Hi everyone .. just popping in to have a quick read of all your comings and goings. I find it too exhausting to answer each person so I hope you'll forgive me for not doing that .. between my ailments and my age it's all working against me
I'm so looking forward to the next couple of weeks as my daughter is coming over from Ireland on holiday and whilst they will be staying in their motor van in Thetford they will be visiting me for a couple of days. .. Yay!
I had some tests done to see if I have sleep apnea which turned out negative but when reading the report I couldn't help wondering why they cannot find a better description for people who are overweight instead of "morbidly obese"! .. :? .. it's gives people licence to call us names IYKWIM!
Hopefully I will be in a better state on my next visit but I will have to say bye-bye for now.
All the world is mad except thee and me and even thee's a little odd!

In spite of the fact that it's teeming down, I don't feel too bad. Before it began to rain heavily, we did a Sawley trail. Now I have to decide where I'm going to have a nap. I'd better leave the Okapis so I might try the meercats.

Joan there is no comparison between our old house and this one!! This one wins hands down :)

Aidan I hope you can get online now? and that a homeless day wasn't too dreadful :? Did you take mum and Dad out with you?

Diddicat has been over with a food parcel for Pepe and the girls  I hope the place was respectable when you got in :?

Barbara yes Delphine couldn't do the whole Churchyard (there is a grass-cutter) no-one could alone.

I can do eyeliner thick and black ;)

I was hoping to see Charley today, but hopefully tomorrow now she can sort my settings out. Somehow you must all be 'hidden' :? :? :?

Charisse lovely to see you. Don't worry about replying individually or anything like that. Just pop by and say hello whenever you can and have a cuppa and slice of cake.

A great time ahead then for you? seeing your daughter :)

I agree with you that term is plain offensive

Well-done Kath no walk for me today because the rain only just stopped and the wind dropped with it :) If you drop off with the meerkats they'll climb all over you they are so nosey :)

A very early morning, it is blowing a gale and then some, the season has gone to late Autumn in two days

Joan I am glad the papers and the radio know about your heating, shame on the Bosses for not taking action to remedy this ongoing problem. I so hope the man came and took some decisive action. Come Friday, you can write to your MP :)

Our electric came on about 4 ish, so that wasn't too bad. Boy do you miss flicking a switch or pressing a button, to make everything work.

The cold wash was rather shocking I must admit. Fine when the weather is roasting, but not today, it's chilly. I have just put the heating on, to air us through.

Hi Barbara, we had torrential rain and high winds too, still blowing a hoolie, but the rain has eased off.
Nice that the puskins come to see you when next door are at work, bless them.

I remember going to several Rocky Horror concerts, dressed as Frankenfurter (no, no pictures, sorry, that would be a bit too much lol). I will come along with Toni. I used to borrow my dads Cloak that he wore to Church, when I went to the concerts. His face when I came down all dressed up and ready for off :lol: He was broad minded, very..........I am very good with eyeliner, it was very popular in the 80's, with the new romantics etc.

We did drag the day out as long as we could, but were ready for home soon after 2. So we had to sit, OH got on with the jewellery, I pottered and boiled pans to do the washing up, then it came on just after 4, which was very welcome. Then the tennis was rained off in Paris !!!
We are stopping in today, watching tennis all day and using lots of electricity :)

Glad you GD had a good time at the concert. So many rave about Justin, I think he has matured a bit, from being a spoiled bra*

Hi Charrisse, lovely to see you, have been thinking of you. Don't worry one bit about answering each person, just nice to know you are about.
Sorry that your health is not doing any favours, we can truly sympathise. Arthur is no friend at all, a very unwelcome part of our lives. Couple that with other medical issues and it can all soon spiral. Sending lots of hugs ((()))
Good to hear that you will be seeing your Daughter, over from Ireland. Wonderful, you will enjoy their visit so much, I am sure.

The Drs thought I had apnoea too, but never really followed it up. I cannot remember why.
I think the term used for being overweight is a horrid one too, I am big, but I don't class myself as morbidly obese   Even if the charts in the surgery put me in that bracket. Labels are very fashionable, it is easier to put people into "brackets", far more than saying the person struggles with their weight, due to complex medical issues, mobility issues etc etc.

You take lots of care, enjoy the time with your family :) pop in when you can.

You must have times your walk well Kath, before the Heaven's opened. Now, where did you nap, I could not see you when I noseyed around the zoo. Unless you were hiding with the Bush babies in the trees   I would avoid the meerkats they will torment you all night long, with their chitter chatter and fussing about.

No Toni, our day was not too bad, we went to the Antique Center for lunch, it is very exposed and the wind took your breath away, the rain was horizontal and everywhere was covered in leaves. It was like late Autumn. We blew in............
We both had a lovely cooked breakfast, not had one in a long time. They do a veggie one, but today I was in meat mode (apart from Sausages, I don't do sausages).
To be truthful once we had had lunch and done a quick shop, we were wanting to be home, the puskins don't like stormy weather. Having said that, they were all :animal_busy: when we got home.

There was evidence of biscuit scattering, litter throwing and tuna eating, from Miss Sleeks visit I bet. How on earth did she get here in that weather. She must have good stabilisers on her broom.

No more flying until the storm has faded. Skype is safer. Pepe said she looked a little "windswept"

Good that Rev Delphine has the help that is needed. A lot of parishioners helped with Church grounds in Dads parishes. Goodly folks :)

Hope Charlie can find your friends. I have just had a look (1am) and you only have two, oh dear. :? :?

Right, time is marching, I need to move, I am setting like stone. More tramadol.........

Everyone take lots of care, stay safe and rest well. XXX Aidan

    Good morning everyone :D

I hope you are all well the wind is still here but the rain has stopped and the sun is out :)

Aidan Miss Slimkins is not coming over again until things have settled weather-wise. She really had a hard time yesterday flying in the wind and rain. She was buffeted this way then that and apparently landed on Mum's roof rather than your gravel

Her landing back here wasn't much better either - she landed on Pom's scarecrow

The broomstick has had to go in for a service now

I didn't spot that Joan's boiler saga is in the papers and radio. I would have loved to have read that article!!!

Must have been weird no leccie for so long....yes today stay in and use some electricity because you can

    A quick hi to everyone.

Sports day went well on Monday, ran very smoothly but has whacked me of all my energy. And today have another athletics meet and football match. At least school is closed tomorrow for the election so no prizes for guessing what I'll be doing, after my blood test.

Got my appointment through for my MRI which as on the 21st June at the private hospital. Wasn't expecting that or the apt to come through so quickly. Now just to tell school I need another day off. Luckily my head teacher likes me!

Have a good day everyone, will try catch up later.

AS for the MRI that is great news and of COURSE the head likes you  You get results :D

    Take care

Thank you Joan, I decided on the Bush Babies, they're so cuddly and soft.

Oh Kerrin, just reading about your sports days wears me out.

Aidan, it did rain a bit but got worse after we got home. I decided on the Bush Babies as they were already asleep. Aren't they nocturnal@ The Meerkats were having a rave, or that's what it sounded like. I think cousin Bogdan was visiting.

Next Thursday I have my mammogram (2pm) so I've booked my transport ready. Is the cape ready?

The cape is absolutely ready Kath for your mammogram. We will be with you 100% definite.

Bush babies are the best they love to cuddle off to sleep :D

Joan they are ALL going to sort your heating out then? Finally and once and for all?? I am so pleased to hear the boot has strengthened your foot :)

I am going out to do some weeding!

I see we will have to air the cape Toni, there are a bunch of appointments coming up this month, ENT MRI Mammorgramme to name a few.
Finally the howling winds have stopped, turning into more of a pleasant breeze. Last night was really bad here, we could hear branches snapping in the woods

No Toni, Miss Sleek must stay at home and they can Skype each other to their hearts content. I am not surprised the broom needs a service and Miss Sleek will need a rest, after two crash landings :? :?

I would like to read the article about poor Joan and Sues boiler saga.

Yes, stopping in today, well, a mini potter in the garden, more for a natter with neighbour opposite :) while OH found some sneaky weeds that were hiding in pots. Using lots of leccy too. Will have to pay up for last month tomorrow, our elec and gas is metered and we pay monthly in the main office, so, so much easier.
We share the large LPG tank with next door. Each has their own meter of course. Even though next door thinks he pays for ours as well, lol    :lol: Bless

I bet you were whacked Kerrin, more sports to organise and sort today. Good to hear that things ran very smoothly, you certainly have it organised and on the ball, if you pardon the pun :)

I bet you will be resting, after your bloods. After voting. We will be there for the MRI scan, we will all wear ear muffs. The appointment has come through quickly. The NHS often uses the private sector to reduce their waiting lists.

The head will be fine, you are a credit to the school and any support given to you, is paid back many times over with your good works

Oh yes, must vote, I think this vote is one of the most important elections I can recall. I hope and pray there is only one clear winner.
That's all I will say on the matter. :)

Joan I am glad that there is going to be a BIG meeting, to decide what is going to happen, if you want us to start a petition, we will do, no problems, I am up for a battle :) Good news about the boot being of good use and helping your foot :)

You made the right decision to rest up with the Bush Babies, yes, they are nocturnal, but it was a bit wild last night, so they thought it better to stop in their beds.
The Meerkats are always up to mischief. Little terrors they are.

The cape is ready, I see that Toni has it all ready and waiting for your appointment. Toni's is next week too, so we will all be busy, I had better arrange for more scones.

Right, it is nearly tablet time in my neck of the woods. I hope everyone else is ok and taking lots of care.

We are out, with mum n dad in the morning, stop off at the village hall to vote, then coffee, then vets, then shopping.............

Time for high tea I think. XXX Aidan

    Evening all
Just popped in for a cuppa and perhaps a cake if there are any left, and a cuddle with the bush babies and to check on all the others in our zoo. they all seems quite happy even the warthogs who were happily playing in the mud didn't go to near them though as I didn't fancy a mud bath, It's been dry here today but a lot cooler.

had a good afternoon at my knitting group at the library plenty of chatting done but not a lot of knitting. I am knitting a teddy bear at the moment. for a change as I have got a bit fed up with knitting cardigans.

Toni Yes the girls dresses were lovely Lillie is a lover of pretty party dresses. she has quite a few of them.
I will do my best to keep safe here in London don't worry I am not in central London itself and up until now that's where these thing are happening at the moment.

Joan I really wonder why people cannot live in peace at all
Hope mr big managed to get your boiler working once and for all this time.

Barbara Don't worry about not mentioning me think the lost post was my own fault this time to be honest. I'll join you as a goth with my rollator don't know about the dancing thou.

Charrisse Hope you enjoy your daughters visit.

AidanWe too have had a lot cooler weather the last couple of days yesterday it rained on and off most of the day.

Kerrin Hope your mri goes ok

well have had a lovely cuddle with the bush babies and must now move or else I will find myself stuck in a sitting position .

take care all and stay safe.

    Evening everyone.

Today was as exhausting as I thought it would be. Two sports trips on one day is a bit more than my body can handle. But it's a work from home day tomorrow, along with blood test and voting.

Feeling quite sad tonight. A wild fire is running riot through one of my favourite towns in South Africa which is only 25 mins from where my parents live. Many houses burnt down. [emoji23][emoji23]

A knitting group sounds lovely. Not something I can do anymore, can just about still do my cross stitch.

Noticed this poor tree on the way home today. Apart from a blocked side road luckily no major damage e03754e4c340e175ec132509ae9ee4d7.jpg

Time to nod off to sleep. Think I will
    Sleep well tonight.

    Till the morning zzzzzzzzzz

Toni, I can only see mutual friends, no-one else. I looked on Barbara’s page and found Aiden on there. You were on but it said you didn’t have any friends. I know you used to. Maybe they are all hiding under the cloak. I did need all of my rainwear on Monday. Got soaked 3 times as the rain went through my raincoat. Front and back of my t-shirt and jeans and the legs were soaked through. Luckily, I’d taken a spare pair of jeans to work. My t-shirt dried off quickly but I had to walk round Tesco dripping.

Barbara, I leave my tomatoes outside. I find they do better than they did in the greenhouse. I didn’t get many last year though. Yogurt in your coffee. That’s a new one on me. So you’ve been invited to the band’s concert. Wow. I’m sure your GD will help you and the rest of us with some gothic clothes and make up. Hope your bed has turned up today. Your leg is painful. Do you think it has anything to do with your mattress? Hopefully, the new one will help.

Joan, the saga of your heating is unbelievable. I really don’t understand why they keep sending parts instead of replacing it. Have the paper or the radio said anything about your heating? It might shame the housing association in to doing the right thing. Hope you and Sue and the doggies are ok.

Kath, I didn’t realise it was your husband who was posting on your FB page. It was on the Long Eaton Soapbox page. I think I might snore a bit. I’m sure it’s what has woken me up a few times. So you decided to have your nap with the bush babies. That must have been comfy and cosy. Next Thursday 2pm. I’ll put that in my diary.

Carol, it is so easy to accidentally click on the wrong button. My finger sometimes jumps on its own and adds extra letters. Some of those snapchat pictures are so funny, aren’t they? I can imagine not a lot of knitting gets done at the knitting group. You’ll have to post a pic of your teddy bear when he’s done.

Aiden, I’ve found you on FB on Barbara’s page. No electricity. Don’t know how you managed without it. We take it so much for granted. I went upstairs to watch tv when mine went off some years ago. The tv wouldn’t come on though.

Charrisse, no need to worry about posting to each of us. It can get a bit much. We just like to know how everyone is. Bet you can’t wait for your daughter to come over. It’ll be lovely for you to see her. You are right, morbidly obese sounds awful. No need for it. Hope you feel better soon.

Kerrin, you are so busy. Bet you can’t wait for a day at home tomorrow. Make sure you get some rest. Not too long till your MRI. Hope school are ok with you having time off. It can’t be helped. Oh I do hope your parents will be safe. That fire sounds too close for comfort. There are often fires a few miles from where my daughter lives in Australia so it worries me. Is that a whole tree which has come down? It was lucky there was no-one about.

My GS did get home ok and was back at school yesterday as if nothing had happened. His cast is from his wrist up past his elbow. We apparently got a month’s rain in 2 days. I went to bed last night, just settling down to read a chapter of my book when I heard ‘drip’. I sat up and listened. Nothing. A few minutes later – ‘drip’. I decided it was just the rain on the windowsill. A few minutes after that, another ‘drip’. Got out of bed and checked over near the window and found some drops of water on the ceiling. Pulled a towel out to put on the carpet and got back in to bed. Got back up again and got a bucket to put on top of the towel. Nothing else I could do at 11pm. Anyway, this morning, there was only a teaspoonful of water in the bucket and the ceiling was dry. Went in the loft and couldn’t find any damp. Some more rain today and howling winds. Fortunately, it calmed down this afternoon when I went to see the vampires. Took a whole pint of blood, my 51st. At least I got a cup of tea in exchange for it.

Nice steady gentle rain, no more howling gales.

I had a sneaking suspicion that you would be posting Barbara :) I was right.
It was a mess everywhere, our car looked like it had been camouflaged with leaves and little twigs.
We did settle down with the tennis today, from start to finish, perfect. In between lots of pottering.

No, no pics of me as Frankenfurter, that would scare the animals in the zoo, not to mention everyone else  :lol:

I am sure that Toni will sort out your eyeliner - there are still no friends apart from three of us, where did they all go :? :?

Oh dear, not good to hear that your leg is not good and back is more than likely the cause, sorry, I am playing Dr and I am only a nurse. I just know that the damage in my spine causes such problems with my legs  I hope your new mattress (when it finally arrives) will ease things when you are resting.
We tend to think that everything is nicely in alignment when we are in bed, but, for the most part we are not. I know that different mattresses will help and bolster cushions, to bring one leg level. It can be a real issue and no wonder we wake up and feel more shattered and in pain then when we went to bed.

Leaving some hugs and some lavender pats and cuddles from the Bush babies.

Hi there Carol oh yes, there are always cakes left, the more we eat, the more appear, it is just blissful :)
Glad you enjoyed you wander around the zoo, I think all the animals are nicely settled in - even the grumpy warthogs are more amiable, but they would cover us in mud if we went in for a fuss. :?
Glad you enjoyed your chatting, sorry, knitting group. Chatting is fine, a teddy bear too, that will make a change. I wonder who will get the teddy? Let me guess.......

Do keep safe, as you say you are not in central London. We all need to be vigilant, I must admit I am unsettled, along with most of the nation I am sure.

We live in a very rural area, but, nowhere is immune, sad to say. I don't know why people have to bear such hatred and horrors on others.

don't you get stuck in a chair shape, that will be you, me and Barbara........... :? :o:lol: all in a row.

Hi Kerrin I bet you are more than glad to have a work from home day today, after bloods etc. Two trips on one day would be too much for most of us I am sure.

I am sorry to hear about the wild fires in South Africa, running through the town, how terrible. I hope that your Parents are safe and they can bring the fires under control as soon as possible. ((()))
Ouch, the poor tree, lucky that no one was hurt, they can do so much damage when they fall.
Sleep well, I am sure you will.

Hi to Christine - you found me on FB :)
Hi to Elizabeth, Mig DD and all.

Pepe said that Miss Sleek looked more preened when they Skyped earlier. I think they did a mini broomstick theory lesson. She has reminded him about the toxic sachets of food, so he is flatly refusing them at the moment.

Dr Doolittle is on duty tonight, he has been chatting with the Giraffes, who where very happy with their large enclosure. Apparently the warthogs are quite protective of them and vice versa, so all are happy.
Most of our lovelies are asleep in their beds, Blush and the Bush Babies are active, up in the trees, eating leaves and fruit.
There is a lot of chatter coming from the Merrkats burrows, they never stop.:lol:

I had better move. Pepe has the gel cushion and I am uncomfortable. Typical, not that they are pampered.

Everyone take lots of care and stay safe. We will see what today brings, an important day for us all. XXX Aidan

    Good morning everyone :)

Raining here. Lucy is finally going for a blood test today,(LFTs) - well she'd better ;) So that she can start her terbafine for her toenails (caused by chemo). Then we shall both vote. Choir at school today not at the community centre so we won't get locked in I hope :)

Yes Aidan Miss Sleek had done a lot of preening before skyping yesterday, (while Lucy was having her last physio session - now doing sort of but not quite...press-ups), she looked lovely, extra sleek. Maybe she took some of Lucy's blusher again?

She really does like your Pepe!!

Sorry about the dates on the sachets  apparently he can forget and 'needs' reminding.

She is picking up her broomstick today, but might stay in due to the rain and wind again.

Yesterday I managed a little village weeding, but not today ::) Too wet out there.

I bet yesterday's work is now invisible. Well I didn't do much just under the noticeboard where the children's pictures are :)

I have the day off filling the warthogs mud-pit that's always good they do splash as Carol said!

Who's on in the ward tonight? Just incase anyone needs a comfy bed with nerve pain from backs.....I think they meet up with the zookeepers for a cuppa and cake at night. :D

The bamboo is growing s well now Blush will be sorted for life.

Christine I knew you'd get soaked  you need spare clothes at work don't you, but yes we have to remain soaked in supermarkets.

So you can only see mutual friends then? Now that is interesting. Charley has had to two-bob-bits so not been over yet to look at my settings for me.

I sincerely hope you don't have a leak in your roof  It might have been through those holes they leave....and the direction of the rain. Fingers crossed.

51st pint eh? Again I must thank you ((())) on behalf of all those who need it just now.

Kerrin how dreadful you must have a gut wrenching feeling about the bush fire :( ((()))

I am very glad you will be home today to work and rest a bit. You can get up at 5 to 9 and stay in your PJs all day....until fiancée gets home

    Poor tree :(

Carol there is always plenty of cake for you and a cuppa you know that. c085.gif and the clotted cream is in here :)

It was cooler here yesterday, but dry today it's raining so keep your distance from the warthogs they are as happy as pigs in....

My Mum used to knit our toys. I had two cats (that's how I fell in love with them) and grey elephant :) Chatting will have done you good.

Both of my girls loved their pretty dresses too. Lucy still does, but not so Charley. They are adorable aren't they when they're little...sigh.

I'm glad you are keeping safe and out of town for now. Safety first :)

Those bush babies are proving very popular for cuddles. The baby sloths are sweet too and clingy.

Barbara when you're young the 'bad lads' do appeal, but luckily we grow up and mostly are happy with the nicer ones ;)

It seems you can only see mutual friends. Hopefully Charley will help me out today or tomorrow. I have missed her while she's been unwell. Luckily her GF only had it for a day.

I hope you're right about the leg pain. I have it almost constantly I think it's a nerve or that bursitis playing up. Won't it be great if the new mattress, when it arrives, sorts it out!!

Of course we'll all come with you to the gig. Would love to :)

Hi to Joan who should be posting soon. Do you think we can see the article in the paper online Joan?

    Love to everyone

I shall look forward to the pub lunch Barbara. :D

Aidan. photos of you as Frankenfurter probably wouldn't scare the animals any more than my snoring did.

Kerrin, the tree falling must have given you quite a shock.

I used to love knitting before RA. Mum taught me when I was 4. All my kids had hand knitsI was eally upset when I had to give up.

I've posted a photoof Emily wearing one of my creations.

Aw Kath Emily was an adorable baby and her outfit is very impressive :)

We were taught to knit too as kids I am so sorry you can't knit now though :(

I couldn't get Lucy up Barbara in time for bloods as she was disturbed by Diddicat and a fur ball in the wee small hours

    We'll try again tomorrow.

I think we'll be ok at choir tonight being at school. The neighbours who were with me live in 'school house. so you know how close we are :)

Have you managed all the feeds? I don't mind giving you a hand?

Joan I think the boiler man is teasing you. He's probably had enough of it too

Aidan Miss Slimkins said to me that she and Pepe 'touched whiskers' the other day  and she's voted this morning in the cat-lection.

    Must get on anyway

    Love

Afternoon to one and all, from rain, to sun, to rain........changeable I think they call it :)

Hi Toni, I hope Lucy went for her LFTs testing, prior to voting :)

Keep a look out for an escape route at the school, just in case they decide to lock you in again !

I think Miss Sleek had a little blusher on, Pepe said she was pink round the gills :? I said you cannot say that about a lady puskins. She is rather sweet on him, I do agree. I think they had been on skype, he had been carpet gliding all over the lounge, to impress Miss Diddicat. There was a LOT of fur in evidence when we arrived home.

It is a bit windy for travelling at the moment, I think it will be a wet ish week end too.

No, don't remind him about the sachets, yes, he does forget, (thank goodness), I might have to use permanent marker on them   Even one of the ladies at the vets said they had never known a more fussy puskins. I said it would be cheaper to go to the supermarket and buy fresh roast chicken every day  That's £80 she said..............faint.

No, weeding in the pouring rain is not my idea of fun, I am sure your diligence is not wasted though.

There is plenty of water in the warthogs mud bath, I think Carol filled it to the brim yesterday.

Charlie and Duffy are on duty in the ward, so we are well catered for, should we all need a little nursing care.
Yes, they all meet up on their breaks, for tea and cakes during the night and daytime too. Johnny is on duty in the zoo, he can talk to the animals as well :)

Blush will be more than happy. I had missed the sloths, they are so well camouflaged you hardly see them in the branches. They are pretty chilled out.

I must have missed Christine's post, leaking roof, blood donating, 51 pints, wow, way to go. Very much appreciated. Sorry Christine.

Hope Charlie and her GF are feeling better asap. Not nice, hope it's short lived bugs. We don't like bugs.

I think we all need new mattresses, we are thinking about it, although ours are not old by any means.

Hi Joan What on earth is the boiler man talking about, you are facing the wrong way to get the sun, never mind the sun, you want the boiler to work, leave the sun to Mother Nature and the Universe. I will tell him grrrrrrrrrr ask him to put the boiler in upside down and it might work.:lol:
I would call them every day to come out, call them about the bungalow facing the wrong way, according to the boiler man, see what they say

Hi Barbara Yes, we are watching the tennis, well, it is on in the background and I can hear it and keep peeping, in between pottering.
Well, I usually have one leg that gives way without warning, so I can only say yes, as far as I am aware it is normal. I often try and support the leading leg in bed, otherwise it pulls everything out of line.
An experienced nurse knows just as much as most junior Doctors and often more. We never liked January and August when the new ones started on the wards. We taught them an awful lot I can tell you and covered their backs when the Consultants where in foul moods.

There are a million setting on FB now, all for our safety and protection, that is if you can understand them all, lol.

I have definitely missed Christines post - typical me, I will write again later.

Hi Kath I might, I say might, put a picture on at some point :)

The picture is lovely, showing off your knitting skills with Emily. Bless :)

We did our voting, it was quite busy at out little village hall, most I have seen in a long time.
Then to the GC for coffee and scones, then I was very hot and was leaking.
Wandered outside and bought a black eyed susan, for the decking outside the back door. I love them, so delicate.
Did a mountain of shopping.............even the lady on the till said you are stocking up today boys - BOYS - ok, I will take that lol.
Paid the gas and electric, home, unpacked, lunch, washing, drying, now it is nearly 5pm.

Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, I hope you are resting up, Carol, Elizabeth, Charrisse, Mig DD and all.

Will catch you later, in the meantime, take lots of care and stay safe. XXXX Aidan HD-1000x665

Afternoon all .. or should that be evening ... enjoyed reading through all your posts.
I go to a knitting group on a Monday afternoon when I can make it that is .. we have quite a good turnout and like you Carol lots of nattering but in fairness they all do an amazing amount of knitting at home and absolutely mounds of items are handed in every week and the most of it is for charity. Unfortunately I can often stay for a short time if my back is really bad but as this is the only time I get to socialise I do try to make it.
It must be awful not having any electricity .. brings back memories of the time we used to have power cuts .. so you couldn't watch TV but think about making a cuppa or doing the ironing :D
Do hope you don't get any more trouble with it Aiden.
All the best with the MRI Kerrin..

Love to everyone I've not mentioned :sun:
