afternoon to one and to all. A bright, sunny and very warm day again here. 17 degrees the car said, that is more than enough for me for the whole year.

Hi Toni, I think we felt like we were on holiday for a while, still do at times, feeling blessed.
They are SO warm, warmer than standard build houses, well insulated. We have two huge bay windows in the lounge and we a re set up high, our base is about 4 foot high at the front, before the park home went on it, so we have no one walking past the windows, well, if they are 12 foot tall, then yes :lol:

I think our hall is a hall in the daytime and then it turns into a landing at night. :) I certainly don't miss struggling up stairs to go to bed.

Proboscis is a word for nose, there are proboscis monkeys and they have huge hooters (kettle calling pot black there) The mouse plants are wonderful, OH has put them on the decking at the back door, they love shade and damp.

Glad the choir practice went well and that the lovely lady managed to come to take part and enjoy herself, how wonderful. Made up for her, bless.
Oh yes, the gravel crunches, we park at the back, near the ramp, everywhere crunches now, so we are warned if there is anyone coming to the doors. I say we park, the Royal We. OH parks very well at the back lol.

Glad the babies were all fed and talking of food I am sure the warm croissants went down a treat.

Of course, pepe would not be greedy, never in a month of Sundays. Much. He said that Miss Sleek was not happy with the new babies in the cafe and was throwing her teddies out of the pram.

Ours don't like visitors either, they are funny aren't they, Mother goes to bed and has nothing to do with them. Pepe starts with the feed me routine and Cookie lies there snoring.

Am I on the rota, oh yes, I have done another and deleted my name a few dozen times, so others can have a turn with the babies.

Your Sister has done very well indeed, all credit to her.

Hi Joan, lovely to see you, take care of your foot and take care when hopping. We don't want you to be up skittled. We moved in here in 2009.
Plenty of rest now, we want you up and running asap :)

It was warm last night Barbara, I was throwing bed covers off, then on, then off.............
The static vans are really lovely too, not as wide as ours obviously, but they have en suites and every luxury............they have quite a few up near the office that are for sale, we like to nosey at them :)

As you are just 50, then you would be able to move in to one right away :)

Mum is ok, she is doing her insulin without problems, so that's good and her BM has come down a bit. We enjoyed our GC trip with coffee and scones.

Glad your OH is feeling a lot better, hope you enjoyed your trip out.

Hi Kath, of course we can take another into the fold, bless the little one. Hope you are ok and not walking too far. Take care.

Well, I had better move, pill time us upon me, once again. I will leave some cakes and T.

Hi to all those who are not around at the moment, leaving hugs. XXX Aidan

    Morning everyone

    WHITE RABBITS

Oooh just had a thought - the wee Lambie with an extra leg isn't an April fool is he? Either way Kath he is totally welcome all lambies must be protected :D

Joan!!! Welcome welcome welcome back!! :D If course they can plaster a foot/ankle  . I shall explain to Lucy. I bet the dogs went mad when you got home :)

Barbara I am busy feeding lambies with one hand. It's quite easy really and so enjoyable. The tapirs have to be done at the same time as each other they get jealous and push in otherwise. I see Aidan's name is only down the same number of times as the rest of us now

You know I would consider a park home if I were you. Being just over 50.

I am glad your OH is feeling better now. It was great to have the lady with us especially for me as she's an alto.

Aidan Pepe does similar tricks to Miss Slimkins when visitors come. He's trying to get you out of the room away from them!!

The others are wiser and just ignore them ;) I don't know whether His Nibbs has had a word, but she's a bit better about all the café babies today.

Such good news that Mum is coping well with her insulin and it's working :)

As for looking at vans/houses/bungalows for sale who on earth wouldn't??:wink:

My sister does do well - she is an artist and very talented. As a reward for reaching her target she has had her hair cut proper 'scatty artist' do :)

Crunchy gravel... sigh!( place wistful smilie here) how lovely :)

Mouse plants like shade? I see we have an area of shade.....

Right I hope everyone is well especially those who haven't been in for a cuppa (Aidan you can take their share of baby feeding),

    love

oh the best laid plans of mice and men.................

Apologies for not posting my good night wishes, I was SO engrossed in the Federa Kyrgios tennis match, three sets all tie breakers. When we looked at the clock it was 3am.......

So, restful day, have lunch, then can sit down and write a little...........next door popped round, so that time went as well. I dare not leave without putting afternoon T out.

Love the fish tank Toni, Barbara has very rude clients waking them up at silly o clock.
Joan is doing well and we can keep an eye on things in the ward.
Kath, the lamb does have 5 legs, poor mite.

I have fed all the babies.

Promise to write later.........promise, even if it is to say HI and Bye, lol.

Evening all thank you for all your replies

even although I don't always pop in its lovely to get all your replies this is a great group.
well the last two days has been somewhat annoying hearing of not very pleasant goings on with family. yesterday my granddaughter had problems at lillies school with another child bullying her and pushing her but said childs mother claimed it is our Lillie who is bullying her daughter granddaughter has also received messages from this parent telling her she needs to watch her back when the kids go back to school after the easter break. granddaughter has even asked the teacher if Lillie has been bullying but teacher says no. my granddaughter has a meeting with the head teacher when they go back to school. at the moment Lillie is telling her mum she dose not want to go back to school to be hurt. :x :x this from a child who is only just 5 what is this world coming too.
And today we hear youngest granddaughter is also having a problem with a so called friend at school telling lies about her and she is understandably upset. as she has been sticking up fo this girl against others who have been unkind to her  but she is older she is 15 and is more able to handle it.kids why do we have em.:wink: the funniest thing is both girls are the friendly type and will be loyal friends to anyone. oh well I suppose that life never easy

love all the animals in the café especially the little lamb. still missing our Snowie but we are now waiting till after our holidays that will be September and we will be going down to the Rescue centre we got snowie from to get a cat. so now have something to look forward too.

hope you are all getting some nice weather where you are our has been a bit changeable but we have had a few good days.
the café cakes are lovely Aiden but I must go now as I have a couple of jobs calling :lol:
    Stay positive always👍xx

Barbara, how terrible of the customer to do that. Quite shocking at that time of the morning. When I was married, we bought a small cottage in the country and were planning on extending it, moving in to it and having chickens and a goat and growing all our veg. It didn't work out in the end though.

Kath, I watched the video clip of the lamb and he looks happy enough.

Toni, the fish tank looks lovely. Hope you show us the fish when you get them.

Joan, everyone must have missed you. They'll all be glad you are back home now.

Aiden, I see you have fed all the babies and they are now all tucked up for the night.

Carol, it is awful to hear about bullying. Kids can be so unkind to each other. I hope it gets sorted out very quickly. You will miss Snowie for a while but it'll be lovely when you get your cat.

The weather was beautiful this morning so I went in to town to look for a present for my youngest GD who will be 4 on Monday. I wandered round and didn't find what I wanted so went to the next town. Just as we drove in to the town, everyone gasped and we couldn't believe there was snow all over and the roads were flooded. I noticed some of the shops were mopping out. One shop had a bit of ceiling which had fallen in. On the bus on the way home, one woman was telling someone that the shop she worked in flooded and they lost a lot of stock. It was in tonight's paper saying there was a lot of flooding because of heavy downpours, hail, snow, thunder and lightning. It's amazing how different the weather can be only 3 miles away.

Evening to one and all - finally, I can sit a little while. Enough with the pottering for a moment or two.

Hi Toni, yes, indeed, white rabbits, pinch punch and the like. Yes, I did alter the feeding rota. I was being greedy for stroking Tapir's and Lambs.

Ia m so pleased the lady went to Choir practice, an alto, very nice, hoe pleased she must have been.

Mum n Dad popped in, as they do, for a cuppa and a croissant. Mother turned her back on everyone, cookie went under bed covers and pepe didn't bother to move at all.

Pepe said that french butter and hellmans mayo are very good for helping with nausea - not sure who told him, Miss Slimcea??

Yes, we like having gravel all round, a lot of people have it around us, so there is plenty of crunching when cars pull in. Oh has been keeping his new gravel tidy and free from cat p**p, the neighbours cat thinks we have put a giant litter tray down !! We have put cat repellent gel on, so that seems to have worked. OH was not amused. :?

The meeces are popping up like mad on the mouse plants, I will take another picture soon, they are adorable.

Hi Barbara, I am sure you were far from pleased with the knock on the door at that unearthly hour. How rude, get him up I have a leak  Obviously he never went to charm school. I hope OH sends him a huge invoice, to allow for early morning rudeness.

So you can have your small holding, for the little animals and a petting area for visitors
We will have a woodland and meadows, to encourage bee's butterflies and insects - of course we would have to have a private T room, that goes without saying really.

I bet you had a lovely time helping with the animals when you were younger.

I am with Toni, I think you would love a Park Home.

Thanks for the link Kath, poor little lambie, he is more than welcome into the fold. I feel we could end up with a zoo :D Hope you are ok and managing to get out and about, but not tiring yourself out too much.

The Fish tank is lovely Toni, very smart, fits nicely onto the side table, which looks nice and strong.

Hi Joan lovely to see you posting again, Sue was so kind keeping us updated and is more than welcome to join in at any time. The kettle is always on.
I hope you are doing ok and managing with the hopping and getting about, with help as well from the carers. Have you been out in your buggy since you came home.
I am sure the doggies were very pleased to see you.

Hi Carol, good to see you and of course we think about everyone, even if they cannot get into the cafe for one reason or another.

How dare a parent put out what are threats, to your GD about Lilllie, who is 5 years old, OMG, I would be pitching a fit. I don't know what the world is coming to, but that is way off the mark. I am not surprised she is telling GD she does not want to go back to school, to be hurt, oh bless her. I am glad there is a meeting with the headteacher, this needs sorting as soon as, the parents of the other girl need some stern words for issuing threats. Oh my blood is boiling.

Then your youngest GD having troubles with her so called friend telling lies about her. I don't know. I am sure they will sort it out in the end. children and young adults will always have their disagreements, we we did when we were younger, things seemed to soon blow over as I recall.

I am sure you are both missing Snowie, sending hugs. September will come soon and you will have a lovely puskins.

I think we are in for some fine weather, it has been quite warm, cooler tonight and very starry, lovely to see them so clearly.

Hi Christine - so you will be having a cottage in the country with a little small holding for the animals and vegetables etc, we just need to win the lottery - we keep trying, someone has to win.
Yes, the babies are all fed and settled in their warm enclosures. Heat lamps on low, it is a bit chilly tonight.

Blimey, that was some freak weather, flash floods, terrible. I hope it went as soon as it came. We can have totally different weather here, to the town, which is only a mile and half away. We have come through pouring rain, got home and it is brilliant sunshine
Skipton gets totally different weather to us, two different valleys. Pendle has a lot of influence on our weather.

We have Nephew, wife and their youngest coming over today (Sunday) we are having a little buffet round at Mum n Dads, save going out all the time, not wanting to sound miserly, but it can get expensive.
It will be nice to see them, they have been down to London on Sat, so they will be shattered by the time they have come over here, as they live at least an hour and a half away. Still, they are young, not like old father time here.:lol:

I had better post. I am already set like stone. Wishing everyone a good night and a pleasant Sunday. hi to all those who are not about at the moment, leaving lots of hugs. XXXX Aidan

Oooh more pastries thank you Aidan and the moon wished us all a good night :)

Pepe may well have received such inaccurate advice from Miss Slimkins  she loves butter, mayo and cream if she gets the chance

She told me the gravel 'isn't right' now Pepe warned her. He also moaned about the visitors. 'Shouldn't be allowed' apparently.

Another photo of the meece plant will be lovely. the tank is a BIG one - for life I hope. the fish are in there, but look tiny. They moved from their old tank in which they looked HUGE!! the sideboard was measured so we could get the largest tank :D

Visitors today? Enjoy them and Diddicat will try to get over to support your 3 if she can. It will definitely save money to go to Mum's and be nicer in some respects.

Christine I love the little lambie too :) Adorable. I hope he won't go to.....you know where :? safer in here with us. The Farmer did intimate that he was safe enough. I love him!!

    Any news on April yet?

The fish are in the tank already, but look so small. I will try to get a photo of the clowns when they come to the side at night to 'call' me :)

Snow yesterday?? Honestly??!! Wow!! and flooding. What a weird day.

Shame about your dreams for a smallholding, but as Aidan said you could still win the lottery! If you did you could employ staff to help you and could still manage.

Carol I am not impressed with the vile Mother making threats like that!! I know us parents will support our kids, but that is taking it too far. I hope the little one will go back into school and the school can help sort it all out.

As for your 15 year old GD I can tell she is capable of sorting it out herself, but she will still be upset. What with social media teenage girls can be nasty to each other via their phones even at night while we're all asleep.

I wish I could hug both of them! :(

I am so glad you are still looking forward to getting a pusskin in September after your holiday. Vey wise to wait until then.

Joan I know you'll be in in a moment. I am glad you got a great welcome home please send our love to Sue and thanks for letting us know how you were.

Right onwards and upwards better get sorted into some gardening gear :)

    Love

    Toni xxx

Aiden, I'm looking forward to seeing the meeces as they grow. They look so interesting. Talking of meadows, my front garden is looking like one at the moment. Doesn't bother me but I bet my neighbours are wishing I'd cut it down. the ground's too soggy still anyway. Enjoy your time with family today. You don't need to go out all the time. It's lovely just being at home with them.

Toni, I think the farmer said the lamb might become a pet which would be good. We managed to get past April Fools Day and still no baby giraffe. I'd like to see your clowns, one of my favourite fish. My boss's fish always swim over to me if I'm nearby. They say they haven't been fed for weeks and would I please feed them.

Joan, hope you are managing ok but not doing too much.

I've recorded May Berry's new cookery programme. Every time I go to watch, I need to put my PIN in because I am watching it before the 10 pm watershed. What on earth do they think she is going to do or say?

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday with sun and no rain.

Had we better organise somewhere to keep the pets in bad weather? Perhaps there's space out back to build a barn, and I'm sure the tapirs would love a pool. How about a trough of clean water for drinking? Oh, and how about a bee hive or two?

:bee: :bee: :sun: :sun: :bee: :bee:

Joan, it's lovely to have you back. Hope you aren't in too much pain.

Aidan, those cakes look too good to eat, but I can't resist them.

Toni, I love the fish tank. Very relaxing to watch. Off do do some serious stroking.

Afternoon to all, a nice sunny day here, quite warm, in fact, very warm in the sun.

Not long back from Mum n Dads, Nephew, wife and great neice all well, enjoyed their time and buffet. They never overstay as they know Mum gets tired after lunch and has to rest. Good to see them none the less and the youngest is so active, she is 3, going on 30 lol. I don't know where they get their energy from. I think that is me getting older.

Walked round and back, only about 50 yards each way, but taken me a while to recover.
While I remember, I have found a petting area for the little babies.

    pettingzoo3.jpg

Also a pool for the Tapir's to go in, the love water.

    1430130710-8687c8bd0c3c0feb6273f5eae188fc67-600x359.jpg

I had to bring an adult in, just to show the baby how to use the pool.

You are welcome Toni, can never have enough pastries :) I think Pepe has taken the "advice" on board, regarding President butter and hellman's  He swears it wasn't miss Sleek, although he did warn her about the repellent gravel - one whiff and she was off. There has been carpet gliding while we have been out and all the fleecy blankets are upskittled. No idea what they have been up to.

The mouse plant is growing at a rate of knots, will give things a feed tomorrow, too jaded now. Back is screaming. OH will want to fuss in the garden as well :) he is getting very posesive over his hard works and rightly so. The neighbours at the back were saying how nice it looked. :)

Hope you managed to enjoy some time in the garden.

Thank you Joan, we have had a lovely time with family, just chilling out a bit now and ready for next lot of painkillers asap.
hope you and sue and the doggies are ok, is your foot giving you a lot of pain or discomfort. I hope not.

Don't worry about your front garden being a meadow, that was the trouble with our small lawn, it was always soaking wet, even in summer, you could not walk on it, it just turned to mud. SO much better now.

No, you don't have to go out every time, with family, was much better to natter at home. Having said that, we will be out for coffee in the morning, always on a Monday, coffee and scones. Just the 4 of us.

I am glad the lamb will become a pet, wonder if they will operate to remove the extra limb, I am sure they will, in time.

Has Mary Berry gone all risque' having to put your pin in to watch her latest programme. Who would have thought lol.

Poor Barbara, sacked from the choir, I would have been too. I can play, but I don't do singing. Well, I could play.

The buffet was very nice, not too much, but more than enough to go round and there is always food left over. None of the American Cheesecake was left over though  :? Wasn't me, honest. I shared it all out equally, well, reasonably equal lol. With light creme fraiche it was delicious.

So you have problems with neighbours cats, oh dear. Some say soak some T bags in Jeys fluid and leave them laying about, puts them off apparently. I love the smell of it myself.

I bet OH was fuming, rightly so. I think maybe retirement would be a good idea, then move into a lovely park home :)
Hope you enjoyed the ducks and the swans with Niamh. On reigns, good idea, we see too many kiddies wandering off while their mothers are busy on their phones.

I hope the petting are is ok Kath, there are heated shelters for them too. Plus a pool and every other pampering aid.

I have stroked them and fed them. Oh yes, we can have a bee hive and then grow rows of lavender for them to feed on. Wonderful honey.

Right, time for pills and they are much needed. Love to everyone and to those who are not around at the moment, sending hugs, far and wide.
    Later XXXXX Aidan

I lost my post again :( Grrrr my own fault I think.

Aidan I know I thanked you for the sweet little mouse asleep with his book....also very much for the outdoor area and trough for the babies and commented on the kind adult tapir coming in to teach the babies how to use it :)

I also said that you have good family. To visit Mum and Dad, but be aware how tired she gets. the little one sounds a blessing :D

I also said have a look at the post below: present at 2am. Palo has a Diddicat methinks!!!

Please tell Pepe that an overdose in said 'medicines' president butter and mayo can also result in nausea.

And of course much gliding will have occurred in your absence what did you expect?

Kath of course you were right about all the babies they should be able to enjoy the outdoors!! have you seen what Aidan found? Perfect!!

I was thinking we should let an area go to wild plants-wise too and yes maybe a hive? :)

Oh Barbara :(:( how very rude of them sacking you from choir  shocking!! I am sure you have the voice of an angel :?

Did they still share the earnings with you?

Pepe has listened to Diddicat yes  he is fairly easily lead I'm afraid unless he is doing the leading!!

The bot is indeed out already has been for a few weeks and need me to clean his wheels on leaves :?

How did you get on with Niamh's 'lead'. Sounds like a good idea to be honest. Safety first :)

Christine you'll need a scythe the do your front lawn!! Some sun due this week so hopefully it will be better soon.

The fish are definitely after food!!! Their memories are a quite long aren't they? The clowns didn't oblige last night, but maybe tonight.....

Naughty Mary Berry!! tut tut I didn't know she had it in her

So no baby for April yet? Poor thing :(

Joan Lucy is doing so well :) She's able to 180 degrees front and side now and is working on resistance in her pecs which will prevent dislocation. How about you?

Sun's out already I hope everyone has a nice day, but not too hot so I hope we all have a good day.

Love to those who having been in recently. I am a bit worried about Elizabeth and Kerrin :?

    good afternoon all

I did write a post this morning but it seems to have disappeared .
so here we go again weather here is sunny and quite warm in the sun.

thank you all for your concerns and comments about the as you say Toni vile mother making threats to my GD over Lillie. spoke to my GD on Saturday and Lillie seems ok at the moment, so we will see what happens when they go back to school after the Easter Holidays. My GD has a meeting with the head teacher at the school on the day they go back so we will then see how he deals with the matter. Aiden I think my GD was feeling like pitching a fit poor girl she is also suffering with post natal depression after having Graycie so really dose not need this on top. some of the things this woman has put in instant messages are as you say vile the language is beyond belief. to be honest I feel sorry for her daughter having a mother like that.

Mr t has a drs appointment tonight he has had a cough for over a month now with a stuffed up nose he has already seen dr once because it was causing extra hearing problems than he has already Dr told him to use olbas oil for the blocked nose and come back in a couple of weeks if he still has it still has it so is going back tonight see what Dr says tonight so need to do dinner early to have before seeing dr .

will pop in later and update you all hope weather is good with you and you have enjoyed todays sun
    Stay positive always👍xx

Oh Carol poor Mr T he sounds to be suffering a lot bless him :(

Now I am very pleased to hear your GD has an appointment with the head-teacher who had jolly well better have a plan to deal with it. Of course this is the last thing she needs after having had Graycie :? Some people are just not normal are they? :(

The daughter will grow up vile too with a mother who can say things that bad.

Isn't it lovey Kath :) Now we just need a hive for our bees :)

Joan it hurts the rest of you when you have to hop doesn't it? Thank you Lucy is working hard and can't wait to show Dr Tim tomorrow. Last time he saw her she was in agony with her shoulder pre-op :)

Barbara it's a back-pack lead then? What a great idea :) Keeps Niamh safe and also is fun. We had walking reins do you remember? they also attached to the inside of the pram for safety in there.

Was Niamh ok with the dinosaurs? Life-size sounds a bit scary to me

Yes I am hoping Kerrin is ok and of course our Elizabeth.... :?

evening Toni Mr T now on antibiotics and got to go up to hospital and get a chest xray done his main problem is he cough especially at night at 2.30 this morning he was coughing and came out into the living room so as not to disturb me as I had go up to go to the loo he seemed after about half an hour in the living room to stop coughing and got some sleep and when I got up at 6 he went back to bed for 2 hours. so hope when he gets the anti bs tomorrow they will kick in quickly.

Yes GD says she will give the school a chance to sort it out if they don't she will take it higher hopefully head teacher will sort it out cos she can do without all this.

Hate to think what the other child will grow up like if she is like this now as you say probably like the mother. certainly not a normal happy child that's for sure.

    take care
    Stay positive always👍xx
