Got here today to find Greenfinches scoffing the chickens corn, so I hung some millet sprigs up, and some chard leaves for the chickens. I love the crunchy bread - was that you Barbara? I had some with a couple of Myrtle's eggs. Or was that Cicely's? I boiled them (the eggs, not Myrtle and Cicely)

Beautiful golden, runny yolks. Gorgeous. I love the windmill.

Morning, yes, me, here, in a morning

Just thought I would grab a moment or two, before lunch and then off to the farriers to have my trotters trimmed. :?

Oh yes Toni, it was all done with our own flour, Mary Berry did all the baking, which was very kind of her :)

Loop the Loop, oh my, that's why Pepe looked a bit  last evening. I imagine there will be broomstick practice while we are out this afternoon. Not sure he is ready for flying upside down yet   He said they will do some gliding, clicking and litter throwing - oh Joy.

Miss Sleek can certainly oil the windmill, she is more deft of paw than Pepe, so he would not be good at oiling, as well as clinging on for dear life.

It is a but like the one in Trumpton, lol. We are getting through some eggs and flour with all this baking.

Yes, Mum is doing really well, the District Nurse was pleased and will pop back next week I think, just to keep a foot in the door really and let them know that they are there as needed. It is her 80th Birthday this Aug and their 60th Anniversary in the same week. Family gathering of about 20 so far, coming to a nice country pub near us.

Dad is just Dad and will never change, his memory is not good, but he manages ok, with Mum to keep tabs on him and tell him to stop moaning.:lol:

Our Niece is enjoying her new job, has made a good impression already, which is great news, in her first week. She is glad to be back in the Education system again, she works in IT and schools and universities are full of them, so she is kept busy keeping things running smoothly.

Hope you managed to sort out the trousers Barbara, you don't want them uncomfortable or not looking right.
So you are trying out a bread machine, very nice, Mary Berry is around, so she will give you some hints and tips :)

Glad your feet feel better, Epsom salts are still widely used, it was the mustard baths that I was thinking of

Help yourself to the farriers tools, to have a go at my trotters.:lol:

Miss Sleek will oil the windmill later today, on her travels.

Right, I had better make a move. Lunch to sort, sandwiches :) easy to do. Says me, throwing things about, lol.

Catch you all later, take care one and all.

Look at me, now I have been to the podiatrist - well, that's how much better they feel, if I tried to do the above, I would be hospitalised.

We were early, there was not a soul about, save two receptionists, podiatrist was waiting - in, done, out and home in time for a cuppa before 3. He did say, "they are a bit long this time :o , DONT forget to ring in a couple of weeks to make another appt.
I have put it in the schedule Toni.

Hi Joan, Barbara and all, I will write again later, time for a cuppa and a nap. Enough gadding about. XX Aidan

Good lad Aidan!! Was there a loud clang when the clippings landed in the dish??

It really is amazing how well Mum is doing perhaps her helping dad is part of the reason. Long may it last that's all I can say - 80th and 60th anniversary too? Brilliant I bet there were times no-one thought they'd get there. Now look at them :)

I thought of Trumpton too

The windmill was oiled this afternoon when you were out. Miss Sleek used up all of my WD40  but at least it's quiet. ye indeed much gliding some clicking and litter chucking I hope it wasn't toooo messy when you got back? :?

It rather sounds as though your niece has found the ideal job for her I am so glad she's happy :)

Kath the eggs are lovely aren't they?! Such a dark yellow :) I have made some crème brulee if anyone fancies some? Millet and chard? Pefect for our girls :D

Barbara has been gallivanting!!! That was one of my Mum's words!! :) ah :)

Not the best look is it Charley Chaplin. I hope you did put them right

We are all girls so I am expecting maybe to have some boys as Gkids in time. One of them has to oblige I think???

Oooh I like the linen mix trousers ::

Joan I bet the lady on the phone feels sorry for you and Sue! I'm glad the boot gives support. We had a good day thank you I hope you did too.

My day was odd I popped up to a neighbours to drops some money off and her husband, (shed man), had to be rushed to hospital for urgent tests (kidney) he has had bloods 3 days running and they were having the GKids so I took him up while she fetched the children. Bless her she actually left me some gorgeous flowers on my doorstep to say thank you!!

After the welcome they have given us it's the least we could do.

    Love to everyone

    Evening all
Hope everyone has had a good day I not had ad one today had my usual weekly dinner out with Mr T did not meet my friend as her husband is not to well as she didn't want to leave him on his own, so after getting the fruit in for the weekend I had a long chill out in a coffee shop on my own.
all the animals seem happy this evening.
Aiden councils excuse was that they had checked the state of the said road on the 1st of the month in whish I had the accident and they felt that the it did not warrant repair as it was not deep enough I mean how deep does it have be :?: :?: perhaps it has to be big enough to fall down before the fill it in. :? :?
christening countdown is now well and truely on 9 days to go although I expect they will want to see us either Friday or Saturday as it will be quite busy on the Sunday at the chistening and the little party after. managed to get Lillie 2 little beginer reading books today for her little present.
glad you didn't have to wait too long at the hospital for your appointment so Pepe has your gel cushion perhaps he telling you that he wants one too.
Very strange about your prescription very strange indeed :? most certainly the computer having some sort fit. hope your not still floating or Pepe may think you want to join him on the broomstick :lol: .

Toni no I haven't found you on facebook but I would need both your names to find it . you can find me though under Carol Rees-Partridge if you want.

Joan I am in London I id manage to save the money for a replacement walker about 5 weeks after the accident at the end of October last year but have since been trying to recoup some of the cost back in compensation from the council ut it seems they are not going too.

Barbara yes looking forward to next weekend at the christening and our weekend away it will be good. your right a lot of people don't bother these days but well its what GD wanted for both her girls. Our council don't give up easily i'm afraid and they don't give anybody much I tell you. have always had to buy my own crutches and walkers right from the start.

ok suppose I now need to move or the joints will e complaining so will visit again soon.

    good night all
    Stay positive always👍xx

    Hi to everyone

Glad you liked the breakfast, just a little something for not replying to your post. I know we both forget things left, right and center, bless us eh.
So it is your joints creaking and not the windmill. I think Miss Sleek was heading off there with a can of WD 40. :?

It is nice looking at property, I have about 100 houses saved on Rightmove, ready for when we win the lottery......we could be waiting a long time. I see no one won again on Friday and by Tuesday it is an eye popping 100 million ££ OH MY.

So you looked like Charlie Chaplin, oh dear. No, I am not chuckling, not at all........ :? glad you put them straight. Cool linen sounds ideal, very necessary for when we have those "moments" as we do so frequently.

Oh Joan, you have had to have the boiler man out again. 3 radiators not working. It is beyond the pail now. No wonder the lady agreed that you need a new boiler - end of. I hope he fixed it, yet again. It soon will be a new one, with all the spare parts being fitted.
I hope you have a good week end, love to Sue and Doggies too. Hope you can get out and about.

There was quite a collection of clippings Toni, I was ashamed. I have seen him around and about but he has never tended to my tootsies, his parents live in the same village as us and he lives in town, so not far from work.

Yes, I am sure you are right, Mum is kept going by keeping Dad going, if that makes sense. :? Plus we keep them going too, with our trips out several times a week. 60 years and 80th Birthday, no, I guess a lot of people think that they would never reach that stage in life.

Great minds think alike, Trumpton, I cannot get the image out of my head.
    camberwick6.jpg

    Wasn't he called Windy Miller :lol::lol::lol: :? :? LOL

I think Miss Sleek put a little too much WD 40 on the sails, they are going at such a speed, we have so much flour....... I have had to push the stop button, so that we can catch up, I know Barbara will need some for her bread maker.

No, there was not too much mess, a bit of fur on the carpet and some clicks, only a few bits of litter, they must have been flicking and not shoveling.

Yes, our Niece sounded very happy with her job, very pleasing.

I might just sneak a little creme brulee' thank you. Nice crunchy topping, lovely. The eggs are very good.

I hope your neighbour is ok, having been rushed to hospital for kidney tests. Did you take him to hospital?
That was kind of her to leave some flowers for you. As you say, they have welcomed you all so warmly, which is lovely.

Hi Carol - I forgot it is Friday and dinner out. Sorry your friends husband is not well, naturally she would not want to leave him alone.
A long chill out in the coffee shop, Costa I would guess. Very nice. I could sit and drink coffee on my own, it would not bother me, just watching the world flitting by.

Don't get me started on the depth of holes. It is ridiculous. Apparently they do not fill any holes in the road unless they are more than 4cm in depth. Well, that is more than enough to trip and fall, ridiculous. I am the bane of our local authority, I am always writing to them about the state of the roads.
I would have another go at them, who decides this stupid depth, who decides that you cannot trip and fall, unless it is into chasm :x
I did have success with the road up to our park, it was in a terrible state and it took me two years, but, the council eventually resurfaced the whole lane. I was the local hero :) I often say I will mention this matter to my MP.

you should not have to be buying your own crutches or walkers, that's terrible. A word in the ear of the GP, to refer you to the OT department and physio, they have always supplied my crutches, shower aids / loo frames etc.

No, we were not out long, a quick trip to Sainsbury's, then to pick up my shipping order of pills that had been dispensed without me ordering them. The pill cupboard is groaning and full to the brim.

We have two gel cushions and Pepe is always heading to the nearest one, so we are forever swapping around. If he had his own, he would not sit on it.

8 days now and counting down until the Baptism, exciting. Glad you have found some little presents for Lillie.

I have sent you a message on Facebook, hope that is ok.

Well, I had better check that all the babies and animals are all ok. They seem settled, warm, I have left some heat lamps on, it is quite chilly tonight.
Cilla and lilly are fine, Chickens are all safely in their huts. Blush (is that the panda's name now) is munching on some fruit and insects.

we have a zoo keeper there full time now, seeing as we are getting busy. Of course we all have full access 24 hours a day, for feeding and petting.

On that note I will move. I am dining chair shaped.

Hi To Christine, Kath, Kerrin, Charrisse, Elizabeth, Mig

    Morning!!

Aidan that was a lovely prayer thank you - fair made me well-up!

Oh gosh too much WD40?? Perhaps we ought to have used ordinary oil??? :? Great Trumpton picture you found - it was Windy Miller yes!! Those were the days :) Barbara will use some of the flour no problem.

I have cross examined Diddicat and she admitted it was only flicking and that she has tried one of your gel cushions herself, very nice apparently. Flying lesson later if it stays dry - no loop the loops apparently it sets of Pepe's Meniere's??? That's what he said anyway....

I met the Zoo keeper just, on my way in, he seems a nice chap and told me there is a lady Zoo keeper who works nights so we can do less shovelling now with their help more stroking of the babies :)

I did indeed take the neighbour to the hospital they are very worried about him. He has been having breathing problems etc recently so it's starting to make sense now if it's his kidneys along with his swollen ankles. He has to go again on Tuesday.

How embarrassing seeing the podiatrist in public

To make such anniversaries with their health problems is wonderful. I am sure all the extra TLC from you two has been vital.

Carol I am glad you had a good day out, but hope your friend's husband recovers soon.

I will nip onto facebook and find you. Aidan has managed already!! He is more techy than I am.

I filled our fruit up too and brought some extra for the meerkats and the sloths.....Blush shovelled loads down!!

Lillie will love her books and it will help her feel less left-out on christening day. I had mine Christened of course. Shame less do these days though :(

Hi Joan!! I know you'll be in soon :) I hope it's warm enough to have NO heating needed today!!

Better get on the shower man is here today after being sent on an emergency yesterday.

    Love

Afternoon all we went shopping earlier while it was quiet..used one of there chariots...
Aiden I love it the little man out of the Simpsons, see I have forgot his name.. we dont want you hospitalized so no funky moves..glad the feet feel better ..snap I go on rightmove..nothing wrong with dreaming.. :) yes bless us..my memory is getting worse by the min.. :? happy to hear your niece has the job she wants..I agree Carol shouldn't have to buy her crutches..I know we dont I have just returned a pair because I ended up with 2...hee trumpton now I love it..
Joan I could gladly kick your boiler..mind you that would be a miracle in its self..I hope they turn up with the parts and they work..is your boot a lot lighter than the cast..
Carol I feel for you ..the council tey all they can to get out of these accidents ..like you say how deep does the hole have to be..they know people cant get legal aid like they used to...not long now to the Christening...nice to buy Lillie a present then she doesn't feel left out..I used to like sitting in the coffee shops and day dreaming..dont mind my own company... :)
Toni how is Lucy bathroom coming on is it all done..mind you these things can take time..don't think there will be any more GC but you never know ...your poor neighbour Im so glad you could help out ..his wife must have been so worried...and how lovely to buy you flowers ..you really have fitted in the village..hope he is ok..

Evening to everyone. A showery day, but welcome rain none the less. Everything is growing a pace in the garden.

It was a beautiful prayer Toni, I was touched too. I love Angels.

I see the windmill is up and running again, not quite as fast as it was - I think Miss Sleek can only use axle grease on the bearing from now on, WD 40 is a bit slick.
I loved the Trumpton piccy. Pugh Pugh, Barnie Mcgrew, Cuthbert Dibble and Grub..........:lol:
I assume that the man in the windmill is Windy Miller, he seems a nice chap, despite a slightly worrying name.

flicking of litter was ok, but today has been litter shovelling, new litter sparkling clean tray, fresh litter is wonderful to throw everywhere, he said Miss Sleek is coming over on Monday while we were out, to throw some with him.
Pepe has many things, but I am not sure vertigo is one of them lol. He says that he is happy to watch Miss Slimkins doing loop the loops -he is a bit precious, as we all know
They are making up some right porkie pies between them.

I have met the lady zoo keeper this evening, she is lovely, very capable and knowledgeable about all sorts of animals, big and small. Talking of big, I would rather like a warthog or two. Not sure they are into lots of cuddles but they love to wallow in mud.
    20101224-130211-OZDamSW.jpg

I know they are not the cutest of animals, but they have a certain "charm". Mrs Zoo keeper said she is happy to feed them and make sure there is a lot of mud to wallow in, but she is not petting them :lol: :? Not with those tusks. They will make good guards though, they don't suffer any nonsense.

Good that you were on hand to take your neighbour to the hospital, it does sound renal, when you mention shortness of breath and swollen ankles, could be cardiac related too. Hope he is ok. ((()))

I am sure we help to keep mum and dad going, we do our best. They popped in for their usual sat morning coffee and croissants. Mum had not had a good day yesterday, so was a bit washed out. She seemed ok by the time they left, just tired. Bless.

I don't know about Techy, it took me ages to work out why Carol could not add me as a friend on Facebook. There was some box ticked in security settings, then everything worked ok :)

Blush is loving the fruit selection at the moment. I brought in some giant millipeeds for the meerkats, they are having great fun chasing them around. A bit crunchy when they eat them though :?
Hope the shower man did a good job. Must be nearly picture progress time :)

Oh Joan, not more parts coming for the boiler, it obviously has a mind of its own, this boiler of yours. I am with Barbara, we need to kick it down the street :) Well, we might not be able to, but I am sure we could summon some assistance. 8) 8)
I have heard of other Councils saying the same thing, when people have asked for pedestrian crossings, why does someone have to loose their life before action is taken?? Totally crazy.

Hi Barbara, out early to beat the hoards of shoppers. It's good using one of their buggies, I love them, at first I felt very embarrassed but not any more, they hare very handy for getting people out of the way :)

Homer, is that the man you are thinking of, out of the Simpsons. No, don't worry, no funky moves, well, not intentionally. If my knee gives out then things get a bit quirky  :?

Glad you enjoy Rightmove too, I was planning on moving in to one of the houses, but, sadly, our numbers did not come up tonight. Maybe next time and yes, it is good to dream and dream big. Why not eh.
No, it is not fair that Carol has to buy her own crutches, I have had two sticks and three pair of crutches to date. I just pop into the physio dept and ask for new ones when mine get a bit rickety. They just ask who my GP is and they are ready a day later.

I don't mind my own company for a short while, then I usually try and do something that is not really good, like clean something either higher up or low down. Then I get told off

So you are off to Llandudno next week, how lovely, it is beautiful there, great Orm and Little Orm as I recall. It is a lovely bay. I think the weather is set pretty fair, getting quite hot by next week. Is that good, or bad. It will be a bit cooler on the coast, so you should be ok. Don't worry about me, melting :lol:

Well, I had better move, again, after many potterings I will post, before it all vanishes.

Hi to everyone who is not about at present, Kath, Christine, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all. Everyone take lots of care.

Butterflies lovely Aidan....many of the girls who we lost at the unit loved them and they comfort their parents.

I've braved meeting the warthogs. The baby ones are rather sweet actually (minimal tusks and very playful). All other animals seem very well. My bamboo is coming along so blush will be able to have some soon. All this rain/sun/rain/sun has helped a lot. Can you deal with giant millipedes please :?

I am uploading the latest (almost) shower piccies as I type.

Pew, Pew Barley, Magrew, Cuthbert, Dribble, Grout. That's what I thought it was as a child!!

    I know now!!!

So the Meniere's was another fib?! Probably Pepe trying to save face with Show-em-all-Sleek! She will use the correct oil in future :? probably.

I was at Charley's and Kat's yesterday feeding their cat and what-not. Changed the little immaculised the box....put it down and turned round - there she was christening it with some flicking for good measure

So Miss Slimkins will be over tomorrow? She knows I am having a cuppa with my friend. cats eh?

I am glad to hear Mum was only tired I hope she feels livelier today.

The chap I took to hospital has a heart problem, but the bloods and now ultrasound are showing serious kidney issues. He is v overweight and has type 2 diabetes. Ex-rugby player too so plenty of drinking in the past.

    th_20170518_181056.jpg

    and

    th_20170518_181059.jpg

Will do more in a second post.

Barbara I found this bungalow on rightmove and still look at the ones in 'my area' when they send me reminders!! and I have no intention of moving ever!!

The lady didn't buy the flower she cut and arranged them - she's a retired florist :)

He was out and about in his car yesterday....according to his wife trying to ignore things. Still they will see him again on Tuesday so we shall see :)

I made some more crème brulee so you can have some fresh.

I wish I was coming with you to Llandudno you'll have a lovely time :)

Joan the lady's husband has to go back to the hospital on Tuesday they are very worried about him. I'll let you know more soon.

I cannot believe the boiler is still causing trouble  grrrr!

Well I had better get on need to wash my hair this morning.

    Love to everyone

Afternoon to all, a warm day, even more so with the tumble dryer going

Butterflies are magical creatures aren't they Toni, a lot of people link them to lost loved ones, when a butterfly comes close. What they do almost defies imagination, from caterpillar to butterfly, complete re-birth. Wonderful. Mum always loved them and grew many butterfly bushes to attract them, they would always sit on her cardigan when she was pottering in the garden :)

The warthogs, well, they had a big run around this morning, with their tails vertical, making a lot of noise, so I kept out of the way, they were not in the best of moods  Their mud had dried up a bit so after much water, they are happier now, wallowing. They do have very long tusks :? :?
Yes, I can deal with millipeeds and the like, just spiders are a no go. I don't think we need a tarantula tank or snake tank. I would not go near the place.

"Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble, Grub." You were right, it was me thinking there were two Hugh's. Well, it is a long time ago, lol

Pepe said Miss Sleek is over later, while we are napping. I think there is a trip up to the top of Pendle Hill, (pepe is not convinced), but he will go along with Missy. At least they can see our home from the hill, so he can find his way back if Miss Sleek goes off on a loop the loop episode.

Oh yes, a spotless tray is a must, we normally have a race on, to see who gets to the fresh litter first. Yesterday is was Miss Cookie. She doesn't flick, she is very dainty. Pepe throws it to the four corners of the room.

Oh dear, your poor neighbour does not sound too well at all. His renal functions must be way off, plus they might well have seen something on the ultrasound. Did they not suggest he stay in hospital? Not sure he should be driving around :?

Lucy's bathroom is really coming on, I love those alcoves to put your "essentials" in. Very on trend, love it.

I might help myself to the fresh creme brulee', it is very good indeed. Thank you

Hope you enjoyed your hair wash. Talking of hair, I cut OH's this morning, but got a little carried away around one ear................ooops :? :? Fortunately, with B being a hairdresser he was able to sort it out and make each side match. I have been downgraded to a very junior stylist now..............:cry:

I had mine cut again, I know, it didn't need doing, but I felt better for that extra millimeter being taken off :)

Oh a little calf, do we need some in the zoo, they love being fed, Barbara will be there like a shot.

I heard that we are having two Giraffes this coming week, Christine will be very happy, just some finishing off to do in the pens - they will happily live with the warthogs, even they will not mess with something 20 foot tall.

Hi Joan, so it is the radiators that are not behaving, the boiler is being good, well, at least that's one thing. Good job it is getting warmer and the heating is not as necessary.
The boot does sound heavy, with a metal frame, I didn't realise it was one like that. Is it this week it comes off? I forget, time flies so quickly.

Hi Barbara -I knew you would spot the little calf, I am sure we can have some in the zoo, you would love to feed them I know.

I am sure it will be good weather for you, on your little holiday. It looks like it is going up to 23 degrees here, more than enough for me. I will be in hiding.
I remember Mum talking of the Chara's, taking them on trips out from Merseyside, where she grew up. I have seen the ones that they have restored and use for tourist trips. I will have to be looking at properties in Llandudno, see what big houses they have there. Thank you in advance for blowing some sea air our way.

So you didn't win the lotto either, well, no one did, so another roll over. Maybe next week eh. Someone has to win, just pure luck and normally won with lucky dips, which we always get.

That is lovely that you sent the Angel Prayer to your GD, people often think there are no such thing as Angels, but, I would beg to differ. Being out late with work, is worrying, even more so in the big City.

The birds do start early don't they, when I get up, if the cats are messing about, the birds are singing like mad. Glad you managed to get back to sleep though.

Well, it is pill time, yet again  I had better move, the bones are shouting and I am waging battle with pompholyx once more. just as it clears, up pop the next lot of blisters and splits.

Hi to everyone who is not in at the moment. I think it is time for some light refreshment. XXXX Aidan IMG_7768.JPG

Good afternoon on this lovely sunny Sunday.
Hope everyone has had a good weekend Whatever you have been doing.
Loving all the babies in our zoo they are all loving the sun and chomping away on there various foods. We are now on a 7 day christening count down.

No Aidan it was not Costas this time it was another shop near the supermarket but their coffee is good cost less but then again it is smaller cup.
I dont know about a chasm I could trip over a piece of paper ha ha the council don't realise that people with walkers don't need a very large dip for the walker to stop dead and tip you over it and here in London our pavements are terrible for being uneven.
If i'd have waited for the Dr to offer me a walker or crutches I would probably still been waiting so I decided to buy them for myself. it takes you all your time getting Drs to refer you to physio then they only give you six weeks or so and that's it. in fact my first lot of crutches were hospital ones from my daughter who had not taken them back to the hospital after hurting her foot.
Like most Kids Pepe obviously likes what belongs to you rather than have one of his own.
    used to love trumpton.

Toni I suppose Christening is a bit like marriage these days a lot of people don't bother. I was christened as a baby however when I met my husband he was a regular at a Baptist church where they believe in baptism when older and able to make you own decision , and a baby is just dedicated and named and when we had our eldest daughter I was going to the same church as well, so much to my mums disgust we had her dedicated same with younger daughter. they both went on to being baptised at the age of 12. none of our grand children were christened or dedicated. however eldest granddaughter decided to have both her girls christened.
yes Blush can certainly shovel the fruit down given the chance.
Have you managed to find me on facebook yet Aidan did after a minor hiccup.

Joan that is bad why do people have to be killed or injured for these councils to do anything I just don't understand the logic of it myself.

Barbara I have an accident insurance policy which I am going to contact to see if I get any joy there. I don't mind sitting in coffee shops on my own but don't really like being on my own at home weird that's me.

Toni Lucy's shower is coming along nicely i'm sure she is gong to love it.

think it is time to eat again as Mr T has just come in with our tea so I will take my leave now and say see you soon have a good end to your weekend.
    Stay positive always👍xx

    Afternoon :)

What a lovely day we had but the house is too warm now!!! I'm never happy am l

Joan I presume the boot is intended to keep the foot supported even longer? the bones in our feet are tiny aren't they? Yes the shower room is coming along. The loo and sink are in the garage!

    Carol
what a good idea actually to let children decide when they are old enough :? Definitely I can see the idea of letting them make the commitment. Mmmmm.... You're right though about weddings being devalued these days too. Such a shame.

I have sent you a friend request on facebook have you got it?

When my arthritis proper plays up I struggle to step over even a feather so I agree with you. The council are wrong the dip is too much.

Thank you I think the floor might go down tomorrow in the shower room :)

Aidan butterflies are magical. When my Dad died Charley was 7 and she believed all the butterflies were him on her own not my suggestion so - who knows?

Your Mum must have been a special and calm lady for butterflies to settle on her so easily.

Miss Sleek did take Pepe on a ride today and avoided loop the loops - I have pretended to agree that Meniere's is really horrible. She said she could see your bungalow from there and got so exited.

Diddicat is also dainty in her litter - and private she faces away form you  Charley's cat is a total flicker - all over the shop!!

I think my neighbour was insistent about going home.....his wife is worried and will try hard to go with him on Tuesday - she has an emergency bag packed already. I think he is in serious trouble.

Oh dear your hair cutting skills are deteriorating? Poor boy I bet he wasn't impressed!!

    Demoted? Probably deserved??? :?

I love the alcove too I think Lucy is going to be over the moon :)

Barbara would love calves. That one is adorable his mouth and eyes and ears are huge and so gentle. He is on his own with his Mum.

Giraffes??? Oh dear was that Christine? So long as she is on midwifery duties if ever required

The pompholyx is back?? I am so sorry lotion up and avoid water.

Barbara those baskets go rusty don't they? We have one too, but I don't like it even if it is necessary

Don't you just love the calf? Aidan says you can have some at the zoo if you do.

The flowers really meant something it was Pom the lady who won the wisteria opening competition.

We had a fabulous day here and even got in the garden. I am ordering 2 water butts and will use my solar irrigation system I had at the old house. Once up it saves so much time and effort :)

    Right better get on

Love to everyone especially our missing friends ((()))

Evening to all, gosh, it is getting warmer, I am almost having a "moment". High temps for the rest of the week :?

    Hi Carol,
The zoo is getting bigger by the day, we need to keep a list of all the animals. Thank goodness we have some zoo keepers to help out.

I was thinking earlier, how many days left, is it 6 or seven, 7, but nearly 6, getting closer to the Baptism:)

Anywhere that sells good coffee is ok by me, I do class myself as a coffee snob now, lol. The cups in Costa are HUGE, if you have a large Americano, it comes in a bucket, with two handles. Yummy.

I can sympathise with tripping over thin air, I am often flying into door frames, even more so since we had new carpets. OH watches when we are out and warns me of cobbles, kerbs and uneven spots ahead.

That is terrible, having to wait so long to see another professional allied to medicine. I guess the sheer number of people in one particular area, puts an enormous amount of pressure on all services.

Walkers do stop in their tracks at dips and the like, the Council obviously are not aware of that, it is their responsibility to maintain the kerbs, pavements and roads, to a satisfactory standard. I had better not get on my soap box

Very true, a lot of people do not bother with a Church service for either marriage or christenings. Dad was a C of E Rector and we had quite a few older people who were Baptised in the Church, alongside the youngsters.
Anyone who was getting married came to see Dad several times and he had long chats with them.

We have had a Civil Ceremony, back in 2007, a very quiet occasion, just us and both sets of parents :) Then a lovely meal afterwards.

    Hope you enjoyed your meal.

See, I am not alone in being too warm am I Toni, I bet Barbara is glowing as well. Wait until next week end

Who knows indeed, there are far more wonders around us than we can ever imagine.

Yes, butterflies loved Mums cardigans, a lot of them were pale yellows and blues, so they would be attracted to the colours. The robins used to pop in through the window and take bits of cheese from her, even the squirrel did the same, until she fell out with it for being too greedy :lol:

I think Pepe enjoyed his trip out, nice weather, good views, just chilling out on the broomstick. Nothing too fast or scary.

They are funny with the litter trays, dainty, Mother digs as if she is going for gold and pepe likes to throw litter, being a big strong boy

It sounds like your neighbour needs to be in Hospital now, not waiting until Tuesday. A lot can happen in two days, if the right medical help is not to hand. I hope he is ok.

Yes, I am demoted, without a doubt, he had to go over it again with the clippers, as I had missed some areas, I went over it umpteen times. Apparently I can only answer the phone now. I cannot even brush the floor. :? :?

I am sure Lucy will love the bathroom, it is looking really good. I want an alcove :)

The calf is lovely, we can take the calf and mum too. Christine hasn't mentioned Giraffes, but I know she was very interested in April, so yes, she will be on duty if there are any babies due in the future.

I have my lotions by my side and keep applying, then what do I do, potter away and end up in the sink, not me, just my hands

The solar irrigation sounds really good, OH is always watering, handy that the neighbours hosepipe is on our garden side. We pay for our water in with our ground rates and we are on a bore hole, so we can use as much as necessary. Sometimes they switch over to mains, as and when needed. Glad you enjoyed some time in the garden, I bet Bot is having a busy time. Oh cut our verge out the front, it was like a meadow, it grows so so fast.

We will be off to te GC this morning. It is always nice and quiet on a Monday, so we can just chill out and enjoy our coffee's. I will no doubt be leaking after the second cup. Mmmm, scones too.

OH is busy away making jewellery, he has taken it up as a hobby and is making some beautiful things. Wire work, chain mail, bracelets, bag charms, everyone is so impressed. We watch the jewellery channel a lot now, they sell kits, charms, silver, wire, beads, every gemstone you can imagine.............

Well I had better move, I am numb.

Love to all, everyone who is not in at present, hope things are as ok as possible.

I will go check on the chickens, see if there are some eggs for breakfast. N night XXXX Aidan Mama%20Chicks(sm).jpg

Oh thanks for the eggs Aidan :)

I will whip up some scrambled I think this morning If Karin comes by she can have hers on the train :)

I had a white egg omelette the other day as I really had made crème brulee it was rather nice not much different to whole egg one :?

Ah yes it must have been your mum's cardies that did it. Sounds like she'd have loved our menagerie so long as we didn't have any greedy squirrels!!

We got married in 2005 and the year after my friend who's hub later died, then my friends had their civil ceremony the year after then another couple the year after that. Started off a trend we did ;) 2007 makes THIS a special year for you two then? :D

Of course Pepe is a big strong boy :animal_busy: very strong. Flying lesson today though so he'll be on his own broom later. Diddicat is a private litter user for definite and often 'goes' outside she prefers that if she can, but hides it well :)

I agree with you about my neighbour. What a worry for his wife. If I hear anything tomorrow I'll let you know.

You are demoted only to telephone duties  You'll have to work your way back up again

We do have a spare filed for calf and mum? We'll need some quality feed for mum so she had rich milk of course.

A bore hole? That sounds good! My solar system works really well when it's up and running. It will take me a few days to work out where I want the pipes and Paul a few more to attach said pipes to walls and hanging basket brackets etc water butts arriving on Saturday I think....then we'll be off :D

Barbara also makes jewellery doesn't she? I used to in the 80's large earrings as were the fashion so the showed under the perms   I bet he's enjoying it and it keeps him busy too.

Right a quick HELLO to Joan who will be along any second. I hope you are enjoying this weather taking the dogs for their walks :)

Love to you all extra ((())) for friends who aren't posting ATM.

I did some too Kath!! I already regret it pain-wise, but not in other ways it was lovely :)

Barbara Aidan is sensible, but most men will do anything to avoid going to the Drs

Giraffe milk would maybe taste a bit odd!!! hahha!!

I think you ought to take your fan with you On Wednesday that would be very wise.

Joan It sounds like the boot is doing good then if it's stopping the foot swelling. Does the swelling go down overnight?

Exiting stuff happened today downstairs in the basement.....the gadgetry went in (in the garage) which will get rid of the contents of the loo  ) and waste water after showers. Also the waste pipe for the fan.

    Love to everyone
