Oh yes Aidan I think we do indeed need some meerkats!!! the more the merrier!! But for definite Miss Slimkins will not be allowed to visit!!
I watched some of Eurovision (since when were Australia in Europe ????? :? ) I love Graham Norton
I read the same that a chap halted the spread, but unintentionally!! Who cares he did good :0
I am going to invest in that click free external storage - does it do photos?
I hope you told Pepe hide and seek is just NOT that funny  I am so glad he likes the helmet. Diddicat has seen a cape on catazon she wants to get for his birthday if you can let us know when that is??
Diluted sheep-dip for the sloths won't sting their eyes No visitors then
I have planted lots and lots of bamboo
Christine those houses ARE affordable sort of ATM, but they won't be when the interest rates go back to more normal levels. The repayments could very easily double.
You would think backing up should happen as a matter of course daily for a big organisation like the NHS wouldn't you?
I know you'll all be here for my ENT appointment you might have to pop out and hold my hand though
I was also the same as Barbara with sunbathing and I think Aidan went on sunbeds too as did I
You'd better not be pregnant all that cleaning at home so early!!! hehehe!
We have industrial hedge trimmers which Paul uses we are all hedges here. I hope it helps you a lot
Hi Kath I am so pleased the thieves got away with an empty till!! HAH! karma
I bet Emily will be glad of the phone and the earrings, but mostly post from her Mum.
We ADORE the baby sloths and Cilla and Lily are perfect names for them
OK Barbara if you win the lottery and build the amazing park home we can have one or two for us to visit would that help?
Extra careful in sun now I see so are we. Factor 50 it is  If only we'd known! We'd have had no wrinkles or age spots!!
Skin as smooth as a babies
Yes there is an old stone barn at Cris's place we could do it up and visit any time
The dizziness has subsided now thank goodness thank you.
Joan I am sad to say the dog still hasn't turned up so Cris is still looking :? I am so glad you aren't in pain and that the plaster will be off on Tuesday.
Love to everyone

Hello Barbara Kathleen Christine Aidan. and anyone else I missed.
Barbara before I have the plaster I have to go to the blood clinic to see about the calcium and protein results. I hope you find the place you are looking for.
Kathleen that was good the till being empty. I hope you have a good day.
Aidan the boiler man fitted a new expansion vessel and new hose he could not get any air to come through the old one.
I hope you all have a good day.
Christine yes it will be nice to have the plaster off my leg will feel lighter. I hope your boiler passes it's test.
Hello Toni I just saw you don't worry you will come out will a smile and be glad it's all over.
take care all

Afternoon to all, sunny, with a pleasant breeze. Although with the tumble dryer going, I am warming up, even with the windows open. Trying to avoid a melting "moment".
Meerkats on the way to the zoo, as we speak. They have a huge pen, with tunnels and look out posts and lots of grubs and bugs to find. They are wonderful animals. The like Scorpions too  bags not me who gives them out at feed time.
Oh no Toni, Miss Slimcea cannot attend the zoo, we will have to put security camera's up, to make sure there is no sneaking, from her or Pepe for that matter. Not that he would do much, if he saw a scorpion he would faint.
Australia were in last years Eurovision, cannot remember why, but no, they are not in Europe. There was some reason. Graham Norton is so funny.
I am sure the young techie man will be a worldwide hero, for halting the spread of the dreadful ransomware. There is an article in the Daily Mail about him (online).
Yes, the click free keeps all your photo's, files, documents, emails, etc, they are very good and well worth having.
Sheep dip will be fine, we don't want Cilla and Lilly having lodgers, we love clean I don't mind dipping them (they are amazing swimmers apparently and can slow their metabolism right down and hold their breath under water for up to 40 minutes !! What amazing animals they are.
We had best get them a pool if they like a swim.
All the computer system was just being introduced when I retired from nursing, most things were still hand written. I thought everything would back up every day, but apparently not. I know they use an older version of windows, but there was and is a security patch for a windows vulnerability issue for XP onwards up to windows 10.
Don't worry, we will do lots of as required hand holding at your ENT appointment, there will be scones, boxed and ready buttered, so we don't make a big mess. There is always a bit of a fuss under the cape, especially if Pepe and Miss Sleek are accompanying us  :?
Chrstine is having a baby, nesting instincts  well, in that case so am I, which is even more amazing. I have all the cats bedding, blankets, fleeces...........all in or about to go in for washing and drying. The amount of fur that the dryer collects, you could knit another cat.
I am wrinkle phobic, so I avoid the sun at all costs - wrinkles appear as if from nowhere. Lots of hyloronic acid, plumps the skin nicely. Not sure of the spelling there.
Not wrinkles, they are expression lines
Glad to hear that the dizziness has gone away, good news.
So Cris' doggie never turned up, how terrible, it seems a long time ago now. Bless.
Pepe said he will give flying a miss today, as it is a day of rest  :animal_busy: he is well away at the moment, in fact all three of them have been asleep most of the day. Oh Pepe was born in July 2002, will have to find the date, I think it was around the 5th. He would love a cape I am sure
Hi Joan, let's hope your bloods are ok and they can remove the cast, your leg will feel light as a feather for a while.
The gas man pumped up the expansion tank on ours, they do it every time they come out, they use a foot pump :? I did ask about it, but wish I hadn't, as I am none the wiser now :?
Enjoy the rest of the week end, hi to Sue and the doggies.
Had my hair cut this morning, nice and short again, number 2 on the clippers. OH didn't need his doing, he is not as fanatical as I am. Feels 100% Better anyway.
Mum n Dad popped in as she could not get the hang of her new blood sugar monitor. Soon sorted, the same principle as all the others. I checked her BM and is was 7 which is very good, so the insulin is doing its job. Dad did ask if it was important - well, yes, just a bit. Bless im
Right, I had better move. Love to all, hope everyone is having a not too bad week end. I will pop in later, better go feed the ever increasing number of animals.
Must be time for a little something to nibble XX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
A scone and glass of fizz!! Fabulous thanks Aidan
Mistress Sleek is staying local today - reckons there are too many voles out so Pepe can sleep. She is exited that Pepe's birthday is soon and has been choosing capes on catazon for him
Just been to choose the tiles for the shower-room in the basement. It's going to look fabulous!! Lucky Lucy. She deserves some luck. There's a chap after her too so watch this space.
I have put CCTV up to protect our babiess from any pusskins visiting
I adore the Meerkat manor you ordered it's fabulous.
Ok apparently the company who owns Eurovison is based in Australia. If that's true of course.
The cats will definitely be under the cape for my ENT appointment like it or not. Diddicat said any trouble she will spike the Dr :? The don't like vets or Drs much do they?
So you are up the duff too? Gosh nesting nesting. I think it's such good drying weather even if you tumble dry
Your hair looks much better and cooler now. I am v glad Mum's reading was 7. All is well and bless Dad asking if it was important!!!!
I hope all the test are ok for our Joan and the plaster can come off. Thank you as well I am sure I will have a smile on my face once it's over
Love
Toni xxx0 -
Yes, it appears as if I am "nesting" like Christine. It must be the weather, or the season. I think I know what Christine's answer will be, lol.
Last load of cats bedding in the dryer, washer having a deep clean now, to rid of any hairs, apparently its filter is self cleaning, good job too. Bless the washer does a sterling job, with me at the helm.
CCTV is important, with so many cuties in the cafe zoological gardens. Mistress Sleekness will be preoccupied with all the voles. I have told Pepe and he said "what's a vole" so I showed him a picture   he doesn't want one apparently
Meerkat Mannor will be wonderful, when there are babies, they are just oozing in cuteness and take cuddles to a whole new level.
Lucy's bathroom will be wonderful (pics) please. You are right Toni, she deserves it and then some. Oh, so there is a suitor on the scene, ohhhhh, we will have to see if he is suitable and passes all our rigorous tests Mum's intuition will soon be on high alert I am sure
Maybe we should leave Pepe out, from cloak visits, if he mistakes the Dr for a Vet, there will be blood and thunder.
Enjoy the champers darlinks xxxx A tout al'heure AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
evening all sorry I'm late but got waylaid this morning, a lady called that thought we were working with cats protection and had 2 cats that wanted re homing, we had a long chat and I gave her the num for the right person..2 gorgeous black and white kittens.. so lovely they were..

Evening to one and all. Cooler now, all the drying done, enough "nesting" for one day :?
Hi Barbara, I wondered where you had gone to, you normally post at the same time as I do.
Oh Bless, two little kittens, I bet they were adorable. Good that you have pointed the lady in the right direction and let's hope they find a loving home.
Yes, I am very pleased with my blood results, compared to two years ago when my HbA1C (looks back at the sugar levels in your red blood cells for the past three months) test came back at 114. Now it is 38. The best they have ever seen at the practice, go me
Metformin is the tablet I take, to encourage insulin production.
I think we all went on the sun beds, they were all the rage. I used to like the ones you could stand up in, it was a bit like being in vertical rotisserie
Oh we can definitely have our own park, with the biggest and best park homes money can buy Ours is lovely though and the new owners are spending a lot of money to bring some areas up to date. We have a nice indoor pool, cafe, shop, club, entertainment rooms, even our own post box
Death Valley was an experience I would not have missed for the world, what an amazing place. It was well into the high 40's in the shade and you can cook on the rocks at the roadside, they are so hot.
We stopped at one of the old Borax mines and got out for a walk, the soles of my canvas shoes melted and I was told off for not wearing a shirt. "are you English" errrr yes Sir. "well, you can burn to a crisp in minutes, so cover up". We hurried back to the car, oh the shame. :?
I was reading about the same thing, that a lot of people will log into their work computers and it could start the whole virus going again. Let's hope they have managed to patch it now. What a thing to do, just dreadful, so many business' all over the world.
I agree with you Barbara, if Christine's Boss offers another cup of T, then say "yes, can I have a pay rise with that please, no sugar though"
We are expecting a very wet Monday, muggy as well I think, oh joy, humidity, my best friend, not.
Off to the GC this morning, it is nice and quiet on a Monday, so we can chill out a little over coffee's and scones.
Our Niece starts a full time post in her local University, in the IT dept this week, she has been waiting and waiting for a full time post, so well pleased for her.
I will check on the babies, and Lilly and Cilla (they were not happy with their sheep dip bath).
I think we have enough Meerkats for everyone to pet.
I had better move, I am setting. Hi to Kerrin, Carol, Elizabeth, Christine, Charrisse, Mig and all................Everyone take lots of care XXXX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
It was indeed a rainy night-night Aidan here  Still wet out there now, but the garden needs it.
I can imagine Pepe taking one look at the vole and thinking no thanks very much!!! Does he realise he'd have to eat some of it too??
You think the cats should stay outside the ENT clinic then? Probably wise.
My washer also worked hard here doing my gardening gloves....they weren't helping keep hands clean at all. Such a good invention washers
Today I shall go downstairs and take a 'before' photo of the bathroom as bets I can - it's tiny - so you can see what we are up against
Good news is Lily and Cilla are fine now after the sheep-dip all forgotten about. All babies had morning feed and bottles and cuddles. :animal_busy:
I very much hope your niece thoroughly enjoys her new job. Well-done to her!!
Enjoy the GC
Barbara Lucy hasn't decided yet whether to go out with him but she is prepared to go on dates with him so let us see. Apparently he wants my number incase she has a seizure so that's a good sign in my book.
So you are down as the local 'mad cat lady' are you  We could have had the kittens in with our babies though maybe not :?
I hope you found some left-overs there were scones still (amazingly) and some bubbly.
Joan good morning!! We will all be with you tomorrow when you have your cast off fingers crossed all tests come back ok
Love to everyone
Toni xxx0 -
Morning all very wet but humid...Aiden you have a pool..how lovely and a cafe and shop I would think I was on holiday full time.. glad the meds are working for you..and the scones must we doing there job on the insulin..a little of what you like..a lot in my case.. I would have been scared of breaking down in Death valley.. I remember being in Florida..and the lifeguard saying you are English..hoe do you know ..well you are sunbathing at midday..mind you we did have sunblock on...blimey your shoes melting...  so we have 2 sheep..Cilla and Lilly..I thought they glared at me has I cam in this morning.. many congratulation to your niece she must have worked hard..
Toni yes mad but not the cat lady... the kittens belong to her and she was going on holiday..and had rehoused 3..someone nearby gave her my name... :? a pic would be lovely ..I bet Lucy is buying all sorts of things to go in her room...we are coming round tyo vet this young man only the best for Lucy..good he asked for your num...
Guess who is 67 tomorrow..  the shock is now setting in...I sometime forget and think I am in my 50s..were did they go.. don't think I will never grow up..
Will go and make the lambs bottles up and pet the lovely meerkats... awww
Love to everyone..xxxxxxxLove

I've just been for a stroll around the compound. I love it here, no walkers or walking sticks etc. I love the meercats, but I'm glad Cilla and Lily went in the sheep dip. Perhaps they are grumpy because of having lots of creepy crawlies biting them all day.
I had a telephone consultation with my rheumy nurse today, about my Osteoporosis. I don't need an infusion for 18 months. My calcium levels and Vitamin D levels are fine. I just need to keep taking the Adcal +D3."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon all - rainy and humid here too. Managing to keep below the melting moment stage.
Oh, I dare not mention to Pepe that he would have to eat part of the vole - he would be
It might be a good idea to leave the puskins at home Toni, when you go to ENT. Barbara and I will be fidgeting anyway and holding your hands and trying to serve scones. It could get very messy. :?
I could not cope without the washing machine, it works like a trojan, especially with three puskins. I used to like Mum's old machine when I was young, it had a mangle attached to it, I had a great time with it. You had to watch your fingers, they were easily grabbed
Looking forward to the before and after pictures of Lucy's bathroom. I am sure it will look lovely. Tiny is ok, often the best things come in small packages.
I see the babies are all still resting, apart from the Tapir's who are messing about in their pool, bless. All the meerkats are asleep, bar one, who is on look out duties.
Lilly and Cilla do seem happier today
I am sure our Niece will enjoy her new job I will message her later to find out how things went.
The GC was fairly quiet, the scones where fresh as could be, the coffee was strong and just to ones liking
Lucy's new suitor sounds like a sensible man, asking for your number. Dates will be fine, Barbara and I will be keeping an eye and giving marks out of 10 for his chivalry and behaviour.
I think Miss Sleek has been over, there was a lot of clattering on the roof, while I was getting changed after our trip out. No way it was a bird. Pepe was keeping tight lipped and said no one had been while we were out. Somehow I don't quite believe him. Evidence of carpet gliding and litter throwing competitions.
Hi Barbara, yes, very humid, plenty of rain, which is much needed.
Yes, the scones seem to help, I had cream and butter on mine today. I know, but, they were so fresh and yummy.
If you break down in Death Valley you have to lift the bonnet and stay inside your car, the rangers patrol all the time and they would soon find you.
So you were sunbathing at midday, lol. Mad dogs and Englishmen, lol. I remember walking from our hotel to a restaurant when in Phoenix. We thought this is funny, not a soul about. Well, with good reason it was 115 degrees F and the restaurant was a mile away. I was hotter than the sun when we arrived  :sun:
The Sloths are Cilla and Lilly, but the lambs won't mind what you call them as long as they are fed and petted.
So, a Birthday is upon us I see, age is just a number made up by mankind. You stay as young as you want to I am 90 today, well at least I feel like it, lol.
Hi Joan, we are all ready to gather under the cloak for tomorrow. I am sure there will be some Birthday cake too, seeing as Barbara is 50 Hopefully the bloods will be ok and the cast can come off.
Mum is doing ok, steady away, but out and about every day, which is good.
Hi Kath, glad you enjoyed your stroll around the zoo, no walkers, crutches or the like. I am sure Lilly and Cilla are much happier without all the livestock in their fur. The meerkats are starting to wake up, they will be hunting grubs and other creepy crawlies.
That's good to hear that you don't need an infusion for well over a year. Also that your calcium and vit D are within normal levels. My Cardiologist said on my last visit, that most people are deficient in Vitamin D and don't know it. Must get some more supplements this week.
Hi to everyone else, Christine, Mig, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Carol Charrisse and all.
I had better get on with the cake. Take lots of care XXXX Aidan
I think it needs a bit more chocolate.XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Evening all...
Kath so happy to hear your bloods are ok especially not having to have the infusion for a year..it is lovely here ..so peaceful and calming stroking the animals..
Aiden..whatever can live in Deaths Valley... that is hot...glad you enjoyed your scone at the GC we deserve something to look forward to.. cream and butter sounds good..yes age is just a num..but I'm still in shock funny how it has crept up...its never really bothered me biut suddenly.....so it the sloths that are Cilla and Lilly...and not the lambs.. :? my brain has had it..
I have just downloaded the new windows 10 update creator..its really good has 3D paint and you can change the light for nighttime..quite impressed but then I soon am these days..
Love to all.xxxxxxLove

Evening all
Laptop has behaved the last few days although I have not been on it much as other things have been going on. and so haven't had much time to be on it.
thank you for all your comments about Bil the visit went ok ,we surprised him when we visited because he was not expecting us as nephew had not told him at Mr Ts request he was delighted to see us and loved the photos old and new that Mr T had put on his I pad to show him. we have not seen him for many years now and we were quite surprised how old and frail he looks now he is 89, he was quite bright in himself but obviously you could detect the classic symtoms of the Altzimers. Christine yes it is hard but at least we know he is safe there and not wandering the streets in the early hours of the morning with a wallet full of cash. which is what has happened in the past.
Aiden That's a good idea to put posts in drafts if you move away cos they do have the habit of disappearing. Loving the meerkats and Sloths love Kathleens names for the Sloths red panda loved the fruit. group bus trip sounds great to me where we going. our Knitting on a Friday can cause some people to stop and look I must admit, and some do comment and ask what we are making.
Barbara yes loosing a pet is hard it dose knock you sideways for a bit but we have our memories and our special photo frame with his collar and photo in it in the hallway which we see all the time when coming in or going out of the house. and by September feel we will be ready to have another pet.
Joan hope all goes well tomorrow when your plaster comes off .
Our surgery had problems today when I arrived for my blood test the nurse said a lot of the drs could not get into their computers this morning and the systems were very slow. now just got to wait until next week for the result and apt with the dr. I am sporting a black eye at the moment cos I bent down to pick something up of the bathroom floor on last Thursday and banged bone above the eye on the sink so now have a lovely bruised eyelid.
Last Night Mr T went to another church near our usual one to hear a group of welsh Singers. was quite nice but far too long.
well I think I am in need of a little potter around cos I have been sitting for too long now
so good night all take careStay positive always👍xx0 -
Folks I got a call to say they will be starting Lucy's shower room TOMORROW morning so if you don't see me I'll be on later I promise and will be at Joan's appointment under the cloak.
I don't have a black eye like Carol, but bruised mu bonce too this morning nutting the doorframe...long and silly story  You are so accident prone lately be careful!
Kath such good news about your vit D levels and calcium levels are good. Probably all the walking outside
Aidan Miss Slimkins has definitely been over she is covered in Pepe fluff. They have had a great time litter in her tail allsorts!
My Mum had a mangle and a scrubby thingy too.
Now lastly for tomorrow Barbara -
VERY MANY HAPPY RETURNS to you.
Love
Toni xxx0 -
Well, it is just morning, it is officially Barbara's Birthday, so
I hope you have a lovely day, sending many hugs your way :cake:
All the babies in the zoo send their Birthday wishes. They are all groomed, petted, fed, watered, pampered and ready for the mornings fusses.
What lives in Death Valley, quite a lot really, which was surprising, given the extremes of temperature. Rattle snakes, scorpions, funnel web spiders, lizards, little mousy animals. It snows there too and can get very cold at night, which makes the rocks split. A unique place for sure. Then, as you drive out of the valley and on, you come to Las Vegas, which is just totally whacky, but I loved it.
Don't worry about names, wait until the Panda has a name, Blush is nice and suits him well. Already we have Cuddles, Yack, Marigold, Cilla, Lilly, Blush maybe for our red Panda........
The new updates are cool for windows, the night time mode is better for your eyes, takes a lot of the blue out of the monitor, blue is the colour that keeps our brains active. The phones have night time mode on too.
Hi Carol - oh dear, you have a black eye, you will have to wear sunglasses and out with the arnica gel asap. Hope it doesn't hurt too much.
Glad to hear the laptop is behaving, always a big plus.
I am happy to hear that the visit to your BIl went well and he was very pleased to see you, looking at pictures. Mum always asked if there was anything on my phone, she loved to see pictures.
It is very hard indeed, but knowing that loved ones are cared for and safe from harm. Wandering at night is a very common problem. Four out of the six siblings on Mum's side, had Alzheimer's
Oh yes, I did mention a bus trip, we will have to organise with Toni, who is chief bus driver. We could go on a knitting picnic somewhere nice. I can knit one, drop one.
That's fine if people look when you are all knitting in the coffee shop, I think it's great.
hope the blood tests come back ok, I think a lot of GP surgeries have been affected by the dreadful ransomware virus. I know ours was or still is.
The Welsh do sing so well, really makes the hairs stand up on your arms, even if it did go on a bit too long. I know we would be up and down like Jack in the Box, pottering and getting restless.
Take care, we don't want any more accidents
So they are starting Lucy's bathroom today, gosh, that was quick Toni.
don't worry, we will save you some of Barbara's enormous chocolate cake. Now you have a bump, hitting the door frame, what on earth. Mind you, I walk into the kitchen door frame regularly   You take care too. We will need to open the ward up again at this rate.
More litter throwing tonight, oh what fun they must have had.
Well, I am chair shaped, once more. Time to move. I have the cloak ready and waiting for Joan's appointment. Scones all packed.
Everyone take care, hi to all those not in at the moment. Elizabeth, Mig, Charrisse and all.
N Night, God Bless XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBARA :cake:Stay positive always👍xx0

Good morning all
I hope you all have had a good nights sleep and at suitably refreshed this morning it is sunny here but of course its any ones guess as to how long it will last.
All the babies look very clean and contented this morning Aiden waiting for their mornings fussing to begin all were behaving when I popped in.
my black eye is not at all painful unless I touch the bone above the eye itself and luckily its only lack across the eyelid. must just remember not to bend down so close to the sink in future ha ha .
Laptop is behaving well at the moment well mine is at least, Mr T seems to be having troubles with his on and off. trouble is he gets so annoyed and impatient when it happens.
yes it was nice that he enjoyed the photos and because both of us went it was easier to handle the situation because if one of us couldn't think of anything to say the other one was there to carry on the conversation and Mr T did say after that he would have found it very hard to cope with if I had not also been there as well.
A Knitting picnic sounds like a great idea I don't mind people watching me knit at all.
keeping fingers crossed now for good blood test results got an appointment with Dr on the 25th a week on Thursday.
the singing of the welsh group was as you say very good but it was a long time for a church service nearly 3 hours in fact it was still going on when we left but it was gone 9pm by this point and we were both getting very hungry since we had had dinner at around 2pm. and nothing since that time.
Oh Toni hope your head is not too bad but well we will do these silly things just need to be careful hope your head is heals soon see you under the cloak for Joan's appointment .
Well need to go now as Mr T has just got up so it will soon be time for breakfast.

Afternoon - just - to one and all.
hope you are having a lovely Birthday Barbara, enjoy the cake, I will pop another in just in case stocks run low.
That should see us through, Joan and Sue will need some when we get back from the hospital appointment.
Hi Carol Glad that your eye is not painful, no touching, "ouch". No bending near sinks.
Good that your laptop is behaving at the moment, we won't mention Mr T's computer, just in case there is a gremlin around and we don't want him in a grumpy mood. :?
Photo's were always a good distraction, with your BIL bless him. Even if you have to go over the same ones, it doesn't matter. Mum just liked to sit holding hands, with me on one side and OH at the other. We always sat at one of the dining tables, then had a little walk, then back to have a cup of T.
We will have to plot a point for the knitting picnic - maybe somewhere in the Yorkshire Dales
Three hours, that is a long time to be sitting, listening to the choir, even though they were fabulous singers. I bet you were hungry too.
We will keep a note for the 25th, for cloak duties at your GP's
Oh no Joan, not the boiler again, can we not ask your MP to get involved, mind, all the MP's are not MP's at the moment, until the election night, Parliament has been dissolved
It's not fair that you have to keep putting up with inadequate heating and hot water. Big complaint to the Boss of the Association. As you say it is a bungalow for disabled person's, so they should be on with fixing any problems quick as a flash.
I hope all is well with your foot, we are all around under the cloak, it is a bit messy with crumbs and plates.
There you are Barbara, early, that's ok, it is your day, so you can be as early as you like. Happy Birthday once more. Every Blessing
Ah, you see, I thought I would pop another cake in, just in case one was not quite enough
The most fantastic thing we saw, was Bryce Canyon at sunrise, that was just amazing. Worth googling, it is a magical place. Jaw dropping.
I know our surgery was hit by the virus, not sure if they are back online yet, will ring and order a repeat prescription and see.
The weather is a bit up and down at the moment, very warm today, humid, just as we like it NOT
Will it be time spent at the GC, people watching? Wonderful, I could spend all day doing that.
Toni will be covered in tiles and grout. I am sure it will be lovely once it is done.
We are having an at home day, needless to say the washer is going at a pace. You would think we have a family of 10.
Out for lunch tomorrow, then out on Thursday to the GC with Mum n Dad.
Friday I am at the podiatrist, I forgot to make an appointment when I was due, so my feet are like pigs trotters.  I could hang from the branches with my nails, like Cilla and Lilly.
all the babies are fine, fed, watered, fruit, grubs, tender bamboo leaves, scorpions  I just threw the box in, they didn't mind, they were in there like a shot.
Till later, everyone take care, hi to all not in at the moment. XXXX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

Sorry to be so late on busy with the shower room then Charley and gf came for tea before going off to France for a few days tomorrow
Just wanted to collect the cloak for cleaning after today's escapade with Joan....
(I think we'll have to leave the cats behind in future after their behaviour today - scootering on drip stands, bandaging each other up not to mention what they did in the kidney bowls   )
and to make sure that Barbara has had a lovely day - it sounded just about perfect
I promise to catch up properly tomorrow, but love to everyone

Aiden, my first house in 1975 was £7500 and we sold it 5 years later for £15k. Bought one for £15k and sold 5 years after that for £30k. Oh yes, I’d forgotten about the sloths’ lodgers. We’ve got more pets in here than we thought. So you are expecting a baby too. I’m still in shock. Are you? Congratulations to your niece. Hope she enjoys her new job.
Toni, we will hold your hand at your appointment. We’ll take it in turns. Me pregnant? Eeek, now how did that happen? I’ve been single for 6 years. Glad to hear the dizziness has cleared up now. New tiles for the bathroom. What colour have you chosen? And someone is interested in Lucy. Good idea to just go on dates for a while. He sounds caring if he has asked for your number. Fingers crossed. Hope your head is ok
Joan, I hope it all went well getting your plaster off your foot. It'll feel so much better. Another new part for your boiler and once more it's not working. Wish we were able to help.
Barbara, happy birthday. :cake: Hope you have had a really lovely day. Aiden has supplied lots of cake. No need for diets today. I see you almost had 2 kittens. I hope they find their forever homes. Had they been abandoned? Just read they belonged to the lady and she was going on holiday.
Kath, it is lovely here, isn’t it? All these beautiful animals. It sounds as if things are more in control for you. Hope it continues.
Carol, what a lovely surprise for your BIL. It’s good to know he is safe. My dad used to go in to town on his own and a couple of times didn’t know where he was or how to get home. Now he complains he’s not allowed out on his own and doesn’t understand why. I visit on my own and it is difficult thinking of what to say. Some things I avoid because he gets agitated and others because it’s too complicated for him to understand. Oh your poor eye. Hope the bruise clears up quickly. Glad it’s not painful.
Unfortunately, we have had more fires – one of the winter grit bins has been set on fire 3 times in a fortnight and someone’s bike was burned. On the other side of town, the covers for the cricket pitch have been badly damaged (thousands of pounds worth) and there was mention of small fires being lit over there too.
I’ve been sleeping very late the last couple of mornings having about 10 hours sleep. It’s meant I’ve been late to work and late finishing. Not to worry. I’m off tomorrow so I can sleep all day.Christine0 -
Evening to everyone, catching up with the tennis from Rome, masters 1000 There is about 12 hours a day to catch up with, plus our coast versus country programme that we love. Sara Damergee is really lovely and she teams up well with Kerr Drummond.
Joan, I hope the cast is now off and you have more freedom of movement, with no pain. Just take things steady.
Sorry, I digress. Hope you have had a wonderful day Barbara, glad to oblige with the extra cake, you know how I used to LOVE my maltesers to the point of obsession. Diet, on a Birthday, no, never heard the like
I had a guess the GC might be a stopping point, Sandwiches cake and plants, which OH ran off with, did you find him
That was very kind of your neighbour to bring a bouquet of flowers, how lovely. Sons will have been and you are seeing your Niece today, so the world will be put to rights
Hi Toni, not to worry about being late, we know where you have been and then tending to family requirement, these things must be done. I hope the bathroom is looking good, sometimes things can look like a big mess, before they get better. Take care, no more banging into things.
No, I thought we had banned the puskins from the appointment with Joan, so, they both sneaked under the cloak, little terrors, Pepe has made no mention of it and is draped across my gel cushion, watching me type, while sitting on the hard chair. I will have words.
Scootering on drip stands, oh my days and leaving "samples" in the kidney dishes. Right, bed with no supper. (as if that would happen)
No wonder he said there was no broomstick practice today.
Hi Christine - how house prices have changed, it is unbelievable when you think back. Mind you, it was relative to wages. How people can get their foot onto the property ladder these days is beyond me, with the need for such a huge deposit. Renting always seems such a waste really, you never own anything, yet pay the same as a mortgage.
Yes, I am in shock, if we are both expecting. :? I haven't mentioned this to OH, he would think I had completely lost the plot, lol.
The only thing I am likely to have is kittens if I meet a spider.
I will get in touch with our Niece, give her a day or two to settle in and then I will be nosey and ask lots of questions
Yes, I think we can officially say we have a cafe Zoo. I did see some bot bellied piggies, they are just wonderful. The little ones, not the ones that grow to about half a ton
Oh Bless, we will have to take them. I had better warn Barbara to put some extra bottles out.
It is very difficult dealing with Alzheimer's, I know when Mum was in the care home, some of the other clients were always on the go, always looking for a way out, but not knowing where they would go to. Very sad, loosing the person you knew so well.
Sometimes you don't have to say anything, just being there is comforting.
More fires, how terrible, these idiots have nothing better to do with their time. I wish they could be caught. It must be very worrying for residents.
Sleeping is good, (says me, the incurable insomniac). Any more cups of T from the Boss?? I still think he has a pang of guilt, we will see
And today, you can sleep as long as you want to.
I do sleep at night, with the help of my night pills. I have been on them for many years now, but they seem to work as well now, as they did at the start, so my GP and Consultant are quite happy to keep me quiet and get some rest.
Well, I had better potter for a while, I am chair shaped.
Hi to everyone, Kath, Carol, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Mig, Charrisse and all.
Take lots of care XXX Aidan
