Oh dear! I hope you can sort out the missing parcel Barbara :?

Maybe we should send the cats up to fetch the knickers?? Mind you Diddicat would just laugh and take photos

Your neighbour's ex is a sneaky one isn't he? So long as she is ok now and warm enough. The kids will remember all this you know.

Your singing is really good now I am very impressed :D

We had to give 1/3 for our keep save 1/3 and could spend 1/3. Paul's family treated him exactly the same. It teaches you the value of money and prepares you for the future doesn't it?

There we were, enjoying breakfast beneath the gazebo, when 2 pairs of knickers flew by, each with large s***er dangling from it. I don't think anyone noticed. :o

Our son has decided he'd like to talk to us again on FB. I don't mind, life's too short.

    Mexican Omelette - don't mind if I do. :D

Our new BT hub arrived today. can't use it until Thursday though. Dreading setting the printer up again. :?

Afternoon to all, Saturday has vanished into the shed   I will have to reply later on, jaded now, with a super sore throat. Just what I need, never mind, it will go.

Miss Sleek said she and Pepe are going to gather the knickers, when they go our next time, they will take big nets, to grab them :lol::wink:

I had better not forget afternoon T. Catch you all later, take lots of care. XX Aidan

Belgian truffle chocolate cake :) Mmmmm...thanks Aidan :)

The cats had a great time visiting Jericat and Tomicat this afternoon Miss Sleek is full of it but very tired. Those transportation spells take it out of them.

I hope they can get some energy to rescue those drawers

I hope your sore throat turns out to be nothing serious and not the start of a cold :?

Kath I am glad your son has asked to talk to you again on FB. Life can be too short and your DIL is doing ok and happy now isn't she?

You aren't the type to bear grudges are you?

Oh my goodness not some of my knickers?  there are still some up the tree though can you bin them please Kath :?

I'll have an aussie sausage roll while watching the X factor thanks :)

    Love to everyone

Evening to everyone. Finally, a moment to relax and do our thing, me, tapping away, then pottering, then tapping................B busy with his jewellery, cats all enjoying the fire.

Hi Joan, it has been all sorts of weathers the past 24 hours, sunny, then it poured with rain, sunshine today, then heavy showers, lots of leaves starting to fall.
Hope you both wrapped up warm if you were out and about and that the heating is doing what it should.

Hi Toni, Yes, mum did very well yesterday. We went round in the afternoon today when BIL and SIL came over. She was quite tired and didn't really say a lot, (difficult for anyone to, with SIL in full swing) :?  We stayed a little while then wandered slowly back home.

We didn't dwell on the cooker, I think the timer button had been pressed by mistake, which means it won't work, until the timer is set.
I think it did them both good to be away from each other for a while to be honest.

I am sure youngsters would want at least a£1000 per month. No, nurses pay should not have been capped at 1%, might as well not bother really. My NHS pension has not increased for a few years now, not that it ever went up a lot. But a little would be nice.

Yes, Miss Sleek has levitated the Sulpha and put it away in the cupboard. She is getting a dab paw at her spells. I think the next time they are investigating in the ravine, she might catonise him, or try, to get him to like the vets. (good Luck Miss Diddicat).:lol:

He was asking me why his paw might drop off - so Miss Sleek has been nattering. I said, don't worry, all your paws are fine, we didn't want to discuss your recent "events". He was fine with that.

Tomorrow / today, Niece and her partner are coming over to see Nan. They won't be here until mid afternoon. I bet Mum will be quite tired tomorrow.

So Lucy is on a night out, with her admirer ?? Pepe will get the crystal ball out and check :)

They did go to london while we were napping and had a good time, the treats were very welcome from Miss Sleeks back pack. Tomicat and Jericat are cool cats.

I didn't see any knickers in the trees this evening, maybe they have moved on

Barbara was singing very well, excellent, the spells of tunefulness have helped considerably. The auto tune mic is there, just in case she drops a note

Speak of the Lady and there she is. Hi Barbara

Posting before lunch, way to go. We were still playing catch up, I did the ironing, which was winding me up, shirts mounting up. Glad they are done. Litter tray all done and bleached, beds all done, washing and drying..........phew. enough already.

Glad I reminded you for the Birthday. It is Sunday, next doors Birthday, there was me shouting Happy Birthday out of the window. Ooops, wrong day, sorry :lol: Senior moment.

I am on spider guard, along with Pepe, who is on listening duties. I have sprayed any little gaps, not that it stops them getting in, they just APPEAR.
I tried to get Pepe to cast an anti spider spell, but it was not allowed, apparently not for the greater good. Really, I beg to differ.

I think Toni's bloomers have moved on. I cannot see them in the trees.

Miss Sleek and Pepe were going to get them down with their nets. Maybe they are in the ravine? :animal_busy: he is napping at the moment, I will ask him later.

I am sure your neighbours "Ex" is very clever indeed, making things difficult to prove. What an unpleasant individual. As long as the Solicitor is aware of everything he is doing.

the tube bomb was terrible, thank goodness it did not detonate properly, as it was packed with nails. Doesn't bear thinking about.

I am glad they have arrested someone and houses are being searched. Close to where B grew up.

I hope the parcel you sent to your GD arrives in time, tell the PO off, signed for is usually next day.

It's ok Toni, the knickers have gone, they are in the ravine, Pepe said the wood fairies and nymphs have made new roof tops out of the silk   (they are tiny fairies, honest)

Hi Kath, so you saw the bloomers, in passing, what a shock, when you were sat under the gazebo, enjoying your breakfast, they had spiders on them, oh my. It's a good job they are now put to good use for the wood fairies.

That is good to hear, your Son wanting to talk on FB, as you say, life here is short in the grand scheme of things.

Having to wait until Thursday to use the new router, I would be trying at one minute past midnight on Thursday morning :)

Those aussie sausage rolls look mighty good, I will try a few, thank you.

I am hoping that the bad throat does not creep and turn into a chest infection, (as normally happens  ) It is a bit like swallowing crushed glass at the moment, but it will go I am sure. I keep having a nosey, to make sure they are no septic areas.

I see Miss Sleek is busy being wistful sitting on the moon, bless her, Pepe will be chatting in the night I am sure.

Hope you had a good day and that Lucy is not too late / early in.

I had better move and have a potter. Everyone stay safe. Hi to Carol, Christine, Kerrin, Mig, Charrisse and all

    Love XXX Aidan

Morning :)Barbara I think Miss S was waiting for her beloved :) She has missed him this week while he has had a 'poorly paw' ;)

More of my knickers?! Luckily I do have plenty. Given their size I have to buy them in 'bulk'

    Good morning Aidan :)

Thank you for the breakkie it was/is lovely and the flower piccie too - Have a lovely Sunday yourself. :)

I am the same when my throat is sore poking around with mirror and torch  I hope things are a bit better??

Lucy was in at 4am c/o her friend's bf who dropped tem both off here. I slept after they were both settled. Gave both sick bowls just incase  They were tiddly!!

I don't want any knickers back with spiders on them anyway  I am glad the wood-nymphs have made good use of them. They are virtually bullet-proof

Sp**er spells aren't for the good?? Very odd...I asked Sleek to explain and she said: "Sp**ders are peeples too"

I did my ironing yesterday too and promptly made some more

    Bleaches litters? all good :)

The night out was without lads - girls night only :) (Apart from lifts home of course!!)

Aw bless Pepe worrying about his paw dropping off....He really does worry bless him. He understood that none of us wanted to embarrass him though :) the tunefullness was definitely for the greater good   trust me

The levitating spell has really come in handy hasn't it? Putting tablets out for reach, scaring me and you etc. I hope, but strongly doubt, Miss Slimkins can catonise Pepe reading the vets :?

It is good to hear Mum is doing well. She probably only listens with BIL and SIL there anyway ;) Niece and partner will be over today I see....I hope Mum copes ok.

All pensions have been rubbish while the interest rates have been so low for so long. I am worried about people buying houses now having a shock when they go up to a more normal rate :?

A quick Hello! To Joan who should be along soon a010.gif I have the heating on now - how about you?

    Love to everyone else

Knickers and spiders duly binned. Haven't a clue how they got in the ravine. :o Doesn't Diddy look wonderful sitting on the moon. I hope Pepe didn't keep her waiting too long.

Do they use Kangaroo meat in the Aussie sausage rolls. Just a thought.

What a delightful thought Aidan, cats around the fire.

Thanks for binning the knickers :?

Look at those pusskins warming their paws :)

Barbara I can do the slope on Lucy's old scooter, but it needs practise it seems steep :?

I do have plenty of drawers yes so feel free to use them as dusters and the nymphs as rooves.

Much happier once Lucy is home I always am :)

I am glad the neighbour is getting sorted and hope on 26h the judge will shame him:(

Joan a black and white telly?? How fabulous I bet everyone was jealous :D

Evening to all - a pleasant and quite warm day here.

Throat is almost unbearable, the last time is was like this I had glandular fever  Unlikely it is that, as you don't normally get it twice. Besides, I haven't been kissing strangers
I will be phoning the surgery this morning.............

Hi Toni, unfortunately not better, not able to eat anything much, ice cream and dunked rich tea, that's about it. Keeping an eye on my Blood Sugars too, with not eating

Breakfast did look good, I will enjoy it when I am back to munching :)

I hope Lucy and her friend had a good time, sounds like it, being a little tipsy - hic. Bowls at the ready, best to be prepared but hopefully not needed. Kind of the friends BF to drop them off safely.

The wood nymphs are very happy with the new roof tops. They have used the spare bits as trampolines apparently  Being bullet proof is always a bonus.

So sp****s are peeples too, pepe agrees with that. Fine, if they cannot cast a spell, then I will remain on guard. Are wasps peeples too?? They are in dive bombing mode at the moment, silly on too much fruit and sugar and they just go straight for me

I did open the book of spells but as soon as you look at a page, all the writing vanishes - seeing as I have not been awarded anything from Hogwarts, I am not privy to such things.

Pepe has settled a bit, regarding loosing his paws. I think Miss Sleek was catonising him over the crystal ball, to reduce his worrying.

She did have a go at making him like the vets, but that went down like a lead balloon :?

We do find things floating about, fine if you are aware, but makes you jump when you see the cups hovering in the cupboard

Mum looked more tired today, with more visitors. We went round, but didn't stop long, I was not the best company. It was nice to see them. I hope they didn't stay too long as mum was in need of rest.

Pensions have been pretty poor, NHS ones are index linked, so if there is no change in that, then there is no rise, end of  I remember when I bought my first house I think the interest rate was about 15% - there will be some big shocks when the rates do go up, which I am certain they will, shortly.

Hi Kath, thank you for getting rid of the knicker remnants, at least most of them are put to good use with the fairies, elves and nymphs in the ravine.

Pepe would not keep Miss Sleek waiting, they are two peas in a pod now and very fond of each other.

I don't know if they use kangaroo meat in their sausage rolls, I know you can get it here, in some deli's. It was often on the menu when we lived in France, Dad tried it and said it was lovely  I gave it a miss. I don't eat kangaroo's, no Maam.

What a fab picture, they are all Ragdolls, like Mother and Pepe, I love it, all piled up near the fire.

Hope you are as ok as can be and not too many ouches. I did hear that two bush babies were coming over to see you.

Hi Barbara, everyone has a few bits of those bloomers. Dusters, Roofing, trampolines..........

I was busy ish on Sat, but today I have been a big lump, B cut my hair, so that feels better, apart from that and walking round to Mum's and back, that has been it. Pain killers on top of pain killers and trying not to swallow

Looking forward to the fayre in the hall, as you say, it will be dry, warm, plenty of things to eat, easy parking and only half a mile away. Perfect.

I think we should gather under the cloak on the 26th, to offer our support to your neighbour. You have been a rock to her and the kiddies. Glad everything is documented.

The terror attack, no, they get so much publicity. Let the police do their job, which they are doing and arresting people in several places. The media just chase round after them.

Hi Joan, oh poor Sue, having the sickness bug, sending lots of hugs and get well vibes your way. I hope you don't get it.

Thank you yes, all the visitors have enjoyed their visits, Mum has done well, but looked more tired on Sunday.

Our first colour TV was enormous, made of wood, Dad had to build a special shelf to house it, it must have been at least two feet deep. Now, ours is as thin as a mobile phone, what changes we have seen. just in our lifetimes.

Be right back, Pepe is shouting the odds for more food...............

Ok, I am fading and my spelling has been atrocious, have had to go back and re do all the red underlined words, some of them were corkers.

I had better love you all and leave you. No coffee this morning, cannot drink anything hot

Hi to everyone else, Christine, Kerrin, Carol, Mig, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.

Everyone take lots of care XXXX n night, Aidan

    Evening all

have just popped in as we have internet working at the moment it has been on and off again for the pas t 2 days well after Fridays escapades things have sort of quietened down how long it will last especially when Mr T wants to use the internet today and it starts playing about. well there has been lots going on in here what with flying around knickers fizzing broomsticks and all sorts of other things.

Aidan think the pygmy possums will so have perfected their tiny cuddles the bushbabies have said very soon when they were with me earlier having cuddles and jammie dodgers. hope your sore throat soon feels better.

well today is pusskin searching day hope we manage to find one we want we will take our time pick the right one. that's for sure. Even if it takes us more than one trip to the rescue centre before we find the right one.

Joan we don't have an Ethernet lead it is wifi connected to the router as we both have laptops. but I think it is the router that is the problem or the phone socket that the router is plugged into. hope Sue is feeling better soon.

Barbara It is indeed scary what is going o with all the terror attacks but all one can do is carry on with life if you let it stop you from doing things you would never go or do anything. yes its internet engineer day tomorrow so hopefully he sorts it out.

Kath I don't envy you having to set up your printer again I hate doing that too.

Well must be off as must finish my coffee the we are off to the rescue centre to look for our pusskins. will report on trip later if internet allows :lol:

take care all and hope you all have a good day

I was always the official s****r bouncer, never thought I'd end up as a knicker lobber though.

No Joan, he won't need to come to the house. He will just go to the excange and switch us over there, we SHOULD be able to change the router over ourselves, so watch this space. :?

Aidan, sore throat, poorly you, is that why you are being so quiet?

    Afternoon all
Oh Aiden that throat sound awfully painful..it no use me giivng you advice , you will know it all..I just hope it goes sooner than later..(sorry cant help myself)..some honey might help..and the awful mouthwash bacterial I forgotten the name..(())
So mum looked tired ..bless her ..hope she had a good sleep when they went home..yes we could get the clock out for my neighbour..she would be so grateful..apparently she has lost quite a few friends to him ..because he has spread the word she has stopped him seeing the children..very clever :x
Toni be careful om the slope..I suppose you will get use to it..but must make sure it is salted in winter..our drive is quite steepish...
Carol you are right we have to show them what for and carry on..but they do thrive off publicity ..just wish they would put stop to it..I hope you are now up and running properly with the net..fingers crossed..aww good luck at the rescue center..and dont bring them all home..
Joan I am glad to hear that Sue is feeling better..yes we had to do so many clothes an hour ..I am a dad hand at fling things..I use to love watching the whit cotton sheets come through the rollers..I did move on to office work but thoroughly enjoyed the laundry.. :D
Kath the knickers make good dusters...its a shame to lobbed them.. hope the change over goes to plan..
Not sure were today has gone ..better go to the shed ..

Hi Barbara It's a waste to lob my knickers even with spi***s on them

I will salt the slope for definite good advice there thanks :)

The laundry sounded fun back in the day it would be agony now :?

Kath you are the best knicker-lobber I have ever seen
I am pleased to hear all should go well tomorrow. When we changed a few years back it was easy honestly :)

Carol oh my gosh!! Pusskin hunting today I do hope that the internet lets you report back :D:D

Best of luck I think Miss Sleek and Pepe have been sprinkling magic over the rescue so the perfect cat finds YOU : :D

    Joan
I am very pleased to hear ue is ok now and presumably you didn't catch it? Holiday is 4th october  that is soon!!

Oh Aidan I do hope your throat has eased a bit overnight? Tonislitis is as painful as glandular fever if I remember rightly :? ((()))

Ice cream is good all soft things and yes a closer eye on your sugar ATM is essential.

The girls had a lovely time much dancing and shots  Suck bowls all empty - phew!!

I am so glad the nymphs love their new rooves and trampolines too great fun can be had with an old pair of knickers

I'm not sure whether wasps are peeples too I am inclined to think maybe not?? They are vicious ATM aren't they very scary :?

I can't see anything in the spell books either most disappointing - I'm sure I could get my hands on most of the ingredients to.....

Miss S says she has sorted Pepe out and wishes she'd never said about losing his paw, but it was so e would behave for his medication. Essential medication at that! N luck catonising him to like the vets. She reckons it's in his genetic makeup and nothing she can do about it :?

Floating wand this morning I saw...not good as I wa asleep in bed at the time

Not good to hear Mum wasn't great yesterday... too much company not enough rest and of course you yourself won't want to give her your throat.

We think the interest rates will rise again soon maybe in the New Year?

I saw the Rev Delphine this morning as I was overseeding the lawn at the front. She was fine, but her little doggie is struggling with his walks now bless him :(

I get cross that they arrest the terrorists after the event

Best get on much housework done today feeling smug if a little achy

    Love to everyone

Evening all well jut a little update on my post this morning
went to the rescue centre and registered our interest in a cat they are very rigorous in their questioning we knew this as we went through it when we got our dog Snowie. Because they want to make sure they rehome the animal with the right person. which we understand. we did not get a cat today in fact we didn't even get to look at any cats today. because they had very few cats ready for rehoming as they had had a very busy weekend and had successfully rehomed 24 cats in that time. so we now have to wait until they get more cats in there they are receiving them all the time. so the interviewer said they would give us a call when they have some more cats in and we can then go back and see them. S we are now awaiting a call or e-mail from them. fingers crossed it wont be too long.

Toni I think Pepe and Miss Sleek need to sprinkle a little more magic for more puskins . Glad Lucy had a good time.
the internet seems to be behaving at the moment and we have the engineer tomorrow afternoon so hopefully it will all be sorted then. Glad Lucy had a good time.
we both have a flu jab tomorrow morning too. and I will be at slimming world before my jab so I will have to leave there early. so busy day all round.

Barbara Yes your right it is the publicity that these terrorist want.

well hope fully I can report tomorrow that the internet is good and working properly. will now go and see our lovelies and make sure all is ok with them I wonder if the pygmy possums have perfected their tiny hugs yet. must also pop into the shed for a couple of extra hours for tomorrow .

    Ok Carol

I've had a word with Miss Slimkins who straight away got on to Pepe. they are going to get hold of Tomicat and see if they can cast a special spell so that all the homeless pusscats are sent there ASAP.

Never fear the pusskin for you will soon be where you can see him or her.

I am glad the internet is behaving and hope that tomorrow will all slot into place injections and slimming world too.

I do hope Aidan is ok today :?

    Love to everyone

We are up and running with BT, it took them half an hour in the exchange, and took us about an hour connecting everything at our end. The printer was far easier than we expected. :D

    Poor Aiden. Sounds awful. n040.gif

Carol, how exciting. A new puss cat. g040.gifg075.gif.

We did the Sawley trail this morning.

Oh Gosh I knew Aidan was poorly! :( Aidan if you look in get well soon ((()))

Miss Sleek said that Pepe’s Daddy is really poorly and he is very worried. They did the spell for Carol so she can have her pusscat, (and hopefully he/she will either already have a broomstick or she’ll want to learn), so hopefully Carol will get a call soon.

Down to business they have phoned Hermione about Pepe’s Dad, (I think Pepe thought it might be really serious…), Hermione has given him a special potion to sneak in a drink which should help his antibiotics to work better. Hermione has respect for doctors she told Miss Sleek. :?

Miss S bought Pepe a Drs out-fit from Catgos and had it delivered 1 hour fast-track. He is on active duty, but said Daddy is not a well behaved patient tut tut!

Thank you Barbara for letting us know, the poor man I suspected as much it’s not like him to be AWOL is it?

Clubs open up so much later these days don’t they? Good job both sick bowls were empty! I am glad you parcel arrived safely :)

As for the story about your ‘water’ yeah right!! Hahaha! Barbara? A wino?!!!:lol::lol:a020.gif

Is it you at the Drs tomorrow? Will be thinking of you.

Hi Kath I am so glad the move to BT has been nice and smooth and even the printer connected easily!! It was a nice morning here I hope it was for you too on the Sawley trail?

    Love to everyone

    Where is Joan?? :?
