Evening everyone
Aidan you had better have written to the cardio by now?!! I will be checking again tomorrow…tut tut!! The hash-browns were so nice I won’t tell you off too much. Of course I had maple syrup and cream with my porridge yesterday of COURSE!!!
I have been busy today Lucy has been into work twice and is loving it breakfast club then lunchtime duties and will get some after-school club duties soon too
I had a visitor this morning and then went off to visit my neighbour. Bless her she is still trapped in still aprons and masks of shame! So unfair. Still eating liquid food only and thoroughly sick of it she is too
Another lady was supposed to be coming with me but her GrSon was vomiting (he is about 4/5) so she had him and obviously can’t take potential germs into a hospital.
So the GC was lovely as ever and Sainsbury’s has argos in it??? How odd?? Mind you they are ‘connected’ by nectar. Dad is ok and a quiet day in for you all tomorrow will be ideal. Is Bette still clean after yesterday’s sprucing up? As for the photos of yesterday’s cakes which were on offer – I went straight to the cheesecake too!! Luckily the coconut-infused caramel swirled through cheesecake was lovely – of course with extra cream
Pepe and Sleek had a great time out on Pendle (Pepe had his Puss in boots outfit on which She had bought him for Valentine ’s Day but gave it to him today as it sooooo suits him!!! Clip clop he goes in them I hope he didn’t wake you from your naps? :?
Oh they totally admire Silver, apparently he is really REALLY TALL!! Somehow he can ‘dance’ when he’s flying, which sounds beautiful and sparkles erupt all around him.
Hi Joan I hope you have had a good day ours has been dark and dreary
Kerrin I know you wouldn’t lose any children!
Inspiring them and getting them exited and enthusiastic is 100% what you need to do isn’t it? That’s part of the role of a good teacher.
Glad the MTX went ok with just a headache and not fancying chicken to contend with.
Oh Carol fed up with that boiler!
I am so not surprised I would be too. It’s dangerous if it can get into the red zone! I very much hope the new part – heat exchanger - was fitted today and plan c works out for you ((()))
After that they really must change the boiler it really isn’t acceptable to muck you around like this
How exiting that this new GBaby is due near Mr T’s birthday I bet he has his fingers crossed.
Kath Cuddles is a very clever cat you know. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she is in the Government
Poor people in Zambia I do hope the outbreak calms down very soon
Barbara no Sleek must not be told about our holiday she will be so upset and well…dramatic and poor Pepe gets the worst of it
Totally agree about that stupid man on Dancing on Ice (DOE) what sort of rubbish was he bellowing!! Paul and I said the same. Almost spoilt it. :x We don’t mind Jason so much – they have to have one ‘meanie’ on the show I suppose.
GUESS what? the water coming out of our taps hot and cold is brown PLEASE don't tell me our boiler is joining the saga of naff boilers along with Joan and Carol
Love
Toni xxx0 -
Evening all
Kerrin hopefully you had a good time with the skating and that the kids did too glad you have not lost any.
Joan to be honest I am beginning to think we will have all new parts by the time this engineer is finished.
Aiden Yes another post disappeared  where do they go I ask myself . I think coffee together would certainly be out of the question o don't really fancy wearing coffee bit to wet and hot for my liking, but yes you feel a right fool when you do it i did it again indoors today. Magic sprinkles are being used well and yes i will say to this boiler man's credit he is really determined to find the fault. GD did have quite a few problems last time and suffered quite a bit of pain but she got through it, so we hope she will again we can only wait and see. and yes she will have a good few extras scans because of her history last time.
Barbara yes this engineer is a real Gem he is so determined and so apologetic when he dose something and it dose not work. i too love a cuddle of a new born with Lillie and Graycie both were very tiny when I First saw them. Lillie was about a month old when i First saw her in person. I couldn't go straight away as I couldn't use my rollator very well at the time because I had broken my wrist, and it was in plaster. and with Graycie it was so close to Christmas i waited till 4 days into the new year so she was just 3 weeks. the 3 GC lived i london when they were born so I saw all of them the day they were born.
Quick recap on the boiler ( Thank you all for being patient while I rant about the stupid metal thing) engineer has been here three times himself today trying all manner of things we are stiill watching and noting down pressure at certain intervals during the day as he tries all these things, it is still not right and he is a confused as we are now as to where the problems is, because it's sure not visible. he has been here 3 times today and is back tomorrow afternoon with a new pressure relief valve which is the next thing to try. the whole thing is getting to Myself and Mr T now, and apart from telling one another what engineer has said and what we have to do next, we are not talking to each other about it because we know it will only cause us to argue between
ourselves. the good thing is that we are both getting our times out and about where we are taking it in turns to with being around when engineer calls.
Silly me went out without my keys this morning when going to SW and had to call Mr T back home from his trip out this afternoon, because engineer was due to call again and I couldn't get back in .
he wasn't very happy but he didn't say anything when he got back bless him .
Toni just caught you there before posting heat exchanger not fitted yet but engineer is really helpful and very nice and Mr T didn't have top it up yesterday so it is getting a bit better but not quite right engineer has been back 3 times today trying all manner of thinks he is back again tomorrow afternoon to fit a new pressure relief valve. Glad Lucy is enjoying the job. ooh sparkles from Silver.
I am so looking forward our weekend away at the end of the month when we go to kent for 2 nights and my birthday meal with family 17 days to go. we come home 2 days before my actual birthday. think Mr T is looking forward to it too.
Well it time for a little potter around before bedtime comes around again
see you all again soon t4591 t69044Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Early morning / night owl, to one and all.
Your hair is looking very nice Barbara, smart girl
Just in time for your neighbour to pop in. I hope she said your hair looked nice. I also hope she is as ok as can be and feeling better.
You are very welcome to the cake. Believe it or not I never had sweets when I was little, only rare occasions, I never had a sweet tooth at all. Mother used to give me a carrot to chew on
Now, I am cake and scone dependent, not to mention some Cadbury's milk choccy. 3 squares of a night time.
I was very good, we always sit by the cake counter in the antique center / tea rooms, I like to see what is on offer. By the time you have had lunch, umpteen coffee's etc, I am always full, even when the cheesecake is calling me.
I will take a pic of the horses, they are book ends apparently. We love them and they have pride of place on the fireplace.
Yes, Sainsb took over ARGOS a while back, it is really handy to have it all in the same store. If you order by 10, it will be in store by 4pm, which is excellent. They do carry quite a bit of stock, but it is not big enough to carry everything under the sun.
I forgot about the nectar card, I will have to pop in with the receipt, to add my points.
We do have a lot of birdies, the sparrows love our hawthorn hedge that B planted some years ago. Their numbers are climbing again, which is good news.
Jason Gardiner is the baddy of the ice show, a bit like Craig Revel on Strictly.
I have Toni, I have, honest, the email has gone to my Cardio's secretary, she will write back to me tomorrow. Have another hash brown and some luscious cake, to calm yourself
Maple syrup is a must on porridge, with double cream............oats are so healthy too :? :?
Glad that Lucy is loving her new job, you have been busy, there and back, twice........
Oh dear, your poor neighbour, still with the aprons and masks of shame. I will ask Silver to do another fly by, to sprinkle some magic dust over the ward. How is her chest, is it still bad? Bless her, she must be totally fed up.
Oh no, no germs, no sickly bugs, we don't want them certainly not on the ward. It is the season for the norovirus bug, so major hand sanitizing.
We are looking forward to a day at home and I am sure Dad will enjoy some time to himself as well.
Bette was sparkling clean, after our out and about trips on Tuesday, she is all spattered with bits,  but still looks good.
Didn't the cheesecake look tempting. If it was a quick coffee and cake visit, I would have face planted in it
So that is what the noise was, his nibs, parading up and down the hall in his puss in boot outfit. I thought we had horses going past the house. He did look very smart though. I think they are planning something, don't you?
Silver can dance, mid air, with ease, much to the admiration of the puskins.
You have brown water, has their been some works going on, in the vicinity?
I think we would have to wear waterproof clothing if we went out for coffee Carol
It is just one of those things, that we contend with.
I am glad that the BG engineer is being diligent in his efforts to seek out the problem with the boiler. I think it will all be new, by the time he has finished.
No, don't discuss it with Mr T, only to tell what the updates are, we don't want any grumbles. You have enough on, getting it fixed, hopefully very soon.
I hope you GD has less trouble with this pregnancy. Good that they will be keeping an eye.
Oops, you forgot your keys and Mr T had to come back, oh dear, at least nothing was said...........well, these things happen. To err is human.
I see we are on countdown, 16 days now, till you go away to see your family, wonderful, you will both need the break.
Time has marched on and it is well after 1am.
I will say hi to everyone else, in and around and about. Take lots of care. XXX Aidan
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Oh Carol! (is that a song?!!)
The saga goes on and on and on.....I very much hope all will be sorted when the engineer returns today bless him he sounds determined To be honest we are all interested to see the outcome of the story now
No need to discuss with Mr T at all and good that you are both managing to get out and about. We have a key safe now...used to have one at our old house only family have the code so we can always get in
A weekend in Kent will do you the world of good, but the boiler MUST be sorted before then.
Aidan we didn't often have sweets either as kids. Maybe that's why we love sweet things now
I missed the horse head book-ends! I think a photo may well be in order although I think I know what you mean.
Our Argos is in the same retail park as Sainsbury, but not in it. How convenient is that being able to pick stuff up at the same time and earn nectar points too
I am very pleased to hear you have emailed the Cardio's secretary there's a good boy
Oh yes porridge is a healthy breakfast (Just keep quiet about what you put on it ).
Neighbour's chest still isn't clear no and she has another infection too. To do with the pressure sore which was operated on last year so 16 weeks of A/Bs ahead of her hopefully not inpatient    . The liquid diet is the worst part for her though
Yes I could have face-planted in that cheesecake it looked wonderful Best to fill up on 'healthier' food so we are less tempted! Just a thought...do they do take-aways??
Miss Sleek says Pepe looks very very handsome yes! So smart and he loves clicking his heels together. She says they are having 'dancing lessons' at Hogwarts :?
I hope you all benefit from a quiet day in Bette certainly will
I will just take some continental breakfast.....
and wave hello to Joan!!
Love to everyone

Morning.
Ice skating went well yesterday, no lost kids or injuries. And another thing on my list that I can no longer do, it hurt the feet too much.
At home today as the mild cold I’ve had for weeks is migrating to the chest. Not too bad yet but coughing more and more. Hope a day of rest helps.
A weekend in Kent sounds lovely, wave as you drive past.
Here’s to all things getting fixed today, radiators and whatever else including my fence.

DN came to do my blood test today. He looked at last months results for me, all OK.
I've been told that Cuddles is going to be in charge of Nursing Homes, and has permission to hire and fire staff (AKA Bush Babies) Her official title is Secretary for the aged, Matron Cuddles Gentlepaws. Bless her.

Afternoon to all, a dull ish day here. At least we can see the dullness more clearly, after the window cleaner has been
I am sure that is the case Toni, we need sweet things now that we are of an age........ :? :? Our tastes change considerably, as we get older, we taste sweet and salt differently to when we were young.
Here is the picture of the horses, they stand about 10 inches tall, love them to bits.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/06xIrDjicbXAyjCO2
Best laid plans, just been chatting to neighbour for ages, so that put paid to well over an hour........
I have my appointment with the Cardio, March 28th, that takes it up to a year then. Any problems prior, I just get in touch and he will see me within the week. He is a star, looking after me for 21 years is no mean feat :? :?
Your poor neighbour, is the infection in her pressure sore area then? Hope it isn't MRSA.......16 weeks of AB's, oh dear, lots of yoghurts and the like. I hope she is at home soon, she will be so fed up, not to mention the pinnies of shame.
Fill up on healthier food, as in, don't have cream with the cheesecake sounds like a plan. Yes, they do take outs. Shall I order you one.
I have had to put Pepe's boots in the cupboard, he was getting to marching up and down the hall........  The broom growled at me   then purred when it saw Pepe.
We have had a nice day really, I have been washing voiles, from the bedrooms, well, the washer has. They are all pristine, windows done, nice white voiles again. They soon go dull, catch the dust that floats up from the rads.
Hi Kerrin, glad the skating went well, no one was lost, or injured, so that is a big plus.
No way could I ever ice skate, it used to take me an age to get from the changing room to the rink, then all I did was hang on to the edge with a vice like grip.
Hope you are not getting a chest infection, I will send Silver over, to sprinkle some magic.
Hi Joan, the new coffee machine is a Krups, Nespresso, it is much smaller and more compact that the D Gusto and there is a lot more choice of pods, with many places doing compatible ones, which is good.
We have had our daily fixes of coffee, trying out different ones.
I can understand you not wanting carers coming in and there being any chance of the doggies getting out. We would be the same with the puskins.
I see the DN has been and taken your bloods Kath. Glad last months were all ok too.
I think Cuddles will be excellent in the Cabinet, with her new title and responsibilities.
SOrry you had a bad night Barbara, yes, the sleeps will appear when ready. I know just what it is like. Without my sleeping pills I would be awake almost 24 hours a day. Incurable insomnia apparently
Don't worry about having a sweet tooth, we are all still here and fighting on.
I can be very good with chocolate, three pieces only. I could happily eat the whole lot, but I dare not send my blood sugar up too high.
Bread, oh yes, a seeded wholemeal would be wonderful thank you.
I remember Ashley Banjo, from Diversity, the dance group, they were really good. Didn't one of them sadly pass away, or am I dreaming?
That will be lovely to go and see the Sisters, who went into a care home. I am glad that they are settled and only wish they had done it sooner. It must be a good place, well run, with caring staff. It is always a worry when friends or family need to go into care.
I hope Mig is ok too, maybe she is up in Scotland, or on holiday, out and about. I am sure she will pop in soon. We can send Silver to find her
Well,I had better be sorting out something tasty to go with a cup of T. Barbara will be checking the posts, to see what we have today.
Leaving hug and love to one and all. Catch you later XXX Take care X Aidan
old fashioned lemon cake today

Evening All
Well today has been a good day the stupid metal thing in the kitchen that shall not be named. is now working to the engineers satisfaction so no more daily visits at present just the usual now and then checks to make sure pressure is ok as is normal which we do anyway. He says he is satisfied how it is behaving and it is rising and falling as it should be not too high or too low. so Mr T and I are very happy with that and a both saying long may it continue. and pressure relief valve was not needed.
Aidan your right there I often knock something the trouble is the clearing it up after but hey ho that's Life. looks like the magic sparkles have worked a treat at present, long may it last roll on summer when we don't have to have the heating on m0150 m0150 m0150 .
forgetting my keys yesterday is very rare for me its Usually Mr T that forgets his I usually check they are taken out of the key box near to our front door before i go out. I think when went out to slimming world I had thoughts of what the engineer was going to say he was there with Mr T when I left, and what the mood was going to be later.
Yes now on count down cannot wait to have a couple of days away in Ramsgate in our usual hotel we use when we stay down there together.
Cheesecake really did look divine could almost taste it. love the photo of the horses they look really lovely.
Toni your right Oh Carol is a song by Neil Sedaka It was a favourite song of mine when I was younger. As you can see boiler is working ok at present and the engineer was very determined to get it working right apparently when he looked at it today and looked at what we had noted down since he called yesterday he literally punched the air Mr T said. I think he was so pleased he had seen it through to the end and got it right bless him. I love my porridge with honey.
Will give you a wave as we pass by on the train to Ramsgate. [bKerrin[/b] hope you got your fence sorted. our garden fence also needs repair it will get done just not sure when yet.
Joan no we have only had the expansion vessel changed today it was ok and didn't even need the new pressure relief valve that the engineer needed.
Barbara that is why I love this group cos people are interested in what is happening and are always ready to listen to the rants. I too hate having to stop in waiting for someone to call to repair something. yes counting the days untill we are away although it's to celebrate my birthday with a meal with family my birthday is actually the following Tuesday and i dont want to think about being 70 I am still looking forwaed to it.
Think its time to move again
will see you all soon t4591 t69044Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to one and all. We have a thick frost again and a weather warning of fog, strange, can see for miles at the moment.
Hi Carol, well, the bo--er that will not be named, only as a machine to supply warmth and hot water, seems to be working as it should. I am so glad that the engineer has sorted whatever needed sorting and he is happy with the results of the work.
Even more pleased that you and Mr T do not have to keep popping to look at the "machine" for water pressure levels.
We will keep those magic sparkles going, here are some more, just in case you need them at any point. They work on people too.
We could try them on our knocking and dropping of things. Most things I send flying, don't break, which is fortunate.
I am not surprised you forgot your keys, with all the recent events with the unmentionable "Machine" and wondering what was going on at home. Ones mind becomes distracted.
The strawberry cheesecake was oozing with yummyness. Thank you, the horses are lovely, a real find. Laddro retired them many years back, so they are scarce items now.
Oh we don't mind people having a good grumble about what is going on in life. We have all been there and I have often been found on my soap box, shouting the odds  Everyone is so supportive, it is really like an extension to our families. A forum where people really get to know the others and there are no trolls to spoil things, as there are on so many social media sites.
We have had a chilled out evening, I fell fast asleep for my siesta, I think the tramadol sent me off to the land of nod. I was asleep in my chair, after my cup of T and biscuits, so I was ushered off to bed
I have been to see all the lovelies, goodness, the sanctuary is so large now, with all our animals. The noo noo was there, intact. Everywhere was spotless and the report from the vets was "all in fine fettle".
I am sure I saw two red panda's, Blush was there, in the bamboo, and I am sure I saw another, hiding? Johnny might have been on another rescue mission.
The meerkats think they have moved to Siberia but are happy enough with their heated burrows and lots of meal worms.
The Dormice are fast asleep, in their temperature controlled environment. They will wake up in Spring.
Lots of milk was being transported to the Rhino's, it is all automated now, which saves Barbara lugging gallons of milk formula around.
Pepe and Sleek were on skype on their new phones, taking lots of selfies  Sleek is all excited about the impending Royal wedding and cannot wait to see the dress. (say yes to the dress uk is back on this Friday). they will be glued to it, as will we.
Well, I had better post, before the pc decides to restart at random, as it does occasionally
Hi to Christine, Mig, Toady Toni, DD, Elizabeth, Kath and all. Everyone take lots of care and keep warm and safe. XXXX Aidan
homemade bread and jam, simple, but lovely
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Was that Barbara's bread Aidan? very lovely old-fashioned breakfast no wonder they used to love it
The lemon cake was exactly what I would have chosen too.
The horses are what I expected and really very lovely You must be chuffed of course.
The cats cannot wait until Friday and are planning to watch 'Yes' at yours. Miss Sleek loves a good wedding, but a ROYAL one!!!
Sorry about Pepe and the boots they are rather noisy so I hear and well - the broom!! Very cheeky growling and you, but purring at Pepe
We had a fog warning, but all looks well here to and at2 degrees at 7am I am happy enough. I think Pepe and Sleek may be off to Pendle and will be taking Cuddles with them for a break from her well-earned catinet duties.
Now someone said that Johnny had been on an expedition again so I'm not surprised to hear Blush has a friend, very shy she is though and yet to be named???
Well done making your appointment with the cardio, who I am sure, has enjoyed your 21 years relationship!! You have come of age!!!!
If you see any cake you think I will like (most of them  ) please do order me a take-out!!
Good to hear windows and voiles are all sparkling now lovely
The infection is from the pressure area yes.... so dangerous and in the bone you understand I know:(
Hi Barbara Did you bake that bread I just had with jam? It was yum
Yes poor neighbour is really suffering fingers crossed she recovers a bit soon. Saw her husband in the shed he said once they are happy the infection is retreating she may be able to have oral AB's and come home - a few weeks but there is hope.
Lucy is one happy girls gets up with a smile on her face and is out of the door in a flash
I wanted to tell Mig about our impending cruise to
Go that heating engineer Carol!!!! Plan c worked then?! I don't blame him punching the air at all
It will take you both a while to relax though and believe that the pressure won't rise to dangerous levels I think....
I am singing 'your' song in my head now
Is this next birthday a 'special' one then?
Kath I think Cuddles has hired us another Red Panda!! Her title:
'Secretary for the aged, Matron Cuddles Gentlepaws' is perfect for her!!!
Glad all bloods are as they should be
Joan we have a tassimo - this is my second. Why shouldn't we have good coffee in our own homes eh? It would be scary to let the carers have a key safe just incase they let the dogs out by mistake wouldn't it? I can see that, but gosh it would save you getting up so early!!
Love to everyone

Afternoon to all - I did have spare time, but, it has gone and is now in the shed...............
I will write more later, just wanted to say hi though. We went out with Dad for coffee at the T room, gathered prescriptions (seems to be a very regular event)
Yes, appointment with cardio will be the coming of age one, I dread the day when he says he is retiring completely, I will go to bits, I just know it.
Puskins did go up to Pendle with Cuddles, there is a thick mist rolling in now, so Miss Sleek took advantage and gathered some more mists. Of course Pepe wore is clatterbox boots. Cheeky broom, growling at me. It needs taming. Hermione has heeded our weather warning and thickening mists. No fly until after 11am Friday.
There is much chirruping about say yes to to the dress and of course the Royal wedding, well, Miss Sleek is looking through hundreds of dresses online.
Glad you liked breakfast, bread and jam is lovely. Mum used to make all her own bread and many parish folks used to bring lots of homemade jams etc. so we were never short. I remember it was piled high in the pantry
Glad that Lucy is happy with her work and is up and at em, first thin in the morning. Go team Lucy
Oh, your poor neighbour, pressure sore down to the bone, I have seen that a few times and they are so difficult and take such a time to tissue and heal. I have dressed some that you can put your hand into and see the base of the spine quite clearly. I expect it was debrided under general, to clean out all the dead tissue. Bless her, I will send some super powerful vibes t4591 t115006
AB's for such a long time is essential, but carries its own gammet of problems, but, I am sure she will keep strong. ((()))
Hi Joan, Dad is ok ish, forgetting things, we usually chase things up and then find out that he was told about it by the third party a few days prior. Anyway, big do's and little do's, his car will be repaired tomorrow, then he can tell them he wants to stop driving, that will be a HUGE relief to us to be honest. We don't mind taking him wherever.
Hi Kath, glad you liked the bread and jam and the lemon cake. Oh look, you managed to get a photo of our new red panda, how lovely we must think of a name for her. Blush and Bashful ??
Right, let me go sort some cake, Barbara will be here any minute and will be needing refreshments.
Hi to everyone, love to all. Will write more later. XXX Aidan

Evening all
early evening because we have our usual church meal tonight this is the first one since the start of December. so will not be on line later. I ordered some new crutches a couple of days ago online it said sold in pairs but when I went to the pay part it was showing a cost for each (and they were quite cheap for the make they were) so I ordered 2, when they came this morning I find 2 pairs in the box, I didn't mind because the amount paid was still cheaper than the full price for 1 pair so I got a bargain.
Aidan The unnamed metal thing that provides heat and hot water is behaving very nicely where will we keep the magic sparkles . think we all may be using them a lot. yep think i might try a few sprinkled on each cup of coffee or tea may be i won't knock them over yes things on you mind do distract then you forget things. yes this group is like an extended family everyone is so lovely. glad all the lovelies are ok.
Toni I thought the same when Mr T told me what he did I think I would have done so if I was the engineer. Yes my birthday is a big one I will be 70.
Joan yes we too hope the metal object will work now for a good while. fingers are firmly crossed.
ok must go and get myself sorted out before going out
have a good evening everyone t4591 t69044Stay positive always👍xx0 -

Hi to all, from a foggy Ribble Valley.
I hope everyone is as ok as possible.
Sitting down a moment, before midnight, almost unheard of :?
I found some cakes for you Toni, I will just get them boxed up and ready to take out
It was nice to get the voiles washed and the windows preened, even better when the window cleaner came to do the outside, very pleased. Bless, little things mean so much eh.
I am sending some extra ((())) and sparkles to your neighbour, I cannot stop thinking about her and I wish I was able to be back on the wards again and able to look after her. Send her my love and well wishes, please and thank you.
Now, this cruise, that we don't mention or talk about to any of our fluffkins.........I am being nosey too and itching to know where you are sailing to, just in case we all need to come along. Mind, I am not good on water, but I can skype
I am sure Mig, Carol and Mr T would have their bags packed in no time and Barbara and Mr B too.
Was it choir practice last night, I am sure I heard Barbara in the shed, warming up her vocals
Miss Sleek must have asked Hermione for a favour, to be transported over, due to the no fly fog warning. I heard them chatting and going through feline brides online boutique, they are choosing outfits for the Royal wedding.
Hi Carol I hope you enjoyed your first Church meal, of 2018. You did get a bargain with the crutches. Would the GP not refer physio and then they would supply them. I just pop into our local small hospital and ask for new ones, when mine give up the ghost, or start rattling  Anyway, you did well, to get 2 pairs for the price of one.
I am glad that the metal thing that give out heat, is working ok and doing just what it should do. Long may it continue...........
Sprinkle away, if you sprinkle some of the sparkles onto the jars, then they never run out. I throw them far and wide, not the coffee cups, the sparkles
You will both be ready for your Birthday break with the family. Where are we now, 14 days?
There you are Barbara. So you lost a day, there are some spare hours in the shed, that vanished from here the other day. Help yourself to some sparkles, there are plenty to go round.
Thank you, we hope we have good taste and we love the horses. We have seen a pair for sale in America, for over £400   no, we didn't pay anything like that. Nice to know we found a couple of gems.
It was our home day on Wednesday, then out with Dad on Thursday. Today, we were going out, but not now, as Dad is having the car wing mirror repaired, even though he has forgotten all about it until we see him this morning.
We will go out Saturday instead.
I hope you had a little bit of each cake
So if 70 is the new 50, and I am rapidly heading to 60, does that make me nearly 40 8) 8)
Right, I will do some more pottering. Dryer has finished, so I can fuss in the kitchen.
Hi to Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Elizabeth, Charrisse, Kerrin and all.
Everyone take lots of care. I will pop breakfast on the next post.
Love to all. XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -

The rusty-spotted cat is the smallest wild cat in Asia and rivals the black-footed cat as the world's smallest wild cat. It is 35 to 48 cm (14 to 19 in) in length, with a 15 to 30 cm (5.9 to 11.8 in) tail, and weighs only 0.9 to 1.6 kg (2.0 to 3.5 lb). The short fur is grey over most of the body, with rusty spots over the back and flanks, while the underbelly is white with large dark spots. The darker colored tail is thick and about half the length of the body, and the spots are less distinct. There are six dark streaks on each side of the head, extending over the cheeks and forehead.
Did anyone see the gorgeous program about big (and tiny) cats? This was one of the tiniest, even fully grown they are only kittensize. I'd love some in our sanctuary, but are extremely rare so I doubt if we can. I also got a picture of Black Footed cat."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Afternoon to one and all. A day of secretarial duties for Dad, has taken most of the time.
B is taking him to the fish and chip shop in a mo.
Will have to write more later, but just wanted to pop in and sort out some cakes for T.
Hi to Joan, as you can see we have had a busy day, phoning and sorting things out with Dad, most things are up to speed now, so that's good. It is going colder, I hope the rads are all working well and you are both keeping nice and warm.
The puskins are lovely, I am sure we can have some in our sanctuary, they are very rare indeed, little rusty spotted ones and the black footed ones, bless. Thank you for the info and the pictures
No, we didn't see that programme on big and small cats, I am sure it will be on catch up, so we will look for it. Sounds very interesting.
I hope you are ok and not too ouchy, if needs be I wills end some jars of sparkles, Silver Moon makes sure there is plenty of wonderful magic in them.
Glad you managed to gather some hours, there will be plenty left, as some of our day has gone missing again :? :? Carol will be grateful though, as hers are always vanishing too.
Just a few cakes to choose from, well, Toni wanted some to take out, so ones wish is my command.
Dads wing mirror has been repaired and he has decided to hand the car back to motability. One of the things we have been chief secretary of today. We will go in tandem on Tuesday to take it back to the dealership. He is happy about it and we are relieved, we would rather take him out and about, as we have been doing for months anyway.
I am glad I am 40 years old again, even though I feel over 90
Our window cleaner is not as regular, it can be weeks and weeks, then we just pop into the park office and ask the receptionist who happens to be his Wife, to remind him that we need to see out of our windows please Then he appears. We often see him around and about in the villages.
Some more good vibes will go down well with Toni's neighbour, the more the better. Poor love, she needs to be at home asap. There are so many bugs in the hospitals at the moment.
Hope the shopping trip was fruitful and you had a buggy. Not that I would mind sitting in the cafe, watching the world go by.
I hope everyone else is ok, taking care and keeping warm.
Let me go find something sweet.
Will catch you later, love to all XX Aidan
