Evening to one and all -

Well, the nap was a waste of time  I guess I rested the bones a while, but sleep, not a hope. Anyway, not to worry.

Hi Barbara, I bet you were on the edge of your seat with the Nadal Muller match, it was a real cliff hanger. Muller's colour did drain, the shock of it all. I am sure Nadal will be back, I don't think he is ready to hand up his racket just yet.

Of course you are welcome to the key says Pepe and Miss Sleek, the garden changes to whatever you wish it to be and you can never find yourself lost, whichever way you walk, you will always come to the door. :) (Oh I should write a book).:lol:

I read that you are safely in residence in Scarborough. Glad you arrived ok, despite the pouring rain. Is their life in the lift

I think the weather is going to be better for a few days now, well, it is here, I will look at Scarborough.............According to the BBC, some light rain on Thursday, otherwise fine :)

Crab, not had that in donkeys years. Real chips, seaside chips, the BEST, as long as the seagulls don't pinch them, they are naughty.

Enjoy everything and take care XXX

Hi Joan, good to hear that you have been out every day. It has been very wet, but the garden needed the rain. Have you heard any more about the heating / radiators? It seems to have gone quiet.

Hi Kath You are quite right, the secret garden changes, with a little bit of magic. You had some heavy rain too. The sun is out though in the other garden, I think it only rains when no one is about. Pepe and Miss Sleek and Jericat have been in there today, Pepe has been practicing mouse catching, but is not having much luck, bless

They have been off elsewhere too, I see that the teleport button was pressed, so not sure if they went to France or Australia, Pepe is keeping very tight lipped about it. He said it was hot, so, it could have been either, or even both  Miss Sleek will have wanted to check on Mummy and family

It is sad that your Dads friend is developing memory issues. My late Mum had Alzheimers. She had totally forgotten about Dad, never asked about him, never remembered that he had passed.

That is a good name Kath, I will pass that on, B has been very busy with making some lovely bracelets, he is getting a lot quicker now.
I will remember poemsgalore, lovely name :) That is not a forum I have been on.

I spent quite a few months in New York, it was fabulous, an amazing place to visit, crazy, never sleeps, hustle and bustle, yellow cabs everywhere, so much to see and do. I would go back there, if I didn't have to fly - or go on a cruise ship for that matter.

I hope your prescription arrives, you needs those patches, we don't want any ouches, good vibrations on the way, with lavender pats and hugs from the Bush babies.

We went to Hobbycraft today and B loaded up with loads of beads and sparkling things, for his jewellery. They don't sell gem stones, but the beads etc, for fashion jewellery is ideal. Then we nipped into Costa, just had to have a mushroom and cheese toasty and a lemon muffin, well, it was rude not to. Then popped into Mark's, had a nosey, didn't really buy much. A few bits in the food hall.

Off to the Dentist today, hygienist for both of us and then Dentist for me, check up..........No doubt we will end up in Nero's, more coffee..........no wonder I never sleep :lol: :?

All the lovelies are fine in our animal world. Dr Doolittle said that all the animals are talking very highly about their care and food etc. Johnny is on tonight, with a locum vet and a lovely part time keeper. It is fairly quiet, only the owls are hooting, I think they are happy with the voles and meeces from Miss Sleek and Jericat. Sadly Pepe has yet to learn the art of being a cat and hunting.

I hope everyone else is ok, Toni, Christine, Kerrin, Charrisse, Elizabeth, thinking of you all.

Better move, time to potter a while. I will love you and leave you. Take care everyone. XXX Aidan

It's a fed up kind of day. I did get my prescription yesterday thank goodness, so I could change my patches. Still a bit ouchy though. But the DN didn't come this morning for my blood test. :o Rang him, he's coming tomorrow. But he should have rung me to tell me that, surely? :? Now I've just spent an hour and a half sorting out problems with my laptop.

Sorry your nap was a waste of time Aidan, I'm sure Pepe will succeed in catching a mouse eventually, especially with Miss Sleek and Jericat urging him on. Love the Owls. :D

Barbara, I went to Scarborough as a child, it rained all day. I think Mavis is happy enough. She and dad go to the Community Centre together. It's only around the corner.

    Welcome home Toni.

welcome home Toni, glad you are home safe and sound, very kind of Miss Sleek to welcome you, I know they have been skyping while we have been out.
Short post as next door is coming round for some help writing a letter of complaint...............no he's not, just cancelled, has cough lurgy, so he is barred, lol. No lurgy bugs allowed thank you

Hi Kath, sending anti ouch vibes to you...................

Been to the dentist, both sen hygienist and I saw dentist as well, many ££££ later (faint) had to be carried to Nero's to have coffee and sustenance. They have changed their chocolate gateaux and it is horrid, so the lovely staff who we know well, swapped it for carrot cake. I will write to Nero's and tell them to go back to the choc fudge cake, not the new one that is made from memory foam !!

    Evening all

how has the weather been in your area. Here yesterday was a day of sun. cloud and short heavy showers but managed to skip the showers whilst out by popping into the shops and not getting wet byt at least it wasn't cold. Today started cloudy and cooler but again not cold and this afternoon brightened up with sunny intervals.

Aiden yes must ask miss Slimkins and Pepe if they know of a secret place where these the lost days go. perhaps they could magic them back for us. I enjoyed Speedway as always. oops I meant uninvited guest but he seems to have disappeared now. I would like a magic key to the secret garden so perhaps those pusskins can sort that out for me. Times with mum were difficult and after peace was made I only had just about a week visiting her when she went downhill and we was told by the dr at the hospital she was in that the medication was not working and she was slipping away this was about 4pm on the Sunday and she passed away around 6.30am on the Monday. thanks for the breakfast at sea, will be having more of those very soon. pictures will probably go on facebook when we come back. Glad you enjoyed Brunch.

Joan Hope they find homes for all the puppies. we had heavy but quick showers yesterday for the first time in a long while.

    night night all
    Stay positive always👍xx

Evening to all, quite warm today, although it has gone quite chilly out, are we feeling a hint of autumn, no surely not..............

We managed to have a nap, much needed after going from one dentist chair to another, via the big tub chairs in reception, that I can hardly get out of   Teeth duly cleaned, poked prodded, probed...............Dentist, who I have not met before, (she shares the practice with our usual dentist, who was at the other surgery). She was lovely, such a laugh, but good at her job. I might change my mind if she has to give injections, they are always a test of a person's skill set.

Anyway, I digress. Coffee, toasty, and carrot cake was lovely, to revive us from the dentists. Then it was straight home.

Sorry you have had a fed up day Kath, we can all sympathise with you for sure. They are horrid. Glad the patches came and you can keep up with the pain control, along with positive vibes, lavender pats and bush baby hugs.

It isn't the first time that the District Nurse has let you down, regarding blood tests. Yes, they should really let you know, it is a quick phone call. I know they carry a large work load, but we would have been hauled over the coals for not keeping a patient informed. Times change.
Hopefully he turns up today and does his vampire duties. Tell him Matron is not impressed

Then having issues with the laptop, it never rains lest it pours. I hope it is sorted now.

Pepe is still in Mouse training - it could be a long process  they are trying a clockwork mouse at the moment, in the secret garden. If it pops out of the bushes, I know he will faint.

Nice that Dad and Mavis go to the Community Center together, bless them both.

Still no word from the housing association Joan, aren't they just a pain. Hopefully the heating will be sorted before winter, or Miss Sleek and Pepe will have to cast a spell on the boiler to keep it going and radiators doing what they are supposed to do.

Hi Carol It has been a fairly good day, no rain, some clouds and some sunshine, pleasant temperatures.

Glad you managed to dodge the rain showers, popping in and out of shops :D

I think the lost days are all in the secret garden, time passes so slowly in there, always plenty of it. Of course, you already have a key, just pop over to Kath's and go to the gate, it will open for you and there it is, the garden of your dreams.

How sad that Mum passed away so soon. I know circumstances had been difficult, but peace was made and that was good. My mum passed within 5 days of her last admission to hospital. I knew that she was not going to come through, she had pneumonia and sepsis and would not respond to treatment. Life has so many trials and tribulations.

Looking forward to the pictures on FB when you are aboard ship. No problems, I thought you might enjoy the breakfast at sea :)

I am sure Toni is catching up and will need some rest.
Christine, I am not sure when you are home?
Barbara will be down on the beach, paddling in sunny Scarborough
Kerrin, hope this week is not too hectic for you.
Hi also to Charrisse, Elizabeth, Mig and all

Off for coffee with Mum n Dad this morning, not seen them for a couple of days. I will have had enough coffee by the end of this week.

B is busy away with his jewellery, making his own designs, looking lovely. There is a fair in October in the village, so I think he will set up shop for the day and see how things go. I bet everything sells out.

Right, I will have a word with Pepe, see what Miss Sleek and jericat have been up to, I think they have been group skyping, seeing if jericat can carpet glide.

Just been to the animal sanctuary and all the lovelies are doing just fine. Blush is so happy with all the bamboo, there is no sight of her, just a lot of rustling :D

Take care all. N Night XXX Aidan

To think I thought it would be a while before I had another croissant!

    Thanks Aidan :)

I am busy uploading photos of the bamboo walk at the bottom of the garden at the French house. Diddicat has 'magic'd'(serious sp???anyone?? ) us a load over for Blush :)

It's lovely to be home isn't it always :D Miss Slimkins has clearly been very busy - not a vole/mouse in sight must have caught them in her net and taken them to the zoo.

How right you are to complain about the new cake  horrifying!!!

Temporary dentist was lovely and no need for injections? Sounds a perfect visit to me

I am advised that Jericat, and Tomcat too, have very good gliding skills leaving plenty of fur behind and enraptured people behind them

The cats do indeed have a key to the secret garden Carol, but will happily bob you over to Kath's anytime just close your eyes... :D Missing days are there, but time is forever there, but when you step out only seconds have passed (ask Aidan I'm right!!)

I'm glad you loved the speedway of course you did :)

Hi Kath Thank you for letting me into the secret garden last night. It was lovely so relaxing. I expect you know the cats meet there sometimes to touch whiskers?

Sounds a frustrating day no DN to t/c  :x

Why don't they give us an extra month's supply of our meds so we are ahead? I've always wondered this

Joan apparently it really chucked it down here on Wednesday which was great for me - no watering to do

Barbara I hope you are having a great time :) No aeroplanes for you :D A holiday anywhere is good in my opinion. The first day in France was cloudy.....26 degrees, but cloudy.

Off to walk off some of this

Actually it was all healthy apart from all the creme brulées I ate

I don't eat meat and said so and this is what the lovely chef came back with - "superb!"

Afternoon all, nice day, quite warm, but a lovely breeze, which is very welcome as I am wanting the drying done and dusted.

Well, the pictures are fantastic Toni, PINKIES, I love it, smiling from ear to ear :)

The bamboo walk is fabulous, the builders wife, who was French, they had a bamboo garden and she used to pick the tender young shoots and use the gel / sap as a sure fire aid to fighting wrinkles, she swore by it and it seemed to work.

The Chef did very good, I want I want...................sorry, that's rude, I need, I need.

The crickets are big aren't they, so noisy too, night time is a whole new world in France, in the summer.

Glad you had a lovely time and you seem to have brought some fine weather back with you. Not too hot mind. AC always at the ready, just in case I go into meltdown.

Oh the puskins have been having a great time, what with the secret garden, for everyone to use, Pepe almost on the verge of catching a vole, I think they are best, as they are the smallest, anything bigger and we know what would happen   :?

We could ask Miss Sleek to lend him her net, that way he would not have to touch anything that might make him faint. Worth a try.

their magic seems to be ok now, they are getting the hang of things, no more sprouts and turnips appearing, instead of cat mint.:lol:

Gliding, yes, mass puskins gliding, much to everyone's delight, as you say.

Indeed, the time in the garden, bears no resemblance to time outside, you can be in there all day and only 5 minutes have passed when you come out, it is totally magic and delightful. A special place for us all to take time out.

Creme Brulee's are fine, no calories in them, not that I know of anyway. :)

I am sure Barbara will be along to let us know how the trip to Scarborough is going, very well I trust.

Not heard from Christine for a little while, all was ok last time she wrote from Melbourne. I am sure she might be on her way home by now........has two weeks gone by already?

Hi to Joan, Carol, Kerrin, Charrisse, Elizabeth, Mig and all.

We went to the GC for coffee, the usual lady who makes the best coffee is away in Crete, so I had to ask for extra shots to bring my coffee up to par. Scones were wonderful. Mum n Dad are doing ok, Mum is eating a little better, Dad is driving us batty, but that's nothing new lol.

From there it was a trip into the vets, more food for his highness. Then Sainsb., then Drs to pick up the rest of my repeat, which is now bursting out of the cupboard. I think I must have over ordered, it is like a pharmacy, so if anyone is short of supplies, just shout out, I am sure I will have it.

Right, bed to sort, dear puskins, hairball  I can never keep anything on my bed for more than a day or so. Bless them. It must be the most changed bed in Lancashire.:lol:

I am sure it is time for T, Barbara will be along for a cake soon.

Till later, take care XXXX Aidan

Just sat down and Aidan has brought me another af'noon tea! :)

    Lovely!

Pepe will catch his vole of course Miss Sleek will share her net. You know she'll share anything with her beloved Pepe :D Ahhh!!!

She assures me he is so close to snaring his first and sort of did catch one in her net earlier, but it scared him so much he dropped it before it went in the sack

I did bring sun back and hauled the breeze in off the sea too. How long it will last I don't know. Aircon is on standby here too.

WRINKLE juice??   I wish I had known. You don't see many wrinkly Pandas do you?

France is a special place I agree and how lovely was the chef to knock me up such a spread all to myself :) Paul was most covetous :D hah!!

I am pretty sure crème brulées are devoid of calories too :? pretty sure.....

Oh dear a fur-ball eh  bless...

Good to hear Mum is still doing well and Dad on par being his usual self  Well-done getting the coffee improved and up to standard.

    Choir practise for me tonight.

Hopefully not too late I am still shattered :animal_busy: :animal_busy: :animal_busy:

Evening to everyone. Just been to back door and it is pouring with rain, hoorah, the garden needs it, even though B did water everything today

It is VERY warm, a little bit wilted, but doing ok. Cooler tomorrow I think.

Anyway, that's the forecast for the next 24 hours :lol::lol: Enough already Aidan.

I am sure Miss Sleek will share with her Hero, bless them, they have touched whiskers a few times over the past few days, especially with Pepe in vole training.

Typical that he let one escape from the net, he is a little squeamish to say the least

He has been out messing with the SKY dish, I think Miss Sleek will have been doing the same, apparently they have to update the software on their broomsticks, directly from Hogwarts. Not sure if it will instill more magic, we will see.

Pepe was talking to Miss Slimkins over the broom intercom, a lot of chirrups and purring. :?

No, definitely no wrinkles on Pandas. When we went over to their house, I was always straight out into the garden for some fresh young shoots, slathering the sap on.

Thank you for bringing the breeze home, it has been very welcome today. Wise to have the AC on standby.

The feast looked truly delicious, enviable indeed.

How was choir practice? I guess it was a little quiet without the whistling from Barbara  Are you still singing sitting on the dock of the bay...........
How is Rev Delphine, well I trust. My regards..........

I am sure you are shattered and need to catch up on some rest. Promise -- pop into the secret garden, you should see the wisteria's, festooned in flowers. As Wilhemena will be very soon.

Hi Barbara - you will be home by the time you read this. Sitting by the sea, wonderful, it has a magical quality and commands great respect at the same time.
Glad the weather has been favourable. Oh, you could move there, there will be park homes, without a doubt..........sorted, Barbara is off to Scarborough.............. :D:D
I remember the Spa theatre that is where we saw the Krankies, yes, I recall the bandstand too. How cool, listening to the resident band 8)

Have a safe journey home. x Joan was asking about your sinuses, are yours any better by the sea, people often find that the ozone helps a lot.

Hi Joan, good to hear that the pups have homes :) Mum n Dad are doing ok, we were out with them for our coffee and scones. Mum seems a little brighter in herself. Some things had been bothering her, but that has been sorted with the help of the GP.

Wimbledon - gosh, the weather has been really good this year. It has been full of drama, Nadal out, Murray out, Novak out, Johanna out, I think the door is open for Roger to take the title one more time and Venus as well. We will see, over the next couple of days. It has been edge of the seat matches...........

I hope you are both ok and the doggies too. How is your foot feeling, quite a bit stronger I am sure. Not too long until that boot can be thrown out the window :)

All the lovelies in our animal sanctuary are fine, the Alpaca's and Llama's have been shawn, sheared, trimmed ? :? one of them - lots of knitting has not commenced. There was a little bit of spitting, but Dr Doolittle soon calmed them down.

The Okapi's and Tapir's are having a late night swim, they do like to keep clean and fresh :) Unlike the warthogs who like being as mucky as possible.

Blush is still in the bamboo, that Toni sent back, via Miss Sleek's magic.
The Sloths and the Bush babies are happily feeding, the like it at night when it is cooler.
The owls are hooting away, having dined on many voles.
The Giraffes are happy, munching on their hay and pellets.
Meerkats are all in their burrows, rather quiet tonight, they have been busy digging more tunnels during the day.
Seals are resting, after a day in the lake.
Little piggie, lambs, calf and Mum, Marigold, Yack, Cuddles, are all asleep.
who did I miss...........The super Vet is on tonight. We are well looked after.

Well, I had better do a little pottering, I am setting like a stone. The bones are a wee bit shouty

Kath, I hope you are feeling less hurty, sending lots more Bush Baby hugs.
Kerrin, Christine, Carol, Mig, Charrisse, Elizabeth, and all, sending hugs far and wide.

N Night all, take great care.

Ah.....waffles for breakfast :) Lovely thanks Aidan. Lovely quote that....through mouthful of waffle....thanks!

I gave miss sleek an idea to help Pepe out with his 'slight' nervousness around rodents. A net with s self-shutting lid like those sp***r catchers, but he can't see through the lid.

The software is uploaded, but apparently took some doing  She ended up phoning Hogwarts. Miss Sleek is looking into maybe a way of watering gardens for us. The secret garden is self-watering anyway so she thinks it can be done.

It's adorable isn't it hearing them chirruping on their broomsticks :)s020.gif

I just had a walk around the zoo. I have left the roof on the meerkat's area I had too it's too chilly for them bless them today, but much better for us. Spoke to Supervet who is going to come with James and do teeth one day next week.

That bamboo ought to last them indefinitely I think the bamboo from France will keep on coming

Guess what? Choir practise was cancelled :? too many had phoned to say they were away  Probably Barbara was one of them

The Rev Delphine looks well, (only to wave to walking her doggie), I shall pass on your regards.

I went into the secret garden last night via Kath's (think maybe she was snoring???) and wow!! The wisteria!!! Fabulous isn't it? I sat down under some and just...stared! It's so lovely. Must have been there an hour or two, but when I can out it had only been minutes :)

Joan it is good to be home too as well as to go away :) I am glad the pups all have good homes :running_dog: That's the main thing. Hello to you too :D

I collected our prescriptions from the chemist (well-known and not my usual) as I was there anyway and....they gave me one of Lucy's meds wrong. I know! Could have been dangerous  What if I was blind and couldn't see the different colour? It's all this business of letting amateurs dispense with just an NVQ.

A complaint has to be made.

Not good as they have my address and the girl who did it looked a bit scary. :?

    Love to all

Oh yum, waffles with fruit and ice cream. I've had two servings - well it would be rude not to, to quote matron. MTX day, and I'm feeling much less ouchy, what with hugs, lavender pats and Bush Baby cuddles, what more could a girl (? ) wish for? Chris was very glad we have separate beds, mine was full of Bush Babies last night (they hid in my pockets again, but boy, do they snore. It must have been them you heard Toni, or was it Barbara?

The DN came yesterday to do my bloods. His car broke down on Wednesday, so I've forgiven him. Can't you tell I'm a Fridays child. :)

Toni, WRONG MEDS? Unbelievable. That could have been scary.

Joan, I'm pleased the pups all have good homes. :D

Afternoon all, I thought I had better write, with one eye on the men's semi finals.............roger and thomas up next, so will be glued to that. Looks like Cilic might be going through...........

Hi Joan, hope you are ok. Yes, Mum does not really complain about anything, but matron manages to delve with my questions and can tell if there is something amiss.

Hope you are having a good week end. Love to both

Enjoy the waffles, they do look good don't they Toni.

That would be ideal, a self closing net, yes, like the ones for catching spi----s. At the moment he is fast asleep, but I am sure Miss Sleek will catch up later.
I am sure Hogwarts had the answer, if the cannot solve it, then no one can :lol: I am assuming their broomsticks are more empowered now, Pepe's is in the cupboard, fizzing away and sparkling.

A watering system powered by magic, would be ideal, I am sure Miss Sleek will give it a go, mind you don't all get wet  :?
As you say, the secret garden is self watering, a perfect temperature, light breeze. I am glad you loved the wisteria's, I was in there too, under an arbor of them, it was amazing. I was in there for two hours and came out and one minute had gone by
So choir practice was cancelled, so no singing and no whistling from Barbara, she was very busy at the bandstand in Scarborough though.

Glad Rev Delphine was ok waving, whilst walking her doggy.

The meerkats will be happier with the roof closed, there is a brisk wind today. Was it me, or was it SO warm and humid last night. We were melting. Much better today. Good that the vet is going to keep an eye on tooth care. Good luck with the Alpaca's

Fancy them getting the prescription wrong, I thought all presc had to be checked by two people, one of whom has to be a Dispensing Pharmacist. I know human error does occur, but someone who did not realise, could easily take a dose that is much to high for them.

Definitely complain and mention your natural concern. A scary person doing the prescription, she needs a wake up then. She might loose that demeanor then.
It has happened once to me, one of my heart meds, I think it was 4 times the strength I took at the time. I spotted it as soon as, thought, that is not 10mg, that is 40mg. Dangerous. They were very apologetic.

Not sure if it is a but windy for broomsticks over here, they like to go up to the top of Pendle and it will be blowing a gale up there. Maybe they will just chirrup over their broomsticks, while we are napping.

Hi Kath, glad you are feeling less ouchy, the mtx will help for sure. Eat as many waffles as you like Kath, they are very low calorie ones, almost zero I think.
Ah, all the bush babies came to snuggle, how cute is that :) B is glad we are in separate rooms, let alone beds, I snore like a wilderbeast and all the cats are in with me. B likes to get some sleep, whereas I can survive on very little.
They snore too, bless them, so does our siamese, she really gives it some noise.

We will let the DN off this time, cannot do much about a broken down car. Of course you are loving and giving, being a Friday child. :)

Right, I had better put some cakes out, Barbara will be looking for when she gets home. In need of a cup of T and something to nibble on.

Love to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Carol, Mig, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all

Will get back to the tennis..................exciting..................XXX Aidan

    Yes Kath WRONG meds!!

did you know the pharmacists don't dispense they just (allegedly) check what the NVQ assistants dispense!

Luckily it was only antibiotics they gave her. What if it had been something a blind person was allergic to? :?

Was it snoring bush-babies?! Not Barbara I would have seen her. Glad you feel a bit better today :)

Aidan self watering like some of our village pots (ok only two of them  )

Fabulous eh? The wisteria smells divine :) I could have stayed in there all day. Oh did you know you get your 10,000 steps just walking in the door?!!

I read THEIR label which obviously said the correct item, but upon opening it was a red tablet so further investigation was needed and then of course I googled for the brand name just incase. Of course I had a profound apology, but will stick to my usual small independent chemist from now on.

Diddicat is trapped in ATM as we heard gunshots out there and we want her safe so yes broomstick chirruping today bless them. Don't tell the bride is back on soon so they'll be watching that again.

    Eclairs? Ooh! Thank you :D:D

Loving the tennis today :) xxx

    Evening All

Hope you have all been enjoying the last two days. I don't get on here as we were out yesterday evening for an amateur theatre groups performance of My Fair Lady. the Director and producer being old friends from our church who moved away a while ago. it was absolutely brilliant we both enjoyed it very much we didn't het home until 11.15pm had a cup of tea and then went straight to bed. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Barbara This will be our 5th cruise they are very enjoyable. getting on and off the ship is ok and there are always staff to help you if needed . and the coaches for the trips will usually take wheelchairs and walkers in the luggage compartments. the only place I have ever had problems with my walker is in Gibraltar as the only use minibuses. we use P&O cruises.

Aidan OOh chocolate eclairs yummy. Wimbledon sure has had good weather this year. and the surprises of those who have gone out. So the Alpaca's and Llama's have been trimmed we need to get the spinning and knitting underway now then. went over to the secret garden via Kath and it was beautiful in there very relaxing. the breakfast at sea was lovely looking forward to more soon. 2 weeks tomorrow and off we go.

Toni That's scary good job you checked the Meds for Lucy. that could have been nasty.

Joan glad the puppies now all have homes.

must say night night as time has crept up on me and I need to move around a little before bed .
    Stay positive always👍xx

Well I was going to say good evening, but it is now morning, just. So a very early good morning :)

I think everyone will just love the secret garden, as long as Kath doesn't mind making us a cup of T, with us all nipping into her garden, to find the secret door.

I will pop into a Zen garden, lots of Acers and quiet pools of water. Mm, there might have to be at least one wisteria, draping into one of the pools. Oh it's good to dream.

I should think you did get a profound apology, that is the least they can do. Antibiotics at the wrong dose, can be dangerous, just as so many other drugs.
Good idea to stick to your usual chemist.

All ours are dispensed at the Surgery, you can have the prescriptions sent to one of the other pharmacies (we have 5 in Clitheroe) !! we are not a huge town. They are all within a 100 yards of each other too. Anyway, we prefer to have the surgery dispense, keeps it all in one place.

Best place to be is safely inside when there are shotguns going off. We have a clay pigeon range not far from us and it is noisy on a Sunday, when everyone goes shooting.
Pepe was catching up with Miss Slimcea, he was very late up for his supper, I think they have another form of communication, not just with the broomstick. I am sure I spotted a tiny crystal ball, but Pepe was not getting up off of his blanket to let me see. I think they were chatting to Kerrin's pus cats too.

The broom is still fizzing, in fact it came out of the cloaks cupboard on its own, I nearly jumped out of my slippers. :o

Say yes to the Dress has been on tonight, so I am sure there will be more chirruping and touching whiskers over the week end.

Those eclairs did look SO good. Face plant time :):)

Welcome home Barbara sounds like you had a wonderful time if you wanted to stay for a week. Always a good sign.

Glad the lift had a little life in it  was it rather creaky and slow?

No, I would not have gone to see Mr Clifton and his Ostrich either LOL LOL :lol: (did you see that Jane McDonald has another tour next year, coming to St Helens theatre) tempted I must say........

The washing, yes, that is one down side to coming back from a little holiday. I will help with the washing, or, we could ask the puskins to cast a spell of helpfulness so it is all done in the blink of an eye.
Cup of T, for sure, before any chores. Have a good rest.

Hi Carol So glad you had a lovely time at the Am Dram production, it is a great play / film, love My Fair Lady. How nice to catch up with friends who have moved away too. You must have been shattered by the time you got in, to fall straight to sleep.

5 cruises, how lovely, says me, with no sea legs at all. I am sure Barbara would love it, as you say, they cater for people of all abilities and look after everyone very well. You hear such a lot of bad things from the press, that this cruise or that cruise was struck down by various bugs, but they don't tell you how so many have the most wonderful time, aboard ship and waking up to new destinations. 2 weeks and counting............. :D 8) 8)

Yes, knitting will be starting in earnest, there is a lot of fleece and the Llamas and Alpaca's are refusing to come out of their house, they say it is too cold and need blankets, now they are shawn.

Glad you enjoyed the garden, did you choose any particular theme, before you went in. I know, Kath is a star, looking after us all, wandering about in her garden.

I will have to have another potter. Saying hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all. Hugs far and wide.

Take care, n night all XX Aidan

Welcome home Barbara - our cases are all unpacked clothes washed and ready for Paul to put in the basement 'loft' :) That's definitely the worst bit

I hope you had a good time and batteries recharged.

You can stay on the ship when it docks if you don't want to get off, but it's easy to disembark easier than you think. Give it a go I went once and it was so restful.

Aidan I am going to stick to our usual chemist even if he is 5 miles away. I know him he knows us and what Lucy has been through so all will be well. I think these large chemists lack the personal touch.

I would love wisteria reflected in a cool tranquil pool too. I have a feeling there will be one in the garden. :)

Miss Slimcea's broomstick was also still fizzing and now you mention it she does have a very pretty crystal ball on her collar I thought it was Lucy who put it there.

'Yes to the Dress' was on was it? They love that programme don't they? Bless them. It's raining here today so I expect Diddi will come over in her mackintosh and sou'wester when I am at Church at the book sale.

I have to cook 3lbs of bacon first though

Indoor barbecue this afternoon/evening at the top end of the village....busy life in this village.

Thank you I have had one (or two) pastries with my coffee :)

Carol I am so glad you enjoyed the performance, but I bet you were shattered that late!

I hope Mr T is behaving?

Yes always check your meds is my policy for definite.

Hello to Joan :) I hope all is well with you all. It's raining here hope it's dry for you as you have to walk the dogs :?

    Love to everyone else

I treated myself to some new shoes from Shoe Zone this morning. :D

I've arranged a covered seating area near my garden gate, There's a small fridge, a coffee machine and tea making facilities etc in there, plus snacks. So if you come by and I'm not available, you can help yourselves.
