    Morning everyone.

Enjoy the tennis, no time to watch any at the moment. So much to do at school and 3 days of cricket comps this week. At least today's might be cancelled.

Still battling a bit with fatigue and low level irritating aches. Not helped by tumbling down the stairs on sSunday evening! Also had more issues getting meth approved at docs yesterday. Claimed they couldn't see my blood test done a week earlier. Sigh. Even though feel yucky today so should have just forgotten about the meth!

More fires, not nice. Some people!!!!!

Time for work, hold thumbs that the cricket is cancelled.

Poor you Kerrin trouble getting your MTX - I bet you'd have liked the week off ;) hehehe!

Falling down the stairs will definitely have made things worse I hope you recover soon. That's 3 of us now had bumps Myself. Carol and you!!

Aidan teacup piglets!!! Wayay!!!We love them I think even Lucy might sneak in for a cuddle ;) We are definitely officially a ZOO as well as café :D Barbara has 3 extra bottles to make up then?

You really ought to warn OH that you are pregnant else he's in for a shock  Seriously he would think you had definitely lost it this time!

Yes pusskins were at the hospital with Joan. Is Pepe good fibber? Take a look at the paw behind his back.......is it crossed over the other one?

Flying lesson later if it doesn't rain I also am planting bedding at the church at 10 if it stays dry :?

Yes please let us know that your niece is hopefully very happy.

That pusskin saying ni'night is definitely a Diddicat :D

Christine my head is ok thank you just a linear lump and bruise silly me

Yes a chap interested sounds ok, but Lucy thinks I will be put of by his tattoo - large and on his neck  I am a modern Mum and will try to see past that. Oh and he works too. Plenty in his favour.

These fires are just not good at all. It is time the police got involved...is it worth contacting your MP? Tell him the constituents are more likely to vote for him/her if he/she does something??

Rest up now you need it may be staving off a flare.

Barbara have you recovered from your lovely day yesterday? I had some of the 2nd cake Aidan brought - it was lovely - yum!

I bet the flowers look lovely :) What did your sons give you? I bet more flowers!!

    Sounded a perfect day.....

for a mad cat lady

I am taking bathroom photos as we go along so watch for them :)

Hi Joan I hope you are recovered from yesterday's hospital visit and had some of Barbara's birthday cake when you got home :)

Yes Carol no 'nutting' sinks not a good idea at all  Sounds to be healing ok.

My husband makes a very vocal fuss if his phone doesn't do what he wants too  I'm glad your lap top is ok anyway :)

We will have our fingers crossed on 25th for your blood results (())

3 hours for a service? Wow!! That is far too long. Doesn't happen here thank goodness it would put people off :?

Right I really better get on not long and the men will be here again doing the shower room for Lucy.

Off to fill kettles and the water filter to their brims!!

    Love

Aahhh Aidan, such cuties. I love pigs (probably because I am one  )

Oh went on the Sawley trail alone today because he thought it would rain worse than it did, so I stayed home and pottered. Good job really, my bak and shoulders were throbbing. Although I'd only had my patch on for 72 hours (I usually change after 48) so I changed them after dinner. Relief witin minutes. Phew.

Love to all xxx :sun: :sun: :sun:

Afternoon all - cloudy, with a spit or two of rain, nothing to speak of, so I won't  :lol:

Just a quick note, will write more later.
Hi toni, loving the pictures, the hotel looked wonderful, the pool delightful, the champagne very bubble, all gathered round the table, wonderful to see you all.
The bathroom is a work in progress, but coming on nicely. Small is beautiful.
Yes, Pepe has been fibbing, he seems to be doing that a lot now. Not that Miss Sleek would encourage it,:lol::lol:

Sorry you were soaked at the Church, Heavenly rain though. How is Rev Delphine? Well I hope.

Hi Kerrin, sorry you are still struggling with fatigue and many sympathies with the aches and pains, that is just what they are, annoying, always there, pains....Another bump and tumble, like Toni says, that makes three within three days, hope you are ok and take care xx ....Hope the cricket was cancelled and you get a bit of time to rest up.
The tennis is great, we follow every tournament throughout the year, total tennis addicts.

Hi Joan, good that the cast is off and you have a boot to wear. It will feel a lot lighter for you. Glad to be there with you and good news on the blood results so far.
Even more good news with the boiler working - hush, best not speak of it, it might give up...........

Hi Barbara, you enjoyed the rest of your Birthday, with more flowers from Son's, very nice too.
I think there is some chocolate cake left, but all the maltesers are gone ! Not guilty :? :? Yes, I to remember Tony hiding Matron's chocolates and handing them out willy nilly, lol.

If I am eating for two, then it will be two scones, with cream, please and thank you.

oh what did your Niece bring, nice presents? I hope you put the world to rights.

Kath, sorry your pains are annoying, but good that the fentanyl patch was out of its time and the new one is working. I used to check Dads, I would put the date on it so I knew, then when he said the pain patches were not working, well, they have been on 4 days  bless. Good that you didn't go out and get wet on the trail.

Right, I had better do some pottering. We had a nice lunch out at our fav antique center, their tea room is wonderful. It get so busy, we always book well in advance :) No, I didn't have a cake, but I could easily have face planted into the strawberry and custard tart :D:D

Will write more later, until then, everyone take lots of care. time for pills here. Pepe and Cookie are :animal_busy: and Mother is due her meds, and giving me sideways looks, she knows that medicine is on the way.

I have just been on facebook and noticed we have been friends for a year on there and you posted a piccie with a very small Diddicat on her broom.

No lesson today called off due to heavenly rain. The Rev Delphine and I thanked Him for the rain when it started on Sunday :D She is doing really well as is Bob her ancient beloved dog.

The men have just left for today and there is much more done so will go down and photograph later - exiting!!!

Nice place to go for lunch an antique centre. All that lovely 'stuff' to look at too :)

Evening to all. It has gone much cooler tonight, almost on the verge of popping the heating on  I know, there is no happy medium.

Chickens, of course we can have chickens Kath, but, it we have chickens, then we will have to have chicks too, for extra cuteness, milk, butter and eggs, ideal, all we need is a windmill to grind the flour and we are ready to bake our own cakes :)

Mistress Sleek telling porkie pies, they both seem to come out with some corkers at the moment. They weren't skating with the drip stands they were assisting with ward duties ! Yes, of course you were.
I know Toni, a year already, I have seen all the pictures again, they are really good. I did post a pic of Miss Sleek on her broomstick, I have it somewhere.

Indeed the rain has been very welcome, our rivers have risen a little.
Glad Rev D is doing well and her elderly doggie too.

Hope things are coming along well in the bathroom, I am sure they are. No doubt you will have been and had a fuss round :)

Ham was always a winner with Pepe, when he had pills to take. Only the best ham, none of that pressed together rubber slices

Candles and a heart for the wall, lovely, you can never have enough candles Barbara. Good that you put the world to rights. More cake, with pleasure. I would have loved to face plant in the custard :) That would have caused a few looks :lol:

Hope your feet are feeling better after a soak. Epsom salts, long time since I heard of them. Cannot beat the tried and tested remedies.

Feet, cannot wait for Friday to have my podiatry session. They will need industrial clippers. A farrier might be a good idea.

Right, it is late, I am racked with indigestion and have had angina too  :? , so I will away and rest.

Everyone take care, hi to all those not in at present. Magical dreams XXXX Aidan

The shower room will be big enough for Lucy and still fit in the things she needs shower seat etc.

Aidan lovely picture for last night thank you :)

A windmill I arrive this morning and what do I see a windmill!!! that l did not expect!!  Ah I see it's for our cake making......

The chicks are adorable and their Mums are already producing eggs. I will be able to make some creme brulee :D

'Helping with ward duties'??? Yeah right!!!! Best ham it is for Charley's pusskin only the best will do :)

I have indeed had fuss around downstairs of course and it's coming along nicely Lucy is a lucky girl :)

I heard the farrier has been booked for your feet for podiatry  you will be able to wear shoes 2 sizes smaller when you get home ;)

Afternoon one and all - quite a warm day, verging on "glowing".

I see the Rev Delphine has her direct line, as Dad did, to the powers that be :) Things move in mysterious ways, when we least expect them. That's my philosophical moment for the day.

Thanks Toni, I have always liked that picture, magical. So the windmill has arrived already, goodness, that was quick. Bags of grains too. Fortunately it is all automated, all we do is bake the cakes.
The eggs have already gone into todays cake mix. The girls seem very happy and their feathers are growing back nicely.

I won't mention the fact that we had chi*** for lunch today  sssshhhh.

Glad Charlies puskins is enjoying the best ham, Pepe was on high sniff alert when the Chi*** was being prepared, it was just too tempting in the shop, freshly roasted...........He was first to try it and said Miss Sleek will be jealous. So don't tell her then. But, I bet he will.

I thought there would be fussing downstairs, Lucy is lucky and it is well deserved.

Yes, we are on countdown for the farrier, sorry, podiatrist, tomorrow afternoon. I can shred socks very easily at the moment. I know they will say "goodness, you left it is bit long to get an appointment"  Trouble is, you have your appointment then they say, ring the surgery in two weeks, to book in for 6-8 weeks. Then I completely forget  I will have to put it in the phone, to remind me.

I think there is broomstick practice later, when we are napping. light breeze, no rain, plenty of pigeons to chase.

Hi Joan, good to hear that the boiler is working as it should, long may it continue.
Mum n Dad are doing ok, out and about every day, we see them every two to three days and always for coffee and scones, twice a week at the GC.
We keep suggesting things for Mum to eat and her blood sugars are more stable at the moment.

Kath that basket is perfect, I used it earlier to gather the eggs for the cake,
    FNK_Ice-Cream-Cake-How-To-Step-13_s4x3.jpg.rend.sniipadlarge.jpeg

I hope there is enough cream, I didn't want to skimp. :o:lol::lol:
Hope you are not in too much discomfort and your patches are working ok.

Barbara I hope you feet are soothed, after their soaking. Another cake to sample.

Hi to Carol, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Charrisse, Mig, Everyone take lots of care.

We had a nice visit to the GC, our usual coffee and treats. Then a little shopping. We went to a different supermarket, so will have to pop into Sainsbury's tomorrow, to get the rest of the "bits"

The surgery rang, I had ordered a full repeat last night, online. Apparently there is a huge bag full, ready for collection, done the other day. Strange said I, I didn't order a full repeat 12 days ago? Anyway, whatever is there I will have :) Must have been a glitch on the system.

    Hi all good afternoon

just popped in for a cuppa and to do a bit of zoo petting all babies are happy. love the chicks and chickens. Eggs very useful for the cake baking. lots of babies in the zoo now can't keep up with all the new ones.

We have had a couple of quite busy days. have recently had a letter a couple of weeks ago from the councils legal people stating that I will not receive any compensation for my accident with the walker hitting the pot hole. so I am now thinking of going to my accident insurance to see if have better luck with them.

I am now on countdown to Graycie's christening on the 28th May not long now we will go down on the Friday and stay in hotel for three nights and come home on the Monday. so 8 days we will be off on little travels again. present and card brought and just need to get some buttons for a cardigan I have just knitted for Graycie as a little extra also I will get a little small thing for Lillie too.

Toni the Pictures are lovely and so glad you enjoyed your holiday and that Lucy's shower room is coming along nicely. I love Crème Brulee. i'm on facebook too its the way keep up with all my Thanet family. and I get all the pictures of the ggd on there too.

Joanhope you are getting on ok with the Boot.

Aiden you will have to have very strong words with these naughty puskins telling Porkies and flying around on broomsticks it just cannot carry on and now It's skating with dripstands whatever next. thanks for the gorgeous picture last night.

oh well don't need too cook tonight as we are off for our café church meal and meet up with about 3 others.
and at least I got my repeat prescription from the dr today I had wondered if it would take longer as I know they were having trouble with this cyber attack on the computers on Monday.

I must up and away now got to get changed for going out in a little while hope the rain stays away it has been a bit drizzly on and off this afternoon.

    love to all.
    Stay positive always👍xx

Evening to everyone. A warm afternoon and evening, very still out. The bats are out, we can see them flying past the street light. I like bats :)

Hi Carol, feel free to enjoy yourself in the zoo, it is growing by the day, lambs, tapirs, chickens, chicks, meerkats, red pandas, miniature pot bellied piggies, did I miss any of our creatures. I have a feeling that Christine would like a couple of Giraffe's. I will have to go see if we have a pen big enough.

That's not nice, the Council getting away with things like your accident. It was their fault that caused your fall. Huh. I hope you have better luck with your own accident insurance.

On countdown, how exciting, the 28th, no, it won't be long now until the Christening. That will be the Bank Holiday week end, very nice three nights in a hotel, being looked after. I am sure the cardigan is beautiful and Graycie will look adorable in it. A little something for Lillie too, bless.

I will have words with Pepe and Miss Sleek. They are telling stories like it is going out of fashion.

good that you don't have to cook this evening, hope you had a good time with your Church friends / cafe meal.
You received your prescription too, so that's two of us, although I didn't even order mine and they are ready to collect :? :? Strange, must be the computer throwing a fit.

Off for my toes sorting later this afternoon, cannot wait, I will be floating when I come out (I wish). The local hospital is SO SO quiet, there is never anyone there. It is new, there are a couple of wards and several clinics, x ray, physio, OT, but we rarely see anyone other than the receptionist. You are certainly not left hanging around. There is even a little cafe / dining room, all very nice.

Better move, I am setting rapidly. Pepe has the gel cushion and I am on the hard chair !! Spoilt, no, not at all.

Love to all, hi to everyone who is not in at the moment, as long as you are as ok as possible.

So you knew Miss Sleek was over? She wanted to teach Pepe loop the loop  it appears he isn't over-keen :? She also visited Charley's cat (while they are on hols) to 'cheer her up' I dread to think what mess I'll be clearing up this morning now

She wants to 'try out' the windmill and take Pepe up there with her....

Yes you must put podiatry in your phone TODAY I will try to remind you later.

Mum is doing so well, Dad too of course, but she is amazing :D

Carol all you were hoping for was a replacement walker wasn't it? Maybe a bit of a threat is in order?

How exiting baptism to go to!!! Of course you will want a little something for Lillie too she won't remember her own will she? :)

Facebook has indeed got it's uses I must say for seeing photos and sharing them with others. You have found me on there have you???

Gosh you just reminded me I must contact the hospital again today they asked me to ring back later in the week when I rang on Monday to change a 'clash' between mine and Lucy's.

    Enjoy your no-cooking day :)

Did you look like Charlie Chaplin Barbara in your trousers?

I'll give Diddicat the WD40 when she goes out later to oil the windmill so its a bit quieter. She has got her uses

Your niece does know you well it's lovely to have her I bet - do I remember rightly that you had all boys?

    Rice pudding...mmmmm.... :)

Nice egg basket Kath :) Yes can you see the hens? Their feathers will soon come back. I have got them some extra special corn to help them on their way. How happy are they running about? :Dg075.gif
