on Sunday.
No, no tips in the tin from my apprenticeship, but I don't do a bad job at all
Did someone mention Ferrero Ro----? Well, it is only right to finish them Barbara, rude not to.
We could have a hare club, indeed. I see you are on hare overload from looking at Amaz--, but good to know you are going to choose one when the wiring has been done. Kath, you have started a real trend.
I understand those ice grips that go over your shoes, they can be very dangerous if you put them on indoors and have wooden or tiled floors. I would be like Bambi on ice.
We have just had another flurry of snow, not a lot, just like icing sugar.
I hope the out of hours were helpful Toni, we don't want a GA with any lurking infections.
Carol, Mig, Elizabeth, Christine, I hope you are all ok and taking care.
This has taken me an age to write, I have been so busy looking at snow and ice hotels and wildlife it is nearly one in the morning.
Everyone keep warm and safe. Nurse Gladys is on tonight, with Dr Cameron.
XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
It was well worth the time you took Aidan
The Hare watercolour is fabulous no wonder it has pride of place at home What a talented man he was.
Today we should be nipping up to Eccleshall to see an art exhibition...The landlady of the shed
We have more snow here ATM although I doubt it will stick as it was raining earlier.
Funny you should mention it, but Mistress Sleek Slimkins did rather have a messy face the other day.....mayonnaise colour even. She said that Pepe poo had alleged it is 'high protein' and 'vegan' :?
Those spikey shoes could do serious damage indoors for sure, but they only slip on over mine so easily discarded.
Wise to let OH do the snow clearing and it's good to get out if you can every day. I wish I'd seen you tippy-toeing!!!
Lucy you and Barbara wanted to know. Well I got her to out of hours, but after checking over she did the usual virus...thing. We just have to hope she gets well very soon :?
Nurse Gladys has looked after Lucy well for me
Lucy's temp almost righted itself with lemsip Barbara so I just hope it stays down and whatever is wrong it goes very soon.
I wonder how Joan and Sue have been coping in this weather with no heating ((()))
Take care everyone.
Has Elizabeth been on Facebook? I just worry about her a little :?0 -
Hello Kathleen Toni Aidan Barbara and anyone else I missed.
Kathleen the video's are lovely. I hope you have a good weekend.

Oh dear Toni, I do hope Lucy stays well. Happy thoughts and much love heading her way.:o

Aidan, your late father was a brilliant artist. The hare is beautiful. I've never been a trend setter, I rather like it. My favourite books were the Little Grey Rabbit series.

Afternoon to all, hopefully the snow has gone or is melting away, with rain on the cards for tonight and tomorrow.
Glad you liked the painting Toni and Kath. We have quite a few of Dads paintings, I gave some to my Cousins after Mum and Dad had passed away, the rest we have and are either on the wall or tucked up safe in the ottoman.
I hope you enjoy the art exhibition Toni, landlady of the shed, oh yes, the meeting place, I remember now.
Pepe has been mentioning mayonnaise and how it is high in protein and omega 3, therefore it is essential when training as hard as he and Miss Slimkins do. :animal_busy:
No, you don't want to see me tippy toes on ice, it is not graceful or elegant in any way, shape, or form.
Stopping in today, fussing and pottering, washing and the like. Boy do I know how to have fun.
It is one of those days where I could easily fall out with myself, I am sure you know what I mean, when things irritate you, for no real reason, not OH or puskins, just stupid things really. :? I will be better after a nap I am sure.
It was wise to take Lucy for a check up, another virus, the I don't know virus, it has been around for years. Glad her Temp has come down with paracetamol. Hope whatever it is, vanishes quickly.
Nurse Glady's is wonderful, she is staying on over the week end and George will be in tonight and Sunday. Healing hands  :?
Joan, I hope you are keeping warm. I hope you have hot water and electric heating to keep you from getting chilled. Warming hugs for you and Sue and the lovely doggies.
There is a lot written about Pendle Hill and its infamous witches, who were tried and hanged in Lancaster, poor things. They were herbalists really, but at that time, such things was deemed as witchcraft.
Well, there you go Kath, you have set a trend. Glad you like the painting. It is on the wall over my computer, another one over OH computer, a woodland scene.
And you have been on the bus into town, way to go Kath. Did it involve a wee bit of shopping, maybe a cuppa and a cake.
Sweet, the little grey Rabbit series.
It is fairly quiet in the cafe, so I have had a whizz round with the vacuum and feather duster, topped up the cake tin, filled the coffee machine and the T urn, fed Cuddles and Marigold and Yack (although nurse Glady's had been looking after them too). Fire is banked up, ready for the evening chill.
Hi to everyone who are out and about or busy with family friends etc. Take lots of care, time for a cuppa here. T at 3.

Evening all the snow soon went and the wind died down today has been quite nice
Aiden I adore the painting..you must be so proud of your dad..I cant get over the detail on the hare..I do love art but am rubbish at painting but like going to exhibitions specifically the norther artist ones..glad you managed to tippie toe to the garden center..silly not to clear the disabled bays..we were very impressed with one shopping place nearby....they had cleared the snow and then salted..not like last year...
thanks for helping with the ferrero Roc*** much appreciated ..boy do I wish we had heated seats in the car ..does anyone else find that these modern cars takes ages to warm up
Toni I am so happy to hear the Lucys temp came down..I said a little prayer last night..the waiting is the worse..but wont be long now...Did you get to the exhibition...
Joan I was worried about you and Sue last night with no heating..hope it is fixed soon...
Kath you really have started something.. and you went shopping on the bus..I am so pleased...and bet you are...
Love to everyone...xxxxxLove

Hi There Barbara - thank you, Dad was a great painter, he also made a lot of furniture, did wood carvings, was a stone mason, a type set printer, a watch mender, calligrapher, played the piano, not to mention being a Vicar - not bad for someone who had been written off by the Drs who said he would not live to see 50.
There is a lovely art gallery in Skipton, I dare not go in or I would come out with half the shop and needing a mortgage :? I do look through the window and do lots of pointing, then we have to walk away lol.
Glad all your snow has gone, same here and it has been a bright day, raining now.
No worries helping with the Ferrero's, tbh they are not my fav, but I will never refuse one, when offered.
I quite agree with the cars taking a while to heat up, not sure why, our is on auto climate for most of the time, so it does it's own thing. The heated seats are very nice I must say, toasty warm.
I have been worrying as well about Joan and Sue having no heating. We always have two electric convector heaters plus the electric fire / log burner lookalike, in the lounge, just in case the boiler has a dicky turn.
We all have Lucy in our prayers.
Mum n Dad have gone to Huddersfield this week end to see my B and SIL, they are back tomorrow.
Pepe and his Mother are on the back of the sofa, we have a cushion in between them, so they cannot make eyeball contact  Mother cannot stand her Son at all.
Better move, I am about to set. Everyone take lots of care XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning!
Raining here so Daisycat is swearing quite badly
Joan thank you Eccleshall is lovely and the paintings fabulous I hope you and Sue are warm enough. Lucky it's mild this weekend.
Kath there were two paintings of HARES!!! I might invest in them Well they'd be prints.
Those books were lovely. Have you read the Velveteen Rabbit? It is a wonderful story
Aidan - it is STILL raining here so feel a day inside might be in store for us today.
I hope you have woken in a less irritable mood today and you got through yesterday in one piece I really did want to see Bubbles-tippy-toes honestly!!!
Fabulous to hear Mum and Dad have been off visiting! She is doing so well
Lucy is ok although I think the snotty bit has arrived My friend made me laugh (the nursey wife of the one who had her op the other week at the tail end of a cold ending up with a chest infection). the called the Dr Nasty antibiotic-police!!!
We are getting immune to them though aren't we?
If she's not much better tomorrow I will have to contact our own GP though.
We ended up having a surprise evening out last night - off for a curry with the shed 'Landlord' and his artist wife. Very nice though I am full up even now!!
Barbara if you can spare them please keep saying little prayers for Lucy I need her well for this operation. Thank you for thinking of her.
ALL of you ((()))
I did go to the exhibition and already said she had two paintings of Hares. I might be after them
My car, a Juke warms up pretty fast, but Paul's transporter van sooooo cold!!!
Brrr!!!!
What a day still raining here
Onwards and upwards for me I think
Love to everyone
Toni xxx
PS I think Christine should be around soon and maybe Elizabeth too????0
