    Hello everyone

PB should be deleted will it get rid of our photos Aidan? Obviously the originals are in my laptop but I hate to think of them out there??? (keep up the good work Bill  )

Hi To Joan, Carol, Barbara KathKerrin and Christine

I was very cross it caused my laptop to crash so I want RID!!! It was actually trying to enlarge Barbara's photo that did it.

    Elizabeth
do not worry about writing essays!! just pop in when you can.

Poor Lucy I am so sorry she has suffered so much and I totally think you did the right thing removing her.

The secret garden does indeed have an ivy covered door and is walled :)

Today has been an ok day quiet...we went to a lovely exhibition of a friend of Pom's and LOVED her work.

Then lunch at M&S and a couple of hours gardening.

Miss Slimkins has been showing everyone her photo of Pepe even Paul

She is after a frame for it. Heart-shaped she said.

They had a conference call this afternoon with Jericat and Tomcat :D

    Love to everyone

No, they cannot close the Garden Center Barbara - that is terrible.

We will all be swamped with new housing, they are building everywhere at the moment, around you, around Clitheroe, around Christine's area...........then you read that the housing market is about to go bang and hardly anyone will be able to get a mortgage.
No wonder you are fuming. We used to go to a smaller GC on the other side of town, that closed and the land was sold for housing, some of which was "affordable". What is affordable to one, is a fortune to another............
Have we to get the bus out and go see the PM

Yes, Mum and Dad are very close by, they never intrude at all, go about their trips out, shopping etc. Then we meet up or pick them up and go for coffee and scones, as we will do this morning.

I will let you know where and when the show is :) B is very busy, as the next fayre after the one in September is on the 1st October  what happens if nearly everything sells out, he will be on peace work. :o three weeks in between. Could be interesting. A shame I cannot help out, I am all thumbs now, everything would go flying.

Google pics are just fine, as long as your phone is set to back up to google, I can always do a little walk through, I think :? All you need is a google account, email etc. Then Bob's your Uncle. There is also Dropbox, which is free.

The cakes looked very good, hope you enjoyed.

hi there Toni, I hope you are a little more calm now. I can totally sympathise with the frustration of the photo b site.

I went through and deleted all my photo's, then went into account and at the bottom it says "delete my account", then follow the on screen box.
I think it gives you 48 hours to change your mind, just in case you made a mistake.
It is a secure server, so any pictures that they store, are not open to public viewing.

Bill is working away as I type. Lots of lovely items, more necklaces are going to be done next.

A quiet day is good, not that we seem to have too many of them :?
The exhibition sounds lovely with Wisteria Pom's friend. Paintings? Photo's?

Lunch at Mark's, very nice too. We like to lunch 8) 8) Then a potter in the garden.

Pepe is made up that Miss Sleek likes his photo, bless, she wants to frame it, she is a love.
I thought there was a lot of chirruping and chattering, no wonder if there were 4 of them on the conference call.

We seem to have had the right number of hours in the day today, which has been good, we even had time to pop to Tesco's for a few bits, well, we had nearly run out of cigs and that brought on a cold sweat.
Next door popped round, her and he fiance' are getting married, in 12 weeks  and we are guests of honour as we are close friends. I will need a new hat.

That was a bit of a surprise, but a very nice one. She also had a ciggy, as she has given up :? :?

Today we are off for our regular trip to the GC, I will get a pictures of the new scones. Woe betide if they are smaller than last week.
Then it is podiatry after lunch
Tuesday we are meeting some old friends who moved to Wales a good few years back, they are back in this neck of the woods to visit family and said, shall we meet up - yes, indeedy. Lunch, of course.

Enjoyed watching the World Diving Championships, Tom Daley won a Silver for the mixed syncro and then Gold for the 10 meter board.

Tennis starts again today, from Hamburg, then off to the USA at the end of the week, Atlanta I think. It's all go. Building up to the US Open in New York.

It has gone really windy out, B has already been out to pick up various plants that have blown over  Now they are all over again.........

All the lovelies are just fine, I think I saw the Bush Babies, Kath must have run out of Jammie Dodgers. They will be off to see Carol to see if she has any sweet treats.

Well, I am back after a little potter. I had best be making a move before I loose the post.

Hi to everyone else, Christine, Kath, Charrisse, Mig, Carol, Kerrin Elizabeth (sorry if it's a long post hun, just skip over it lol).

Take care all. XXXX Aidan N Night

Barbara had better keep an eye out for Pepe and Miss Sleek - they are going to Lytham tomorrow. Mind you they often do the sunrise so probably a bit early. :?

Barbara you have a lovely time good business OH was in eh - has it's perks

Those wild poppies were planted along with lots of other wildflowers by one of the chaps they are so pretty :)

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4IVpULh-L7CQmVLcFZ4QzJsVTQ/view?usp=sharing

It wasn't your fault or your lilies it was PB GRRRRRR!!!!! I used to love photobucket too. I recommended it to loads of people

Aidan that is one BIG scone evidenced by the proximity of the jam pot. It looks as light as a feather too :)

You have had rather a hectic day. The cats met up earlier and have planned a 'fly' out tomorrow morning with Pepe flying getting his miles up ;)

Don't worry they have behaved today no litter flicking or anything like that no tuna eating so no problem. :D

I agree with you Joan it's just good to hear from Elizabeth isn't it? I hope Photobucket doesn't start playing up for you too.

Hi all. Hope you are all keeping as well as you can. I'm struggling a bit at the moment, tired and hands and feet are very painful so work is difficult. Hopefully, I'll settle back down by the weekend. Just been to a meeting tonight about the arson attacks in my area - 34 in 3 months. The police said they only have 4 men who can patrol the area but they finish work at 10.30. The fires are started around midnight to 4 am. The fireman gave us advice on keeping rubbish locked away, the antisocial officer did say he is going to have secret cameras put up in an attempt to catch the arsonist. Quite a few of the people who live here said they are going to set up their own patrols during the night.

Of course you can have a Latte with your breakfast Toni.

Finally, at the end of the day, a moment to catch up. Evening to everyone.

it seems that a lot of garden centers, nurseries, have been sold, to provide room for more houses, must be prime land. No, they aint affordable Toni, not one bit. Not many young couples / singles, have 30 odd thousand ££ as a deposit, in order to get a mortgage

I am glad the photo came through on the link, it seems a good way to go, easy to click and see. The scones were maybe a smidgen smaller than last week, but by no means tiny. Very light indeed and very moreish, but that would be greedy - would it? :?

Mum was ok, Dad drove us spare, so nothing changes :lol: yes, it is good that we are close, we always say, "ring, if you need us, 24 / 7."

There will be much excitement about the wedding, it is a late one, 5pm, but the Chapel in the village is GORGEOUS

Glad you are over photo B. They need a bit of a wake up call. Happy deleting :)

The wild flower garden is wonderful, lovely pictures.

Hi Joan, we have had nice weather, took a while to clear the clouds, not too hot, just pleasant, with a breeze. Today is a good forecast, then it kind of goes downhill after that, with lots of rain.
Hope you are both ok and the doggies too.

Hi Barbara, that would be lovely if you could get to the show, will give you details.
If you have both Dropbox and Google, then you are fine, you can get links to each photo very easily :)

Yes, we are guests of honour, we have to take her to the Church, with her Son, who is giving her away and her best friend who is Matron of honour (that should be me, being Matron and all that). Yes, I will get a huge hat, like Mrs Schilling. The car will need a huge valet before then.

It is a shame that the GC is going, we liked the one near town, the little cafe was wonderful and we were their best customers I think. Then one day, closed, up for sale and gone.

Have a lovely 24 hours in Lytham, my fondest regards, it is a great town and the beaches and dunes are wonderful.

So Pepe and Miss Sleek are off to Lytham I see, they enjoy it there Toni. Lots of wide open space to clock up the miles. Whizzing across the dunes and out to sea (but not too far). They will be off and back at dawn, to see the sunrise.

They have been good today, all of them. Did they go to see Jericat and Tomicat? Pepe is keeping tight lipped as to using the transportation spell. Did they touch whiskers and end up somewhere else I wonder

Hi Christine, sorry you are feeling so tired and ouchy, sending lots of wellness and the Bush Babies will pop over for cuddles, in exchange for a jammy dodger biscuit.
Maybe all the travelling is catching up with you now, no wonder when it took you so long to get home, door to door, let alone the time differences.
34 cases of arson in 3 months, that is shocking and then some   What a shame they have time to waste on just causing damage at will.
The Police resources are pushed to the limits, finishing at 1030pm. I think our local station closes at 8pm.
Good to hear that they are going to put camera's up, to try and catch them.
I do hope the people that go out on patrol, take a lot of care and go in a group. :?

I think I have caught up a bit now. Kerrin will be with her family in SA. Carol will be getting excited about her up and coming holiday (hope you managed to get the parcel).
Elizabeth I hope you are all ok, taking a bit of time to enjoy the holidays.
Kath I trust you are doing ok, getting out and about and not too ouchy. Rattle the biscuits and the Bush Babies will flit between you and Christine.

Off to meet up with our friends from Wales this morning, for lunch, which will be nice, not seen them in years. No other great plans.

All of our lovelies are fine, the emu's don't like me now, they ran me out of their field. glad I was in the buggy and could turn up the speed. They are feisty things aren't they.
The Keepers were preparing mountains of fruit and other foods, for the breakfast round. Dr Doolittle was talking to the Meerkats, about mealworms and scorpions

    N Night all. XXX Aidan

    Morning All

did not get on here yesterday or Sunday as I was watching an under 21 Speedway meeting on my laptop which had a lot of re-run races in it, and it took nearly four hours to complete the meeting.
Yesterday I got my new sewing machine parcel I collected it myself from the delivery office in the morning it works but have a small problem where it seems to pull the thread out of the needle eye after a couple of stitches I must have done something wrong on the threading up of the machine itself spent all afternoon on it. so need to read the instructions again and see what is breaking the thread.

Yes Aidan the bush babies are here for cuddles and they now like custard creams as well as jammy dodgers. have now sent them home so anyone who has Jammy dodgers or custard creams in their cupboard beware you may have a bushbaby visit.
Mr T is welcome to his solitary holy island visit not for me I'm afraid the pictures of the island look lovely but solo without anything to do would drive me crazy but he enjoys it. I'd sooner family visit with people about and things to do. I think Mr T would make a good hermit stuck away on his own with his own company. Think I view the Emus from a distance dont fancy being chased by one

Oh Toni I hate it when something like that happens it's so annoying.

Joan I got the parcel yesterday collected it from the parcel office myself its only a small one. so strapped it on the seat of my walker and managed to get it safely home. yes I will enjoy week mr t is away as I am going to stay with my family in Margate. sounds like you too are having post problems hope you get it sorted soon.

Elizabeth yes thanks I have got my parcel now ended up collecting it from the delivery office yesterday. Sounds like you have been having problems too in you family sorry to hear that.

Think it is nearly breakfast time as i'm feeling hungry.
must be off now to get fed and watered as the saying goes

will try to pop in again later
love to all sfl sfl2 sfl0

Carol, you have the sewing machine ..they are hard to thread so complicated..but sure you will get the hang of it..
Christine it seems to be the case everywhere police the streets yourself..not the police fault ..but the government..arson is so serious..they use to get life now a rap on the hand..no wonder you are suffering it will take a while to get over all that traveling..rest when you can..hope you feel better very soon..

Afternoon to all - gosh, the hours of the day have been stolen again.

Glad you have your sewing machine, not sure about the threading and stuff, Mum was a seamstress and she was always very touchy if you went near the tension adjuster LEAVE IT :? That was on her old machine, many years ago.
hope it isn't faulty, if it is, then they can come collect it and send you another, but let's not go down that route, just in case it is something that you will find in the book.

I could never be a Hermit, some people love solace and their own company, I would drive myself batty. A little peace and quiet is very nice and welcome, but away from the internet and phones and coffee shops, no, I would have to send up flares, for someone to come rescue me.:lol:

The bush babies love lots of different biscuits now, as long as they have some sort of filling, they are fine. I think they are over at Christine's as she is suffering somewhat at the moment. All that travelling.

Barbara will be in Lytham, how lovely. Enjoy your time there, it is only about an hour from here. Perfect picnic spot, on the promenade, by the boating lake.

We had a lovely visit with our friends from Wales, they found our meeting point at Townley Hall GC in Burnley. It is 8 years since we last saw them. Lots of catching up to do, although we do write a lot, back and forth.
Lunch was very nice, the chips were fab, the coffee was not so good  Being coffee snobs, anything less than our normal, is like poison.
We didn't get back until after 3, so we were a long time chatting.

Had to have an emergency coffee when we got in, to calm my nerves.:lol:

I was Christened in Welsh, being a Williams, my Late Godfather was a Rector.

Hi Joan, we are all as ok as can be I think. just catching up after being out for most of the day.
That was an early Drs appointment  middle of the night. I think ours start at 0730, which is silly o clock. How were the blood results, ok I trust?

Toni, hope you and yours are all ok. Miss Sleek and Pepe were over in Lytham, to see the sunrise. Bless them. Pepe is getting very close to having enough broomstick miles now, to apply for his advanced test with Miss Slimkins.

Hi to Kerrin, Christine, Elizabeth, Kath, Charrisse and all.

I will catch up again later. Time for tea. XX Aidan

Evening everyone sorry to be so late in!

Busy day Drs for Lucy (nothing urgent) visitors etc etc and yes the hours have gone AWOL too.

Aidan thank you so much for the breakfast feast yum. Forget that – the cake!!! Mmmmmm….

You should have seen the gliding we had here after Miss Sleek’s trip out with her beloved!! This way and that that way and this rolling rolling and stretching - she had a lovely time.

Tomorrow they are off to see Jericat and Tomcat and continuing to notch up Pepe’s broom hours. She said he is really close now and she thinks they’ll be putting in for their tests together within the month!!

Jericat is going in for her theory too, but wants to wait until her Mum is home bless her.

It sounds as though you had a lovely lunch with your friends – I bet those 8 years dissolved in minutes?!

Good job you were in the buggy when you had that run in with the Emus!! They are scary!!

Carol it sounds like a tension issue maybe with your sewing machine? Is there anyone nearby who could help or maybe a Youtube tutorial? I use them a lot with my crochet.

Not to worry I have forgiven myself and photobucket (although I am deleting my photos…one at a time ready to close my account).
I am sure MR T gets a lot out of his trips to the Holy Island.

Barbara do you think that arson is not being treated as seriously now? I hope not.

Photobucket and Me will soon be parting ways!! Not you and me though!! I hope you have had a lovely day out. I expect you missed the cats – they were back here by 10.

Joan I go to the Drs early for me too best that way. I can get one at 7am!! I hope your bloods were ok?

    Love to everyone

Evening / morning to all - hope everyone is as ok as possible.

Sounds like you have lost some hours too Toni, they must be mounting up in the secret garden.
Hope Lucy is ok, nothing urgent is a good thing. Visitors and more visitors - then the day is all gone :?

It was a breakfast feast, but the cake did top it off, an ice cream cake of mega wonderfulness :)

Pepe said that Miss Sleek enjoyed the trip to Lytham, he did too and has been in a good humour, no gliding yet, normally that starts around 1am. He did pinch my coffee earlier, I had nearly finished, put it down, next thing he is in the mug, he does like a drink of coffee

So it is the London trip today, using the transportation spell from Mr Potter. It is a return ticket, so they will be back in a flash. Jericat is indeed doing very well on her broomstick, Tomicat is a bit unimpressed with all the flying. Maybe they can talk him round.

I heard them talking about putting in for their advanced brooming - they have to apply directly to Mr Potter at Hogwarts. Passing the advanced test does impart a lot more magic into the broom.

I guess the 8 years did melt away very quickly. I know I did far too much sitting and nattering, so I am paying for it now, with very shouty joints. It was worth it, to see them again. B and I had mushroom and stilton panini's, which were very nice indeed, very smelly with the stilton, but yummy. :D
I resisted a pudding, but might have to try one next time. We will take Mum n Dad, they have never been there and it is not far from us.

The Emu's are crazy, fine when they are eating their food, but as soon as it is all gone, they are after you :? They seem to be ok with Dr Doolittle, he can tell them off and they behave for him. We will have to learn Emu

So you are on with deleting your pictures, you can delete them on mass, each album or recent uploads etc. I cannot remember quite where the delete button was for doing that  so that is no help really.

Your surgery starts at silly o clock too, I would never get there, B would not be awake for a start

B is busy away with his wire work cabouchons. Lots of clipping of wire concentration. I make T.

Ok, I need to potter, I am setting.

Hi to everyone, Carol, Kath, Kerrin, Barbara, Christine, Elizabeth, Mig, Charrisse (hope you are ok Charrisse).

Take lots of care, I will potter around the sanctuary and see our lovelies.

    Morning everyone :)

Oh Joan you poor thing :( the boot must stay on if it's still not healed. Will that be because of the osteoporosis?

Morning Aidan yes that cake!!! It was the best ever :) I can still taste it now.

Good job they have some transportation spell left you know, as it was pouring down here and no way would they have got to Jericat and Tomcat's otherwise!!

Jericat has got all her stopawing distances memorised already apparently

I expect Pepe needed the caffeine in your coffee (even if it was decaf he wouldn't have known  ). Next time Diddi does so much gliding I will have to try to video it - can I post it on here??? never tried a video.

Payback for seeing old friends is ALWAYS worth it :D

I'll see if I can work out how to delete albums on PB as I get an advert after each delete :x

Ah maybe I see your contribution to the jewellery work...hovering up sharp metal clippings before they go into delicate paws :) Go B :bee:

No need to fill any watering holes today and the Meerkats are chattering about the weather despite the roof being shut and the heating on

We need to either learn 'Emu' or suss out the food which takes them the longest to eat before going in??

    Anyway love to everyone :D

    Toni xxx

It's not stopped raining yet. No walk for me today :(

Afternoon to all - finally, we have internet again, a major outage in our area.
First long call to Sky, they said it is your box, so a new one is on the way. Then next door, who is with Sky, came and asked if our internet was off :? So another call to Sky, different person this time, she checked again, seeing as we were both off. Not the box at all, everywhere around was off. Thousands of homes, openreach on the case.

Anyway, big do's and little do's, we are now back online :) and yes, the day has gone

Remind me to pop into the secret garden and gather 24 hours out of the shed, that should cover this week so far.

Good luck with all those pictures Toni, did they not vanish when you deleted the albums? What a pain, having to do them all at once and even then, they keep them for so long

Video's, mmmm, not sure, I think you would have to upload it to youtube and then pop the link into your post. Then we could click and watch Miss Sleek doing her gliding. I think you can have your video's set to private, so only people you share the link with, can see it.

It was pouring down here too - I heard the boomstick charging up and then it went POP like a champagne cork and Pepe was gone. It is a wonderful spell, pity we cannot tag on.

Jericat is doing very well indeed, almost ready for theory tests. At least that can be done locally, other flying tests have to be on and around Pendle Hill, because of the inherent magic around here.

Pepe was soon back, mind you, there is no travelling time, so come 0930, he was back on his pillows.

Pepe is a terror, he always nicks coffee if it is left unsupervised. He is in lick mode at the moment, anything plastic, the dryer, the washer, book covers................

I can indeed use the cordless vacuum to clean up around the jewellery department, B is careful with the clippings, always checking if things have gone PING.

We are in bracelet city at the moment 8) 8)

We do need to learn Emu, I will have to look in detail as to their fav foods, so that we can tame them a little.

It's all go, neighbours in, out, back again, lol. Weddings, this that and the other..................

Hi Joan, I hope your foot mends as soon as possible, is there no improvement over the past few weeks? Will they x ray it again soon. Sending hugs and keep the boot supporting as much as possible.

Barbara will be on her way back from Lytham.

Hi to Kerrin Kath Carol Elizabeth Charrisse and all.

I will go find some spare hours and sort out our afternoon cake and T.

    Lots of love XXX Aidan

This caught my eye and sounds VERY nice

Oooh! Lovely fudge custard cake!! Thank you Aidan :)

Frustrating day for you then with no internet....still it enabled you to have visits and wedding chats unimpeded :)

The transportation spell is amazing isn't it? Diddicat was back by 9.30am too what a coincidence

I will try to video her next time she is doing her adorable gliding :) Then I will experiment with YouTube maybe so long as it can only be seen by friends.

Jericat is a very clever protégée isn't she? don't mention to Pepe, but it is often the female pusskins who are natural on broomsticks :? Apparently she wants to book her theory and can't remember when her Mummy will be home???

If Pepe comes over here (when I am out no doubt) I will take care where I leave my coffee - does he take sugar?

To it's bracelet city then? I'm sure he would take extra care with sharp bits and delicate paws around :) Like me last night when I broke a glass  3x I cleaned the floor before I was happy.

Apples and grapes as treats for the Emus and apparently they are quite tame and gentle. Are we getting them wrong?? are they trying to be friends??

I will pick some fruit up and brave an early morning visit, but will get Miss Sleek to spray me with a protective shield incase.

A busy day here went over to Charley's gf's Nan's to collect some special rose bushes (due to the move) they need to be moved at the 'wrong' time of year. They are living in my veggie bed for now and will be cared for by myself.

She seems to be very up-beat so still numb I think. Often the case until after the funeral.

Anyway better check on Lucy again - she's in the shower.

    Love to everyone

Morning :DJoan I think you are back at the consultant in August you'll have to ask him/her?
These roses are all different colours and belonged to relatives long since passed away so I will look after them extra carefully :?

    Morning everyone else :)

I think the sun is trying to shine :D Choir practise tonight I think we are performing on Sunday so we'd better be good :?

I've already been out to the vets with Charley's pusskin and then to Tesco.

One of my fish doesn't look great so I've done the peeled peas and swimbladder treatment fingers crossed :?

    Take care

Oh Barbara! You poor thing!! I hope you are ok. Remember soft tissue injuries take as long to heal as broken bones so be careful now ((()))

I think you might have been right there about seeing the cats on the donkeys!! Miss Sleek did take her pocket money with her. :? Bless them.

I hope you had a good time apart from throwing yourself down steps??!!

I have just used the Neilmed sinus rinse for the first time (see youtube vids for the terrifying reality!)OMG  I thought I was going to die  Luckily I am still alive though my sinuses are still blocked :( Wonder how long I have to do it for?

I heard nothing about the CT scan on them so I rang the sec yesterday to be told he wants to see me...next apt September 26th I think so decided to try this while I'm waiting.

We are having a monumental storm I hope the roses like it  save me watering later anyway.

    Love to everyone
