Exactly what I hoped Aidan :)

Nice to have visitors though and something you enjoy to watch on telly :)

Kath you have to have your turn at feeding the babies fair's fair :D Those tapirs love to be stroked.

I hope all is well with you?

    Barbara
I have been pottering too, went for a cuppa with another lady in the village - retired teacher who has several cats!! She could be a mad cat lady, but she's clean and her cottage is fabulous. Yo should see her garden. Both hers and the BBQ one yesterday have hot tubs!!

I hope it was a meningioma because they are usually slow growing and benign. I am just glad all is well :)

Joan We all agree about empty houses then! If they filled them there would be less land used, but that wouldn't mean extra money for councils would it?

I am so unimpressed with your housing association  They need to sort your boiler out ASAP grrr!

Took Charley and her pusskin to the vets this morning she has an allergy called EGC and has to go on steroids bless her.

Right better go and check Lucy is ok in the shower.

Love to everyone I hope you are all ok

Toni, glad the singing went well. They actually moved the gas pipe so hopefully have reinforced it. Problem is, if it does blow again, it could damage my house, the local primary school and care home. The builders usually give the council a lump sum which is supposed to be for roads etc but they often don’t use it for that. Then, of course, there’s the council tax. I started feeling last year that my boss might start trying to reduce my hours further. One of the reasons I’ve been doing some courses, hoping to maybe use them to get other work. I’ve been for a wade in the pond and cleared out some of the old leaves but decided to leave the irises as I spotted frog spawn in there. Poor Charley’s cat. Hope the steroids help.

Joan, it’s shocking that your heating isn’t working again. You should be able to turn it down without it breaking. I think your appointment is tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

Barbara, good that you are reporting the people who block the pavement. Much worse if you don’t have a pavement on your side. I’ve worked in the same place for coming up to 17 years now so it makes me feel unappreciated. I won’t be able to claim anything extra. I do get a bit of housing benefit but can’t get anything else.

Kath, the town where I go to Tesco have new houses and some of the streets have grassed pavements and some people park their cars completely on the corners. Some people have planted shrubs in the grass and put big rocks around to keep the cars off the grass but it means there is no chance of wheelchairs using the pavements even if there are no cars. Hope you enjoyed the cuddles and got your lavender pats.

Aiden, you are so busy at the moment. Don’t worry about us. As long as you are ok.

I called in to Aldi today and bought some tomato plants and some runner bean plants. I should have sewn the seeds a while ago but didn't. Forgot to tell you, I bought some polarised sun glasses from there last week for £3.99. They are much better than the ones I bought for £30 from my optician. I watched a programme not long ago and they said the cheap ones were just as good as long as they had the proper label on.

    Evening to one and all
finally a little time to ourselves, before the next run of family visiting. That sounds horrid, but I don't mean it like that, just get tired, too quickly.

Oh Joan, this isn't on at all, no heating again and you were lucky with the injection. By the time they are done sorting it, they could have fitted umpteen new boilers. Grrrrr. It is getting cool again at night this week, so you need to be warm. we will be there today when you have your cast removed and dressing changed. Hope all goes ok XX

Toni the wisteria is just wonderful, one of my all time favourite plants - it was abundant in France, walls covered in it, so beautiful. We have on in the garden, but after 7 years it is yet to flower :(

Screened windows, yes, we have two of them, cat proof and bug proof as well, ideal for letting in the air, whilst keeping out the bugs.
I am sure Pepe can read the serial numbers, he is doing ok at the moment, eating most that is put in front of him. Maybe one sachet a day is refused flatly. I think there was a visit today, there was a favourable wind, to aid Miss Sleek on her broomstick.

Bless, Barbara is a love for keeping the bottles full for the babies, that are still the same size as they were when they arrived, as if by magic :) Constant cuteness, that's what we like.

BIL and SIL were fine, they came round for T and cakes on Sunday, with Mum n Dad. They didn't stop too long, enough time for a catch up and natter. Admiring all the work that B has put into the garden.
Tomorrow, other BIL SIL and their two teens are coming, they live in London. We are all going to the GC for brunch, which will be nice. Then I think Mum n Dad are going home for a nap and everyone else will come back here for a cuppa and more nattering. They are up for the rest of the week, in a static caravan, on a lovely park about 30 minutes from here.
    It's all go.

So you were singing in the choir for the first time, Palm Sunday, how lovely, I have not read on, but I am sure it went very well. I still have one of the palm crosses, from many years back, hidden away.

Hi Christine, that's a bit off, not matching the minimum wage, is that allowed? just a thought. After all the hard work you do for them, it just doesn't sit well.
As you say, just before jetting off on another holiday, that I can imagine would be costing a tidy penny.

Yes, two choccie oranges, (they are getting smaller, I think Barbara has a liking for them :lol: )

Yes, i will have to pick a new hat for Kerrin's wedding, well, if everyone else is, I am too :) A nice trilby - then again, maybe not, I would look like Uncle Fester.:lol:
We can always get the bus, Toni has the keys and is in charge of driving - I will sort the cakes.

Houses are springing up everywhere, today we saw a field with planning for 35 more houses. It all makes more for the councils, with the tax etc.
All our little villages will merge into one at some point, I am sure. Hopefully by then we will have won the lottery and will be on a little island off the west coast of Scotland :) If we buy the island, even better.

Glad you had chance to spend some time in the garden, pottering.
Was there anything in your wellies, not spi**** I hope

Hi Barbara, much cooler today, which I don't mind. I was getting a bit warm at the week end, we are both allergic to heat, so we need a happy medium of about 16 degrees and a gentle breeze, all year :) That would be fine.
Are you seeds all planted and ready for germinating? We all love wild flowers and we need as many as we can get, with all the loss of natural meadows.

Oh, rats up the wisteria, oh my goodness, as much as I love them I would have had it chopped as well. I don't do rats, mice, etc. Eeek.
I keep looking at ours, but I think the buds are leaves and not flowers. One day.
Glad you enjoyed the car boot, the meal out and the very good news about your friend.

Oh Christine, fancy them building on a no build site, with a gas main that has already gone BANG before. No, you are not going on at all, I am with you all the way, fill the tens of thousands of properties that are lying empty.
The pies sound good, what are they, veggie or meaty.
Good finds at the charity shop too.

I see all went well at the Church Service Toni, that's good to hear.

No I would not want to be on that estate either, with the potential to go up with a bang.

Sounds like you have the same feeling about Christine's Boss as I do. Hence the reason I said things don't sit well.

Hi Kath, I hope you are feeling not too bad and you enjoy your cuddle fix, we all need a cuddle now and again, it is good for the soul.
Help yourself to lavender pats, always fresh ones every day

Oh, a mad cat lady, lol. Glad you enjoyed a cuppa and a natter. I think we would be the mad cat men too, but I am too house proud to have any more than three, that is more than enough to cope with. Her house sounds lovely. Hot tubs too, very nice indeed.

Hope Charlie's puskins is ok on the steroids, should settle things down, they seem to work very well in pus cats.

Hope Lucy was ok, shower wise and was it the physio the other day, I am loosing days here.

I read that they moved the gas pipe Christine, but now you are more at risk, along with the school and care home too. Goodness. I guess we all rely on these pipes doing their job, beneath us and all around us. Scary thoughts.

You have done the right thing with your course work, more strings to your bow, should the need arise. 17 years is a long time to be working for them and then to be slapped in the face so to speak. Annoying and upsetting too. Sending extra hugs.

So you have been wading in the pond and there is frogspawn too, how lovely.

Beans and tomatoes too, you will be busy with all the plants and flowers.
Bargain sun glasses, yes, if they are polarised then they are all the same, mostly you pay for a name put onto the frames.

We went to the Range today, with Mum n Dad, bought a hedge trimmer, some craft things for OH, few more bits and bats, had a cup of T, not coffee as that is  not nice there.

Came back home and went to Costa for brunch, yes, emmental and mushroom toasties, lemon muffins and proper coffee :) sorted.

Then shopping, then home, then it was the day over with after we had our naps. Start again today..............................

I am stalled with pompholyx at the moment, every finger is pin holes and peeling, splits all over and that's with the creams umpteen times a day   it was nearly gone last week. Wonder if it a bit stress related......will have to investigate. Oh well, onward we go.

I have to move, back is squealing at me.

I hope everyone else is ok, Mig Kerrin Carol Elizabeth Charrisse and all.

Take care. Lots of love XXXXX Aidan Good-Night-Friends-HD-Quality-Cute-Wallpapers-free-download.jpg

    Afternoon all
Christine I do think they should help people that were willing to work and on low pay..both Labour and conservatives said they would ..but it doesn't seem like it..the mindfulness course you took seems to be everywhere now..I had never heard of it..so hopefully you will get a job in it..your boss would be furious if they lost you..nice to get the pond all clean ..I do miss mine ..we filled it in when Niamh arrived..
Aiden dont you worry about not posting when you are busy or reading back just so we know you are ok..chocolate oranges I did get carried away..there is something really satisfying..tapping them and watching the segments come apart ..the trouble is they stuck together..seeds have been sprinkled..thats what it said on the box..I hope they grow..we have a range nearby...and I do like a trip around there but need the chair..you get the trilby and I will get a very wide brim hat to hide my face.. wedding here we come..wonder if kerrin knows..
Toni glad that Charley cat got the steroids I do hope they work..the cat lady has dont well to keep her cottage nice and clean..and the garden wounder if they will let you take a pic..I don't want an hot tub.. prefer a swimming pool :) says me who is not good in water ...
Kath has the same prob pavement parking ..we even get the police doing it around here..not good when you have to try and glide sideways..

    Afternoon all :D
Yesterday I had an awful day with my back and after a very restless night and lots of meds (at regular doses of course) I managed to get it fairly under control so I could go to my knitting group although I was only able to stay for an hour but I did have a good old natter which helped me forget about the other for a little while.
However much better today and just taking it easy and doing a few odd jobs.

Toni How did you make the mesh window covers? I bought some that were put onto a tape that was stuck to the window frame but one slight wind and they fell off and I do hate all the creepy crawlers coming in.
Glad that the singing went well .. very therapeutic apparently .. something I would love to do too.

Aiden the wisteria certainly is beautiful .. such a sight for sore eyes!
I love to go to Costa's for their cheese and tomato toastie plus a latté .. delicious.

Christine your boss has a real cheek making that comment to you about minimum wage .. trouble is he no doubt thinks you are stuck if you don't have the job .. been there done that and got the T shirt! Hope you manage to get something else soon.
Hope you didn't find too many spiders etc. in your wellies and the cleaning out of the pond was successful.

Joan Ooo! injections! your very brave .. I don't know whether I could do that  .. and as for the heating? .. I don't know what I would do without it myself.. about time they fixed it for you!

Barbara Car boots do make a nice outing .. glad you enjoyed it.
I used to love going and many a good bargain I've bought .. used to do them myself but the price for a plot got very expensive by the time I stopped.
So pleased that your friend is going to be okay .. long may she continue to be so.

Dachshund Charisse is not my real name .. just in case you thought it was .. but it is a lovely name and that's why I chose it :P

All the best to everyone and have a very good evening :sun:

Afternoon to all, thought I would grab a moment to say hi.

We had a lovely brunch with family, then everyone popped back here for a little natter. Then BIL SIL and kids went off to do their planned walk round one of the local villages. They are always busy doing something each day when they are up here.

So, quiet afternoon, no, neighbour popped round for a natter, so that took over an hour or so, then her OH popped in too.................quiet afternoon, huh. I was going to sit and write at 2pm and it is now well gone 4.

Joan, I hope everything has gone ok at the clinic, we were there, but there was a fuss under the cloak, with pepe and diddiat thinking that the clinic floor was ideal for sliding on. I see that you have been and and the plaster is a wonderful colour of mauve :) Can you weight bear a little now? Glad the housing assoc agree that you need a new boiler. About time eh

You help yourself to the chocolate oranges Barbara, I don't mind at all. They do melt rather nicely..............mmmmm Tap and unwrap, then scoff :lol:
I had to go round the Range in the wheelchair, which was a little bit narrow, or was my bum too big   no, it was definitely the chair that was small :lol:
I can only sit in a wheelchair for a relatively short time before my back starts screaming. We saw everything though.

I am not sure about a hat, maybe if it is summer time, we will need big parasols to shield us from the sun, we will melt otherwise. We can hide under them. I hope Kerrin doesn't mind us inviting ourselves along. We had better ask nicely :?

Oh yes, we need a full sized pool, with people to assist us in and out, those pools that you walk in as if you are walking into the sea, they are fine, no climbing steps etc. Beach pools, not cheap, but when we win the lottery tonight, we will be getting one I am sure.

We used to buy eggs for nieces and nephews, but not now. What on earth happened to the ones you got the other week, someone must have stolen them, how terrible.:lol:

Hi Charrisse, yes, it is a lovely name, good choice. Glad to hear that you have got on top of the back pain a bit now. It is horrid, I and many of our friends here can sympathise fully. Good that you managed to go to the knitting circle too. Nice to have a natter and a little distraction.

You can put mesh up with super strong double sided velcro, ours is attached to a plastic coated grill, that fits into the window opening. We have had them made out of wood, or, you can get them made to measure, out of aluminium, but they are expensive and then some.

We used to like car boots, but getting up so early is a no go, I cannot function at all, at unearthly hours. Those toasties at Costa have mystical powers, as do the muffins, they call to you, well, they call to me, lol.

You have a good evening as well.

Hi to Toni, Kath, Mig, Carol, Elizabeth and all.

Sorry, cannot type any more at moment, fingers are too sore and splitting.

Sorry Aiden I went to read back and see that your fingers are very sore again..it does sound nasty...I hope the creams will work longer this time..less typing I prescribe till they heal..(()) and yes the range is quite narrow to get around..big bums are in ...
Charisse we have always said we would like to do a carboot..but the getting there for 6-7 is not good..sorry you are suffering with your back..distraction is so good and is a good natter..hope it eases for you x

Sorry to be late in had another very busy day today. A bit better tomorrow I think :?

Aidan rest your poor hands let them heal ouch ouch ouch!!!

Chairs are too small in the range for definite it's NOT your bum!!! Perish the thought!

There is so much wisteria in France - the aroma!! Maybe I should grow some here??? Will I live long enough??

Of course Miss Sleek has been over bless her. She was trying to get help getting her collar off  the cat lady gave me cat tuna for her to try....what do you think?? Passed on to Charley's cat who loves everything and her steroids can be hidden in it too.

I am sorry Joan for any scuffling under the cloak when you had your cast re-done  It was the cats they loved the shiny floor :? Also they both wanted to agree on the colour :) I do hope they are going to finally give you the new boiler you have needed all winter

Charisse I hope the back eases off soon it's horrible isn't it? ((())) at least you got to the knitting group if only for a while it will have done you good :)

My brother makes me a wooden frame and I staple on the mesh then add some adhesive Velcro and they are sorted :)

I chose Frogmorton out of a book. Not at all pretty is it

So I need to sneak a photo of the cat-lady's house do I Barbara? Leave it with me on my next visit. She is a lovely lady like Cris so I liked her straight away :)

Best of luck with your seeds :) GROW seeds grow :)

I think I'd rather have a pool too.......cooler in summer.

    Christine
good job they moved the pipe but not good everyone else is in a degree of danger now :(

Doing the courses is very wise and might just come in handy if the boss is up to something. I just have a feeling about him.....

    Time will tell.

Surely you could contact a cleaning agency see if there is any work going?? You have years of experience with their family.

I need to get in our pond soon you never know I might get frog spawn one day :)

My tomato plants are about 5" high now I managed to plant them in time and they are hardening off now in the greenhouse. I can't wait for fresh tomatoes can you? :D

I need some half decent sunglasses I might nip to Aldi if they are so cheap.

Right best get ready for bed it's been a long day.....

Phew, I remembered to copy my post as I took forever to write it and got logged out. Was watching One Born Every Minute.

Aiden, hope you manage to rest up a bit before the next round of visiting. I do get more than the minimum wage but its been getting less and less. I think next year it will be the minimum. My boss doesn't have to pay me any more but with bills going up, it means I have less left at the end of the week. So Barbara has been sneaking away your chocolate orange. You'll have to get another one. I think you definitely need a hat. I'm sure a trilby will look very good. Unfortunately, one of our villages and the next town are being joined up as we speak. Two thousand houses so far being built or passed and more plans going in. Nothing in my wellies. I was quite surprised. Was sure there'd be something. My pies are steak and ale, chicken and chicken balti. They do a good turkey one with cranberry
but not many people want them other than at Xmas so they're not doing them at the moment. And they do a cheese and leak one. Sorry you're bothered with pompholyx again. You have been very busy so maybe it is stress related.

Joan, you had your plaster changed today. Hope it's healing well. They're waiting for yet another part for your boiler. If they keep going, it will be a new boiler. Fingers crossed the housing association will give you a new one this time. Have you seen the advert for tomato sauce with all the dachs dressed up as hot dogs?

Barbara, you're right. If I left, my boss would be stuck. A few other ladies I know who do the same as me said they wouldn't work for that amount. I think he'd struggle to get anyone. I remember you filling your pond in. It was a shame but they are a danger to little ones. My GC only seem to spend time here when the weather isn't good enough to go in the garden. My pond is tiny and only 4 inches deep (is that a pond or a puddle? ) and is raised up by about 18 inches and surrounded by plants so not easy to get to. That's a thing. Has Kerrin invited us or did we just invite ourselves? :? I've seen the police park on the pavement. What chance do we have if the police don't abide by the law. Oh dear, first Aiden's chocolate orange and now the Easter eggs.

Oh Charrisse, your poor back. Glad it is behaving better today. It's good to have something like your knitting class to distract you. I feel I am a bit stuck in my job. I stayed for so long because it helps me to get some exercise and I am allowed to work more or less my own hours as long as I do the agreed amount. Not sure if I could get another job, never mind one that let's me work when I want to. Did you manage to escape yours? No spiders in my wellies. Not even a web which surprised me.

I've only gone and bought more ice cream. I'll never get in to my bikini at this rate. The men are coming first thing in the morning to put my new window sill in. They said 9 am but last time they turned up at 8.15 am so no lie in tomorrow for me.

Hi to all, I cannot resist a little type. I have my diprobase pump dispenser at my side and am applying it every 10 mins to wage war on the pomphy - grrrrrr OH has banned me from pottering at the sink, which is very difficult pour moi.

Hi Barbara, that's ok then if big bum's are in vogue,:lol: I was somewhat "wedged" and had to be prized out  :?
Thank you, I am slathering creams and lotions and will soon be on top of it, again.
It is such a strange thing, you can go for ages with say, a bit of dryness on your hands, which is kind of normal for everyone, then, little lumps pop up, then blisters, then areas of skin will peel off, all within 24 hours.......crazy.

We have an indoor car boot every week end in Clitheroe cattle market, it is quite big, each stall has a cow pen, it is mostly under cover and the place is a little whiffy, as you can imagine. we went once, that was enough.

Hi Toni, I thought you might be in later in the evening. I think Barbara and I have decided it is a big bum that caused the wedging into the wheelchair.:lol: I know, it's hard to take, lol.
oh yes, grow some wisteria, will it flower, who can say, they seem to have a mind of their own, it was all over the place in France, I was SO jealous, it used to flower twice each year, just to rub salt in it.

Pepe never mentioned that Miss Sleek had been over and there was no evidence of collar removals. We did try the cat tuna once, they all ran a mile from it, so we didn't go down that route again   Kind of the cat lady to let you have some. Charley's cat will be the test.

Pepe said he liked mauve and I think Miss Slimkins liked it too, very regal, with a modern edge :) We do need a picture of the cat lady's garden / house, when you are nearby and no one is looking. Mind you, a small village, there will be eyes everywhere :? 8)

So you are heading off into the pond soon, you can borrow Christine's wellies, there were no lodgers in them, thankfully. Mind, yours seems very deep, so a wet suit might be needed and a snorkel.

Mmmm fresh tomatoes, they are so so different when they are home grown. Mum and Dad used to grow them and ended up with kilo's of them, we were always coming home with bags full. They are very good for you, lots of lycopene. We always have tomato puree on our sandwiches. Worth googling, very interesting anti oxidant.

Love to all, hope Lucy is ok and doing well with the physio.

Hi Christine That was lucky, copying your writing before you were logged out.

I understand about your wages and the cost of things going up, my how the prices are rising, way above inflation. I hope your boss has a pang of guilt for what he said about your wages.

I think we will have about 2000 new houses in and around the town, all adding to the services that we use. When you think on average each house will have three to four people, two cars, children of all ages.
The pies sound very good, I will take the veggie one please.

I think your pond is still a pond, Toni's is more like a bottomless pool, who knows how deep it is

I have a feeling we invited ourselves to Kerrin's wedding. I am sure she won't mind, we will be very quiet and with such big hats, you would not know who was under them :lol:

More ice cream, that's fine, you can never have too much, well, you might get visitors so you need lots of it, just in case. I will get another chocolate orange and hide it :lol:

Hope the window sills are soon sorted, everything will look lovely then and matching too.

Right a little potter me thinks. More creams to go on.

Everyone take care, hi to those who are not in at the moment.

Morning Aidan we have indeed invited ourselves to Kerrin's wedding :)

I have got the bus in for a service so it's pristine and I was hoping someone will decorate it with some ribbons so we can go in style :)

Lucky for me my hands probably flare up once a year you do have a hard time with it :( ((()))

The cats were trying to get the collar off and failing abysmally - hah! Pepe has been learning to ride pillion on the broomstick. It's take off and landing which trouble him most. He shrieks a bit...I expect you know the sound??

Big posteriors are indeed very fashionable - the famous even resorting to surgery to achieve what nature gave you so be proud :D

If Charley's cat does not eat the cat tuna I would be very surprised indeed  She's certainly not sleek

I googled lycopene - very interesting indeed!

Lucy is doing well thanks allowed on the cross trainer now as well as resistance bands.

Christine well-done you for saving your post :) Wen I first came on here I used to do some longer posts on word and then copy and paste it over, but I don't get logged out now. Is there a box which says 'keep me logged in'??

My pond is deeper than that but as you know was totally choked. I got ride of loads, but more to do this year to make it useful for wildlife. :bee: Nothing scary in your wellies excellent news :)

The boss used to pay above the odds then, but is gradually decreasing the amount to only just legal. Poor you and bosses wife too.

I am sure there will still be families in need of help like yours, but sometimes it's maybe better the devil you know??

Those pies sound fab. I'll take two of the cheese ones please before Aidan has too many

I'm not even attempting a bikini    it would be a public order offense

I got Ben and Jerry's for Lucy the other day and some vanilla to make her thick milk shakes, but not so much as a lick of the spoon (yet) :)

    Must get some work done.

    Love

Morning all, yes, me, here in the morning :o On our at home day, not seeing anyone today, closing all curtains, lights out, no one in, lol.

Hi Toni, I think the bus was in need of a service, so that will be a good job done. I am sure we can all chip in with the bunting and balloons etc for the wedding venture.

Hands, yes, they are being a pain, literally. My diligent efforts with diprobase is paying off and I am down to one split finger end now, just don't want it to peel any more, so will keep up the lotion applications.

Glad to hear that Lucy is on the cross trainer, I remember them from my gym bunny days. They can soon work up a sweat.

So Pepe has been riding pillion on the broomstick, I have heard a loud squeak, but thought I was dreaming. I think they were out earlier this morning, in the rain. He woke me up doing his morning wash routine, more than likely after a whizz round the block with Miss Slimcea.
He is keeping his claws needle sharp, which will be needed when Missy Sleek puts her paw down on the gas.
I do know that shriek, very much so.

So Charley's puskins is not sleek and slim like Diddicat then, with a none fussy nature, the weight will go on.

That is very true, big bums are in, when you glance at the tabloids, there are a range of so called "celebrities" with their posteriors looking the size of a gable end. No need for any lifting or the like here.:lol:

Lycopene is very interesting, hence we like to eat it as much as we can. Tuna will be on the menu for sandwiches this lunchtime, so there will be some noses in the air I think. Plus they can hear the tins opening. I am very lazy I get the drained tuna, I cannot be doing with oil spitting out over the kitchen.

I thought your pond was a lot deeper and very overgrown. I am sure it will be lovely this year :)

Did I eat all the pies  thankfully no, there were some cheese and leek ones left. They are very good.

I am not attempting a bikini either :? :o:lol: I will go for the Victorian bathing suit, that goes down to your ankles. Mind you, I will still be wobbling about like jelly on springs.

You have Ben and Jerry's and not even a taste, you have done well. I would have to taste a little, just to make sure it was safe to eat :D:D

Hi Joan, good that you can weight bear a little now, steady away, a little pottering, then rest. hope the pain is not too bad.
You are right Joan, we need more room when we have arthur, that's for sure, especially in loo's, must be a disabled facility or I won't go. I need room to throw my crutches, bags etc.
Glad you like the tales of Pepe and Diddicat.
I expect nearly every bit of the boiler has been replaced, at double the cost too. Crazy association managers.
Love to both and the doggies too.

It is wet here as well Barbara, but we did need a shower, to water things a little.
It is quite chilly as well. The other day I was glowing, now I am turning the thermostat up.

That's great to hear you know of Clitheroe car boot sale, it does whiff doesn't it lol.
The sink ban has not lasted, my OCD would not stop me from having a cloth and hot water. But I am putting the creams on every time I have been in water. They are a lot better than yesterday, thank goodness.

I guess the shops will be busy, people will be panic buying for Easter, as the shops are shut for one day

Well, I had better move, it is afternoon already.

Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Mig, Kath, Charrisse, Elizabeth, Christine and all. Will pop in later. All the babies have been fed, they are under cover, with heat lamps on, a bit chilly today.

    Take care XXXX Aidan

Evening I know iv'e been missing for a few days. and my what days they were. what with one thing after another causing problems I am sick to the teeth with broken on delivery sofa beds, computer screens freezing, internet playing up , colds, coughs , hayfever, and overdue blood tests causing repeat prescription this month to be rejected by surgery. mobile phones not ringing when sorting these things out and to top it yesterday a delivery that I had no idea was being delivered so we were not in was left behind garden gate , which we can only access from outside so not secure place really. Stop ranting Carol and breathe :lol: talk about mad. :x :x :x I am beginning to wonder why us I feel as though I want to scream the amazing thing is that we didn't end up having rows as is the normal the only bad vibes was Monday lunch time when Mr turbo was having nightmares with his laptop and I was on my way out and as I went to say something which he rolled his eyes at and told him not to look at me like that that and he yelled at me to get out so I did but later he met me in a little café we often go to for lunch and apologised which shocked me   think he was feeling guilty :D for yelling all is ok between us now .

Hope you have all been reasonably well and have had reasonable weather we went out on Saturday afternoon and spent the afternoon by the river the sun was glorious and it was hot 24 degrees centigrade. really enjoyed it.

hope all the puskins and animals have all been behaving themselves have not been able to read all the comments since I was last on yet but will get round to it.

love to all will pop in soon. :bee:

Aiden, I do hope you are doing as you're told and keeping away from the sink. Hope it's easing off a bit now. It sounds like such a nuisance. I've twice planted wisteria. Both times it grew well for a couple of years then died. One veggie pie on it's way to you. Just read, you have been in the water with your cloth. Hope it isn't making things worse.

Toni, yes we will have to get the bus decorated. Ribbons and bows and posies. Lovely. Sounds as if Lucy has upped her exercise. Well done to her. I didn't think of looking for a 'Keep me logged in' box. I'll have a look next time I log in. Be careful when doing your pond. Maybe wear scuba diving gear. Two cheese pies on there way. I've sent Aiden one. There are plenty to go round. It has become a bit of a habit of mine to open a new tub of ice cream when I get it home and have a spoonful, just to make sure it is ok.

Joan, things must be a bit easier now you can put some weight on your foot. Do you think you will get the dressing off altogether next time?

Barbara, I think most people would hesitate to try a balti pie or pasty but they are delicious. Hope the shops weren't too much of a struggle but I suspect a lot f people will already be stocking up ready for Easter. A little bit of rain here this morning but quite windy this afternoon.

Carol, what a lot of things going wrong at once. Sounds as if OH was stressed too. And he apologised. What a surprise for you. How lovely sitting by the river in the sun.

The men came and had my window sill in place within half an hour. Guess I'd better call in to the bank in the morning and ask them to pay them. I had been wondering what I could spend the money on instead. Sorted out some of my wardrobe this afternoon and put big jumpers on the top shelf and summer things lower down all ready for summer. I've just watched Pride and Prejudice. Aaaaah, Mr Darcy.

    Morning all

feel a prize idiot this morning at just after 5am this morning I fell out of bed  with a crash i'm ok but have a bruised elbow and my right calf feels a bit battered but no bruise yet. certainly was a rude awakening  and all I can say is wooden floors are jolly hard think I gave mr Turbo a bit of a fright. needless to say I was wide awake then so decide to get up anyway knowing I would not go back to sleep. when it happened I know I was dreaming an in the dream I had rolled out of someones way and I suppose I was already on the edge of the bed so off I went hence the reason for feeling a prize idiot.

Christine yes definitely a lot of things going on especially over the last 6 weeks or so as mr t said last night the start of it all was having to have our Snowie put to sleep at the end of February since then it has been one thing after another life is not treating us very well at the moment but we will come out the other end at some point and sooner rather than later I hope. it was lovely down by the river on Saturday I must admit.

well must go as it is nearly breakfast time as mr turbo has just got up. and because my moility is no good in the morning he usually dose the breakfast.

Christine I ate both cheese pies in one go and have belly-ache now   Lovely ta!

Ok when the bus gets back form it's service we can decorate it :)

You've had no luck with wisteria? Oh dear well I have been waiting all my life for a house to stay in and take the time to grow some so I'll try fingers crossed :)

Shame you had to pay for your sills really a window should come with a sill :x

Well done Carol to Mr T for managing to apologise - not an easy thing to do. Paul is the same with all thinks technical. He expects ME to fix them!! ME??

Delivery errors all over the place for you. I'm not impressed is that the 2nd broken sofa bed? Get that blood test done it's too close to a bank holiday to be without your meds :?

Most of all great no arguments :) and a lovely time out in the sun :sun: All animals are well and as cute as ever. No need to read back so long as you are ok.

Look AFTER yourself!! Last time I fell out of bed I must have been about 3!! It was a dream I see. Hopefully you are ok.

Aidan I can only do about 5 mins on the cross trainer I think my brain is wired wrongly :?

I am very pleased to hear your hands are on the mend for now. I agree with OH the sink is the worst culprit.

Yes Pepe is keeping his claws long for holding on bless him and does shriek a bit, but apparently he is starting to enjoy himself now. they have gone no further than Skipton so far, but give them time ;)

Charley's cat is certainly not sleek or slimcea oh no :? She liked the cat tuna and wants more

Victorian bathing suit for you? hat as well? Charley had one as a wee baby blue and white striped :)I would like a retro one myself VERY high waisted!! Big bums indeed are very trendy so we are just ahead of fashion that's all.

Oh I never thought to check the ice cream was safe :? I shall taste it in my duties as official poison tester from now on

The babies have remained under cover, but I've changed their bedding and done the morning feeds :) ahhhh :D

Hi Barbara - it rained at the end of yesterday here and probably not for long enough, but the moles liked it and bot is banked on a huge hill. Will deal with him in a mo.

I am glad to hear your rear is fashionable without the need for any surgical enhancement!!

Yes the lady was lovely very kind to animals and tolerant of the frightened feral ones. Luckily one or two are actually hers as it were

Joan 2 weeks is it? Let's see what the consultant has to say I hope it's all healing well and he is pleased with you :) Be warned Diddicat and Pepe might just pop in to see you when Pepe is less nervy about long journeys

Right must get on - Drs this morning :(

    See you later

Hi Toni yes i'm ok just a couple of tender areas where I hit the hard floor, to be honest felt a bit of an idiot 69 years of age and falling out of bed whatever next he he but as Mr T said it could have been worse taking age into account and I agree.

no it was the 2 from the same place. 3rd sofa bed the last one from a different place it wasn't broken but had problems with the screws to fit the legs on but mr t has sorted it out now and the 3rd one is ok and he is getting his money back from the broken one within 5 days so that's good.

yes I was surprised :o mr t apologised to be honest because usually even when we have got over it I always still get the blame of course I think its just a man thing.

as far as the meds are concerned I managed to get them cos when the dr checked. I had the blood test done on Monday so she has given them to me now after talking to me and doing my review over the phone. so now just waiting for the results back and then see doctors to see if I can stay on the water tabs everyday again so keeping fingers crossed for that result but that is not until the 24th as could not get one earlier. hope your Drs appointment goes ok.

think I had better move now and get a shower and get dressed after all I have been up for 4 and a quarter hours. hehe

Evening to one and all -

Oh dear Carol, I think we need everything from lavender pats, to arnica gel, reflexology, aromatherapy and relaxing sounds in a luxurious comfy room. You have been having a bad time, no wonder you were cross, never rains lest it pours, but, at least you didn't have a big fall out at home, which is on the positive side.

Then I read you fell out of bed, hence the arnica gel supply. I hope there is not too much bruising, I bet it was a rude awakening. I have a grabber rail that goes under my mattress, I am sure it has stopped me from falling out a fair few times.
Coughs colds, internet going haywire, computers with gremlins. You just rest and I will put the kettle on and make you a nice continental breakfast, served in a lovely garden room, with wide open views of the countryside.

Good that you managed to get out and enjoy the fine weather by the river.
Sending extra hugs and good vibes.

Hi Christine, well, I am not doing too bad, I cannot keep away from the sink, I would have to be chained down. Fortunately we have been out with family until t time, so that has kept me out of the washing up bowl
The splits and pin holes have healed up, thank goodness, being diligent with the diprobase certainly did the trick. I just have to keep it at bay now, pain in the proverbial that it is.

Wisteria are a bit funny I think, they take a long time to get established, ours is in a half barrel, which is probably not the right thing. We have had ones that did well for a year then poof, gone. When we win the lottery we will buy a house with one that is flowering, but not high enough so that rats can get in   :o That would freak me out.

Thank you for the veggie pie, very nice indeed. Of course you have to check that the ice cream is ok, it is health and safety to do so, regularly.:lol:

Glad to hear that the windowsill has been put into place and all is well. Now you have to pay them, that's always a pain. Sorting out your wardrobe too. I need to sort mine, half of it doesn't fit anyway, so might as well go to the charity shop.

Hi Toni, well, you will have belly ache if you have eaten all the pies that Christine sent

No going on the cross trainer until those pies have been digested, or there will be a wave of nausea  I could not even get on one now, let alone coordinate which way up and down. 5 mins is excellent. I could never get the hang of them at the gym either, I was like Bambi on ice.

So, the puskins have been over to Skipton have they, I shall be asking his nibs about his ventures. They will have to fly to the top of Pendle Hill and take in the views, he would shriek then !!:lol:
So Charlies cat liked the cat tuna, must be good then. I assume there is a little excess weight being carried. Bless.

Pepe is pretending to be asleep on the sofa, but is peeping and listening.

Yes, check the ice cream, we don't want any reports of it not being up to par.

I have looked in on the babies and they are all asleep, I have put the lamps on, it is chilly out there again tonight. In fact I have been frozen all day

Hope all went ok at the Drs. Hi to everyone and to Miss Sleek. Hope Rev Delhpine is doing well, it must be choir practice soon, is there anything extra for Easter Sunday, there usually is, as I remember.

Us men are strange beings Carol, I quite agree.:lol: :? It was good that apologies were given, good too that the sofa bed is ok and money is being refunded on the other one.

Good that the meds are back on track after the review, I hope the blood results are positive and you can stay on the water tablets, which I am sure are helping.

Hi Joan, good to hear that you can take some weight on your foot, take care though.
My hands are a lot better now, just have to keep on top of the creams. Sadly I cannot drive any more. I had to give up my license, due to all the medication I am on, back spasms, neuropathy, etc etc. I would be a complete disaster.
Hugs to you, Sue and the doggies. Hope you heating is working ok.

Hi Barbara More Easter eggs, very nice, I have no idea why they speak to you, they would do with me too. I allow myself three squares of chocolate in the evening. Believe me I could hoof down the whole bar and more besides, but I don't want my blood sugar to go up above normal.
Biscuits talk to me too and scones shout at me to eat them, so I do lol.

There is an Auction house next to the cattle market, that has weekly auctions and then once a month does quite high end antique auctions. We have not been, I would want to be waving my paddle all the time.

It has been winter today, we went over to see other BIL SIL and their two teens, who are staying over in Tosside, at a lovely park, they hire a big static van. It is only about 9 miles from here and a wonderful drive across moorland and through the trough of Bowland. We are blessed to live in a such a wonderful area.

I thought I won't need a cardigan, so just short sleeves and a light fleece jacket. Well I was frozen bow legged. They even lit the wood burner in the pub, to keep us warm, poor Mum was perished too, she looked tired today and is loosing so much weight. Bless her.

Your friend needs to be seen, if there is sickness, which could well be part and parcel of her diagnosis. There are lots of drugs that can be used to treat symptoms, even if they cannot do anything physically. Sending her lots of blessings.

Right, I had better move. I am setting. Hi to Mig, kath, Kerrin, Elizabeth and anyone else who is not around at the moment. Our thoughts are shared far and wide.

Everyone take lots of care, n night XXXX Aidan
