    Morning!

Hot crossed buns all round with best French butter :) Ask the cats - it's the best :D

Morning Joan how is the foot? Is it less painful now? Lucy reckoned the first 3 weeks with her shoulder were the worst.

Barbara I totally agree. You friend might just have a bug, but f she rings NHS direct they will send her to the hospital for a check-over.

I haven't bought a SINGLE egg!! and don't intend to either. Not good for me. I eat them ;) Dr has referred me to ENT for my bunged up nose. Am I about to join you on that treadmill? As for you doing 5 mins on X trainer that is really good I should think :)

Mr T is quite right Carol a bit bruised and embarrassed is fine it could have been far worse!

Good he managed to apologise because there's no need for it  men! present company excepted of course Aidan.

I am pleased your meds were reviewed over the phone :) That's good news. Fingers crossed bloods are ok on extra water tabs. I am being referred to ENT. thanks xx

Poor you and Mum being perished Aidan!! We were all freezing at choir last night. Good job the lady with the pressure sore didn't go!

Thing is I can't stop at 3 pieces of choc....it's always the whole bar with me  or egg :?

VERY wise to give up driving for safety's sake.

It was indeed choir practise last night. We are learning some fun stuff for a proposed concert in November. That's fine plenty of time ;)

I have a feeling Diddicat was on the roof on the broomstick - if not it must have been the sopranos - maybe??? Only two of us altos in last night so we had to sing extra loud!!

Charley's cat is a tad rotund yes. Short and round. She was a teenage mother thrown out when pregnant - still with the collar dent :( - I hate people :x . She had 3 kittens then emergency surgery and hysterectomy.

Pendle Hill is on their list of places to visit. I think Mistress Sleek was thinking of October 31st. There's a meet up there. :? She wears earplugs so Pepe's shrieking doesn't put her off  NEVER be fooled into thinking they are asleep it's a trick they have perfected.

Ok I made Lucy a thick ice-creamy milkshake and tested the ice cream very nice :)

The Rev Delphine is pretty much back to normal now and yes there is indeed a service on Sunday. Choir not singing though not sure why.

I am very pleased to hear your hands are under control again just try your best to keep them that way. ((()))

Now I am hoping that Elizabeth and Kath are doing ok and not suffering ATM Charisse too. Mig has been AWOL for far too long I am worried has anyone else seen her? Kerrin I hope is just busy with wedding plans :?

Must get on I am having a lazy start

    Love to everyone

    Morning All

Bit of a drab dull morning here but at least it is dry and not cold .

Joan No not too painful just a few bruises.

Barbara yes we are going through it a bit at the moment I ask myself when will it all end you no sooner get one thing out the way and then its something else that's wrong.  as far as mr T apologising it is a very VERY rare thing I think all men are the same.:lol: yes computers ect are all fine now and I did manage to get my meds sorted out after a telephone consultation with dr. and I am not too sore just a few tender areas.

Aiden yes think I need the Tlc added to that list too. I don't have a rail as I able to get in and out of bed ok I have never fallen out of bed before I can only think that I was not heavily asleep as I often wake up at that time to go out to the loo and I was dreaming and in the dream I rolled away from either someone or something I cant remember which I must have just literally in my semi conscious state just launched myself off the bed. :o and felt a real idiot   0h my the continental breakfast in a comfy garden room with countryside views sounds devine I'm sitting ready and waiting yummy. Yes Men are a strange breed (present company accepted of course):lol: just waiting for my Drs appointment about the water tabs on the 24th keeping fingers crossed the result will be a good one.

need to go out soon to meet Mr T for our usual one day a week main meal in our local pub he is out at the moment at our church's Good Friday service waiting for him to ring me to say he is on the way back and I will meet him there. then its off to meet a friend for coffee and a chat on the local Costa's so that's my afternoon sorted.

hope you all have a good day will pop in again soon
    Stay positive always👍xx

Just popped in for a catch up. Hip and back still causing grief, and Vasculitis rash is back.

Carol, I fell out of my bed last year. Just after my Osteoporosis diagnosis. Agony.

Just off for a few cuddles and some milk and pats. Still managing to get a bit of walking in.

    Evening all
My friend was taken in hospital yesterday and had a scan on her head all is well , but she is dehydrated so they have kept her in on IV fluids..her poor hubby was beside himself so there daughter took over.. :)

A late evening to all - hope everyone is as ok as can be.

Definitely safer on the roads without me at the wheel Joan. I cannot concentrate enough, let alone coordinate. Much better that OH has taken over all driving, I feel very safe and secure.
I hope your heating is being well behaved and that you are keeping warm, elevating your foot as necessary. Is the pain easing, I do hope so.
Lots of love this Easter, to you, Sue and the lovely doggies.

Ohh, hot cross buns, well, surprise surprise, they are not on my favourite list  I think it is the cinnamon, which I cannot abide. I don't wish to be ungrateful, so I will pinch the French butter and lather it onto a croissant :)
We have President butter and won't have anything else. The puskins all agree, it is THE best butter.

No apologies needed from anyone, us men folks are a funny breed. Look at me, going through the change, blowing hot and cold all the year through :lol: You will have to let us know when you are off to ENT, we will need to arrange the cloak.

Oh we were frozen, it is a lovely old pub, but they had not put the underfloor heating on and the fire was not lit. The nice lady lit the fire and things warmed up a little. I went to the (very posh) loo's, thinking that some nice warm water would warm my hands, no, it was like ice.
So you were all cold souls as well at choir practice. Indeed a good job that the lady with the sore, did not go. It would not have done her any good at all.
Learning for November, that is plenty of time to practice and sing sing sing. Plus you had to sing extra loud.

I think it might have been Diddicat on the roof, there was something on our roof the other day, (there often are, ducks, crows, magpies, wagtails etc etc). It sounded like something with hobnail boots on, so I am guessing it was Miss Slimkins banging her broomstick. The ducks do make a noise, paddling about,:lol:
I think she has been over and sorted through Pepe's food pouches, showing him the ones to refuse   Well, it is working, lol.

There is certainly a big meet on Pendle Hill on All Hallows Eve, they stop cars parking on the road over the hill, which doesn't stop anyone, they just go to the next village and walk up from there. I think there will be shrieking when they fly up to the top. Wise for her to wear ear plugs. Oh yes, we know that those eyes are never quite asleep, it's a bit like not trusting a smiling Crocodile.

Bless Charlies puskins, a little rotund, but, so glad she has a loving home now, after being thrown out. You are right, people are the most horrid race, when it comes to animal cruelty. Makes my blood boil.

Glad the milk shake was good and the ice cream was safe. I am sorely tempted to eat the whole bar of chocolate, but three pieces and I throw it back in the fridge, very quickly.

Good to hear that the Rev D is back up to speed and will be taking the Easter Service. Strange, no choir.

No sign of Mig, I am sure things will be ok, life gets all busy, as we know and taking time out can be difficult.

Hi Carol, hope the bruises go away very soon. We can certainly add TLC to the list, without a doubt.
No more dreaming or lurching out of bed, nice dreams of rose gardens and sounds of the sea lapping the shore. We don't want you ducking and diving.

I am glad that Mr T apologised, rare as it is. I hope you had a good lunch and then to Costa, two treats in one day, how wonderful. :)

Hi there Kath, nice to see you. Sorry you are in pain and the vasculitis is being horrid. I was reading about fish oils and olive oil being essential parts of a diet, plus turmeric and ginger too, along with several homeopathic remedies. Sending hugs, gentle ones.

Good that you are managing to get out for some walks as well. Help yourself to cuddles and pats with the babies. They are all thriving with the huge amounts of fuss and attention.

Hi Barbara - Hospital was the right place, being dehydrated causes so many add on problems, which your poor friend can do without. I am sure her Husband was beside himself, good that Daughter too the reigns and let him have a break. Things can get to melting point. Bless, sending abundant hugs and well wishes for comfort and rest.

We do live in a very pleasant part of the country, often overlooked by tourists, but well worth visiting and taking some time to drive into the tough of bowland and discover some truly enchanting villages.
We used to have a vast amount of "stuff", but we have gotten rid of most of it, we cannot bear any clutter now, drives us mad.
Park homes are going up in value for sure, lots of people want to live in them as they are so cosy and have everything you could need.

I saw that King of Kings was on, I have seen it before. Very good it is too. I always liked Easter, Mother would always have a new hat for Easter Service. I think the meaning of Easter has changed, to how many eggs people can get, forgetting the reason why we celebrate, such is life eh.

We went to the GC, it was very busy, there was only our table left when we got there. Coffee was as good as ever and the scones could not have been any fresher. Mum n Dad are ok, Mum looks tired and is not really eating much, but she keeps going and is one determined lady.

We did some shopping, so that we are at home all week end, it was busy, with eggs piled to the ceiling. I resisted. Don't worry, my halo could easily slip, :?

Right, my love to all, to Mig, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Christine and all.

Everyone take lots of care XXX Aidan

Joan I am so glad your pain is easing...a ball under the foot sounds uncomfortable though ((()))

Of course Aidan a croissant is a suitable alternative so long as it has president butter of course

The Dr thinks I will hear soon from ENT so of course I will let you know. I have the cloak ATM nice and clean and aired it's in the wardrobe at the back of the staff room. I have attached a gold ribbon to the invisible label so we can see it. As you know it has been lost in the past

Yes it was chilly wasn't it? I am very much hoping today will be warmer it's already sunnier :sun:

Oh dear I am so sorry about that Diddicat has been able to read really well from a young kitten :? She will definitely know which have the 'bad' serial numbers  Listen out for a pattern in the bumping on the roof and you will know it's her. She does her Mum's (me) 'Social Services' knock

When the go to Pendle Hill she will also have her ear-muffs on :) Poor Pepe...he is getting better I believe. Less claw marks on the broomstick now.

Charley's cat is a happy girl although a tad bi-polar. ATM the steroids are heightening that, but we shall see. She was an excellent Mum. Bless her.

Not sure why no choir tomorrow....maybe too many are away? It is only small choir made up of this and two other nearby villages.

I am glad the scones were fresher than fresh at the GC. we called into one too yesterday and had paninis for lunch. Then I looked down....at my feet....I had two different boots on    I could NOT stop laughing and snap-chatted everyone on my list so they could have a laugh too!!!

I hope Mum's appetite picks up again ((()))
    t6392.gif
The Easter pic is lovely thank you :)

Ah dehydrated Barbara. That explains it I am glad daughter took over I reckon her husband hasn't got over the tumour yet bless him.

No idea what is with my hooter, but I think she said maybe polyps? I cannae breathe too well through wither side :(

It's easy to blame kids for buying Esater eggs, but then the call you!!

Oh Kath you poor thing :( The rash :( So you fell out of bed at the worst possible time!!!

Go yo though for keeping up the walking despite your pain :) :bee:

Carol you better make a note of the apology on the calendar!! Hehehe!! Send an email to all the family

Sounds like yesterday afternoon was easily filled for you. I bet it was nice lunch out then a natter with a good friend. What more can a woman want? :D

Right better get on now. It's sunny and the garden is calling me :) I bet it's FREEZING out there though :?

Love to everyone especially those who haven't been in I hope they are ok.

Afternoon to all, turned out nice again, sunny, but cool.

Hi Joan my buggy is electric, I don't use it as much as I did, as all the shops etc have wheelchairs and or buggies of their own. It comes into three sections, but it is still heavy for OH to lift in and out of the car.
If there are none free, I either wait in the car, or walk to the middle and give directions

It will feel like a ball under your foot, time will pass very quickly and progress will be good.

The puskins are all sunbathing at the moment - they will get too hot soon and go lay on the carpet.

Hi Toni, oh yes, croissants are very good, in fact we had them this morning, when mum n dad popped in on their way back from the shops.
President butter, of course, with a hint of strawberry jam. All very nice.

Glad you had the idea to tag the invisible cloak, otherwise we would be in a tizzy. I remember my Uncle had his polyps snared, many moons ago, with success. I am not a lover of having sinuses washed out, the problem always seemed to come back time after time. I won't go into details of the procedure, mind you, it will have changed in 20 years.
We will be there, have no fear.

Yes, I need to have words with Miss Sleek, I have a cupboard full of ones that are "toxic" and Pepe has been given notice to refuse the entire batch. She is a Madam.:lol: :? I will listen out for the Social Services knock. It is a bit blowy today, so she may well miss her flight and just skype instead.
His Lordship is nodding at the moment. No surprise really, we were all up before 8 this morning, parcel being collected between 8am and 8pm !! That is like silly o clock. I was thinking of posting very early, but my eyes would not function at that time of day.
    c030.gif

Sorry to hear that Charlies puskins is a little bi Polar, steroids won't help, that's for sure. Bless, being a good Mother. Talking of Mothers, we need to tell Christine that April is giving birth, I have just seen it online in the daily mail. Finally. Let's hope all goes well for both April and her new born. I hope Christine is watching the live feed.

Oh dear, you had two different boots on, don't worry, it could be a fashion trend :lol: I went to work in my slippers once. I frightened everyone as no one heard me paddling about,:lol:

I hope you manage to get out into the garden and it is not too cold. It looks warmer than it actually is.

Have you tried Sterimar spray, for your nose, they do one with added zinc too.

April has had her baby, yipeee. They seem to be ok, Mum is cleaning little one. :D:D

On that note I had better move. Hi to everyone else, Kath Mig Kerrin Carol Christine Barbara. Time for T me thinks.

Take care everyone, catch you later, Love to all XXX Aidan

Carol, ouch. Hope you are ok and not too much bruising. It’s always the same, everything goes wrong at once. Hopefully that’s it all now.

Toni, I didn’t have to pay any extra for the window sill. I hadn’t paid them for the windows at all. Wanted to make sure I was happy with them first. I see your bot has been banked on a mole hill again. Does he do it deliberately so he can look for grass to cut? You haven’t bought any eggs? Wish I had that sort of willpower. Poor Charley’s cat. There really is no need to throw any animal out. There is always someone to take it on. She has a lovely caring home now. Glad Rev Delphine is about back to normal now. So you went out with two different boots on. Were they different colours?

Barbara, I have managed not to touch the kids’ eggs but I’ve already eaten both eggs my boss’s mum got me. Glad you’ve got your rum and raisin ice cream back. Didn’t you have to write to them asking for it? Your friend is being taken care of now. Hope she isn’t in hospital for too long. Just read she is home today. It must have shaken them all.

Joan, glad you can put some weight on your foot now. Must be very uncomfortable if it feels like a ball under your foot.

Aiden, it does look lovely and sunny outside at times and I put on a light jacket but end up pulling it closed round the neck to keep the cold out. I’ve been to a few auctions and been scared stiff to move in case I bought something I didn’t want. Did you see April? I just sat down for a cuppa and decided to check and saw 2 little feet. That was me for the next hour or so. Baby has been very well cleaned and then some.

Kath, nice to see you in the café but sorry to hear things are still playing up. Hope the walking is helping.

April finally had her baby this afternoon. I only switched on for a quick look while I had a cuppa just as baby was on his way out. Yes, he is a boy. It's amazing how quickly they get up and walk around. Oliver, the baby's dad wasn't interested until the baby landed on the floor then he seemed to be wondering why he didn't have one.

Remember the good looking gas man who cam to check that my gas meter was safe. Well he came back on Thursday morning to take the readings. Didn't get the chance to get my lippy on. I did check and noticed only my electricity reading has been updated so he might need to come back to get the gas reading again.

Guess what I did. As it was getting dark last night, I went round and closed all the curtains. This morning, I went round and opened them all again. Then I got the kettle, went to the sink to fill it and noticed I'd left the kitchen window wide open all night. How I didn't notice when I closed then opened the curtains I don't know.

Hope everyone has a lovely Easter. :sun:

    Evening to one and all

Hi Barbara It has been cooler today, the heating is on to keep us all toasty warm. Give it two months and we will have the AC on to cool us down.
Indeed the meaning of many religious festivals has gone out of the window. The PC brigade dare not mention even the word Christian, in case it offends someone. What is all that about  :x Mentioning no names ie the BBC for one.

Glad you enjoyed the film and then the programme about the true facts that we know of.

You will have seen Pendle, as it faces the town and the car boot area, maybe not aware that that is the infamous Hill. No, the witch trials took place in Lancaster and those who were guilty of practicing herbalism, sorry, witchcraft, as they called it, where hanged there.

Oh yes, fitting in the GC is a must, at every opportunity. :) They are not open as such on Easter Sunday, but there is a classic car rally meeting there, so they are doing T coffee bacon butties etc, all outside. Will be nice, hope the weather is better than the forecast of rain.

I am sure your friends Husband is still in shock, it is a lot to take in and people handle things in different ways. I am glad your friend is back home, suitably re hydrated. Sending hugs their way.

I bet it was a change to go to the local shops and not the huge hangars (not that we have any that big in Clitheroe). Then cottage pie. Best not to add salt, then you can choose, sensible chef.

It is Easter Sunday Barbara, not what the PC BBC say. I will be off on one, so I had best remain calm.

You have a lovely day, will you be seeing family and GC?

Hi Christine - oh I am so glad you saw April have her baby, I just saw a clip in the paper and went to the web cam and there she was half way through her labours. Goodness, I think the whole world was waiting and pushing
I am sure mother and baby will be ok. I think I read this will be her fifth baby now.

Kind of your Boss's Mum to buy you Easter Eggs. Maybe the boss will bring you a huge one back from their holidays - huh. Some chance eh.

You have shown great restraint, not eating the GC eggs. Mum brought in those egg and spoon oreo cookie ones, so that is in the fridge, for me to nibble on. Some white chocolate for OH, which he prefers. He does not have the sweet tooth I have. I was never brought up with sweets and chocolate, mum used to give me carrots to eat and chew on. :lol:

I have only been to a couple of auctions, bought a few things, but nothing super exciting. I was scared to hardly breathe.

Good that you didn't have to pay for the window sills, I thought they were part of the deal so to speak.

I think you need to ask that the Gas man comes back to check the meters again, we don't want any odd readings, will give you time to put your lippy on :) Maybe leave a nice cake out and two cups, ready for T

Ooops, with the kitchen window. We have gone out and left the door unlocked. All was safe though, I bet you double check and check again tonight.

Well, it is just after midnight, so Happy Easter Day to one and all. No over eating of eggs, lol.

Hi to everyone who is not about at the moment. Thinking of you all.

Had to post this, I love Icon paintings, would LOVE an original, but they are super expensive and rare. XXX Aidan

Easter Sunday a very important day in the Church two services for the Rev Delphine.

Lovely picture Aidan all mine are of bunnies and eggs

Sterimar spray I've got it for Charley in the past can't believe I didn't think of it! As for the 'procedure' if it comes to it I shall need you all to hold me down. I suspect it's eye-watering?

I managed t potter in the garden yesterday and Miss Slimkins sneaked across the rd into the Churchyard!! Luckily The Rev. and Bob (Border terrier) came along and scared her back over

Indeed she didn't risk flying so Pepe got the day off from his lessons. She is such a confident flyer it must play havoc with his nerves  Sorry about the wasted food - I know how much it costs too :?

Skyping they were tuna paw prints al over the keyboard :?

    Did Mum manage a croissant?

There's a classic car rally here - well near here! and Paul is going to something tomorrow too to do with cars not sure what.

I am so glad to hear that you wore slippers to work once so I am not totally barking after all!!

Christine such good news about April having a boy!!! She's the second on the google list if you just put April in now! Bless them both :D and the other giraffe looking over to see him!!

I am very glad your sills didn't cost any extra and you are now happy with them. I am sure you will be extra vigilant now with your window shutting at night

My boots were the same colour - black but one was a knee length and one a DM style. Both the same height so no extra limping!! I could NOT stop laughing!!!

Barbara that's good to know - I will have a diagnosis straight away about my bunged up hooter!!

Charley's cat is very much loved. I don't know if you remember, but I posted photos of her on A/C with her kittens?

Very wise of that cafe not to add salt to food then those who shouldn't have it can avoid it those who want it can add it themselves :)

Love to Joan who I know will be in - hope the ball under your foot doesn't hurt too much.

To everyone else who isn't able to post ATM for whatever reason love and ((()))

    Toni xxx
Happy Easter Sunday to you too Barbara. One of the most important days of the year for Christians.

Evening all hope are all having a good Easter

We have had a good one so far.
nice day Friday Shopping delivery came half an hour early on Friday morning as the poor delivery driver injured his finger on an earlier delivery so was allowed to deliver early to those he could so that he could go to the hospital after his round. wouldn't mind but I was not even washed or dressed and Mr Turbo had already gone out so I had to let him in to deliver still in me nightie and dressing gown. . then a nice lunch with Mr T then coffee and chat with my friend. Saturday was a relaxing day. This morning didn't start very well as the boiler didn't come on which wasn't a problem as far as heating was concerned but it meant the water wasn't very hot as it was only the water in the tank from last night when it went on so had to call engineer who came this afternoon he got it going again but he needs to replace a dodgy part which he will do on Thursday morning. was a good Easter day service at our church this morning. I rather over indulged on a piece Simnel cake and some delicious onion Bhaji that someone had made. so don't suppose we will have a weight loss this week.
hopefully the weather is nice tomorrow as we go out for the afternoon if it is.

Kathleen all I know is it has jolly well hurt to sit down for too long for the past few days but feeling better now. will definitely not be trying to repeat it anytime soon that's for sure :lol:
it's good that you are still getting the walking in.

Barbara no not just a one of all men can be like that never apologise. but yes we did enjoy our meal on Friday.

Aiden no I certainly wont be trying to lurch out of bed to often cos it sure hurt :lol: and my rear has been very tender to sit upon for the last few days. bruises are healing and discomfort getting better. Apologies were accepted and all is ok there and Friday was a good day with the meal and chat and coffee with friend.

Joan trouble is I don't want to be reminded

Barbara 0h yes the apology had been noted in my diary he he :lol:

Christine not quite all for now as we now have to wait for a pat for our boiler but at least engineer managed to get it working temporarily until Thursday when he will fit the new part.

Aiden I love the resurrection picture it is lovely

well its now bedtime will be in again soon enjoy the rest of you easter everyone.
this will be me soon :animal_busy:

Evening to all, hope everyone is as ok as can be.

Toni, yes, Easter Sunday is a special day indeed. Like the Rev Delhpine, Dad was always busy, he had four Parishes to look after, so he was always here there and everywhere.

The picture is lovely, I adore Icons, I have seen some small ones, set in silver, at an antique center and I always think, I need me one of those.
Bunnies and eggs are ok too.

Do try the Sterimar, I find it has been very good indeed, sometimes the chemical sprays are just a bit too much. We won't mention procee----, the same as we don't mention spi---s. There will be hand holding. You should get a diagnosis there and then, if they are going to use a flexi tube and take a look. Right, shut up Aidan, too much info.

Naughty Miss Sleek, sneaking off into the Churchyard, soon to be sent running for home by the Rev. I have a cupboard full of sachets that his Lordship will not eat  I might keep a box and take 12 back to the vets, they don't mind trading in :) They know what a total fuss pot he is.
I think there was more skyping today, lots of butter and mayonnaise around and about.

Oh yes, Mum managed croissants and sweet things ok, bless. She does like soup and has her high cal drinks at home. What she fancies, bits and bobs, too much and it outfaces her. I know her blood sugars are awry, but if she wants a cake, then cake it will be and why not eh.

Yes, I did a 12 hour shift in my slippers :? At least your boots were the same colour and height, things could have been a lot worse :lol: No, you are not totally barking, we both are :lol:

Hope Paul has fun at the car "function" or whatever it is. We didn't venture out, it was far too wet.

It was lovely to see April having her baby, so many watching going on for 2 million I think on Youtube.

Did I mention that I am getting the Samsung S8, I know, naughty, but I just could not resist. It is not even released yet, but I pre- ordered it and it will be here by Friday, a week before it goes on general release. Cannot wait. :D:D:D Decided to buy it outright and then just go on a contract SIM and save a fortune. I will pay off the contract I am on with the money I get from selling the S7 Edge. Sorted. Happy Bunny.

Hi Joan, I hope you and Sue are ok and have had a reasonable Easter week end. Time is indeed, fleeting. The weeks and months just fly by. Soon your cast will be off and you will be up up and away. Is the heating working well? I do hope so.

Hi Barbara, the Easter egg hunt at the little Church sounded lovely. With all monies raised to go towards the roof.
I am sure the kids didn't mind the rain one bit, (I never did). Even less so if there were eggs to be hunted down. Then a buffet too, with CAKE, how wonderful. I can tell you were happy, no doubt about it. It is an ingredient of cake, a pinch of happiness in every bite :)

You will have to look up next time you are in this neck of the woods, you cannot miss her (Pendle). a lot of people think that the witches were hanged on Pendle Hill, but no, the trial was in Lancaster, as were the hangings

No, we didn't venture out to the rally, despite there being bacon butties, if we cannot sit in comfort at our table, then no, we will wait until this morning and have our usual, coffee's and scones. I nearly snatched some bacon butties from one of the girls the other day, they looked so good. I might, might, have to have one this week at some point.

Have you tried those Egg and Spoon, the Cadbury ones, in a little purple egg box. Not had them before. You don't need the spoon !! LOL Chilled, wonderful, three big bites and gone. Oreo Cookie filling, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I might have to get some more.

So the ENT say you need your sinuses opening and draining, ok, well, if that's what they recommend, :? As I mentioned before, procedures will be different to when I was nursing with Florence.

Hi Carol, so you had to greet the Tesco man in your nightie and D gown, don't worry. Poor love, having to finish his round before going to have his finger looked at.
Oh yes, lunch and then coffee, a double delight indeed. I hope you are feeling less sore and the bruises are fading.

Don't tell me Joan's boiler has passed on the gremlins to your boiler  :o Glad the engineer got things going and will replace the dodgy part later this week. Funny, ours kept stop starting, first thing, been ok since :?

Glad you enjoyed the Easter Service, I would love to go, but I could not sit on a pew, or anything else for that matter, for the length of a service. I would be in and out all the time. Fidgeting and needing to move.
It is a long long time since I had any Simnel cake. Over indulged, no, not possible where cake is concerned, it must have been the bhaji.
Hope you have a nice trip out today.

No definitely no lurching from beds. I am sure it is uncomfortable when sitting. Sending extra hugs.

Sunday was a slow start, my back was shouting at me from the moment I got up, more so than usual. Slightly better once all the medicines had been taken, including Tramadol, which I do not normally take in a morning. Just one of those days I guess. But, with pottering and moving, things have got done and some spring cleaning in the kitchen, OH did cupboard doors I could not get to and I did the eye level ones. All sparkly clean.

Neighbours popped in for a cuppa and a natter, didn't stop so long. Apart from that, a quiet day, people wise.

Right, I am set like stone. So I will move. Hi to everyone who is not around at the moment. Kerrin, Mig, Elizabeth, Christine and all.

Everyone take care, enjoy the Bank Holiday.

Morning Aidan I think a bacon buttie is in order for definite you sound like you need one. As for Mum having what she wants....absolutely why not? :D

I have photographic evidence of Mistress Sleek in the Churchyard before she sneaked under one of the school mobiles

    th_20170415_120455.jpg

Good job the Rev and Bob (doggie) were around to assist.

I also took this photo for Christine (was it??) of the clowns in their new tank:

    th_20170403_203320.jpg

I think you seriously should return some of the sachets - they are unopened and someone else would eat them without complaint I have no doubt.

It started to rain here and Diddicat couldn't find her rain mac so skyping was necessary yesterday. They were pulling mayonnaise faces at each other apparently which explains the mayo everywhere. Maybe we should install spyware on our laptops??

Naughty naughty you getting an S8, but why not if you have the money? Life is too short! I also paid (Paul did) outright for mine I refuse to have a contract anymore haven't done for about 4 years? sim only. I will be eager to hear all about it when it comes :D and probably covetous

I have in the past eaten boxes of the egg and spoons in the purple boxes...sigh :?

I very much hope you back is a little easier today ((()))

and that wee sleeping pusskin! adorable :)

Oooh Carol!! Caught in your nightie!!! Is that worse than me going out in two odd boots?? Not sure, but shame for the driver.

I hope your sore derriere is much better today?

I can't believe your boiler is joining in with Joan's either  I am worried about ours now too just incase it's catching!! at east it's not really cold.

As for the slight over-indulgences as we said earlier you only live once :)

Morning Barbara the easter egg hunt sounded great. I used to do one for my girls you know with clues. sigh....:( I do almost feel sad those days are over.

A very good way to fund-raise for the Church roof. I didn't mention the tiles are back on ours - I missed that happen. Not sure how I am super-nosey!!

I hope the draining of sinuses isn't too horrible and works. I have a cough too with my nose. VERY annoying it's like the smoker's one I had years ago

I might need much hand holding when I go to ENT. Make sure I have the correct footwear on first and then to stop me having a panic-attack

Joan Charley's cat is fine now the kittens were a few years ago. She is a very affectionate girl. I hope you and Sue are ok and your foot is still going on ok. A bar of chocolate is by far the most sensible idea. It's raining again here

Love to everyone who hasn't been in hope you are well and having a good Easter.

Good afternoon everyone .. It's a sunny day for most of the time and not a lot of people about here .. I guess they must have all gone to the city.
Barbara While I've never been a great follower of any religious ceremonies I do find it disgusting how these are used for sheer profit making .. having said that a chocolate egg or two wouldn't go amiss here even though I am supposed to be on a diet :D
The Easter egg hunt sounds wonderful and I'm so glad you had a good time and everything went off well.

Aiden A shift in slippers? .. at least your feet were nice and comfy .. do you think that's on a par with accumulating 20 pairs of beautiful sandals that I can't wear especially being an 82yo disabled pensioner!
Samsung S8 WOW! .. if that's what floats your boat why not?!
.. as for the aches and pains in the morning I feel for you.

Christine Fancy you eyeing up the tradesmen :o
.. at least I'm not the only one .. I just had some curtains and a kitchen blind fitted by Hillarys and he was a bit of a hunk and I had to get him back as the kitchen blind wasn't right .. I consider that a little bit of compensation for my trouble

Toni You're not alone on the eating of eggs and/or chocolate of any kind .. I could happily munch my way through half a dozen or more no problem!

Joan Glad you have your boiler fixed now .. I am very fortunate in that being a council tenant and a disabled OAP any boiler problems are seen to immediately within the hour.

Carol Luke warm showers would be a complete no-no for me .. I like mine really hot! Hope you get it sorted okay.
So difficult to keep to a diet when presented with lots of goodies isn't it .. nice to indulge now and again though on special occasions.

Hope you are all having a good Easter and enjoying the sunshine today .. I'm doing my usual and whiling away the hours generally doodling and looking out of my window over the park.

    Love to all :sun:

I'm feeling very sad and weepy. Firstly my friend's sister has fallen asleep in death.

Secondly, I think it's because I've cut my Oramorph down (still on Fentanyl) but I'm really missing my daughter so much. I keep looking a her photos and bursting into tears. No reason why.

Hallo Kathleen .. I'm so sorry about your sister's friend .. it's always a difficult time for anyone but I do hope you will get some help to deal with your sadness.
Cutting down on your meds is a problem as you're obviously have that to contend with the withdrawal symptoms I presume and that is adding to your being tearful along with missing your daughter too. Can you try to get your mind onto something else? It may be very difficult but it will help to get you back to a better place.

I suffer from depression and I know only too well what it is like feeling so down and crying for the least thing .. and feeling alone .. which I am anyway most of the time which doesn't help.
Take care .. lots of hugs and kind thoughts coming your way (((Hugs)))

    Evening all

hope you have had a good day we managed to get out today we went to a very large park a bus ride well 2 buses to be exact away from where we live and walked and walked for what seemed miles around the park, far more walking than my body usually gets so may have a bit of payback tomorrow but well it will be worth it and of course a cup of tea and another naughty piece of cake . it made me think of one of the days over Easter 46 years ago when I was 8and a half months pregnant and did the same, and the next day our eldest daughter was born about 10 days early.:lol:.

Aiden Yes felt sorry for him really. and my bruises are fading nicely and rear end is not so bad now but it sure was uncomfortable for a few days. yes seems the boiler gremlins have got at my boiler too, but all is ok at the moment and only 2 days to go till he comes with the part. its a pity you cannot get to an easter service and you may be right with the Bhaji as I love them. no more lurching I promise.

Joan Had a good but tiring day today. and it seems as if the boiler gremlins have hit my house now.

Toni well Nightie odd boots not quit sure think I may prefer the odd boots myself as long as they were not odd colours :D yes the derriere is improving. well be careful with your boiler hope the gremlins don't get to it. the only thing with our is that it also affects the hot water. the only thing about the overindulgence is concerned is that it has gone on since Friday and I don't want to spoil my record at sw tomorrow as if I am still in target I have managed to achieve 3 years.

Charrisse we are lucky our shower is electric and not connected to the boiler but the boiler is ok at the moment and we have 2 days to go and the engineer will fix the new part. yes treat now and hen not three days of treats  I do Slimming world and I just don't want to go out of my target zone tomorrow when I go to my group and weigh in as I will have achieved 3 years at target. so fingers crossed.

Kathleen Sorry to hear about your friends sister and missing your daughter you are bound to feel tearful be kind to yourself sending you some hugs (((((((( Hugs )))))))))

take care everyone look after yourselves
    Stay positive always👍xx

Barbara the fish are VERY happy indeed in their bigger tank :) I love watching them too.

Mistress Sleek is locked in safe overnight so hopefully she'll be ok. The rd is only 30mph :?

Sim only is definitely the way to go. The amount I must have paid over the odds in the past!

Charisse I am so glad you have found our little café you fit in perfectly we are a caring bunch. :D

That view over your park is fabulous and a good way to while away any hour!

I hope your diet is going ok most of the time - if it is you can have a little chocolate sometimes :)

We have had a good day here with some sunshine and at least no cold wind.

Kath you poor thing. You have been through so much already. Perhaps the death of your friend's sister so unexpectedly has made you worry about Emily and be extra anxious about her?

Is it possible to slow down the decrease in morphine? Maybe the doctor could advise?I am sending you huge ((())) and hope things ease for you soon.

Carol how lovely remembering another Easter just before your daughter was born. Remember the easter 1995 Charley was a tiny premature baby, but I was able to have her in her vest only it was a heatwave!! :)

Can you skip SW this week? Mind you if it's the 3 year anniversary...???

Yes boots were both black so would be better than being caught in your nightie!!

Mad day ahead for me tomorrow

    Love to you all

    HI Barbara

yes my memory date back to 1970 think it was quite warm then too, I could Skip weigh in but as it will be the three years I am not so sure weather it will be ok if I then find myself out of target next week, but I may see what I am on my scales in the morning and if I am still in target on them (they always weigh me heavier than the sw world scales) I will go to the morning group (as you always weigh less in the morning) instead of my usual evening group. so being a bit crafty really.  glad the boots were both black :D hope you have a good day tomorrow .

    take care
