Aiden, Pepe's coat looks beautiful and soft. And lying there waiting for a brush. Your mouse plant is doing really well. We used to get privet from other people's gardens too. We'd walk past, check no-one was looking then pull a few sprigs off the hedge. Naughty but I'm sure they didn't miss it. My mouth is just a little achey when I yawn, otherwise fine. Yes, the dentist did have the tooth out before I knew it. Hope you enjoyed your time with aunt and uncle.
Toni, the cat collars cost a lot. Hope no more are lost. How lovely of Lucy to help and very caring too, not mentioning her shoulder and hip so as not to scare the girl.
Joan, sorry you are in pain. It must be frustrating having to keep your foot up. Is it next week you get the dressing changed.
Barbara, I feel the months are going way too fast. Only seems like a couple of weeks since Xmas. I find some bus drivers only look about 10 years old. That sounds good having two surgeries. Ours is so full now and going to have a few thousand more on their books soon. We'll never get an appointment. Hope you managed to sort the world out with your niece.
Charrisse, lovely to see you in the cafe. The kettle is always on. Sorry to hear you are struggling with your back. How lovely getting together to knit for charity. There's often a lot of talking going on in here so don't worry if you can't catch everything.
Elizabeth, you're having such a bad time just now. So sorry you missed the wedding. I don't think there is much communication sometimes in hospitals. Hope you manage to sort things out and get your appointment.
Kerrin, nothing wrong with a zombie day. I quite often have them. So glad you found your wedding dress. I use photobucket for posting photos on here. Sign in, upload picture, copy link and paste here. Look forward to seeing it.
Went in to work today and found 2 huge piles of clothes waiting to be ironed. My boss's son had apparently picked all his clothes off the floor eventually and stuffed them all in the 2 big wash baskets and left them for his mum and dad to wash. As they are all off skiing tomorrow, my boss's wife asked to to just iron. Only got half of it done in 4 hours so you can imagine how much there was.Christine0 -
A late good evening / early morning, to all. Yes, I forgot to post a good night picture, memory like a sieve
Oh dear, Miss Sleek didn't mention her collars, she said to Pepe that she didn't have to wear them. Telling porky pies me thinks.
Pepe has been super fussy over the past few days, I must have thrown so many sachets away, reminding him they are prescription ones and come at a PRICE.....sorry, shouting there. Do they take any notice, do they buffalo.
His ironing board gliding went with a bang, when he fell off, but he was soon back up and chasing from one end to the other. Crazy cat. We will enter him into the world gliding championships.
We did keep away from Mark's, we never even went near the car park. Well, OH did, only to drop Uncle off and pick up a bag of cakes from Auntie.
The tails are ace on the mouse plant, I love them to bits, they are such curious plants. Come autumn, the leaves all vanish and there is nothing but moss.
Stick insects I can cope with, did you mention the unmentionable spi---s  it won't be long before they appear again. :?
I think we are all in labour, waiting for April to give birth, I am sure I had braxton hicks contractions
I am sure you are still on a high and deservedly so, with Lucy's good news, 4 Consultants, that's some going. As you say, when an appointment is looming, but then good news comes along. I am still trying the star jumps.
Hi Joan, I am sure your foot is painful, I hope you get some relief from raising your leg and with pain killers to help as well. Sending hugs, not long until they change things and take a peek at the progress. Love to both
Hi Barbara the weeks and months are flying by for sure. pepe is quite at home on the ironing board, it has to be brushed and de haired after he has been gliding along it.
We should be "open all hours", well, we are really, it would not be the first time we have had neighbours here at 1 in the morning, for one reason or another, usually a drama of some sort. We usually calm troubled waters and offer our advice.
Oh dear, the GP looking about 10, I think the same if we ever go to hospital, like are you old enough to be a Dr? I think it is a sign that we are getting a little older.
I hope you enjoyed the time with your Niece, I know she always cheers you up. Putting the world to rights is a great thing to do. There is a lot to put right at the moment. Our Niece has not been over for a long long time, I natter to her on FB sometimes, but we have not seen her or her partner in ages.
Hello Charrisse lovely to meet you and a huge welcome to the cafe, you will find it a wonderful place to spend some time. You will soon pick up our crazy things we talk about. Everything is always friendly.
I am sorry you have such a lot of trouble with your back, you have our sympathies, truly. Sending a big hug your way and looking forward to your posts.
Hi Kerrin, oooh, the dress has been bought. I am sure it is beautiful. It would be nice to take a peek
Sorry you have had a zombie day, I call mine, hitting a wall day, but I guess they are similar. I hope the swimming eases things and you can rest well. Naps are good, we need them, people don't realise just how draining OA and RA is. It is not just one symptom, by any means.
hi Christine - Pepe is so soft, like rabbit fur, you have to keep brushing them, or they get into knots and getting them out is a major operation  requiring full body armour.
I am glad I was not alone in borrowing privet from other people's hedges, lol. Glad you mouth is not causing too much trouble, healing well. Maybe we can move on to trifle
There are so many new houses in the town, I am sure our surgery will be under strain within a year or two, when the new houses are all built and occupied. It is ok at the moment, but, there is a finite number of people that they can give dedicated care to.
There must have been a mountain of ironing, goodness I could not do 4 hours, you did a sterling job. Do you get some time off now that they are going away skiing. I hope they paid you before they jetted off.
We had a nice meeting up with Aunt and Uncle, in Nero's. It was not really busy at all, even with the school holidays. Lots of coffee, a wonderful spinach, ricotta and spiced pesto croissant, (toasted), followed by gorgeous carrot cake. They have a whole new range of foods and it all looks delicious.
Auntie had baked a lovely Easter cake, plus two chocolate oranges, (which OH doesn't like, so someone I know will have to force themselves to eat it)
We were back home by early afternoon.
Off to the GC this morning, to meet Mum and Dad, she has to have her dressing changed on her thumb and her warfarin levels checked.
Right, this time I won't forget to say n night properly. Everyone take care, love to all and to those not in the cafe at the moment. XX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Aw Aidan such a sweet ickle fwuffy kitten
Throwing good money in the bin was he our Pepe? Tut tut  Miss Sleek said the vet puts yukky stuff in according to him?? Inadequate supplies of tuna. Did she really fib about having to wear collars? I think it's the bell...it scares the prey away
Indeed the gliding is spectacular - and the 'falling off' was a new trick he is 'practising' how very dare you!!!
I have seen 2 unmentionables already. They are leaving evidence too I live in fear....
Sounds like a lovely visit with Auntie and Uncle the food sounds lovely as does the cake. Shame about the chocolate oranges!!!
I hope Mum's thumb is healing well and her INR is as it should be
Christine the new girl with leukaemia is already 19 so should be safe enough not to get the bone issues Lucy, (she was 16), has had hopefully and anyway they have enough to worry about don't they?
It's the tags that cost more than the collars. One day I'll find a stash of them somewhere
Naughty son of the boss. Lots of ironing for you to do and washing for parents to do so close to going away  kids eh? even big ones
Oh Kerrin!! Well DONE finding a dress even if it was pricey. You deserve it please please to a photo
I hope your batteries are full(ish) again now.
Elizabeth I am so sorry you are suffering so much. It's stupid that you might be lost in the system because you were too ill to get from one department to another!! Gosh it PROVES you should be priority!!
We have all been thinking about you and worrying that you were suffering.
It's not great being stuck upstairs too much...and missing the wedding? I do feel for you.
You don't deserve this :x
I hope the kids are all behaving and helping you where they can ((()))
Charrisse welcome to our café. Please do come along in and have a cuppa. The kettle is always on and I do a rather good caramel macchiato too there is usually cake on offer which being virtual is calorie-free!!
It sounds as though you do a fair bit. I also have back issues and had surgery about 14 years ago on it.
We are a genuinely friendly bunch and won't be offended if you can't pop by regularly just pleased to see you when you can get in.
We have assorted animals in our own homes; mostly cats and many virtual ones here. Lambs (including the 5 legged one) and tapirs, a cow and some adult sheep. Reading that back I think we might just be certifiable!!!!
Barbara our surgery has 2 other sister branches, but I have never tried them. Drs are getting younger for sure
I am sure your move was the right one.
I hope and am sure you and your niece had a good chat and cuppa or two
Yes Naughty Pusscat loosing her collars. the tags really put the price up, but that's what they need them for!! She is chipped, but only a vet can read it.
AW Joan It's boring having to sit with a leg up isn't it? You have to have everything nearby within reach!! I am sure the pain should settle soon. I think Lucy's pain wasn't much worse at night, just that no-one else was awake so it felt worse?
Physio this afternoon.
Must get something done!!
Love to Kath, Carol and mig and anyone else we haven't seen lately.

Hello everyone. I spent most of yesterday asleep. Not sure if I have a cold, or it's side effects of my new BP tablets, or perhaps I have fur balls. Pains are all gathering again as I am almost out of Oramorph, so I've been using it sparingly. I hope I get a new bottle today or I shall be tempted to double my patches over the weekend.
I've had a few cuddles and lots of stroking with the various pets. I didn't know we had a cow. Is she a good milker?
I think these 3 cuties might want some cuddles."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon all quite cold out..the same yesterday...
Had a lovely time with my niece thankyou..think I have said before she had her son when just 17..and is still with his dad 16 years later....and she is an incredible mum..he is a lovely young man..
Aiden chocolate oranges are one of my favorites.. so I will help out with them..the ironing board is a good look out point in case others creep up... things ar getting really busy today ..you would think the shops are clothing for a week or two... you enjoy the GC with mum and dad..and a proper coffee...
Kath hope you can get hold of the Oramorph..if not maybe the patches will work, but if I double them up I feel sickly..might just be me....some gentle hugs...(())the pics lovely just like Joans doggies..
Toni its good to know there are the xtra surgery's...going off the papers today there is a massive shortage of GPs..I have noticed the cats next door have collars one min and none the next... hope the physio goes ok for Lucy...
Joan I am glad the pain eases when you have your foot up. it will stop it from swelling to much and that can cause pain..so you had
trouble posting..glad its not just me..
Kerrin..you bought your wedding dress.. bet you cant wait for the big day..we have a bus ..just in case we all have an invite.. a pic would be lovely..
Christine that is some pile of ironing ..though mine was bad..you must have been so tired of it..this GP situation is getting really bad...like you say with more on how will you get seen..its a big worry of mine has we get older..we have many houses going up at the bottom of our RD..so suppose ours will be the same very soon..
Right I will go on the look out for orange eggs
Some more hugs for Elizabeth hope things improve very soon..(()) xxLove

Evening to one and all - a pleasant day, but is has gone chilly tonight, so heating back on.
Wasn't the little puskins just adorable Toni, I could not resist
Huh, I was nattering to the receptionists at the vets, who know pepe well, telling them he was being uber fussy at the moment. She said, ignore him and he will eat it. He agrees with Miss Sleek, that Royal Canin put nasty things in it.
I duly paid a small fortune and came away with another couple of boxes.
Yes, she said she didn't have to wear collars, they are getting to be a pair of tell tales. Miss Sleek has told pepe were the collars and tags are, she has a stash of them apparently. He won't tell me, despite butter and mayo bribes.
Of course the fall was intentional, just to show his landing skills, post glide, a bit like the beam in pawlastics. Silly me, thinking he had slipped off,
It was a good visit with Auntie and Uncle, they were both doing ok. The cake is in the fridge, ready for Sunday, when Brother and Sis in law come over to see mum and dad, they will pop in here after lunch and devour goodies. Of course the chocolate orange is not for sharing, even among family.
Mum's whitlow is all healed now and her INR was excellent at 2.2. Dr was very pleased with her and she looked brighter today when they met up with us at the GC. She is one strong lady.
I am sure Lucy's kind words with the girl who has leukaemia, was very welcome.
hope physio went ok in the afternoon, with continued progress and increasing movement.
Oh dear Joan, you are having the gremlins in the system. I have had that a few times, it is a windows thing, that decides that the page has to close, I swear these computers have a mind of their own.
I hope your foot is not too painful and you can keep as comfortable as possible with it elevated and with pain relief. Sending hugs to you, Sue and the lovely doggies. We will definitely come with you under the cloak, when the cast comes off.
Hi Kath, you have hair balls, oh dear. A good cough and one might pop up  Out eldest puskins is a champion when it comes to fur balls.
I hope you are able to get your oromorph before the week end. Nothing worse than trying to eek something out, that is essential to your pain relief.
Sleeping is fine, we need to catch up when we can sometimes. What are the BP tablets you are now on, nosey aren't I, sorry, just being nursey.
Plenty of cuddles and stroking of babies in the petting corner. Oh yes, we have a cow, she has been here for a long time now. Marigold is her name. We also have a Yack, cuddles the cat and the new babies of course.
Those three cuties are so lovely and indeed, need to visit, for some serious petting. They do look like Joans doggies. How lovely.
Hi Barbara your Niece is a credit, being so young when she had her child, but all seems to have worked out ok and so glad that they are both happy together.
Ok, I will share my chocolate oranges, I relent It was busy out today, the GC was very busy, they were racing around, everyone seemed to arrive at once. We managed to get our fav table, nearest the coffee machines, so I can just smile and another cup appears
Sainsbury's was busy too, I think the forecast for good weather has sent people into a frenzy. We will not be going out over the week end, we need some at home time.
No neighbours visiting today, nice and quiet, well, reasonably so, everyone seems to have the gravelling bug, we must have set a trend, there are deliveries left right and center.
I was reading that there will be a shortage of 45000 nurses, by the time we exit the EU, in 2019. Sounds a bit dramatic to me. I will have to be coming out of retirement. I think the papers love to over dramatise things, just a TAD.
Terrible news for the poor people in Stockholm. We really are in troubled times. What with more terror attacks and US bombarding Syria, Russia getting all jittery and sending warships into the Med. Very concerning.
Well I had better move again and potter a little. Love to all, Kerrin, Mig, Elizabeth, Charisse and all. Enjoy the sunshine, I will be in hiding, being wrinkle phobic and prone to melting.
Love to all, take care XX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning everyone Very icy this morning and the bot is grounded over by the hedge. Will deal with him later - or rather get Paul to deal with him
I have to make my scarecrow soon...... they have to be up by the 1st May  We will be in Tenerife by then too
Aidan Eric Catona had the kidney diet and I remember him muttering about Royal Canin. He left a list of dos and don'ts for her with the starter for the broomstick etc. I imagine that info was in there. She rereads it a lot.
I am very pleased you now recognise the 'fall' as his Pepe's beam practise for the Pawlympics
The vets don't have to put up with our blatant and stubborn pusskins refusal to eat the stuff!
The kitten was indeed adorable, but the sunset last night was very pretty too
Mum has done really well with that thumb and INR on target too. She is indeed a strong lady Good to hear Auntie and Uncle are doing well today and the cake is stashed. As for the chocolate oranges  No way should they be shared, savoured with a cup of tea ALONE!!!
Times are dreadful - what consequences of America's bombing I wonder. We shall see :?
Barbara maybe it's all the kids breaking up and parents panic-buying for when they are off. Ours broke up yesterday.
Your niece and her OH have done a great job sticking together and bringing up a lad at that age They deserve your praise.
So the collar business is going on in your 'neck' of the woods too I think it's the safety clip which is easy release so they don't get strangled by them.
Kath - I'm glad you found Marigold yes she's a great milker - help yourself. She used to make lavender pats for anyone who struggled to sleep or you can slap one on an area of pain??
Cuddles the café cat is around somewhere too. I have bottle-fed all the babies this morning and let them out into the petting area it's such a nice day. Those puppies are like Joans!!!
Why no arrival of oramorph? have you chased it up?
Joan that is good to hear if the pain goes off when it's up. Tuesday isn't too far off is it?
Love to everyone who hasn't been in and extra ((())) for Elizabeth who is having a really rough time ATM.

Morning all ..lovely and sunny out there.. :sun:
Aiden you do make me laugh ..there is a bit of Skeizer (Cris) in your post .. love the cat stories...glad to hear that mum is doing ok, the whitlow are very painful so she is well rid..I have noticed how fussy next doors cats are one min they will eat it the next they turn up there nose..OH says leave him he will eat it if hungry...no he wont.. yes we live in bad timers I worry for al the young ones of today..I am old enough to remember the cold war..and how relieve we were when it didn't happen... thank you for sharing the chocolate orange that must have been so hard,...nice to get your favorite seat in the coffee shop...a smile goes a long way...
Toni you have ice...it was cold here yesterday but no ice thank goodness..the pussykins don't like this diet do they..think Eric set the standards for this....do most of the village makes scarecrows I love to see them...bet you have fum making it...and then off for your well earned break..
We are still trying to get someone to refit the carpets after the electrics..I think its this time of year everyone's so busy..our eldest GD sent a pic of her rota..for the next 3 days..7am till ten pm...she has done quite a few ..they are so short staffed ..no wonder..
Hope everyone has this sunshine and good luck on the national...if you place a bet that is..my late dad used to put us one on when we were little..
Love to everyone xxxxxxxx

Aidan I'm pleased your Mum's whitlow has gone. I hope they have a good weekend.
Toni can the bot work on wet grass I dont think it can. have a lovely holiday.

Joan, thank you so much for your offer of Oramorph, Thankfully a new one arrived yesterday tea time. If I ever need any more, I'll send Pepe and Miss Slimcea over on the broomstick for it. I hope your ankle isn't causing you too much pain. The Daks are rather gorgeous, aren't they. I hope you are enjoying the sun.
Toni, we have so many pets now, I forgot poor Cuddles. Must give her some extra hugs to compensate, Will definitely have a daily pint from Marigold, and some Lavender pats for my back and hips.
Aidan, I'm still on Felodiopine, but also take Doxozosin. It makes some people itchy, that won't do my spotty botty any good. Flipping Vasculitis!!!!
Went to LE this morning. in spite of the warm sun and my coat with the fake fur collar. I was shivering.
Off to put a Lavender pat on my back and spotty bum.
Love to all. xxxxx"Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to all - very sunny and very warm here, after a frosty start. It was very frosty when we went to bed, at our usual unearthly hour.
Now, I am melting. Pepe and Cookie are basting themselves on the back of the sofa, even with the curtains closed, they are too hot and have to keep laying on the floor.
I hope bot is ok Toni, did he just run aground, or has he cut out with the cold temperatures? I am sure Paul will rescue him.
Pepe is leaving do's and don't is he, I will have words, he is sprawled out in a heap at the moment, trying to cool down. (he is not alone).
There will be no ironing board gliding when it is bright sunshine, bad enough with the tumble dryer going !! Let alone stand in a cloud of steam.
That is very true Toni, the vets and the staff are not about when his nibs is refusing whatever sachet, I know which ones he likes by the batch numbers, I think he does too.
Mum n Dad popped in for a cuppa this morning, plus the essential croissants. Mum is doing very well, no doubt about that. They will be here again tomorrow, with OH Brother and wife. I call them my BIL and SIL too, which they are, in law.
The cake is still stashed in the fridge alongside the chocolate oranges (a few bits have gone, but I did say Barbara could help herself).
Marigold will always oblige with a lavender pat  they are very good for easing joints.
I have checked on the babies, they are all in the shade at the moment and the tapirs are in their pond. Good luck with your scarecrow, a lot of villages round here have scarecrow festivals, they are really good, people go to town on them.
Hi Barbara you have lovely weather too, not too warm I hope, I know we both take to melting at the drop of a hat.
That's good if I make you chuckle. It is good medicine. Sometimes days can be wearing and just pretty horrid, but I do try and keep a sense of humour to kick arthur in the backside.
The cold war, yes, that was a worrying time for sure. I have not caught up with the news today, never know whether to look or not. I have just peeped and the USA is threatening more strikes against Syria. I can see their point, that horrible Assad, using chemical weapons, just horrific.
I hope you find someone to re fit your carpets, they need kicking don't they, (imagine us trying to do it, we would fall to bits). It is a busy time of year, everyone is out and about, in their gardens, washing out on the lines, proper Spring day.
Hi Joan, I hope you manage to enjoy some of the sunshine, I know you don't mind it warm. The doggies on the picture from Kath look lovely.
Take care with your foot, keep it rested.
Hi Kath, glad your oromorph arrived, just in time for the week end. That's a relief for you I am sure.
Miss Sleek and Pepe would always run errands for us, maybe for a lick of mayonnaise as a treat. I think Miss Slimkins has mastered the broomstick now and can fly at a fair rate of knots.
No, the pills can and do cause skin irritation and as you say, will not help vasculitis at all. You help yourself to lavender pats for any areas that may be causing troubles  Arnica gel would be good too, nice and cooling, as is aloe vera gel. Certainly not a cure, but anything to ease the symptoms.
So you were shivering this morning, oh dear, here's me, lathered and you wrapped up in fur coats :?
Well, it is nearly time for the next drug round, so I will sort some washing, take a mound of pills and potter a little.
Time for some wonderful scones, with clotted cream and strawberries
Love to all, Mig, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Christine and all. Take care.

Good afternoon one and all and thank you for such a warm welcome.
Glorious day here .. I would have been out on my bike when I was younger, can't beat a nice ride in the sun.
I am looking out over the nearby park which is gradually transforming as all the trees are coming into leaf.. keeps me sane having such a beautiful view
At the moment things are a bit easier so I am feeling more human today!
So glad you managed to get the Oramorph Kath .. I don't know what I would do without it myself when I have a lot of pain to deal with!
Bubbles .. those scones and cream are making my mouth water and I must resist the temptation to go into the kitchen and get some of the same seeing as they're lurking in the fridge.
You must have been a lot warmer in your area.
Somebody mentioned how young the doctor seemed and as an addict of any cops programs they often look like young teenagers .. and young women throwing themselves into the brawls .. fair play to them! I admire them immensely.
I've had a running dispute with the council regarding the "Mow and Grow" company that they use to help those that find they cannot care for their gardens any more but over the last 4 years since they have been tending to mine they have completely destroyed every flower and plant and the latest is that they have chopped down my blueberry bushes! In the last letter from them they wrote that they "hoped I would enjoy sitting and relaxing in my garden"! .. ? :x
It is quite soul destroying when you have to see what you have worked hard to accomplish being gradually destroyed.
Like everything we have to just get over it as all the shouting won't change things and at the end of the day there are worse things going on in the world as has already been mentioned ..
Hope you are all having a good day and thanks for your time.
Bless! All the world is mad except thee and me and even thee's a little odd!

Nooooooooo, I got logged out again because I took too long to post. Will try to catch up tomorrow. Love to all. xxChristine0

Evening to one and all - I think I am a little cooler now. Thank goodness. I can see the A/C machine coming out earlier than ever this year
Hi Charrisse - lovely to see you and what beautiful views you have, with the ever changing seasons. So glad that you are feeling more human. People would never believe (unless they have arthur) that things can change so much from day to day.
Good that the Oromorph works well for you.
Oh dear, the garden, fancy getting rid of the blueberries, I would be livid, even though we only have one and the birds eat them
I would write back and say "yes, I would love to sit in my garden, but, seeing as I no longer have anything that resembles the one I had, I feel far less inclined".
I know there are some terrifying things going on in the world, but it is ok to have a grumble, when things are personal to you and you see your hard work vanishing.
You help yourself to the scones and cream, they are ultra low calorie ones
I used to watch some of the cops programmes, yes, they did look very young, but all credit to them, they do a sterling job, trying their best to keep us safe, in this crazy world of ours.
Oh dear Christine, we won't mention being logged out, :? ooops, I just did, sorry. I would be throwing the computer lol. If I write a fairly long dissertation, I copy and paste it every so often, then, if the gremlins get in, it is always there to paste back in. I hope you are ok and enjoying some sunshine.
I hope everyone else is as ok as possible. I will away and potter a little. Enjoying the golf from Augusta at the moment, in between tennis tournaments, the next one I think is Monte Carlo.
I was thinking a nice picture of Spring and I found this, of a wisteria walkway, I would never come out, I adore them. It is GORGEOUS N Night all, take lots of care XXXX Aidan

Hello Kathleen Aidan Charrisse Christine and anyone else I missed.
Kathleen I'm pleased you have your oramorph. I hope you have a good day.
Aidan I'm pleased you Mum in law is doing so well. yesterday the gas man came we had no heating just as I was doing the injection in my tummy my hand shot up I had to put it in again good job I had not pressed it.
Charrisse that's a lovely name.
Christine good luck for posting.
take care all
Joan xxtake care
joan xx0 -
Oh Aidan! I love the wisteria!!! Fabulous I can just imagine the smell
It was warm yesterday. So far we have made 2 mesh window covers so we can open them. We get a lot of insects being in the country as it were, so two can be opened if needs be after dark and Mistress Sleek can't get out either.
I imagine Pepe was very very warm and will be again today :? Daisycat says of course he knows the serial numbers!! He can read you know  They both checked them over last time they came and tried to put them in order, but apparently one or two fell on the floor? :?
Indeed I think the A/C will have to come out soon
I have fed all babies with their bottles, Barbara is very good at filling them, (and possibly helping herself to chocolate oranges at the same time ), for us for the whole day. I have opened the door to the pen.
The bot must have slipped in the ice I think and gone out of his area. He just needed to be popped back inside the wired surround
I trust all family were well Mum and Dad BIL and SIL?? Lovely
Christine!! Oh no! I hope all is well and you have been out in your garden?
Charisse what views!! I would NEVER ever want to move if I were you!
That's ridiculous using a company which doesn't know a plant from a weed nor a bush from a fruit!! I would be fuming too.
So our calorie-free delights are tempting you towards 'real' ones in the fridge? Be careful
Ah Kath of course Daisycat will bring oramorph over from Joan's if you need some she would pop it in her back-pack. Yes Cuddles has been so well behaved hasn't she?
ah there she is! I think she enjoyed the extra attention you gave her
You have a spotty botty? I hope it's not too uncomfy?
Hi Joan there were cute Dachs weren't they? Yes the bot can work in rain, but not in storms I have to turn him off in storms.
Barbara cats are very very choosy! Daisycat eats one flavour of one make of food only. AND THAT is THAT!! Would be pricey too
A lot of the villagers do make scarecrows yes. I need to start ours soon. I hope it's acceptable :? I will take photos for you to see
Those are long shifts for your GD Charley will sympathise. It's no wonder they loose staff and are therefore short-staffed isn't it?
My Mum and Dad used to bet on the National too the only time they ever bet
Rightyho...one nervous Toni getting ready for Palm Sunday service at Acton Trussel where I will be singing in the choir for the first time  Help!!!
Love to everyone who hasn't posted ((()))

Aiden, I will work as usual next week while my boss is away although I will have Good Friday and Easter Monday off. I spent so much time ironing, not much else got done. He did remember to pay me but, as he handed me it, he told me he knew the minimum wage had gone up but my rate would be staying the same. This just as he was about to jet off on his second holiday of the year so far. I’ve had to ask for a rise for the last few years or I wouldn’t have got it and then it wasn’t as much as the minimum went up. I think he’s trying to bring me right down to the minimum he has to pay. Lucky you getting 2 chocolate oranges. Whatever made you think Pepe fell off the ironing board? He was obviously practising his diving for the pawlympics. Oops, just read, it was actually beam practice. Glad mum’s whitlow has gone now. They can be so painful. I usually do copy and paste if I spend too long writing my post but I hit ‘post’ before I thought about it yesterday.
Toni, I hope the new girl doesn’t have any bone issues. You are right, enough to think about for now. No point worrying about something which might not happen. Hope your bot is ok after being stranded. I love going to see the scarecrows in my son’s village. I think it’s a great idea. What a shame you’ll be away when they’re all up. Looking forward to seeing pics. Hope the singing went well today and you enjoyed it.
Joan, you’ve lost a post because there was a problem with the page. Wonder if it was an update. Wish the updates would wait till we tell them. Just another couple of days till your dressing is changed. Can’t believe your heating wasn’t working again. Why don’t they just get on with replacing it? Much cheaper for them in the long run and it’s not right you keep losing your heating. The engineer must have made you jump. Glad the injection didn’t go wrong.
Kath, not sure if you prefer having a cold or fur balls. Glad your oromorph arrived. Big sigh of relief. The weather seems to vary a lot. It’s been lovely and warm here but you are shivering even being wrapped up well.
Barbara, I think you did mention your niece having her son very young. It’s wonderful to hear she is still with his dad. Many that age would have split up. Good idea about getting the bus to Kerrin’s wedding. We could all wear our big hats. Just had a letter saying plans have gone in for another 500 houses on the end of the new estate which was built on the end of the one I live on. Although we are all commenting on the planning site to give our reasons for it not going ahead, I was talking to a councillor who said they use some sort of calculator to work out how the traffic will affect the area and it said the road could cope. What it doesn’t take in to account is that most of the traffic will have to go through our High Street and there is only one way in and one way out and no way to widen it. It also doesn’t take in to consideration that we have been told there will be no more school places and that the medical centre is overflowing already. Hope you manage to find someone to do your carpets. It is a busy time of year with everyone getting their houses in order.
Charrisse, the scones and cream and strawberries do look very tasty. I’m the same. Will go rummaging in the kitchen to find some. The calorie free ones in here don’t really fill me up enough. The police do seem very young but I admire them and am very grateful to them. How shocking that a company who are supposed to look after gardens have destroyed yours. That would really upset me. I hope they compensate you. What a wonderful view you have. It will be lovely to watch it change over the year.
I had decided to spend yesterday studying and today in the garden but just after lunch, I went outside for a break and forgot to go back inside. I managed to tidy one side of the garden or, at least most of it. Lots of lovely wild flowers growing. Looks like the sun is out and no clouds so will probably do the other side of the garden today although I think I need to put my wellies on and wade in to the pond to clean it up. It's full of irises and not much else. Haven't worn my wellies for a couple of years so goodness knows what's in them.Christine0 -
Afternoon all been a lovely day but going very cool now..
Christine it awful how they allow all these building ..they say they are needed but guess what they are being bought up by a certain country has an investment ..we found out its the same in manchester low cost house a third had gone to young people and the rest been bought in bulk again..I am furious..see I am off on one now... we have had word they might end our rd at a certain point then it s a no though I hope it goes ahead..doubt it..at least you got some jobs done in the garden I have just bought a box of mixed wild seeds..
Aiden nice to have all your family around..a good sense of humour really helps...so you keep it going...I adore wisteria ..a few houses up form us had a lovely one and took it down because rats were climbing it..such a shame..I have stopped looking at the news bet its everywhere you go..they all needs there heads banging together

Housing and pavement parking are my two pet hates so sorry if I go on about them. The estate next to mine was on a 'never-to-be-built-on' site as there is a high pressure gas pipe running through it which blew up some years ago. Someone drew up a new list of no-go areas and missed it out so the builders got in quick before the mistake was spotted. Oops sorry, I'm off again. I got a packet of seeds the other day. Meant to sew them today but didn't get round to it. I haven't been to a car boot in years. Used to love them. What wonderful news about your friend. I'm sure she'll be fine now.
Went down to the High Street to get my pies from the farmer's market. Called in at one of the charity shops and bought a photo frame and a back bolster cushion. Got a bit more tidying done in the garden but didn't have a lot of energy so just pottered a bit.
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.Christine0 -
Morning all
Well yesterday went well at the Church I sang ok I think and didn't have any last minute nerves phew!!
Surely those houses are in danger then Christine?? Scary!! I hope all is well there :? I wouldn't want to be on that estate.
Extra housing must help the council raise funds when they sell it to the developers??? I think older houses should be done up and not left empty :x
It's a worry your boss trying to reduce your wages...a bit scary incase what he really wants is to cut your hours and his outgoings now their kids are adults :? It makes me feel nervous around people like him. Don't like it at all
You did a lot when you think about it charity shopping, and the farmer's market as well as a potter in the garden. Probably you overdid it yesterday. I will be in the pond soon too to finish what I started last year
Hi Barbara Yes the mesh is a great idea I agree we can have cool air, but less insects Thank you the service went ok.
Lucy didn't have to have the injections because hers was her shoulder so she could walk about easy enough Hard to actually HURT yourself I can imagine I wouldn't want to do them
Was your friend's tumour a meningioma? I am so glad it is going to cause her no further trouble - BRILLIANT news
Joan you cannot be serious about your heating?? I hope you are well and looking forward to seeing your repaired foot is it tomorrow?
I am sure Aidan is ok probably all the visitors stopped him posting love to you and everyone else who was busy yesterday in that lovely sun

Christine they are two of my pet hates..we dont have a pavement on our side of the rd so have to cross over and that is were all the cars are parked..I have been on the site you gave me and taken pics..oops sorry I must have missed were your boss wants to lower your wage..not nice..and I bet you have worked for them for ages..hope at least you will do much less work ..and maybe claim some form of benefit to top up your lower wages..good you got a bargain from the charity shops I have just introduced OH to them..
Joan not again that boiler really does want changing..remind me when you have your next foot appointment...I know its not long away..Toni you are right about empty house ..they should be moved on quickly..we have so many homeless people now..I dont know the name of the tumour..but its was at the back of her head and they were worried about blood vessels..they had just come home form 4 months away..so it was a shock...glad the singing went wll...good on you
pottering today...

Oh Christine, don't get me started on pavement parking. All the streets near us have them. Bad enough when they're half on and half off, but one house which is on a corner, they park the whole car on the pavement.
Joan, I hope you don't have to wait as long as before to get your heating sorted this time.
Toni, I'm glad you enjoyed your service.
Right, Off to check on the little ones and get my milk and lavender pats from the wee coo. I'm not really checking on the little ones, I know they are in very safe hands, I just need my cuddle fix."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea."
