Evening to one and all. I th ink we need a sign over our doors, "drop in center".  Neighbours from all sides were in and nattering at various points in the afternoon.

You lost your post Toni, ooops, that happened last week too. No pressing of buttons :?
That's ok, we needed a mummy Tapir to show the babies and the petting areas will be nice and cozy for them all.

Yes, Mum does get tired more quickly now. She had a good nap after everyone had gone yesterday. Little one is a sweetie. Mum was ok today, seemed brighter.

I did spot that post, I will have a look. Pepe has been off his food today, well, not eating as much as normal. Have held off the mayo and the butter. We don't want any "incidents". I have eaten his share :lol:

Good to hear that Lucy is doing so well, she can move a lot further than me, that's for sure. Great progress and great credit.

Hi Barbara yes, we had a nice time with family, they never overstay, with the travelling to and from adding up to about 3 hours - I know they are a lot younger, but they need to kick back a little too, they are always here there and everywhere.

So it was your OH who kidnapped the cheesecake. You don't like it, well, knock me down with a feather. Not to worry, I will share your portion with OH - sorry, did I just say that I would share cake :o
Sacked from singing Carols, that's not very charitable at any time, let alone in the season of goodwill. I would play like Les Dawson now, my fingers would not go where I wanted them to. I would have a go. Sadly we didn't win the lottery, so the Grand piano will have to wait a while.
I love the idea of the monkeys tail on the backpack. It isn't safe for them to walk off on their own, not at all.

We love bees, we try and have lots of plants to attract bees, bugs and butterflies. Plus the birds, who like to eat the seeds off the plants when the flowers go over. I adore butterflies. Mum and Dad used to breed Elephant Hawk Moths, they were amazing to see.
Wasps, no, I don't do wasps, I am a screaming ninny when they dive bomb me.:lol: :? Next door has bought one of those fake wasp nests that you hang up, apparently wasps see it as a threat and will avoid the area completely. Will have to get one too, otherwise they will all move in here.

The garden center sounds like a theme park, certainly keeping the interest of the customers and children, which is good. We were at our GC today as well, scones so fresh they were falling apart with all the butter :)
Look forward to seeing a pic of Jurassic Park

Joan I hope you are doing ok, hopping and using the wheelchair, nearly a week post op, time flies. Won't be long till the plaster it off. Take lots of care and love to you both and the doggies.

You are very welcome Kath, I thought it was neat and tidy and easy to keep clean and fresh. With easy access for feeding and continuous stroking. :)

Hi Carol, not at all, we are all concerned about each other and what happened was terrible. No wonder you GD was nearly at fever pitch, I would have been too. So sorry she has post natal depression, it is horrid, I have nursed mum's in the past who have had it. Every blessing and lots of love and light on its way.
The "mother" who is sending all the vile comments and shocking language is obviously so unhappy with her life that she has nothing better to do, than spread her ill feeling on to others. Rise high above it.
I feel sorry for her daughter, with a mother like that as a role model. Let's hope that the headteacher nips things in the bud very quickly.

Hope Mr T goes on ok at the Drs, hope they can sort the bad chest out, sound to have gone on long enough for sure.

That's a lovely Hive Toni, we will have a few of them for sure :)

Good to hear the Mr T has some AB's now and a chest x ray to make sure they are working. It seems to have been a bad winter for coughs that have lingered on.
Bless, it is horrid when you lay down and start coughing, have been there afore.

Sadly, so many children are learning some terrible habits from parents who don't give a damn basically.

Right I had better think about pottering again, it is a wonder I am not logged out, up, down, write a bit, move, write a bit, move.

Love to everyone and special hugs to Elizabeth, Kerrin, Mig and all those who need them at this time.

Oooh Barbara, I thought for a bit we'd been invaded by dinosaurs.

We seem to have a lovely collection in the petting zoo. I agree, we definitely need a mummy tapir. Perhaps I should look for a few cuddly toys for them all. I'll have a think.

Went on the Sawley trail. I took 2 paracetamol at 5am, but didn't take my Oramorph. My Fentanyl was due to be changed too. When I got home, I was in agony. So took Oramorph and changed my patches. Within 30 mins I felt more comfortable. Well at least I know they are working. :D

How about a few of these?

    Evening All

Its me again I know twice in one day not normally heard of what is happening :?: :? :

Aiden, Joan and Barbara yes Mr T has Clarithromycin he also has Mometasone nasal spray which is a nasal spray used for asthma and allergic rhinitis in other words hayfever I know that as I use it myself for hayfever. and is going to go to the hospital for his chest x-ray on Thursday. so hopefully by two weeks we should have some answers.

As far as the goings on with GD and Lillie are concerned I don't think we will know much more about that until they go back to school and GD has spoken with head teacher. But I agree some mums think there children are beyond doing anything wrong and it is never their little darlings fault its always the other child :lol: I do feel sorry for my GD though she is a brilliant mum and her children are a credit to her so much so that Lillie's teacher has told her on more than one occasion that she is a pleasure to teach and is so friendly and polite now does that sound like a child who would be pinning others to the wall without any reason as other mother says she did no I don't think so somehow. and GD is having enough problems wit the post natal depression as it is without this on top. fortunately Lillie is not saying anything about it at the moment as she has been kept busy the last few days going out today I understand they went swimming. and yesterday my Youngest GD and her school friend had Lillie and her cousin and another little boy out at the park and GDs friend had them all sitting and laying on her, looked as if all were having good fun. Youngest Gd loves taking her out.

and your right I really wonder how the vile mothers daughter will grow up with that sort of role model I think we can all guess how

loving all the animals in the petting area and Aiden the cakes and pastries are divine. Barbara loving the pictures of the dinosaurs when my Grandson was small he loved them he called them saw saws

well must move as getting stiff joints and also need to take the washing out of the machine.

will pop in again soon for cuppa and cakes and time visiting the animals.

just caught you there Toni that's brilliant news that Lucy is still in remission.
    Stay positive always👍xx

Carol, I hope your GD does manage to get things sorted out soon with the bullying. It's a terrible worry for everyone. Hope Mr T's antibios work quickly and the x-rays turn out ok.

Toni, wonderful news. Lucy is doing so well with her exercises. I remember those reins. They were quite good really but the back pack one sounds more fun.

Kath, it's good to know your meds are working. Glad it didn't take too long to start working.

Barbara, love the dinosaurs. I think they'll need to stay outside or they'll take the roof off the café. Maybe they were a bit big for Niamh. Hope all is well with your GD and she just wanted to spend some time with you.

Aiden, you have been busy with visitors. Mum and dad bred elephant hawk moths. How wonderful. My daughter bred butterflies for a while in the conservatory. It was wonderful watching them. I didn't know that about fake wasps' nests. I'll have to give it a go.

Joan, hopefully it won't be too much longer before you can get out. Just in time for the better weather. I've managed to finish my puzzle so have cleared it away as it was on the coffee table.

Still no giraffe baby. Went to Tesco today. All I wanted was bread, a toothbrush and some cat biscuits for my hedgehog. Only remembered the bread but still managed to spend £30 on other things. While waiting for the bus home, I as interviewed by the local newspaper about anti-social behaviour around the supermarket in the evenings. There a bit of video of me saying my bit. Off to the dentist in the morning to have my wonky tooth removed. Thankfully it's my day off so I can feel sorry for myself for the rest of the day.

Evening to one and all, late again, with a day that vanished before our eyes.
Out for lunch, then from the moment we arrived home, there was one neighbour after another, one to sort their phone out, one to look for something online.............by that time it was 5pm. :o We are going to put a sign up today, "closed".:lol: :animal_busy: :animal_busy:

Hi Joan, hope you are doing ok with the hopping and the wheelchair, sending lots of kind thoughts and hugs your way. We will be there when you have your plaster changed. You should be able to take a little weight then?

You had an early start Barbara, hope all is ok with GD, I am sure she is very much worth it and OH was kind to take her to school. We all go out of our way with family, we would not wish it any other way :)
I think after a visit to the butterfly farm in Dorset, they got into breeding Hawk Moths, then stick insects, it was like a mini zoo. Sometimes the stick insects would escape and we had them all over the place.
I thought I said share, no idea what it wrong with me, lol.

The pictures are great, they are life size too, quite an attraction, how garden centers have changed over the years.

Hi Kath, we do indeed have quite a zoo coming along. You did well on the Sawley trail, glad the pain relief kicked in and worked well. I bet it was needed after your ventures.
The lamb is wonderful, he looks a bit like Lamb Chop with Shari Lewis, that's going back a while now.
We definitely need them, Toni wants one and I do too, please and thank you :)

Toni, I am so pleased to hear that Lucy is still in remission, such wonderful news, if I could, I would do star jumps  :?
certainly good news from Dr Tim, I am sure you will all be totally over the moon. Treats all round me thinks :) I had read that you were off to the hospital, but senior moments were upon me as to the day. Big oops and apologies.

I think Miss Sleek popped over while we were out, there were clumps of fur on the carpet, sure fire evidence of serious carpet gliding.

Hi Carol, you post as many times as you like, I usually post twice, but the past few days have been a blur and just vanished.
Glad that Mr T is on AB's, Clarithromycin is a good one, I have not heard of it for a long time. It is quite a strong one so should sort his bad chest out. Mometasone is an effective steroid, used in quite a few formulations, ie sprays, creams etc.

I guess it is a waiting time until the school opens again after Easter holidays. I am sure the head will help sort the situation out. It is not something that you want to happen again, you GD has enough to contend with, without nasty parents venting their own frustrations.
Good that Lillie is being a busy bee and enjoying the holidays. Good to know she is happy and active, playing and having fun.

Hi Christine, I know what you mean about popping into the shop for a couple of things and coming out with a trolley full. We did the same today, went into Tesco with a list, not a mile long. £70 later  Blimey, it soon adds up. I will get over the shock in a day or two. :?
Yes, the faux wasp nests are very good apparently, we will certainly get one as I loathe wasps with a passion. I know they are good in the garden and eat loads of greenfly, but, they have no reason to dive bomb me as soon as I set foot outside the door.

Interviewed about anti social behaviour, well, I would still be there, on a roll and putting the country to rights. Bring back some old fashioned discipline, it did us no harm at all.

Hope all goes ok at the dentist and your wonky tooth is soon dealt with. Hugs in advance. I will leave some very soft cakes and goodies.

Right my friends it is going up for 1am, so I am well past the point of turning into a pumpkin.

Hi to those who are not about at the moment, Mig, Kerrin, Elizabeth, thinking of you and sending hugs.

    Everyone take lots of care.

Morning everyone. Sorry I've been missing in action. Had quite a busy and stressful last week of school and am now enjoying some time off. Going into London today to look at wedding dresses so a girly day out.

Just worked out why Tommy cat is putting on weight! He is eating Jerry cat's food as well as his own. Moved her bowl upstairs to the room where he doesn't venture to! Cheeky.

Hello Kerrin!! So long as you are ok that's all that matters!

    Naughty Tommy cat

Have a lovely day out with the girlies and I hope you find a lovely dress too :)

Morning Aidan - I love the pink sparkly night night :)

What a busy day you had in your drop-in centre!!! Closed sign definitely in order methinks too :)

Thank you Dr Tim was very happy to see Lucy waving her arm and her bloods all in order :D We were too and Charley's GF has got a job too so I am over the moon :D

Indeed Sleek did come over to see you while we were out she said the weather was too good not to

She will be over later with some 'gourmet casserole sachets' that she doesn't like

Christine hello :) No giraffe baby :( Poor April it really can't be much longer can it?

I have saved a fortune being here because I can't just 'nip' into Tesco for a few bits and come out £70 lighter :? We may need the link to your little video please :)

We'll be under the cloak and will try to catch your tooth so you can put it under your pillow tonight. Need to recoup some of that money you spent in Tesco.

Carol I am also trying mometasone for my blocked nose (had it 2 years now

I hope the chest Xray shows only something easily treated.

Most of all I hope the dust settles and by the time Easter is over the anger of that Mother has diminished a bit.

How lovely that youngest GD enjoys taking Lillie out!! :D

Thanks Carol Lucy will be just fine - even helped a newly diagnosed lass with the same leukaemia :)

Kath it's so good that you are now mostly the right side of your pain and if you get the wrong side can easily deal with it now :)

Barbara those dinosaurs are MASSIVE I would be scared!!!

and guess what? In the lift at the QE a little boy stood with a backpack on with a tail!!!

Lucy stays with her Nan when something has happened maybe upset over a boy or friend. Once or twice a year now! I hope your GD is ok.

Joan I knew you were there yesterday I could hear your wheels!! Thank you and I know you will be happy that Lucy is still in remission. Next apt 3 months time :)

    Love to everyone!

    Good Morning all
Its a lovely bright sunny day here this morning don't know how warm it is until I go out but at least its bright.

Yes Aiden it is a matter of waiting until the kids go back to school before knowing much more on that score yes our youngest GD is a good girl really she gets on with her sister a brother very well they may argue at times but they all are very close to on another and supportive of one another which is a good thing. and Lillie adores her auntie and uncle.

Toni glad Lucy was able to help a newly diagnosed girl its lovely when they can do that glad Lucy is doing so well her self .
and yes hoping all is well and sorted when Lillie goes back to school and that the headteacher nips it in the bud before it gets any worse.

I too hope that the chest x-ray goes ok.

speak to you all later maybe who knows :?:

Aiden, I don't blame you putting up a closed sign. You do need some time to yourselves. My son kept stick insects. You never knew when you'd find one hanging off a curtain. Tesco are going to switch off the free wifi in the evenings to try to stop the youngsters gathering. Might work. We will see. Thank you for the soft cakes.

Kerrin, don't worry about not getting in to the cafe. Make the most of your time off and get some rest. Hope you found a wedding dress. I'm sure you will have had a lovely time trying them on. So Tommy has been eating Jerry's food. How naughty. I used to have a mother and 2 daughters Pyrenean mountain dogs. One of the daughters often used to eat her mum's food. We had to stand over them to make sure they all got enough.

Toni, it must have been a great feeling seeing Lucy waving her arms and finding her bloods were right. Dr Tim must be elated to see a patient doing as well as her. Congratulations to Charley's GF on getting her job. One of the zookeepers explained that giraffes carry their young for 15 months but can give birth 30 days either side. April seems to have come to a standstill. Here's the link for the interview. I'm the 2nd person interviewed in the video at the top. http://www.gazettelive.co.uk/news/teesside-news/tesco-polices-plans-tackle-ingleby-12845418#ICID=sharebar_twitter

Carol, isn't it lovely when siblings get on so well. I hope the head does sort things out straight away when Lillie goes back. You must be proud to hear that she is a privilege to teach.

Joan, the dentist told me to rest today so I did. I did do a little ironing but that was all. I hope you are coping well. Are you managing to get out in to the garden for a bit?

Barbara, we are all having such problems with posting. It is so easy to catch another key or click the post off. After watching April for over 3 weeks now, Chester zoo announced that one of their giraffes beat her and has had a baby.

I was really nervous by the time I got to the dentist. She is such a lovely woman though so I calmed down a bit. She did an x-ray first then numbed my mouth and explained that as the teeth were so tight together it was going to be difficult to get the wonky one out and it could damage the ones either side. I couldn't stop shaking but she had the tooth out in seconds with no problems. She told me to be nil by mouth for a few hours. I really, really wanted a cup of tea but managed to wait till mid afternoon and I really enjoyed it. I'm very glad it's gone now. I can actually close my teeth together now. Eating was getting a bit difficult.

A good evening to one and all. I might even get most of this written before midnight.
The "closed" sign on the doors, kind of worked, apart from our next door neighbour, who popped in twice, once for a natter and once to fix her home phone. If we had put a sign on she would have said "did you know you had a sign on your door":lol::lol:

Hi Kerrin, lovely to see you and glad you are taking some time to rest up after busy times at school. The Easter break will be very welcome I am sure.
Enjoy your girly time and the shopping, for a dress too, exciting. I love noseying in bridal shops, all that glitz and glamour.........what am I like, if it sparkles, I want it, lol
Good that you have resolved the overeating of Tommy puskins. They are naughty, but lovely.

Hi Toni So happy that Lucy's bloods etc were all in order and that Dr Tim was pleased to be waved to :) Wonderful and Charlies GF has a job too, way to go, no wonder you are feeling happy. Kind of Lucy to help a newly diagnosed patient, very kind indeed.

Thank Miss Sleek for the sachets, I am not sure where Pepe has put them, he was not so impressed and I did hear the bin lid close  there's gratitude for you  He has a picture for you and for Miss Sleek, she missed him when he was ironing board gliding.

    20170405_162357_zpsyqzgqx7b.jpg

Finally, he took notice that the ironing board was out and it was play time. He likes a brush when he is on there, but gets a bit excited so you have to dodge the claws

I bet you have saved some, not being able to pop into a supermarket for a few bits and coming out with a mountain of things. I always go with the best intentions. Never works.

OH took another picture of the mouse plant, now that it is growing like mad. Look at all the tails now !!

    20170405_150134_zps7mzdkftu.jpg

Mum n Dad are ok, they popped in earlier in the day for a coffee and a croissant, we do like our croissants, with extra butter of course. One needs the calcium. :? She has a witlow on her thumb, so is on AB's at the moment. Otherwise doing ok

Hi Carol It turned out to be a nice day, it was chilly this morning, so heating on, then boiled, so heating off - it's that time of year, between warm and cold.
I do hope things settle at school and are sorted, if the grouchy woman is still giving it large after the Easter break then she is not worth a light. Good that all your family get on and they enjoy being together and playing.

We will be out with the cloak to attend x ray with Mr T. Our pocket duties are not limited to cafe dwellers, they extend far and wide :)

Hi Joan, how is your foot, not too painful I trust. Not long now until they change the dressing and cast. You are right, when someone is really polite, it is a rarity, not the norm, as it used to be.
We were busy, that's for sure. Less so today, so I had time to catch up with housey things, washing and ironing, OH titivating in the garden, feeding the plants etc.
Sending hugs to you, Sue and the doggies, take lots of care.

Oh Barbara, what did you do, no extra tapping of keys, things vanish.
The GC is huge, with life size Dinosaurs it must be. Like yours, the one near here started off really small, must a little nursery, now it is a multi million pound company. The furniture and home ware is absolutely huge and so so gorgeous, you could spend hundreds of thousands in no time at all. We go in sometimes and I need everything :lol: :?
Quite a few people breed stick insects, they are really cute, but they can run and hide so quickly. We used to gather fresh privet for them, every day. (mostly from other people's gardens). oops. me a Vicar's Son too.

Glad that your new GP is lovely, it makes the world of difference. Medication review time. Makes me laugh when they do mine, oh you are on this, that and everything in between, anyway, you need them all, so that's that sorted, if you don't take them you will not function. OK then.

Hi Christine I hope your mouth is not too sore, it is so swift when they take a tooth out (usually), you sort of lay there, pinned to the chair and think I hope it is over soon and they have already done it. Glad you will be able to close your teeth together now and eat normally once your gum has healed. I bet you were ready for a cuppa.

Good idea that Tesco are turning off their WiFi at night, it will put the youngsters off I am sure, I don't like it when they are gathered in groups.
Thank you for posting the interview :) we need your autograph now please :)

Now we are in to Friday, I knew that intermittent pottering would steal my time.

April has still not given birth, goodness, 30 days either side of 15 months, that is a long gestation. Let's hope she gives birth soon and all is well.

We are off to Skipton today, to meet up with my Aunt and Uncle, no doubt it will involve lots of coffee, cakes and the like. It will be busy with it being Easter Holidays, so will avoid Mark's. We have not been in months now, we are being good.

I had better post, before I loose anything, I would throw all my teddies out of the pram.

Hi to Mig and Elizabeth and everyone else. I won't be able to post a third picture for g night, so I will put that in a separate posting.

love to all, take lots of care XXXXX Aidan

    Morning everyone :)

Aidan Mrs Fat-neck was back!! Lost another two collars in the last 2 weeks (didn't mention  ) so 2 more purchased another £26  Finally got collar on with the help of Charley.

As for the food yep in the bin is very wise, but luckily Charley's cat will eat almost anything - including popadoms if no-one is watching

What spectacular gliding!!! We are full of admiration here  Pepe ought to glide for the Paw-lympic team :D

Glad Mum and Dad are ok and that Mum is on anti b's for the infection in her finger.

Keep AWAY from the store keep AWAY!! my advice

The tails on the plant!! WOW!! I wonder whether Diddi would have her nose in there or sit waiting for one to move
Enjoy your visit today I hope Aunt and Uncle are well.

Christine!! I am horrified  stick insects on the curtains!!! Maybe they ate the sp**ers though??

I think Dr Tim must feel so sad that the treatment causes the bone trouble for some of his unluckier patients. So yes he had a great smile and was so pleased she got given priority for a cancellation.

Thank you for the link!! Fame at last :) You look good girl!!

I hope April does give calf soon bless her. So really there's 2 months either way. The poor things :(

I am so glad the dentist was kind and you didn't suffer at all even better that you are already more comfortable :D

Barbara every 4 years will be great!! I hope we can get some of Lucy's appointments down to a more reasonable number so that whatever she does in the future isn't constantly disturbed by appointments :) She has 4 consultants without normal dentists and GPs :?

It's a horrible feeling when one is looming, but elation when it's all good :D

I am glad that your new GP was nice such a relief isn't it? I really don't like going at all :( Even if the doc is nice I feel all...on the back-foot maybe?

Joan How is your foot/ankle doing? Does it feel any less painful yet? Lucy found the worst pain to be the first week and more at night.

Carol it was chilly with a breeze yesterday, but bright is always welcome :)

Lucy was happy to help that girl, but didn't mention her new shoulder or hip operation incase it scared them even more!! She looks so well that they could see the success of the cancer treatment :D

We'll be thinking of you today for Mr T's chest X-ray. I expect the infection might show up on it?

I hope he is on the mend now.

Hello to Kath hope pain is still under control :)

Love to all our absent friends.

Kerrin, Elizabeth and mig. and anyone else I forgot ((()))

Good day to all .. I'm a bit of a wanderer so I don't post very much but thought I would give you a visit .. hope that's okay :)
My painful back has been very bad on and off for the last 6 months or more to the point where I have been unable to do very much at all .. thankfully I have a home help who comes once every fortnight for a couple of hours to do the vacuuming dusting and ironing which is a great help.
My only outing is going to a knitting group for an hour or so depending on how I am that day .. and we all knit for charities. Apart from that I go once a month to a group called "The Good Old Days" which sort of speaks for itself :D
I would love to have a little dog but living in an upstairs flat and not being able to always go out wouldn't be sensible unfortunately!

Next time I visit I will have had an opportunity to get to know everyone better and then be able to join in the conversation.. looking forward to then .. take care everyone :D
All the world is mad except thee and me and even thee's a little odd!

Quick visit. Having had a very bad time lately I've bee stuck upstairs a lot and missed a family wedding (first one for years).

The infusion worked for all of 2 days but the pain has now returned plus my right hand has gone bonkers-my hands have always been fine.

I had a trip to hip consultant and got the okay to book a date for a THR but could not walk down to admissions, due to my pain, so have now got lost in the system. I feel like I'm being penalised for not being well enough to walk a long distance to the booking department. So now got to work out a way to complain and get booked in

Hope every body (and their cats) are coping well. Think I saw a post about Joan being unwell. Sorry I missed you Joan but hope you are now feeling better.

    Love to all,
    Elizabeth xxx

oh Elizabeth you are having a rough time, firstly, a thousand hugs. Good to see you, I think a lot of us were worried as to how you are doing.
My advice would be to speak to the PALS at the hospital, they are excellent and really helpful, when people have problems, concerns, or complaints with regard the hospitals services / etc. Their contact will be online for your hospital, or the switchboard would put you through to them.
I will write more later and reply to everyone. In the meantime, you take care and I will send lots of love and light. XXXX Aidan
