evening to all, a warm day, with several melting moments ( I am sure I used to make those, they were in the Bero cook book).

Good that the eggs were ready for you Toni, a long time since I had scrambled, in fact, any eggs for that matter. I hope Kerrin managed to grab some for snacking on the train.

Cannot say I have ever had a white egg omelette. Something to try at some point. I bet the creme brulee' was lovely too.

Oh Mum would have loved the zoo, not sure about the warthogs, they can be a bit grumpy, lol.

You did start a trend with marriages and ceremonies. Yes, it is 10 years this year. Apparently we get tin or diamond, wonder which one I will go for :) It won't be a baked bean tin that's for sure :lol:

I think Pepe got a little hot while on broomstick practice, he was puffed out when we got back, (having baked himself in the window) There's no telling them.
There had been a fair bit of gliding too and a major litter throwing event !! Bless em.
Miss Sleek is quite familiar with the area now and wants to take Pepe a bit further afield, into the Trough of Bowland, (gorgeous villages, just a stunning area). He is giving it some thought.

I am sure you neighbour is very worried indeed. Keep us posted, thoughts and prayers are winging their way ((()))

It will be a long process to get back to experienced junior stylist, I guess next time I will be a nervous wreck  :? :? Next door thought it was hilarious - huh. So did Mum n Dad.

Oh only the best feed for Mum and her calf, Barbara would only want the best milk for baby.

The bore hole is good, not that we ever drink the tap water. It is fine, but after living in France for 5 years, it was the thing, to drink bottled water and we have stuck to it ever since.
I am sure you watering system is really good. Mum n Dad had one rigged up to a hosepipe and that watered everything through a maze of pipes.

Oh is really enjoying making the jewellery, he is busy chain mailing at the moment, wire wrapping, all sorts. Totally engrossed with it. I am just happy with a cloth and pottering :)

oh oh, we have another wisteria, OH found one at the GC today, about three foot tall and in FLOWER, so we had to have it. I will post a pic. It has been potted on and tended and watered etc. It is quite a compact one, doesn't grow the size of a house, so that's fine. Happy days :)

    20170522_150440_zpsbksumdpw.jpg

I had a perm, yes, honest, must have been in about 1990, I looked a numpty to be honest, but I thought it was wonderful, just the top :lol::lol::lol: :?

Hi Joan, so you are managing to walk a little with your frame, taking a bit more weight on your improving foot. That is very good and it will get stronger. Once the boot is off you will feel so much better.
Mum n Dad are ok thank you, keep going and keep busy every day, which is all that we can ask for. Determination is a wonderful thing.
Hope you enjoy this fine weather, I know you like it to be warm. Glad that the boiler is doing what it should.

Hi Barbara Yes, we enjoyed the GC, I must admit I was leaking after the second coffee and it took me ages to cool down. As you will see we have a second wisteria, this time with flowers on. Wonderful.
I think it is going to get very hot this week - today has been just about ok, with a nice breeze. I think by Friday, the AC unit will be coming out of the wardrobe.
So you enjoyed making jewellery too, I bet you have a "stash" as they call it. OH has quite a stash already, of the essentials like jump rings for chain mail, all sorts of wires, spacer beads, charms, stones, gems, there are just millions of things you can get.

Oh OH used the small clippers on his eyebrows, as we both do, cannot abide bushy eyebrows, he read the number wrong and did his on number 2 instead of 3................. ooops. Glad I am not alone in the error of my ways, lol.

Yes, giraffes, don't worry about milking her, the baby will take care of that for you. She is very tall. The warthogs seem happy enough to have them in with them.

Have just heard the breaking news about the blast at Manchester Arena, at the end of a concert, several killed, oh my, thoughts and prayers to all.

That's kind of put a could over my post. What terrible times we are living in.

Kath, nice to see you, glad you enjoyed your time in the garden and I hope that any payback is minimal and short lived.
Oh and Toni has been busy in the garden as well, better ask Marigold for some lavender pats.

Me, sensible, well, I guess I am, as much as possible. I do things I shouldn't do, with regards housework etc. but if there is anything I am not sure about medical wise, I am off to the Drs asap. I have had enough emergencies already.........

Lucy's bathroom is coming on nicely, with (I assume a saniflow system) installed and venting etc. Will be done soon. :)

Well, I will post. I have pottered a few times already, shouting back and all that.
Love to all, hi to Carol, Elizabeth, Kerrin, Mig, Christine, Charrisse and all.

morning to one and all - a dark day, despite the sunshine.:cry:
Hi Barbara, I don't know what the answer is either. It is a very popular venue and one of the best in Europe for concerts etc.

I was looking at various concerts a while back and thinking, that would be nice to go see one.

I think we are all just a bit shocked at the moment. I join you in sending my thoughts and prayers to those who where killed, those who have lost and those who are injured.

Will pop back later on. Enjoy the weather, there is a nice breeze today, not quite as hot.

Everyone take lots of care XXX Aidan

Morning all. The chickens are doing well, 8 this morning and buckets of milk. We have a fridge full of butter too. Scrumptious scrambled eggs on toast for tea later. :D

We did the Sawley trail this morning. Very achy after yesterday's gardening. So I've had plenty of fresh air and sunshine.

Barbara, you must be so relieved that your GD and pals are safe. xx

    Evening all
didn't get in yesterday don't know where the day went really it just seemed to disappear into the big black void  3 days to the weekend away for the christening and 5 days to the christening itself I am so looking forward to it.

weather here today has been a bit cloudy but still a nice warm day we have a forecast of it being around 26/27 centigrade tomorrow so we may be melting by the evening.
just checked on the babies in the zoo all seem very happy and contented Blush was chomping away merrily on her fruit as usual.

Had a 1lb gain at slimming world today oops  but still in target and of course the weekend is looming so maybe more on next week but well we shall see. As long as I still stay in target the is ok by me.

Toni Yes re the baptism of older children and adults it is a good idea as far as marriage is concerned I think peoples thinking has changed a lot but I then again I think a lot of people just seemed too busy for anything to do with church ect these days so think it hypocritical to go to church for these sort of things so just don't bother. to be honest our eldest daughter and other half have never married but I as proud to say that they have stayed together now for 26 coming up 27 years now and all our grandchildren have the same dad. our eldest Gd is also not married but her partner has been with her since Lillie was 6 months old after her leaving her ex partner and Lillies dad before Lillie was born everyone was glad she did as he was no good for her or Lillie but her current partner is really good with Lillie and the love he and Lillie have for one another is fantastic to see. she has only ever known him as her daddy. Mr T and myself however have been happily married for 47 years in July.
No I havn't received a friend request from you and I don't know what name you are listed as on facebook so cannot send a request to you if you let me know by what name you are listed as i'll send you a friend request.
hope the floor has been done now.

Aidan Yes a zoo register is need I think after all we don't want to loose any of our animals do we :o
yes 3 days before we go and 5 days to the christening itself so not too long at all now. I drink a lot of coffee too mine is mainly black coffee, i agree anywhere that sells good coffee is all good by me and i usually go for a medium in costa as large is enormous. I think when your balance is not good you can trip over nothing quite easily   and cobblestones with a walker is a nightmare. you have to be very careful. think the council are aware but don't like to admit it . hope pepe is being careful on that broomstick.

Barbara our pavements are really bad but council very rarely do anything until someone hurts themselves or complains. haven't done anything about the insurance yet but will look into it when I get back from the christening.

Oh my Manchester with terror attacks now what is happening to the world I do not know my thoughts are with all those families of those killed and the nightmare the survivors must have witnessed. but what is the answer I really don't know.

well Ineed to move now our else the joints will set and I will be sleeping in the armchair tonight unable to move.
    Stay positive always👍xx

Kerrin, hope you have recovered from your tumble down the stairs.

Toni, the police have been told about the fires but say they can’t do anything unless they can catch them at it. As for our MP, we think he has vanished in to thin air. He was always good at answering emails and helping out with things while he was minister for the northern powerhouse but since someone else was given the job a few months back, no-one has heard from him.

Joan, I see you have a black boot now. Can you put weight on your foot now? Hope it turns out that your thyroid is ok. It sounds as if everyone thinks you should have a new boiler expect whoever is making the decision to keep repairing it every week. It is shocking to think that someone has to be killed before they will consider putting in a crossing.

Toni, lovely photos of you, Lucy and Paul. I love a sea view from an apartment. I hope your neighbour is going to be ok after being rushed to hospital. Lucy’s new bathroom is coming along nicely. A recess is a good idea to keep toiletries on. Yes, I am fine being put on midwifery duties for the giraffes. I know what to do now but might need some help in catching the babies though.

Kath, I think your idea to have chickens is good. We need their eggs for breakfast. Like your egg basket. Hope ypu were ok after the gardening and not in too much pain.

Aiden, you mentioned we need a windmill to grind flour. There is one for sale just about 2 miles from where I live. Only £1 million. Built in 1750. I eat a lot of ch*ck*n but, as you say, best not mention it now we have chickens here. That chocolate cake looks yummy. Think I’ll have a slice with my cuppa. I used to have bats flying past my house. Haven’t seen them for a few years. Thank you for thinking about me wanting giraffes. That would be lovely. If getting my feet done will make me jump around like that, think I’ll book an appointment.

Barbara, how lovely to get a heart and candles from your niece. I do like candles. Oh you are off to Llandudno. Hope you have a lovely time and the weather is good for you. My blackbird used to sit and sing right outside my bedroom as the sun came up in the summer. He now sits at the front of the house so I don’t hear him. When I heard the news this morning, I thought of you and hoped no-one you knew was there. Glad your GD didn’t go and that her friends are ok. Must still be a huge shock for them though.

Carol, not long now till Graycie’s christening. You must be excited. Don't be worrying about a 1 lb gain. You have done so well, I know you will lose it again.

I haven't been in because I have been watching a mindfulness summit. There were 20 hours of viewing so I spread it out over a few evenings. Didn't get to see it all though. I've done a bit of gardening while the weather was nice. Hoping to do some more tomorrow but am worrying that it's going to be too warm now. I was shocked, as everyone was, to hear the news this morning. My GD was there just a couple of weeks ago with her mum and my niece has been there now too long ago. I've been thinking about it all day. Just don't understand why they do it.

    Evening to one and all.

Sorry I am late, to be honest I have felt completely numb, for the past 24 hours, given the terrible events in Manchester. How the survivors and those who have lost loved ones must feel, is just unbearable.

Barbara, I am so glad that your GD friends, who were at the concert, are ok. There but for the Grace of god, as you say. Manchester folks are lovely people and will rally round and help. They have done a sterling job, looking after large groups of children, until they can be reunited with their loved ones.

I hope you have a wonderful time in Llandudno, I know you will pop in and say hi. don't forget to send some see breezes inland, I think we will all need them. Take lots of care.

Hi Kath, I am glad there is plenty of butter, we need it for the scones, the extra milk could go to make some lovely cheeses. Toni will be along to sample the scrambled eggs later, I am sure.

Good that you enjoyed your fresh air along the Sawley Trail. Sometimes it is better to keep going, even when the bones are shouting loudly. Maybe a bit too much gardening eh. :?

Hi Joan, I am happy to hear that the radiators are going to be fixed today. Mind you, it is getting warmer by the day, so you might not need them on for a while. I know you like the warmth, it is good for your pains. Funny how we are all different, mine gets worse in the heat, better in the cool

Love to Sue and the doggies too. Hope you can get out and about in the sunshine XX Take care.

Hi Toni, I feel just the same, have done all day. Searching for an answer that doesn't seem to be there.

Now we are at Critical levels and another attack is imminent. Troops on the streets. I hope the culprits and the terror ring can be stopped in their tracks.

I am sure we will be having a shower party, will we all fit   Bags I get the shower seat :) If it's hot, then feel free to turn the water on.

Hi Carol, you have disappearing days too, someone is stealing them from us :?
Your countdown is getting very close now. Exciting and then some. I bet you cannot wait.
Thank you for checking on the lovely animals in the zoo, I know the keepers are doing a wonderful job, when we are busy.
The warthogs will need lots of mud, with the coming hot weather.

A lb gain is not bad at all, well within target. Enjoy the week end and you have some treats along the way.

The Churches have dwindling numbers, I always remember them being packed, Dads was always so busy. I think there are some, that have retained their congregation, but a lot have seen a rapid decline in attendance.
It is good that your family have all worked well together and shared their love and support to each other and to the children. Congratulations on 47 years of marriage too :)

You will see Toni on my friends list, you can always message her from there, if that helps.

I am sure the councils are inundated with reports from people who have had accidents, given the state of the roads and pavements. Our roads are terrible in places, even in the car, they jar every bone and joint. I never stop writing to them. Cobbles I really don't like, there are a lot in Skipton, where I used to live.

We will continue to offer our prayers and thoughts to those who have suffered and lost, to the hands of terrorists.

Hi Christine, so your MP has vanished, well, I guess they are all no longer MP's as they are, or where, campaigning for their seats in Parliament again. Someone must know where he is :? :?

We will assist as needed with any future baby Giraffes. They fall a long way when you think about it.  I knew you would not mind and would love some Giraffes in the zoo, to fuss over :)

The windmill sounds lovely, only a million, well, let me check my lottery numbers...................nope, not a bean, nobody won, again, so the prize is now well over 100 million ££ :o

No, we cannot mention eating Ch----n, not around the zoo, we don't want any upset hens, they will stop laying.

You had a lot of viewing to catch up on, 20 hours is a lot, no wonder you had to pace yourself.
Glad you enjoyed some time in the garden, careful if it is too warm. I will be hiding from the sun at every opportunity.

The horrors of the last 24 hours have really hit, they have hit the world at large. I am sure we are not alone, with it being on our minds and being in such worrying times. I don't envy the PM at all.

Well, I must move, I am setting as fast as Carol did.

Everyone take lots of care, stay safe. Love to all and to those who are not in at present.

Morning Joan :) I think they say if the swelling goes down overnight that that's good :) Lucy is doing well thanks off out this afternoon with her Grandparents (father's side).

Aidan I was exactly the same!!!! Horrifyingly close to home for me. We have neurology at the QE in Brum on Friday nd the last thing I want to do is travel on a train in Brum :?

Scrambled eggs are ready for anyone who wants some?

    r040.gif

Hahha! I will set the shower temperature to cool for you! We can all fit under the cloak so no doubt at all we can all fit in the shower room :)

I have had the hose on this morning - and got soaked in the process - for the warthogs :)

I then watered the flowers in the Church wall here :)

Diddicat tried to follow me when she saw me, but did turn round when a car came past....hopefully she is sensible.

She will be over later on her broomstick...she washed it yesterday ready; too warm for loop the loops apparently. She had a lovely dirt bath too :? rolling this way and that showing off to myself and Tia in the dusty dirt :D

    Christine
what about the press?? Can you get the newspapers on to it. A fire now it's so dry could easily spread :? This is what happens when they reduce our police force isn't it?

I don't mind helping you catch baby giraffes, but it was the 'staying awake' for up to 2 months watching that worried me ;)

Thank you we loved the holiday, but it already feels months ago :( Paul will be planning the next knowing him

I have done a fair bit of gardening and slightly more organising Paul to do some heavier work - hehehe! How is the pond doing?

Carol you know you are fine with that 1lb gain you have been at target for so long its 2nd nature to you :)

Have you not found me on facebook I thought I sent you a friend request? I will take a look later, but yes I am on Aidan's friends list. Toni Castle.

You'll be off soon for a lovely and special weekend and christening. We will be thinking of you :)

Your family is definitely proof that people can stay together without marriage. I agree though people are hypocrites not to have anything to do with Church and then expect them to provide services like those. 47 years married you and MR T well DONE you!!!!

Kath - have you been out today? I agree sometimes it is good to push through pain, but not too much eh? How is Emily? haven't heard much about her lately.

Well better get something done I suppose. Got AO coming with new washer this morning and the shower-man too

    My poor kettle

Hope our Barbara is ok today driving off on her hols :)

Love to all our café friends

Just helping myself to some more scrambled eggs and toast with butter, and a glass of milk. While I'm eating, I don't know which animals to watch. They are all so cute and funny. Although perhaps cute might not be the right word for the warthogs!

Emily is really enjoying her work and getting on well with her studies. She had to arrange a maths class for the 7-year olds last week. Some of the children are Polish and have problems understanding the language.

Joan, apart from your leg swelling, I hope it doesn't cause too much pain.

Aidan, yes I think the events in Manchester shocked us all. Terrible. Then hearing os Sir Roger Moore's death - my favourite Bond.

I've put some more chard leaves out for the chickens. We'll only have chicks if we put a rooster in with them. :?

If we are having giraffes, could we have a couple of Okapi? Please?

Afternoon to everyone. Hazy, but warm and forecast to get warmer for Thur Fri Sat.

Hi Joan, good to hear that your foot is getting stronger, with you being able to put a bit more weight on it. Very encouraging.
You are right, there are a lot of very kind people about, far more than those who hate, hence good will prevail in the long run.

Enjoy the fine weather when you are out and about with Sue and the doggies.

Hi Toni, I didn't think I would be alone in feeling numb, from recent atrocities. It has shaken the country to its core.
I don't blame you for being concerned about going on the train to the QE on Friday. We will be with you, rest assured and we will surround you with as much protection as we can muster.

I think most large public areas are now being guarded by army personnel, certainly in London, it is virtually in lock down. I am sure there will be armed Police or Army.

The scrambled eggs are lovely, did you pop a little butter in :) I thought so, just a huge lump, sorry a smidgin. lol.

A cool shower will be fine, at the bathroom opening ceremony. Oh dear, you were wet through from the hosepipe but I am sure the warthogs are more than happy.

Kind of you to water the flowers over at the Church. :) Rev Delphine is doing ok I trust.

I am glad Miss Sleek didn't follow you and was sensible when she saw the car coming. It is always a worry :?

Pepe did mention that there would be "brooming" later on, while we are napping. He is snoozing at the moment, having had some chi---n, well, when you go to Booth's, they have it all freshly roasted (I am whispering so the chickens don't hear)

It is quite misty, but I am sure they will not fly too high, or venture up on to Pendle hill, it has been shrouded in haze all day.

Dirt bath, oh Miss Sleek, that will really make your coat all lovely, not.

Hope the new washer is wonderful and the AO men put it all in place for you. Then the plumber too, as you say, the kettle will be busy.

Have not heard of the choir practice recently, is there a summer recess?

Hi Kath It is difficult to keep up with all the animals, and yes, of course we can have Okapi's, they are lovely and very friendly. We will have another enclosure built, with trees and a big watering hole.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder when it comes to warthogs, I think they have a certain "charm" :?

Good to hear the Emily is enjoying her studies and arranged the math's class. Difficult when there is a language barrier, but youngsters soon pick up the language far easier than us adults do.

Yes, I didn't realise Roger Moor was nearly 90, I liked him in the Bond films too. Bless.

I guess we can have a rooster, as long as he is not shouting at 4 in the morning lol.

I have been round and fed the meerkats, I loose count of how many there are, they are so fast, then they all vanish into the burrows. They love their millipeeds, grubs and scorpions.

Blush is very happy, climbing in the bamboo and picking the choice tender leaves.

The lambs, calf and Mother are all fine and well fed, Cilla and Lilly are doing well too.

The giraffes are settling in to their enclosure, they are not phased by the warthogs.

Hope you have arrived safely Barbara and it is a comfortable temperature for you.

Carol is on final countdown to the Christening

Christine is keeping an eye out for any more stupid fire starters, so dangerous in this dry weather, as Toni said.

Well it is coming up to another round of pills. It must be time for a cup of T and a cake. 8f9bc83758737f2994e3b9c1c687f9fb.jpg

Ooh now what shall I have....??

Mmm...a scone I think ;) Thank you Aidan Those warthogs love the mud I made don't they!! Who are the newbies!??? they need water too? I'll do it tomorrow.

The cats have had a gentle fly about taking advantage of thermal air currents apparently..... :? Pepe is getting brave on the back of Sleek's broomstick. He sunbathed today!!! Bless him.

The mud-writhing must be comfy else why would she do it??? Lucy says she's 'contouring' she does look a bit odd afterwards

The Rev Delphine is fine I saw her to speak to yesterday. I am on the rota for watering the bedding plants but no-one did them yesterday and they were wilting.

I hope you will all put a protective shield around Lucy and I on Friday. At New St station there are no waste bins you know.

Of COURSE there was best butter in our scrambled eggs. YUM :)

The shower is finished; the sink and loo are in and grouting done so.....just the shower door to go on tomorrow :)

The washer is on it's 3rd load already and the clothes are sooo clean!!!!

Kath I hope you enjoyed the scrambled eggs and milk? they were rather good bets French butter in them.

The newbies are called Okapi? They are adorable :) a Mum and baby!! Will she let us stroke her and the baby?

What about a part-time rooster I could borrow one from one of the farmers??

I am so glad to hear Emily is doing well. She sounds to be being given responsibility already. Is she learning some Polish herself?

    Well better get on.

    Love

Hi toni, of course I will ask for your protection. I noticed in the press, that there were army personnel in Birmingham, at the main shopping center and I assume at the main stations too. XX

    Hi everyone.

Wrote a post yesterday which got lost so here goes again.

Hope everyone in Manchester is ok. Sick world that we live in.

Me I'm plodding along. Very busy at school, was out today with the kids despite very bad fatigue and tiredness. Tomorrow we have cricket at the oval followed by a reception with Prince Charles, so have to look awake!

Glad I have a Rheumy apt next week. Have so many questions. Felt quite icky again this morning after last nights methotrexate. Sigh.

Hope everyone is well and not melting.

    Evening all

Its been a lovely day here very warm so warm that My Hayfever is giving problems tonight. but as long as my nasal spray works its ok took it a little while ago and it seems a bit better now.

Christine I am not worried at all about the 1lb gain at all really because as you say i know how to deal with it will just enjoy my weekend and sort it out after. Christening is getting very close now.
I have also had the same thoughts about this dreadful news just cant understand why people do it.

Aiden yes I seem to be having lots of these missing days lately  some one is stealing them but no one knows who is doing it.
yes christening count down is going very fast now only one full day till we are off on Friday and just 3 full days to the christening on Sunday.
Have taken time out to give the Warthogs some water to make lovely lovely mud, given Blush some fruit and she was also at the bamboo too.
yes the gain was not a lot as I have said to Christine I will enjoy the weekend and sort it out after.
Our church congregation is very small too I think lots of churches suffer the same problem.
yep 47 years a long time. and thank you.
Have made contact with Toni now she just needs to answer my friend request.

Joan my day has been good today was in pain this morning when I got up but it improved very quickly after some medication. my joints always seem a bit better when the weather is warm.
Glad your foot is getting stronger.
It was lovely to hear about the Taxi drivers helping people to get home and in some cases free of charge at that also there was on lady who gave a couple of youngsters tickets she paid for them to get them home.

Toni you right the 1lb is nothing that cannot be sorted.
Yes our family is proof that people can stay together married or otherwise. and yes 47 years as they say you get less for murder.  ooops did I really say that  I have sent you a friend request on face book now all you need to do is accept it. you will then be able to the pictures of our little ones that I have on there.

Well folks I am off to bed now very busy day tomorrow, may not get on here tomorrow and will not be making any posts until we come back on Monday so i will catch up with you all and give you a report of the weekend then. Nighty Night all.
    Stay positive always👍xx

A very warm evening - slightly glowing, but carrying on.

The warthogs are more than happy, they are reclining in their mud baths this evening, chilling out, they look almost relaxed and friendly, but no, I am not popping in to give them a cuddle. I have made sure their food supply is plentiful, they are happy with all sorts of veggies and some extra nourishing warthog pellets. ( I didn't know you could get such a think :lol: )

Oh the Okapi, they love water too, they are settling in nicely, leaving them to find their feet so to speak. The night zoo keeper is very good and will keep an eye on all our lovelies.

Oh there were plenty of thermals over pendle and in the valley, in fact it is almost thermal in here as well.
Pepe said it was nice just to have a gentle glide about. He said it looked like Miss Sleek had make up on - I said she had been gliding in mud - bless, he doesn't understand what mud is, being a big nelly, he would run a mile.

I am very pleased to hear that the Rev Delphine is well and that you had a chat to her recently. I am sure there are many thoughts and concerns that are on her mind, just like the rest of us. It is difficult to think of what to say to a Congregation, about such horrors. I remember Dad saying that mans inhumanity to fellow man, knows no bounds. Offering prayers for those who mourn, those who have passed or are wounded and those who are trying to protect us.
There is always more good than evil and good will prevail. I don't want that to sound shallow, it is not meant that way at all, I am as horrified as the next person.
Sorry, I am going on, I will shut up a bit.

Good job your revived the plants, they wilt so fast in this heat. I know OH is always out watering, as everything is in pots now and they dry out so quickly.

I know that we will all send our love for your well being on Friday. A lot of places no longer have waste bins and for good reason. I would guess that there will be even fewer.

I knew there was plenty of best butter in the scrambled eggs, it is essential, for extra calcium :)

Oooh, the new washer sounds very good, what make is it? Sorry, I am being nosey. :?

Yes, we can have a part time Rooster, a very quiet one :lol:

Hi Barbara, glad to hear that you have arrived safely, if a little wilted. Normally the AC in cars is pretty good, ours is fab, just leave it on Auto and it chills you, according to the sunshine and temperatures outside. Maybe it needs a little re-charge, they do it at most Kwik Fit I think.

Delays on route would have made me wilt too. I know there was a horrible crash on the M6 at the Stoke Junction.

You enjoy and keep safe too. Big whiff of sea air :)

Hi Kerrin, lovely to see you. I feel the same, we have some very sick, brainwashed individuals among us.

A reception with Prince Charles, wow, that will be amazing, expect to see plenty of armed guards. I am sure it will be great. Piccies if you can :)
Pushing on when you are fatigued is horrid, sometimes it is better to do so, sometimes you just cannot. Sorry you are feeling sickly with the Mtx. Do you take anything for nausea, there is a lot that can be prescribed to help.
I hope the appointment with the Rheumy goes ok, better make a list.
I think I might melt over the next 48 hours, it is getting hotter..........

Oh Barbara, it is worrying, but I am sure your family will be ok. They will close the schools as a matter of course, just as a precaution. I did read about a couple being arrested by armed officers.
They will keep in touch and let you know how they are. Sending lots of hugs ((()))

Hi Joan, it is true, most homes have the ingredients to make a bomb. Very scary.
Enjoy the warm weather, I know you like it nice and warm.

Hi Carol I hope the nasal spray has worked and helped ease your hayfever, it seems that the pollen levels are very high at the moment, with breezes and warm weather, setting off all the pollen into the air.
We will have to try and find those missing days, they are around somewhere :? :?

Thank you for popping in and looking after the animals, Blush is a darling.
They are all asleep, apart from the meerkats, there are always a couple on watch duty, no matter what time of day. Bless em.

I think the next generation going into adulthood will almost forget that the Church exists. It is very sad. Having said that, the Churches around here seem to have very good congregations, the one in the next village, is just beautiful, I do like to have a wander around when we get the chance.
Google Hubberholme, Dad took a lot of services there after his retirement, it is in the middle of the Dales and just stunning. He would get a very good gathering of people, from far and wide.

Glad that you found Toni, I am sure she will be in touch asap.

Glad the medication helped ease the pains and you are better in the warmer weather. It floors me, with every joint shouting very loudly.

Don't worry, we will catch up with you on Monday, I know you have a busy and exciting time ahead for this week end. Take lots of care and love to all the family.

Well, I will have to potter, I am set into a lump. Despite several pottering, mid post.

Hi to Christine, Elizabeth, Mig, Charrisse, and all.

Everyone take lots and lots of care.

Now that is very pertinent and poignant Aidan :)

The accident killed several 5 I think one critical and was very close to here so all the traffic was driving nearby (not our lane thank goodness!).

Pepe hasn't seen Miss Slimkins in her make-up before then? hahaha! Wait until Lucy adds blusher to her cheeks then she calls herself angel-puss

They had a lovely fly according to her it was cooler up there. Only one problem Pepe is after "a broomstick sized gel-cushion" :?

I am off to turn the hose on for warthogs and Okapi it's going to be another scorcher. I have made up bottles in Barbara's absence and enjoyed morning feeds :) sigh :)

Ah yes I should have offered the Rev some words too. to comfort her (although she was driving the village nosey-parker at the time) I bet she struggles with such tragedies on a personal level.

I agree with you - there absolutely HAS to be more good than evil.

I will bring the rooster home later on - he's honestly only there for the day until we have chicks :)

Well that's Carol off for her wonderful weekend. It will be fabulous and she even found me on facebook too :) Good :)

I hope the hayfever stays under control for her and doesn't spoil anything.

Barbara ought to have spent her first night away too. Let's hope the sea air is cooler for her too and she has a great time :)

Well better get on hair to wash. Tomorrow Lucy can use her new shower if she so desires!!! WOW!!!

Hello Joan :) I know you'll be here soon. You remembered my Eric Catona and I remember you loosing one of your dachs too....and gaining Pepper!!

Hi to Kerrin if you get on in the train. Stay safe.

See you later Kath and Christine all being well;)

    Love to you all
