Good Afternoon all
My why do the days go so quickly. seems no sooner you get up its time to go back to bed.
well finally got my parcel after collecting it myself from the post office on Monday. It was a small midi sewing machine and after a couple of hiccups on Monday and finding a tutorial on the website on Tuesday evening, by yesterday morning it was up and running smoothly. thought I would pop in now as we out with our church fortnightly meal out. and must get changed ready. Nearly everything got for holidays now so now just counting down the days to the off. Joan sorry to hear that the foot has not healed properly hope it gets sorted soon for you. Aidan so you live in bracelet city do you I just love that idea. not sure about the flying around hanging on to the broomsticks though, have just had a little ride to see the lovelies and given the Emus some grapes and apples and they were being quite friendly so perhaps they're not that bad after all bushbabies are on the loose again so who has some nice biccies or needs hugs. I guess they will be with that person.
Barbara you really must stop throwing yourself off stairs it really is not the best thing to do but Seriously hope you are not in too much pain and you heal very soon. sending ((((hugs)))).
Well must go as it is nearly time to go out so I need to get changed
Love to you allStay positive always👍xx0 -
Fruit is the answer then Carol!! The Emus will love us if we bribe them
When are you off to see the littlies?
I'm off to choir now we are doing the St James' patronal ceremony on Sunday.

Evening to all, well, I think I will draw a veil over the last 24 hours of internet messing about - I just about lost the will and wanted to throw every item of technology out of the window. And breathe.
So, we are not at the end of Thursday, I did manage to save what I had written on Wed night, so I will pop that in now and then carry on beneath ----
That fudge, custard and sponge cake just called to me. One of those "face plant" cakes I think
I guess the lack of internet did allow some wedding chatter. Only 11 weeks away and our neighbour is tying herself in knots, so we did some calming things down a bit.
Pepe is full of it tonight, he must have enjoyed his transportation trip to see Jericat and Tomicat. I think Miss Sleek was pillion today, on their flights over London (much to her delight). Bless.
Definitely make sure that any video's are private Toni. I have never posted anything to youtube, but I will have a google and see how it is done.
Lady puskins are more natural when it comes to brooming, without a doubt, look how many times Pepe went into the pine trees
I think Kerrin was away for about two weeks last time, if I remember correctly.
Yes, bracelets are in abundance, now necklaces are appearing too. B is very good at his domesticity. Broken glass, oh dear, been there umpteen times and yes, multiple vacuuming, to the point of obsession, is required, when puskins are about. They always want to come see what has broken  no, go away..............
There were pig ears tonight, we had a thunderstorm, which clattered and rattled the foundations, much to the surprise of the pus cats. They were soon petted and fussed and told it was ok. They don't bother when lightning is flashing, unlike our neighbour who was likely under the dining table
No fly zone was in force.
Now that the internet has decided to remain settled, I will carry on.
Good that you are taking charge of the rose bushes, in your garden Toni, I am sure they will be fine, most plants are pretty hardy when it comes to moving, maybe wilt a little, but they will be lovely I am sure, with some tlc.
You are quite right, the time between someone passing and the funeral, if a rather surreal experience. I wills end some hugs ((()))
Hi Joan, Mum and Dad, well, we found out that Mum and Dad had been to the Drs and then been to hospital for umpteen hours on Wed afternoon, not getting home until after 9pm. Mum has an abcess in a "tender" area, so she had to have that drained and is on antibiotics. She was shattered.
We collected them today, for our trip out for coffee and scones, she was ok, walking a bit gingerly, but managing.
Hope you and Sue and the doggies are all ok. How is your foot feeling?
I am sure you will look after the roses very well Toni, plants know when someone cares about them I am sure.
Ohh, choir practice, hope it went well, singing on Sunday, exciting. Was Barbara singing too? :?
How is Charley's puskin? Oh dear, the poor fish, have your treatments worked - not heard of peeled peas treatment.
Oh Barbara, what are you doing, naughty crutch, sending lots of hugs and wellness, for the bruising to go away and any pain to stop. It is horrid when you fall. I don't think there is a graceful tumble.
Don't leave the wrist too long, if you think there is something amiss, even if it is a soft tissue problem, it is worth checking out. They might pop a support on, backslab or similar.
I am sure you did see Pepe and Miss Sleek, galloping along on the donkeys No wonder Pepe was full of the joys. All that sea air.
We probably had the same storm as you did, as it drifted inland. It was flashing good and proper.
So you have used the sinus rinse Toni, it is rather alarming to say the least   I think a fair few goes before some relief is felt, if the sinuses are quite congested. Glad you made it through. :?
You have to wait until the end of September to see the Consultant, that's quite a way off. I cannot see the sinus wash doing any harm, it is only saline and bicarb, which are pretty innocuous. The main thing is keeping things as super clean as possible.
You had a big storm too, rattling the timbers. Miss Sleek was telling Pepe over the broomphone today, she said the sky was exploding
Hi Carol, yep, you and I loose so many hours and days, we need to gather some back from the secret garden. It is nearly the week end again.......where did the week go?
I am glad to hear that your sewing machine is up and running as it should be
the cruise countdown has begun, wonderful, how many days now? We can all count with you
Good to hear that the Emu's are being more sociable, with the grapes and apples, I will take a stash with me when I pop in.
I think the Bush babies are sharing their affections with Kath and also Barbara, who is nursing her bruises and ouches, after descending the steps far quicker than she intended
The Patronal ceremony is certainly an ancient custom, how lovely. I think Barbara is having some lessons and will be singing in the background.
You take care of that wrist Barbara, no delaying, if you are at all worried. Matron speaking Good job we bounce a bit
We all went to the GC for our coffee and scones, as mentioned, Mum was a little tender with her abcess, which is no surprise. The scones, (which are not cooked in house and very large) were a little undercooked and mine had to go back and be replaced   shocked I was, shocked.............
Mum has to go back to Gynae today, for a check up on her abcess, bless, as if she hasn't enough to contend with.
B is busy away with more making of jewellery. Neighbour over the way called in and paid for the bracelet and necklace she had ordered a little while back, she was thrilled with them and said she will tell her DIL to come over at the week end to look, when they are over here.
Phew, I think I am up to date. I had better post soon, after several potterings.
Puskins are ok, Pepe has been chirruping with Miss Sleek on their broom video link, the weather is looking pretty horrid for today, so maybe no flying. I am sure it is rumbling with thunder again.
To all, sending hugs, Christine, hope you are resting and catching up with yourself a little. Kerrin, so far away, having a good time with family. Charrisse, have you managed to get out and about to your knitting group.
Kath, hoping you are not too ouchy, the bush babies are flitting between your good self and Barbara.
Elizabeth, sending hugs to you all ((()))
Take lots of care XXXXX Aidan
A snack for breakfast
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
A croissant and some fruit for me please Aidan thank you very much
Miss Sleek loves riding pillion she says Pep is a good and safe pilot now and she trusts him. The thunder was amazing wasn't it - pig ears too here - I am not surprised she was on the broomstick telephone to tell him!
I met a neighbour's cat yesterday who was VERY vocal to say the least. She is tiny! and 13 years of age. I am pretty sure she flies you know I thought I saw a broomstick hidden behind the wheelie bins.
Well Jericat will not book her theory until she is sure her Mum is home :? She may as well wait she'll get a cancellation pretty quickly when we know she is home.
So the bracelets are done for now so it's stockpiling necklaces now? Of course we must be super careful with glass with their delicate paws and no slippers on, but WHY WHY??? must they come to see what's happened??
Poor poor Mum  I am sure she will be feeling better than she did now it's been drained and the antibotics have kicked in.
I often think the internet plays up when the weather is extreme you know. I will not mention it again.
As for choir practise. It went well and I rather thing Barbara was there :? She will insist on trying to reach those top notes I wonder whether she will come to the patronal ceremony on Sunday evening? :?
The sinus rinse was proper scary, but I'm sure it will become 2nd nature. I think Kath uses a neti which is similar, but gravity fed, this has some power. It reminds me of swimming as a child and getting water in your nose :?
I tried it too and the Emus are fine one even took a grape out of my hand    Just take fruit as a treat.
Joan I do enjoy choir thank you and Charley's puss is fine she just needs to be on low-does steroids now indefinitely so has to be checked up on every 3 months bless her. I hope all is well with you, Sue and the dogs.
Barbara yes the neilmed 'jets' the solution up your hooter and down the other side. How often should I use it do you think? 2/3 times a day?
Keep up the singing lessons I have acquired one of the choir scarves for you for Sunday's ceremony if you want to come?
Rightyho onwards and upwards!
Love to everyone

Afternoon all
Toni I use the netti pot when I remember.this is when I get the headache and earache with it ..I was told twice a day ...when I had the scan it showed infection that was getting trapped up there..I do wonder if this is the cause of some of your migraines..think I might look our for the powered one..tipping my head back and sideways is not an option some days.. I did try the top mote but everyone stopped to look..so I sneaked out the side door.. .
Aiden your poor mum must have been in agony bless her..I do hope the ABs do there job and she has no more trouble..and thankyou for the hugs..so B is doing the necklaces now ..he should have lots of stock to go at we went to the walk in center ..we only waited 40 mins think it was because were were there early..he had a look and ask how I went done ..and because I cant rotate it or or lift anything he wanted it xrayed..so off we go ...he had a look at the xrays and it seemed fine but ask me to back on Monday to make sure..and then strapped it up but I have to take it off now and then..sorry I'm rambling here..so the scones weren't cooked through ..hopefully with you sending it back they will take note
Our eldest GD is coming for the weekend,,,we haven't seen her for months so really looking forward..her dad will pick her up form the station..then back to London Sunday afternoon ..her GF cant make it..such a shame..she has really poorly knees, I think I said eh was born with no kneecaps..
Right a cuppa and a slice of fudge cake...
Love to everyone xxxxxxxLove
Barbara0 -
Afternoon to all - I know, look at me, here at 2.30 in the afternoon
Hope you enjoyed the fruit and croissants Toni
That is nice to hear, that Miss Sleek has her trust in Pepe with his flying skills, bless them. I think he nipped out early morning, the broom was still warm and fizzing.
I do like a good storm, pig ears all round then, especially if it rattles the windows.
Ah, 13 years old, lovely little puskins, noisy too I am sure there are more puskins with broomsticks than we realise.
Jericat will wait for Mum to come back, I think Miss Sleek was wondering about a transportation spell, but they used it the other day. Pepe rang Hogwarts but Mr Potter was in another dimension and could not come to the phone. :?
B is out just trimming the dead heads from the buddleiah and roses, tidying up a bit, picking things up that had blown over last night when it was lashing down with rain.
Then he will be back to some more necklaces.
He had finished another anklet for the neighbour opposite, she is thrilled with it
Puskins just love to see what is going on, if they hear you doing something in another room, or hear something drop, or smash, they are there  Tosca loves it if we clear out a cupboard, she thinks we are on the move
Mum will have been back to the Gynae ward, so we will ring later and see how that went. The AB's will be working now, so hopefully she feels a bit better now.
So Barbara was hitting, or nearly hitting, the high notes, was it the same note as everyone else? I am sure she will come to the ceremony on Sunday, she will conceal herself in one of the choir stalls.
Sinus washes are pretty scary to being with, you think you are going to drown and yes it is a bit like being thrown in the swimming pool. Mind you, that is just water, which causes the burning sensation, hence the addition of saline and bicarb etc. I remember we had to pass naso gastric tubes on each other when we were training, oh boy was that a teaching session to remember you have never heard so much heaving   :? :?
I think twice a day, but not too late at night, so any residue has time to drain, with gentle "blowing" of the nose.
Good to hear that Charlie pus is ok and will be feeling better on the low dose steroids.
I see Barbara will be wearing one of the choir scarves for Sunday, promotion there Barbara
Hi Barbara, I am sure Mum will be feeling a bit better after another check up on Gynae today and the AB's will have started to work.
No worries, the hugs are always free and the bush babies are always on hand, just rattle the biscuit tin and they will be there in a flash.
Good to hear that you went to the walk in center. Best to have it checked and see that there is no obvious damage or fracture. Is it swollen at the moment? Hence the reason they want you to pop back in on Monday, as swelling can often hide tiny hairline cracks.
Yes, take the strapping off every now and then, just in case it swells some more. Arnica by the gallon
We will keep a very close eye on the scones, another "almost cooked" one and I will be seeking out the maker of scones in the kitchens
I hope you have a lovely week end with your eldest GD, lots to catch up with and G dad will take her back and forth, he is a love. A shame her GF cannot come, I do remember you mentioning her poorly legs and knees. I will send her some special hugs ((()))
Hoping that everyone else is as ok as can be. Kerrin, Carol, Joan, Mig, Elizabeth, Christine, Charrisse and all.
I thought I might be writing this from a hospital bed. I had very bad angina early morning, used the GTN, once, no better, twice, no better, third time I was thinking right, enough, lets have the ambulance, but the third sprays seemed to work and I went back to sleep. It was pretty scary, unstable angina is horrid.
So today, I am banned from doing anything that might trigger it again, just relaxing and gentle pottering.
Right, I will do a little more pottering, let me see what I can find in the cake department......Take lots of care all. XXXX Aidan
Some mini black forest cakes
Or this cake, if you prefer
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Barbara I wonder too...there must be something on the CT else I would have just had a letter saying there was nothing on it I think.
I have managed two rinses today  Getting better at it. It's like a squeezy bottle with the same stuff in and you just gently gush it up your hooter and it comes down the other side :?
I will do a 3rd in a bit. It's easy enough on my neck so worth a try.
I KNEW that was you and I was blaming one of the 'sopranos'
Sorry GD's gf couldn't make it, but all the more GD for you
Hi Aidan Look at you in at a civilised hour and with CAKE of all things I have had 3 of the chocolate ones with cherries on top (remember Trisher used to say that? ) Thank you very much.
I am so very glad to hear you got that vile angina attack under control. My Mum's was unstable too so I have experienced it from B's side it is too scary. Take care today won't you?
I promise faithfully not to do the sinuses too late don't want to drown in my sleep :? . Earlier I could almost breathe out of my nose Only for about 1/2 an hour but that is the first time for YEARS!!
It doesn't sting as much as the pool, (that is the saline if I understood you correctly?), but the feeling of drowning is there right enough!! I hope in a week or so it will be easy-peasy
Barbara's attempt at the top note was a little like fingernails on a chalk board??? Shh!! don't tell her will you - the lessons might help. She should drop down an octave like I do if she can't get up there.
If we clean out a cupboard Daisycat is straight in  same for empty 'new' boxes Does her nails in them
The storm brought some soot down the chim-ley ( )
They can have another transportation spell anyway if they are patient can't they? One a month each isn't it? I hope Mr Potter doesn't get irritated by them on the phone :? Thye are impatient with not being able to fly in this dreadful weather much
Yes Jericat is waiting for her Mum and then going to take her theory first day she can I think we need to see some photos of Jericat and Tomcat don't you? Pepe and Diddicat are often on skype to them, but so far they have only appeared in silhouette.....
I hope Mum is reporting that she is much more comfortable now. really comfortable not like they say in hospital when you've only just survived the night
I haven't been able to garden so far today sadly too wet. I am cat-sitting for Charley's puss and Lucy is at a wedding. Paul is at car-fest so I am now alone as Tia is with her bf.
No rest yet though incase I have to rescue Lucy after the 'do'.
B is making people happy with his jewels The neighbour has another anklet and necklace-making continues.
Right I am off for another rinse :? wish me luck
Love

Evening All
Have just popped in to see what has been going on with everyone today.
Toni The visit to see the little people and the big people in Margate is the first week in September. Mr T and I have our 2 week cruise coming up first in just 8 days time. and 2 weeks just about in September Mr T is off to Holy island for a week and I am off to Margate for a week . Hope the choir do well on Sunday. I'm sure they will. the Emus are very easily pleased friendly even if we give them fruit. they are a bit like the bushbabies feed them and your ok.
Barbara Its good that they don't think the wrist is broken but he is right to ask you to go back on Monday as for a recheck as any Fracture can be masked by swelling and not show up on an xray to start with, hopefully you have good news on Monday. Yes church meal was good.
Joan yes the weeks disappear so quickly it's a case of blink and its gone.
Aidan yes we loose to many hours don't we there were loads of them in the summer house when I popped in so I've claimed some back for us will send you some. fruit is definitely the way to go with the Emus they were friendly even when I delivered some fruit to them earlier. The cruise is now just 8 days away now. as far as the week is concerned I think we blinked and it went reckon it was those mischievous puskins using there magic again. hope mum is feeling a bit better. the black forest cake were delicious .
had the usual Friday dinner out with Mr T then met friend for coffee so a reasonably good day yesterday evening meal with church was ok the last one until September. and then tomorrow open day at the church the last one until September too. teddy finished just needs assembling now and dress nearly finished.
Must move from this chair or I will get stuck in it the bones are complaining all the lovelies in the zoo are happily getting on with their life. had a little ride around earlier delivering them some food the bushbabies are on the loose again so some one has nice things to eat or needs a cuddle.
night night all sweet dreams. sfl0 sfl2 sfl0Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Evening and almost morning to all.
I know Toni, cake, at the right time, well, I was early  to our surprise. Three of the black forest mini cakes, very nice. Indeed I do remember we had to save the cake with the cherry on top for Trisher. Bless her heart. We had some lovely chats.
I was getting a bit panicked with the angina, everything goes through your mind at once. My pulse was all over the shop. SO glad it calmed and has been ok through today. I often get angina when I am resting. My Cardio explained it too me, on more than one occasion, but it always went over my head. :? Something to do with the spasticity of the artery walls........yep, that's what I thought too.
No, we don't want you wallowing in saline at night Being able to breathe through your nose, is a good sign, albeit short lived. Let's hope is gets better each day.
The hosp will want to go through whatever they have seen, maybe small windows, congestion, narrowed passages...
Barbara was going for the big money note, like Whitney when she goes annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, will always love you..........Not quite sure Barbara was in the right key :? :? .
Fingers on a chalk board, eeeeeeeek, or on galvanised sheets of metal   No, I won't say a thing.
Talking of puskins and nails, Mother and Cookie have had theirs trimmed down today, they were tip tapping on the hall floor and catching on things. Cookie is fine, Mother grumbles, but is ok - Pepe, well, maybe today, I have to wear Kevlar body armour and thick gardening gloves
You had a fall of soot as well, oh dear, hope it didn't make a mess :?
Yes, they can have another transportation spell. Hermione passed on a message from Mr Potter, that they can have another spell on Tuesday, when they use it, is up to them. If it is used and considered to be of great help or kindness, then another spell will be issued immediately and so it goes on - how cool is that.
We do need pictures of Jericat and Tomicat, I am sure Mum will put some on for us when she gets home from far distant places. They were all on a conference call while we were napping, woke me up with all the chattering.
Mum is feeling more comfortable, not hurting as much and they are pleased with the progress, need to see her in a weeks time. So that is good.
I know, we always said patients were comfortable or had a good night (when they hadn't slept a wink, because we were clattering about) :?
and You have been all on your lonesome, with the puskins. Everyone else out and about. It certainly has not been gardening weather. It poured it down this evening for about 5 hours, stopped now, but we can hear the streams in the woods.
B has run out of wire, the stronger wire, 1mm, also jump rings are nearly all gone. Another 1000 or two on order along with meters of wire.
Hope the rinsing is going ok....................
Hi Joan Thank you, mum is feeling a lot better and the pain of the abcess is easing off, which is good.
Hope you managed to get out, with less rain to keep you indoors.
Hi Carol, so, we are on 8 days and counting, well, 7 now, as it is Saturday Lots to look forward to, the cruise and then off to Margate for family cuddles.
Thanks for gathering some spare hours from the summer house, I will keep them in the sideboard drawer, they are always needed.
Glad the Church meal was good, the meal out with Mr T also and then coffee with your friend - hope she was in an amiable mood.
Last Church open day today, will send some vibes for people to stop by.
Looking forward to seeing Teddy, when assembled and clothed.
I am with you on bones complaining when sat, goodness knows how many times I am up and down, when I do my post, no wonder it takes so long
I have a feeling the Bush babies are with Kath and then with Barbara. I have not seen them in a few days, so treats are in good supply and cuddles are needed.
I will take some fruit to the Emu's. The Llamas and Alpaca's look very smart now they have been shaun. Some of the knitting is done, so if anyone needs some waterproof jumpers etc.
The meerkats are not at all happy with water falling from the sky. the roof was not quite shut, so some of their sand was wet, much to their horror. All closed now.
The warthogs are up to their tusks in mud, with all the rain, they think it is wonderful  bless. Tapir's, Okapi's, seals, Giraffes, lambs, cows, sloths, Blush, are all doing well. The super vets are on this week end, tooth check and routine health checks.
Ho to Christine, Kerrin, Elizabeth, Kath, Mig, Charrisse, sending hugs in abundance.
It must be n night time. Let me go see.
Many Blessings, everyone take care.
And for breakfast today we have - lemon and blueberry waffles
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Morning everyone
Hello Joan I'm off to feed Charley's pussycat again this morning she is away for the weekend. Got some chunky pieces of cooked chicken to hide her steroid in
Gosh Carol that cruise has come round quickly  are you all ready for it? Won't that be lovely.
Then Holy Island (him) and visiting for you September. I'm sure you are going to the right place of the two it will be lovely visiting the GKs and GGKs too
Yes the key to a calm Emu is through her belly Then they are as soft as the bush-babies. I have a bad feeling that Pepe and Miss Sleek would like a ride on an Emu's back :?
Once Teddy's dress is finished will you post her photo on Fbook?
Lemon and blueberry waffles Aidan - thank you The butterfly blessing is lovely too.
I bet you were starting to panic with that vile angina attack....is B good in a crisis? Do you 'plug yourself' into a BP monitor while it's going on? I used to with my Mum to hopefully see her heart rate and BP settling as it ekes away. I hope it's a very long time before you have another ((()))
Comfortable? :? Nah
By windows do you mean in my sinuses??? Are they holes?? Probably my fault for not having the window cleaner then
that bit of air was most welcome albeit short-lived.
Now you mention it Barbara might have been doing a Whitney!!
I am glad to hear Cookie and Tosca have had their nails done, but do not envy you doing Pepe's :? Full body armour eh and gardening gloves...the type you need for thorns?
Miss Sleek keeps hers under control outside.
Now I know what was going on with her!!! She ADORES Hermione!! Gosh did she speak to her? She has been so over-exited! I thought it was missing Lucy who was out at a wedding yesterday and came home a tiny bit tiddly...good on her, but not drunk
Good to hear they can 'earn' extra transportation spells. That might make them think twice about using them will-nilly.
Hopefully when Jericat's Mum (according to Lucy she calls her Mummy..shh!!) gets home she will post us a photo of her and Tomcat That conference-call was loud!! Still it's good that Pepe and Diddicat can keep them company while Mum is away.
How lovely that you can hear the stream!! Really lovely The rain was certainly heavy
Let's hope Mum is definitely on the mend now.
B has run out of wire?? Oh dear. No doubt more is on order or can be collected (at a price) from hobbycraft.
Today we are busy. Cat sitting for me as well as fetching two cut glass decanters and Paul has football and a couple from the village want us to recce a nearby beer festival with them for tips for ours next year.
My boiled and filtered water is cooling ready for another rinse :?
Love to everyone

Morning all - thought I would grab a moment while we are waiting for Mum n Dad.
They are having their hair cuts and then we will have croissants. It is their 60th wedding anniversary this coming week.
The butterfly was lovely and of course the lemon waffles.
I wasn't in too much of a panic, in fact I didn't shout for B the other night. I would have done, if the third sprays had done nothing. We do have a BP monitor but I am not convinced it is any good, it is only a wrist one. Last night was a better one, thank goodness.
No, comfortable doesn't wash with me, so I fire nursey questions at them
Yep the windows in your sinuses, they can be widened ( don't ask me how, because I cannot tell you ) :? :? The air would be lovely I am sure, it is horrid being permanently bunged so to speak.
I think Barbara was doing a Whitney or a Celine Dion. Or a combination of them both.
Yes, I am sure Hermione spoke to them all, on the conference call, telling them about the spells of transportation and issuing strong guidelines as to their use. That will be why the conference call was so loud, all the excitement. Pepe has been giddy this morning, charging about, just because he can. Gliding, shouting..............
Glad Lucy enjoyed the "do". Tiddly is ok, drunk is not as ok.
We have three streams around us, in the woods, they will all be racing away. They are in very deep gullies. The river will be high today and tomorrow we are having thunder storms apparently. BIL and SIL coming over to see Mum n Dad, then pop round here for cakes in the afternoon.
You do have a busy day, take care, steady away
Oh I see you have another rinse - :?
Are you having a hair cut as well today??
No umbrella stand then Barbara - we don't mind it being cooler though, so keep buying the sun screen I think we are in for a pretty wet week.
No, don't quit the choir, record some of the songs that are being sung, then lip sync to them
I think you will have to go with Toni to have those windows opened up
Thank you for the hugs, they are very welcome You do kind of wait with bated breath.
No, it is fine telling a nurse to be careful, we are terrible patients and rarely take our own medicine.
That would be very kind, B will be most grateful if you are parting with supplies
Mum is feeling better, just arrived for hair cuts, chatting away in kitchen with B
Better move, Dad will be here any minute, so will post. Everyone take lots of care, will pop in before T time.
Love to all. XX Aidan sfl sfl2XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
A quick sit down with a cuppa so thought I'd pop in
Barbara I agree with you don't give up choir just mime. I have saved you a choir scarf for tomorrow just wear black.
Your poor wrist! it really does sound sore I hope it eases over the coming days.
I have another jug of water cooling ready for the 2nd rinse of the day :? Come on and join in. If my windows need widening your must definitely!! I'll hold your hand while they (better!) put us out :?
The wedding was yesterday and Lucy had a lovely time able to dance with her arms up how great is that?
I bet you are loving looking after your GD.
Aidan I am not having my hair cut no, but odd that Mum and Dad are having theirs done just when I found the little man!!
60th anniversary eh? I hope B isn't 61??? My Dad always used to knock a year or two off to tease my older sister! Congratulations to them
Comfortable doesn't wash with me either since I was allegedly 'comfortable'. Do they think we were born yesterday??
I am glad last night was better and that even the night before you didn't rouse B. I think you were hoping you'd get things under control and you did. I bet you had a headache after all that GTN
Bless there little paws all of them being star-struck by Hermione Granger!! Diddi adores her She came over early today as the weather here had settled. She can't go too many days without seeing her beloved
3 streams is fabulous what a great spot you are in! Nothing like the sound of water is there ?we have no water apart from my pond here, but many cows and horses etc
Hope everyone is having a good day.
I do not fancy visiting a beer festival this afternoon. I shall drive and not drink.
Love

My apologies, I completely forgot to pop back with afternoon tea, how remiss of me.  Brain like a sieve.
Toni will have had the second rinse of the day, any breathing through the nose today?
I am sure Barbara will come with you while they fit new windows. Some people can have a general, some have a local, the ones I have seen have all been done under local. :? Apart from that I know nothing.
Way to go Lucy, waving those arms when dancing, how great is that
It was strange when you put the emoticon up with the scissors and them mum n dad came in for their hair cut.
LOL no, Bill is under 61, definitely. Thank you for the congratulations, they had a card from Her Majesty today, wishing them happy 60th Anniversary. B's Brother organised it, as long as you apply, with proof etc, then the Queen sends a card. How cool. A card, from the Palace.
We used to tell relatives more, if their loved one had been in hospital a while and we knew who was on the phone, but if it was someone we didn't know, then they were comfortable. I remember having the press ring up, pretending to be relatives. How dare they.
I am not too bad with the GTN spray, it makes your feel flushed. One of the angio's I had, they pushed IV GTN, straight into my main artery, boy, that was an instant headache
Pepe was missing for a little while this morning, so I am assuming that Miss Sleek had popped over. The weather has not been too bad at all. Miss Slimkins was talking about Hermione and how wonderful her magic is.
It is nice to hear the streams, they soon quieten down to a trickle, then roar away after a lot of rain. You have to walk to the edges of the BIG drop, to see them :? I don't do big drops.........
We can hear cows sometimes, from the farms around and about and horses, there are stables further up the road and the big house nearby has horses in their paddock, as you do. 8)
How was the visit to the beer festival? I read you were not particularly looking forward to it.
Hi Joan, you Dr has gone away for a long time, 15 week cruise, wow, what an adventure that will be. I hope you have other Drs who are just as good as your own. 15 weeks, they won't be back until November
Yes Mum was feeling a lot easier, the AB's are working well.
Hi Barbara, yes, I am doing ok thank you kindly. Just forgetting to pop the cakes in........  I think we will need to do rock, paper scissors, to see who goes in to the ENT Dr first. I will be there under the cape, with everyone else, as and when. Hope your wrist is not too painful, I am sure the bruises are a variety of purples and blues. ((()))
We have BIL and SIL coming today, after lunch, for cakes and T, along with Mum n Dad. Then Monday, the plumber who fitted the boiler is coming to change all the taps to the easy lift up ones, rather than the standard ones, I find them very difficult. That will be an early start, he will be here by 0830.
Kath I hope you are ok hun, sending hugs and bush babies along, in case there are bad ouches.
Kerrin will be enjoying her time away
Carol is on countdown, 6 days now I think.
Christine I hope is recovering now and less fatigued.
I have had a drive round the sanctuary, carrying lots of fruit and cereals and goodies, the Emu's were very polite, while eating their food.
The chickens are still laying well. I think they are collected by the people who make the afternoon cakes
Most of the lovelies are resting in their houses. The owls are hooting and blush is busy in the bamboo somewhere. The bush babies were there, but now they are gone, so cuddles must be needed.
The warthogs are snoring, bless :?
Right, I had better have another potter around. Tramadol time and cup of T. Has a certain ring to it, Tea and Tramadol please........
Take care everyone, n night all.
And breakfast nibbles

Morning All
Joan your Dr is very lucky being able to have 15 weeks off work, but imagine!! How wonderful
Barbara I will happily go first as I am not listening to what is happening. I will try to get us both banged out
Morning Aidan thank you for asking I did have another bit of air through my hooter yesterday short-lived again but definitely there
OMgosh look at those pastries.....thank you and the little mouse is adorable
It is lovely that Lucy can dance properly again isn't it! I am so pleased.
General anaesthetic for me and Barbara and I hope they don't damage our wallpaper! :?
How lovely to get a card from the Queen I doubt we will make it...not unless we get to 100 2nd marriage for us two. Under 61 is he then? Lucky B My Dad was naughty
I know - what a coincidence I just found him, the emoticon and liked him I thought it might be you pinching B's scissors and pretending to be a qualified stylist!!
I suppose 'comfortable' is safe for those who you can't verify are genuine. I wouldn't want you telling the press much about me. Outrageous they are :x
Gosh GTN straight in the artery?   I can imagine that would be bad    I wonder whether the headache makes some people hesitate before taking their GTN.
Yes indeed Miss Slimkins was with Pepe gosh! she is totally star-struck, but so is he a little bless him They are flying to Jericat and Tomcat's today Pepe flying, Miss S pillion then he will have his air-miles they are sure. They so want to do their advanced test together
They have been playing croquet from their broomsticks here in the garden (not in the right order, but no matter) ready for the vole quidditch part. I'm sure I have another pane of glass out of the greenhouse :?
I think OUR beer fest in the village was far better though they had 70 beers    it was very geeky and not so nice as ours was
Had some lovely wines though not that I was able to do more than sip at them. We went for a curry with 2 couples from the village.
We often have cows in the back field and horses in the side one. Its lovely to hear them isn't it?
Shame the stream will go quiet, but better than it flooding I suspect.
So THE plumber is back eh? B better keep an eye on you
I hope you all enjoy your family get together this afternoon.
The eggs are all used yes that our girls lay. No harm done and totally free range. So much so one was in with Blush earlier
Emus are getting used to us or we are to them. Phew!!!
Missing a few of our regulars ETM and hope very much all is well.
Love

Morning all
Not a bad open morning at church yesterday although we only had 2 ladies who came into the church I managed to sell 7 of my cards to one of the ladies, and one of our church members has a painting hobby and he sold her one of his paintings. so good all round. I cannot go to the church this morning as we have no buses running up the main road near us, as the ride London bike ride takes place today so road is closed and the buses cannot be diverted as the only roads they can be diverted to are also closed. and I can't walk to the railway station so its a day at home for me today.
Aidan Yes 6 days to hols now we travel down to Southampton on Saturday. the warthogs do love the mud don't they. so the meerkats are not are not impressed by the wet sand oh dear. The Angina must be quite frightening I would imagine glad you are feeling a bit better now.
Toni yes only a couple of odd toiletry bits and pieces to get and washing to keep up to date until we go and of course pack. looking forward to it very much. and i'm with you there think I do
have the better place of the two in September. cannot wait to see all my big and little people again. Teddy will go on face book when
finished. Miss Sleek and Pepe would love a ride i'm sure but do Emus like puskins.
Barbara Hope the hospital trip is good news on Monday and nothing is broken I will be in your pocket and if I can catch a bush baby i'll bring one along to give you cuddles after.
Joan wow 15 weeks on a cruise I would love that but the price must be really high.
I must move now complaining bones will pop in again soon. sfl sfl2 sfl0Stay positive always👍xx0 -
