    Evening to all -

Pepe was saying that there was someone in the background racing about, flapping their arms and trying to jump in the air, when he was talking to Miss Sleek on the cat cam.:lol::lol: Maybe if Miss Sleek sprinkles a little magic dust on the new book Toni, you never know.............

Sashe' eh, very graceful, with tail en point :) Pepe is fast asleep, not even got up for any supper yet. :? I think the shock of the certificate has made him very tired.

Of course Pepe will assist with Kath riding on the broomstick, around the Church Spire and a nosey over the village :)

Yes, Lucy seems to be her confidant, when it comes to puskin romances. Bless her little paws.

The bush babies are very discreet when it comes to wee wee time, no perching on the train loo, perish the thoughts. :?

Thursday will be a mixed set of emotions, but we will enjoy our little lunch out with Mum and Dad, I will pop a picture of Mum and me on FB, as I do each year.

Funny, we had Dad's INR books for ages and I still have Mums glasses in the medicine cupboard. Not silly, just something that was close to them, therefore close to us. We still have the Ottoman to go through, with all Dads diaries, sermons, paintings, family pictures.

Hope you enjoyed the butterfly cake, I think I tried one of everything, or was it two..........ooops.

It is amazing how blood tests have developed over the years, when I think back, only the basics would come back, normally over the telephone to the ward, then, more and more tests were done so quickly and now they appear on the patients notes in no time at all. The same with x rays. Waiting for the porters to bring them to the ward

Are you still waiting for the DNA test results?

I am sure the young man is very worried about the surgery, but I am sure Lucy was very positive and offered sage advice, with getting better pains, not AVN pain.

Hi Joan, so we will need the cloak on Tuesday, to make sure that boot is finally removed and your foot can begin to gain strength.

We have had torrential downpours today, ever since our neighbour on the other side said " it won't rain today" :? :? REALLY. Wait till I see him tomorrow.

Good to know that the heating is still doing what is should. I think I might faint if ours was on at night, but I know you both feel the cold.

Hi Christine - that would be ideal, if they could do all the opthalmic surgery at the same time. All are quite successful, everyone I have known who has had cataracts removed has said the difference is remarkable.

Glad that the bush babies are helping with those ouchy fingers. Taping it to the next finger will help remind you not to do too much.
Thank you for the Anniversary wishes :) and the hugs too :)

Removing speed humps will certainly encourage people to speed again  the amount of emissions must be tiny, in comparison to lives saved by controlling the traffic.

You will have to team up with Barbara, both on the ball and waiting for the traffic controllers / officers. We need you in high vis jackets 8) 8)

I read about the incident in Ireland with the army cadets, I bet your heart did skip a beat......  I am glad your GS was not in that group and I hope all who needed rescuing and had injuries are mending quickly.

I see you have been busy away with your course work, essays and answering questions, you do conquer them so well.

Hi Carol, two more sleeps and then off you go, sailing into the sunset :)

I am sure Snowie loved cuddles, bless, a big softie. Just the one puskin, but maybe you will be carried away :)

The picture of you and Mr T is a lovely one.

I thought the bush babies would be checking out the suitcases. Glad he came down for a jammie dodger and you said he had to stay at home. Mind you, if someone needs hugs, they will still be there, distance is not a hindrance to them.

Yes, Lillie wanted the shopkins, that's right, I knew someone was gathering them for presents.

The internet has gone off, so I keep copying this, if I lost it, I would loose it too.

Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Mig, Charrisse and all.

Right, the internet has come back on, so I will post asap. Take care all. XXXX Aidan

Just one buttery croissant for me please Aidan thank you very much :)

Did you say Pepe saw me? did he describe a 'fairy elephant'? :? If so it probably was  I have asked Diddi about some magic dust on my new Harry Potter (with him a Dad!) book. We shall see, but I am loathe to make a fool of myself again

Those certificates made them soooo very proud didn't they? She is still sashaying!!! Tail indeed en pointe. I don't think they slept a wink last night they were chattering and chirruping and Purring...bless :D

I will make a pint of popping into fbook later today to see your photo.

I hope B's Mum and Dad have a lovely day today n015.gif

I read through my Mum's yellow book backwards and forwards. You need to brave the ottoman if you can sometime. It will probably make you cry, feel immense pride and other emotions, but it will likely be cathartic too.

Xrays get emailed to Drs and they just open them up in front of you! We aren't waiting for a special blood test no only if there were indication in the 'normal' one which checks neuts, platelets, CRP, Red blood cells etc. Enough to warn Dr Tim. I will do my best to get a photo of him and Lu and let you know if she'll send me one.

The cloak is ready for Tuesday? Good, but boot only off if Joan's consultant says foot is healed enough :?

Carol, living in Staffordshire there are loads of staffies here and I am yet to meet a bad one! They have adorable smiles and such soft coats like velvet. I hope Chino keeps going for your daughter.

It does get hot under the cloak doesn't it? Did you see when I needed the loo and got trapped in there in a station waiting to 'go'!!! Not allowed to use it in a station

3 more nights!!! Lucky you :)

Christine will they bang you out for all those eye issues?? It is very wise to do all 3 bits together. Lucy's cyst. She had to put a warm flannel on the eye and massage the cyst for weeks first when that didn't work they cut it out. Took no time at all. That was the October before she got ill.

I hope strapping your finger to the next one helps remind you to be careful until they ease off.

You wouldn't have wanted to watch the fairy elephant jumping and flapping

I am so very very glad your GS was not stranded in N Ireland on that mountain. I was wondering what on earth anyone was doing there now I understand. I bet you felt sick :?

Joan I think they keep testing the kids for 5 years, but hopefully it will be 4 months next time for a while then at bigger intervals. I hope your foot is healed enough to ditch that boot on Tuesday :) The cloak is ready for us all.

    Love to everyone else

Not too ouchy today, just a bit around the hips. :D Good job the cakes have no calorific value, I'm eating them by the dozen - with a little help from the Bush Babies. They seem to prefer anything with jam. Toni, I remember a children's program with a chubby fairy in it, can't remember the name though. Was that you? :D

Carol. I shall be interested in how your cataract op goes, I will have to have mine done eventually. They can't do my left eye, it's too fragile after 7 failed ops, including a corneal graft, all failed. So I'm completely blind n that eye, so need the right eye saving. :?

Joan, I shall be under the cloak. :D

Carol, it sounds as if Snowie was a lovely dog. You are doing the right thing waiting for the right cat to come along. I'm sure it won't be too long. Well have to do a roll call on the bush babies once you are away.

Aiden, I saw the picture of you and your mum. She looks lovely. I hope today has been ok for you and you enjoyed the anniversary celebrations.

Toni, I believe the eye ops are done under a local anaesthetic but I'd have to lie still for an hour or so. With my neck and back, I don't think so. I'll discuss it with them when the time comes. I've been told to do the warm flannel thing too. Maybe that's what's eased it. I'm hoping it will just disappear.

Joan, you have a busy day coming up on Tuesday. I hope it all goes smoothly and you do get your boot off.

Kath, glad you're not too ouchie today. So you'r eating cakes by the dozen. I am eating ice lollies by the dozen. Another one waiting for a cataract op. Mine's only very small at the moment. Not sure how fast they grow. And you've already had 7 ops on your eye. Well if you can do all that, I'm sure I can get through mine.

Barbara, what a busy day you had. Happy birthday to Niamh. Hope she enjoys her party. I've got the parking officer's number and I've to phone him if I see the cars again. Would you believe it. I went that way twice today and not a sign of them.

I couldn't get much done at work today as the daughter was in bed all morning so I ended up doing mostly ironing. They are all going on holiday next week so I'll catch up then. Besides they'll need some of the clothes for their holiday. I did a very silly thing this afternoon. Knowing I had painful fingers, I used the hedge cutter and cut back the front of the hedge. Lost most of the strength in my hands and could hardly pick anything up. Well that will teach me. I feel ok now though. :? sfl0

    Evening all

It is now as Aidan has said 2 more sleeps and then we are off. and we have decided not to take any I pads or tablets away with us so a complete 2 weeks 2days with no internet at all just relaxing and enjoying or holiday what bliss.

Aidan yes it was shopkins last year don't know until I ask GD what this years in thing with Lillie or what Graycie likes I usually ask her about September October time what the in thing is then great nanny always buys the right present :lol: hope your internet is behaving now, No sign of any bush baby today so he must have listened yesterday and will not try to get in the suitcase again.

Toni Staffies are lovely dogs very good natured I always sat there is no such thing as a bad dog its bad owners who don't know how to train and look after them properly who cause the problems.
yes can be very hot under the cloak we need this with us next time fsmile and I did notice your problem on the station very awkward

Joan the puskins does have to be the right one that's most important.

Kath If you meant me I am not down for any op with the cataracts at all yet, I just have to go to opticians every year now for a retest last time I went she told me they hadn't really grown any more from the year before. sorry to hear about your situation with your eyes.

Barbara your right about the Staffies they are very affectionate dogs you can scold them for something they have done wrong and they still come to you for cuddles. Its some stupid owners who teach them to attack things that gives the bad name .
but always the dog that takes the blame its so sad really.

Well its off now for a little buggy ride around to see the lovelies are all quite and behaving and then a potter before bed.

    night night all :animal_busy:
    Stay positive always👍xx

Evening to all - Well that day came and went in a flash :?

I hope you enjoyed your buttered croissant Toni

Yes, Pepe saw you and he video'd it too   , but he is banned from putting on cattube or catbook. There was no mention of a fairy elephant but there was chuckling well into the night, over the snapcatchat :? :? I know nothing and saw nothing :? :?

The least the little minxes could do is sprinkle magic onto the new H Potter book, so don't worry if you start floating around

Thank you for your comment on my FB page, thank you to everyone else too, very kind. It was taken a fair few decades ago, we must have been on the way to, or from Church. Mum made nearly all of her own clothes, as she was a seamstress in her young days, started at 14 years old.

B's Mum n Dad had a lovely day, we went round to collect them, took their present, a very nice antique chiming mantle clock, which they are thrilled with :)

We will go through the ottoman sometime soon and have a sort through. I am sure there will be waves of differing emotions. I was a tad weepy when I posted on FB last night.

That's good, about the bloods, things being normal and not raising warning signs. Will look forward to the photo, thanks Lucy :)

Ooo, I didn't know you were in the loo, when the train was in the station, always makes me wonder why you cannot use the facilities when the train is in the station? :? I think we need to ask Herrmione to add some facilities under the cloak, she has so many rooms in her little tent, I am sure she will help. Pepe will send a message to her and ask.

Talking of stations and Mr Potter etc. Who was flying around at the GC today, I was facing the window and saw two puskins, riding pillion through the trees !!! I tried not to look too surprised   They were in the shop and found this

    https://goo.gl/photos/9UcgnT42BQEfGp1D8

Both of them bought one, so you may see one laying around, with notes, ready for the advanced test this month !

Hi Joan, we are all doing ok thank you. We were all a bit jaded when we finally arrived home after 3pm. B and I were just SO tired. Everything was hurting, but, apart from that, we are ok, lol.

We will be with you today, from early morning, until mid afternoon, keeping an eye on what is done :) Lunch, yes, we will need lunch, I will sort something out.

So the cakes are going down well then Kath, that's the way, we are all dependent on them now, so we must have them, regularly, if not sooner.
Glad things are not too ouchy, the bush babies will help with the ouchies in exchange for a little came with lots of jam, the more mess the better

A programme with a tubby fairy, I am saying nothing, about anything  :?

You do need the R eye saving, without a doubt Kath, that was a lot of failed ops, how terrible.

It was Toni, in the tv show? Oh my.:lol::lol: :?

Hi Barbara - I see you cannot sleep, all the excitement with the GC, has left you all in a spin.

Niamh, coming for play time and cuddles then middle GD for sleepover, then a party today, goodness, no wonder you are wide awake ! Happy Birthday to Niamh :cake:

Thank you for thinking of me today, that is very kind, I think we all find ourselves thinking of each other at many points in the day, good vibrations, far and wide :)

I didn't even get chance to put some cakes out, I was so weary, it was nap time not long after we arrived home. Ooops.

Hi Christine, thank you, Mum was a little dot, mighty mouse we used to call her. Today has been ok, very tiring, more so than normal for some reason, but otherwise ok.

We will be with you when you have your eye done, making sure hands are held and helping you to lie still. My late Dad was crippled with bone disease, they found a way to make him comfortable on the theatre table. They move in a thousand different ways.

Maybe the cyst will disappear, sometimes they do. It will sooth it anyway.

Hopefully your fingers will have eased so that you can catch up at your Boss' house next week. Laying in bed all morning, gosh, I cannot remember the last time, apart from being in hospital. I could not do it now, I would be frightened of missing something :lol:

Oh, I see you have been cutting the hedges, now that will set your hands off.  we all do things like that don't we.

Right Carol, we are down to one more sleep..................... :bee:

No I pads, no tablets, oh my   they will have an internet cafe won't they? We will miss you. Maybe you could sneak in there just to let us know how wonderful it is :) schair sdrink

Nanny does right, checking what the in thing is, ready for Christmas, I guess it won't be Shopkins this time round.

You are right about Staffies, the few I have known, have been the softest smiling doggies you can imagine. The owners who train them otherwise, are wrong, on so many levels.

Thank you for the fan, I will pop it under the cloak. It is needed, it gets a little wilting in there sometimes.

I would check on the bush babies, they are missing from their house in the animal sanctuary. :?

Well, I had better move again soon. I seem to take about two hours to write, with pottering and moving around.

We did have a very nice time at the GC, the coffee was better than last week, the panini was very nice, Mum didn't eat much of her light bite gammon lunch, but we enjoyed sharing a big scone. The chips there have mystical powers, if you eat one, you cannot stop....

I will post this, then say n night and leave breakfast / brunch, to take with us on Joan's appointments. Not sure if I have exceeded my number of pics / links........?

Aidan I'll take the brunch with pleasure, but I thought the cloak duties were Tuesday with Joan??

    Mega all-day duties too.

I love the good morning :D

Oh my goodness  It was them I saw that plaque in Lucy's room now I know who bought it!! Bless them Diddicat has been after a trip to the GC 'furrever' I am told although Pepe has been may times before. He was driving she pillion. :)

Thank you for ensuring my photo has not made it to catbook or cattube - my worst fear!!

Your Mum looked lovely in the photo on facebook, (my Mum made her own clothes too - weren't they clever!). Happy memories if bittersweet. You'll be glad you went through that ottoman once you've braved it. ((()))

I am very pleased B's Mum and Dad like their clock :D

Late night visit from Barbara - I hope you got off in the end and are not too drained today?

Aww Kath with two bush-babies on her knee :) A bit like you with Niamh. Gosh 5?? I cannot believe it! She was the BABY!!!!

    Where' the party? h087.gif

I know she is always on the go and wears her Grandparents out  It being school hols was it all day :?

I bet reading your Mum's diary was lovely. I read some of my Mum's letters she got after having us all :) Letters! Emails are not the same are they?

Carol is it two more sleeps now or are we down to 1  :D

You are right about bad owners not dogs. Shame just anyone can have one. :? I thought you noticed me stuck in the loo hopping about waiting for the train to move off

I hope all the animals were happy when you went a ride? Did you take fruit out?

Christine regarding the cyst I think some people are lucky and they can get rid of tem with the flannel and massage so fingers crossed because that would be one less thing.

I would say the ironing would be the most helpful thing to do to be honest if they are all going away at work....as you say you can catch up afterwards when they are gone :D

I hope daughter had a reason for being in bed and not just laziness

I cannot believe you did your hedges    I hope your hands are ok now. I don't blame you - everyone is doing them here, but honestly!

Today I must brave a supermarket after washing my hair. Look at me still not dressed

Hi to Joan :) Is it TUESDAY you need us under the cloak??

    See you all later

Tesco online doesn't appear to have any branded wholemeal bread, such as Kingsmill or Hovis. Can't understand why, unless it's because they're updating their website.

AW look at that Pepe!! He's adorable with his sombrero on :) Lovely Kath!!

I got my branded hovis wholemeal in Tesco this morning. I hope the lack of online isn't permanent.

Not the best day yesterday was it Aidan. Memories and all that understandable. Today is Friday :)

As my ex MIL would say. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you"

    Tuesday it is.

Barbara I am glad to hear you got some sleep in the end.

Supermarket was busy (HUGE Tesco), but I got round super-quick dodging the online shoppers!

Dentist this afternoon for me Lu and Tia (Charley had to go recently) no fillings and no scrape or polish needed for any of us :).

Niamh is 5. Time really does fly. Please do post a pic of the cake if you have to do it on fbook let us know and we'll go and peep there :)

I might be going away again soon....not sure yet. One of the villagers is organising a trip to Benidorm and I have never been!

    Hope Joan is ok :?

Afternoon to all - bright and breezy, no rain :) Pleasant. Not so in the Med, they are having a massive heatwave, with temps up to 43 degrees. Stay cool Carol and Mr T.

Glad you enjoyed the brunch I had packed Toni,:lol:  the good morning was lovely, I quite agree. Today I think it is Saturday and yesterday I thought it was Monday, so not sure if I am on this earth or fullers, as we say.

Tuesday is the marathon cloak event. Definitely.

Hermione has installed a proper loo in the cloak, with a wave of her wand, it was done, bless her, she is lovely. No more crossing of legs on trains etc.

Ah, but this was not our regular garden center, this was the one we met our friends at last week. Only over Pendle and on a little. They managed to follow us, from the get go, they were up high, tracking the car.

Miss Sleek has been to ours, according to Pepe, they often fly over, when they are doing the rounds of the villages and spires. I think she might be a little confused, having found the Hogwarts book, Pepe said she was all at sixes and sevens. :?

No, the video of you trying to fly has been deleted. I would be just the same, fame, no thanks. Well, not for flapping about anyway :lol:

That's nice, both Mum's made their own clothes, Mum was really good, shirts, jackets, cassocks, cloaks, suits, dresses. They loved going to Scotland and buying real Harris Tweed to make clothes with.

I hope the supermarket was not too hectic. You were up early doors. Says me who was woken umpteen times by the cats, throwing litter about.

It is a tad windy, but Pepe and Miss Slimkins have been out for a wee ride around, Pepe has the required broomstick miles now   so we await the call from Hogwarts for them to go and do their advanced flying exam and quidditch. I assume the invitation will come down our none existent chimney. :? They are both excited. Hermione will be on the judging panel, so Miss Sleek will have to remain calm and not be star struck.

Hi Barbara, you managed to get to sleep, just as we were going to bed.
I guessed your mind would be racing.

Hoping the party for Niamh goes well, lots of goodies and presents and so many things to play with, you will need a lie down  Looking forward to a picture of party and cake :)

Don't worry about overdoing the brunch, I had it all ready, thinking it was Tuesday tomorrow - don't ask, one of those senior moments.

Sadly a lot of skills have been lost over the years, only now, are people getting more into craft and making things again, take jewellery or card making, that is big business now. Sewing is taking off again too, which is nice. Youngsters need something to do rather than stare at their phones or x boxes etc.

We had not had a scone from the alternative GC, but they looked so good and very large, they were lovely. It is over in Burnley, at Townley Hall.

Well Kath, that is one fine picture of a handsome cat, called Pepe I see, looking very aloof. :)

Strange that Tesco online don't have any branded breads, they sell aisles full of them. Must be something to do with their website. Some of their own breads are a little stale, even on the day you buy them :?

Hope you are not too ouchy today, leaving ((())) as always.

Toni has been to Tesco and bought all the branded bread, it is her fault Kath,:lol:
Swift in and out, ideal, Bill hates supermarket shopping, I don't mind it, as long as it is not too busy.

Good news from the dentist. Yes, today is Friday, I keep telling myself.

Going away, Benidorm, gosh, well, there is always a first time. I know our neighbours go sometimes, to the quieter part, the old town bit, whatever it is called, she did say...........see, something else I have forgotten.

Right, I had better go see if those cakes are ready, it is nearly T time.

All the lovelies look very happy in their homes in the Sanctuary, Johnny is on this week end, along with some very good Keepers, they even know how to wander around with the warthogs  it must involve treats, the same as the Emu's.

Cake - everyone take lots of care, to all in, out and preparing for their holidays :) Take care Carol and have a fabulous time.

    Catch you later XXX Aidan

    Evening one and All

Count down is 1 sleep away from the off now Its been a very busy day today and one of those everything goes wrong days many silly irritating little things that were solved but took time, but we have done well as it is now 7.45 and everything we can do and have packed tonight is done and we are just enjoying a relaxing evening has been done just a couple of things to be packed in the morning.

Aidan yes I've heard that too but we have the high factor sun tan cream, sunglasses and the sunhats at the ready and at least the ship is air conditioned and when on the coach trips the coaches all have very good air conditioning. have had a last minuet cuddle with the bush babies and told them the under no circumstances can they come with me but promised to give them lots of cuddles when I get back. think they got the message cos they were very serious looking. they do have internet areas but we have both decided to have a two week break from it. no not shopkins this year and Nanny likes to get the presents right.

Barbara yes I was telling the bushbabies that I could not take them with me and that they could not come with me. and Staffies are just about the best breed I know my daughter has one too.

Toni one more sleep now off tomorrow. yes the lovelies were all happy and yes I did the fruit round.

I will now say I wish you all well while I am away, and never fear I will be back as soon as I am home to catch up with you all. and see what has been going on.

See you all soon gonna miss you all. schair sdrink fsmile
    Stay positive always👍xx

Carol, I think you're doing the right thing not taking ipads with you. It must be tomorrow you are going away, is it? Just nothing but relaxing. You're right about dogs. It's down to how the owner treats them how they behave.

Barbara, I hope you did manage to get some sleep last night. It's awful being awake all night. My GS will be home later tonight so we'll find out a bit more about what happened with the cadets. Was Nyv's party today or is it tomorrow? Looking forward to seeing her cake. Hope she has a lovely time.

Aiden, you will be weepy when you sort out the ottoman but you can do it when you're ready and a bit at a time. Thank you. That is reassuring to know I can be made comfy if and when I go for my eye op. I used to stay in bed all morning when I was a teenager but after that, like you, I was scared of missing something and there were never enough hours in the day as it was. Can I please have the profiterole on the bottom? Oops, it all fell down. Don't worry. I'll put it all back up again and take the top one.

Toni, I agree emails are not the same as letters. My mum left some letters, a short story and some poems. We have made copies so we all have them. I hope you didn't have to wait too long before the train pulled out of the station. My boss's daughter got back from America late on Sunday night so I asked if she was still suffering from jet lag. Apparently she's over that and was just having a lie in. She got up at 12.30pm today because she was going out at 1pm. Not sure if I'm just silly or still in denial that I can't carry on cutting hedges etc. My dad and sister told me off today too. Glad all was well with your teeth. I dread going now. There's always something not right.

Kath, that is unusual Tesco not having branded bread. I hope you managed to get some you like.

Joan, I'll be there on Tuesday under the cloak. Aiden has prepared a picnic for us all. We won't drop any crumbs. Hope you have a good weekend.

My boss's mum asked me to go to her house today. She picked me up then asked me to hoover her bedroom, the stairs and the sitting room. Halfway through the sitting room, she said I'd done enough. Took me about 15 minutes. I said I'd do dusting but she said no it didn't need to be done. Only did a quick shop in Aldi today as my sister was with me and she wanted to get home so I didn't buy any treats so I had to make do with 2 ice lollies. Maybe not a bad idea though.

Evening to all, after a pleasant day, just the right temperatures, unlike the heatwave in most of the Med / Spain, south of France, etc.

We well remember the heatwave of 2003, our first summer after moving to France, when it got to 45 degrees  Dangerously hot.

Hi there Carol, no more sleep and you will now be off on your jolly's. I don't blame you really, for keeping the whole trip for relaxing and enjoying everything. We will miss you too.
Naturally the whole ship will be air conditioned, coaches too. I see you have packed the sun screen and everything else and are chilled out and ready. 8) 8)

I thought the Bush babies looked a little subdued, they will miss their cuddles. (if you get any ouches, just shout and they will come see you).
I have given them some extra jammy jam tarts, which seems to be helping

Thank you for doing the extra fruit round in the sanctuary, there is a lot of munching going on still. Blush is in a complete mess with his watermelon   he will need a wash.

Well wishes right back too you, have safe travels and enjoy your time away, take lots of care. XX

Hi Joan, now that I have the correct day instilled into my head, the cloak will be ready for your many trips, on Tuesday. I will re pack another brunch on Monday night.
That is kind, thinking of everyone, we all do the same, which is good to know, always nice to have some extra good vibrations from friends, far and wide.

Hope you have managed to get out and about, the weather seems to have picked up a bit now, for a day or two at least.

Uncle and Aunt from Swindon are coming up next week for Mum's 80th Birthday and 60th Wedding Party combined. There will be 20 of us I think  when we go out for a meal next week end.

Hi Christine - hope you are recovering from clipping the hedges.

I bet you are glad your GS is home and you can find out about the events in the mountains of Morne.

We will sort the ottoman, it is what to do with all the diaries that Dad kept from the late 1940's onward. I don't think I could throw and of them away. Lovely that you all have copies of the letters, poems, stories, from your Mum, to treasure. I have Dads book of sermons, that I would never part with, they span so many years.

I am sure they will make you as comfy as possible, they all move very easily.
The older you get, the less time there seems to be in the day.
Of course you can have the bottom row of profiteroles, you did a good job of stacking them up again :lol:

You Boss's Daughter obviously likes her boudoir. Up at 12 30 and out by 1pm, that is cutting it fine.

I am sure your Boss's mum, likes you company and noticed that you were not feeling your best, hence she said no need to carry on.
No treats, oh dear, those ice lollies will have to do until you can get to the shops again. Have another row of profiteroles :)

I hope everything went well for Niamh's birthday party Barbara. I bet you are tired and will sleep well tonight.

Time is a marching on, so I will say n night, wishing everyone a restful night, take care all.

    XXX Aidan

Oh no!! Miss Slimkins and Pepe are contemplating holidaying on a cruise liner  They want to visit Carol :? :?

Can you have a word Aidan? I think Lucy suggested they just go to the dock here in the UK and see her off

I bet France was intolerable in that heat! Were you better able to cope with it in those days though? I had my back op in 2003 it was perfect recuperating weather

Johnny gave Blush a bath last night and apparently he loved it (Blush not Johnny!!) All mush gone and he's still smiling from ear to ear.

How lovely to have all that family up for Mum's 80th! Wow!! and to think she might not have been here now look at her :D Plenty of photos needed with permission to post of fbook if they are all happy.

The sermons might be useful to someone you know Aidan. They will have meaning to you too so read them if you can. I wouldn't dispose of them either or the diaries. Are you an only? Do you have siblings? anyone to pass them on to? Are they good enough to publish maybe?

I love our Saturday morning blessing thank you and will be back for brunch later...mmmmm :) Yesterday's was lovely too, but this one!

Hermione is a star isn't she? I comfy private loo  :D bliss I was 'hanging on' for ages!!

Oh yes of course Miss Sleek has seen the book :? I hope Pepe has explained things? As for their advanced test Pepe thinks he will try to hypnotise her so she isn't too star-struck as Hermione is on the panel  Yes keep an eye out I will watch our real chimney (or chimley  ).

They are off to see Jericat today and Tomcat wondering when their Mum gets back to they can book her in for her theory. If she passes first time (which she should) she can go straight in for her practical.

It is the Old town yes you are right, but my naughty villagers are going to the New Town  . We can have two adjacent rooms for us and Lucy, but it's pricey so going to look at other hotels/apartments nearby.

Christine your bosses wife just wants your company I am sure of it bless her!

As for the daughter all that sleeping!! How old is she? I grew out of lie-ins pretty early, but you know my old Mum loved a lie-in at the weekend bless her.

Christine (here comes the bossy bit) NO MORE HEDGE TRIMMING!!! I don't do it now you jolly well shouldn't be!! Might be an idea to see how much you could pay someone to do a damn GOOD trim once a year?

How lovely to have all those memories of your Mum :) So special. I've probably said before that my mum left a note for us kids telling us not to cry that she was ok and with her love now. My dad. Oops!!:cry:

2 measly ice lollies? :? terrible

    Why are there profiteroles everywhere?

Joan I hope you have a good weekend too I think we are in for some sunshine! That lady is silly putting up with a headache for nothing ::)

Carol it's all going silly wrong because you don't have time for it to!! I hope today has been better and I am so exited for you!! Please though if you see Diddicat and Pepe send them HOME!! They are not allowed to go with you although they want to

It sounds as though you are all ready and well I will top up fruit for you while you're away.

WE will miss you too Carol :)

    Have a great time!!

    Love to everyone else

    Toni xx

Who tripped in the back garden steps and has one huge gash in one leg and two bruises one on other knee one on hip OUCH!!!!! That will teach me to carry less and look more!! Did I just tell Christine off for overdoing the gardening

we were under the gazebo this morning, eating breakfast. Our friends are Rose and Gary, best burger stall in the world. :D We bought them a miniature Rose for their garden. A Rose for a Rose.

Oh Toni, I hope your injuries heal quickly. Gardens are dangerous places.
