Afternoon to one and all, from a rather snowy Ribble Valley. hcold
Fortunately the bad weather held off, so that we could easily get to Skipton and do what we needed to do. The minute we arrived home, the hail and snow started.

I hope everyone is keeping as warm and safe as possible. Take care.

As you can see Joan, we have snow at the moment and various weather alerts for very high winds and more snow

We do need a rest, we had to get the jobs done today, but, it was a struggle and I have relied on Tramadol to get me through the day so far.
Just one of those things, ones joints and bones, seem to go through staged and then plateau off a little, I am in one of those "stages" I think

Glad you are feeling better, that is good news, take care if you get horrid weather. Love to Sue and the Doggies too. Barbara's tip on eating live yoghurts, is a good one, those that are probiotic or have those bifidus whatsits in them :?

Ah, so you are already on Unicorn juice Kath, that is very good, so if we add the magic sparkles, a few bush babies, a possum and some extra ((())), you will be feeling less ouchy.

I have only ever been into the E Wool Shops themselves, not used the online site. There is a shop in Skipton which we used to go in quite a lot when Mum's were with us.
Write to them and say that their website is playing up and you want to spend money with them, they will soon have it sorted.

It has been cold, there was a very lazy wind in Skipton went right through my troosers

Hi Barbara, you bet it is horrid weather now. Glad we are back home and safe.
Yes, Dad's motability car was handed back, all very easy to do, we were only in the showroom for about 5 minutes.

Then to the lovely undertakers, she is such a wonderful lady, so is her Daughter, who is taking over more of the running of the business. Having cared for my Dad and Mum and now Mum in law, they really are part of the family.
Dad was more than happy to sort out his own funeral arrangements and pre pay, plus pay for Mum IL, all done, sorted, he is much more settled about it all now.

Oh I have had some corkers of relatives, demanding this that and the far end of the field and more. I have said on more than one occasion, "we do have a private ward in the hospital, if you prefer, but the care will be the same, regardless, you will just pay through the nose. If we are all busy, we are busy, we will see to everyone, in priority order.

Talking of side rooms, when I have been on the opposite side as a patient, they always put me in a side room, to keep me from noseying around :lol:

Paul will get a shock when we all appear on the cruise - you will have to let me know if it is choppy, then I will get Hermione to transport me over.

Niamh, the puskins are far apart, but, they can be with each other within a second, when Hermione waves her magic wand. They talk to each other on their cat phones, watch each other gliding and clicking carpets, Pepe is a dab paw at gliding, especially on the ironing board.

They are grounded at the moment, the weather is too bad, their brooms are off.

We have some calls, that originate somewhere in Asia, saying that they are from our internet providers. B usually puts them straight in no uncertain terms   :lol:

Toni, I hope you neighbour is improving, sending her many hugs and well wishes t4591 t115006

I had better move, I am setting. Will be back later, love to everyone, keep safe and warm.

    XX Aidan

    Evening All

Well I was a brave girl and kept my promise today and went to Slimming world and stepped on those scales and was surprised that when I last weigh in o e 28th of November I was at the very top of my target and after 6 weeks of not weighing and 3 meals out this week I had actually lost 1/2 a pound was surprised to say the least. so I can say that the Christmas gain that I would have had if I had weighed has gone. so need to be careful this week and stay on track because the following weekend we will be away and will be eating out most of the time from Friday to Sunday.
It has been very cold and windy here today but at least it has been dry.

Aidan Hope you don't have the horrible white stuff for
too long we are due for some during the earl hours of the morning here but the forecast for London is that it will not settle as we have high winds due as well so we will see , hopefully it will not settle here. sorry to hear you are have lot of pain sending some ((())) and some magic sprinkles. t115006 yummy love the dark orange chocolate cake. yes that housing boss need to be told very firmly maybe a case for a few magic sprinkles too t115006 .
Weigh in went well lost half a pound so now half pound under top of target so reasonably satisfactory in. yes three nights running the hearing aids have been in think that's a record. tonight I didn't hear something he said and I said well the television is on very loud so he went and put them on. Maybe he is getting the message.

Barbara we have those phone calls too they are a nuisance. youngest Granddaughter asks for money every year if people ask and she puts it altogether and goes on a shopping trip to the large shopping centre a bus ride from where she lives and usually spends it on clothes. I have a nice black pleated skirt that I brought for the evenings on our cruise last year I have not worn it since then so today I have order a nice claret red satin top and a couple of cardigans as not sure which one will team up with the rest one is navy and the other is Red from my catalogue for the birthday meal. so I can either keep both cardigans or just keep one and send the other one back if I want to or keep it anyway. lost 1/2 a pound at slimming world after 6 weeks of not weighing so not too bad at all. yes Barbara family visit getting close now 9 full days to the off.

Joan The metal object is working well now so long may it continue. hope you are feeling a bit better now.

right its time to leave you all now
so nighty night take care in this bad weather
    Love to you all t4591 t115006 t69044

Carol of course you must come on the cruise bring your wrist bands incase although I think you'll be fine :)

Are you knitting or crocheting your blanket? am glad to hear youngest GD wants money - easy and Lillie's b'day pressie is bought ready. Those 10 days will fly past.

Good job Mr T wearing his hearing aids so the telly wasn't deafening!

WELL DONE for loosing with 3 meals out!! Good choices made girl :) I am very pleased for you!

Hi Aidan I did have my all-day breakfast this morning it was yum thanks :)

My Sister had a word with Mrs Darcey about mentioning the cr***e   It won't happen again :) Carol can wear her new outfit when she visits on board.

Today will have been unsettling all round then with Mum's funeral to pay for and Dad's too and returning the car :? sending some extra ((())) for you all. t69044

I think we could write a book about the cats' adventures :) How adorable that Niamh likes to hear about them too :) Miss Sleek went AWOL first thing wouldn't come back inside. Lucy informs me that she and Pepe had a 'breakfast date' I suspect on Pendle and that they have now retrieved the strong mist. Hermione transported them both over due to the weather warnings.

Spi***s as bunnies is a great solution only when any of us who is afraid passes by and no you wouldn't be able to pick them up by mistake. Not sure why, but you are safe :D

My neighbour is lovely to spend time with honestly and she and her husband take me to choir in their car most weeks (except now as he goes straight from visiting) so it really is a pleasure. He needs support; their kids are such a long way away and can really only get here weekends :( That's what my neighbours wanted for them though to live their own lives.

She was suffering today another tissued cannula Grr :( For the first time I had to really cheer her up. Her husband had a lie-in I am pleased for him he needs rest :?

Don't we all look good with our hair done? :D

I am glad the weather held off for you.

Joan I hope you are feeling ok now?

Did I miss a post from Barbara?? I can't find one? Barbara I hope all is well with you :)

    and Kath??

Love to everyone form your slightly mad friend

Hi to all, from Narnia. We are not buried in snow, but there is a fair covering, everything looks clean and white. hcold

I hope the weather with everyone else is not too bad. Stay safe if you have to go out.

Hi Carol, see, I said that you would be fine at SW and you were, loosing 1/2 a lb is fabulous, after lots of meals out and all the festivities. Way to go Carol. Lots of pats on the back, gentle ones of course. :D:D

Thank you for the sparkles, duly received and sprinkled liberally into my tea.
In and out of the car does not help with ones back, neck etc. I had had enough of sitting, just from the journey to Skipton, all of 25 minutes. Up and down like a jack in the box

That chocolate orange cake is a face plant one, so I have put the spare ones out for Toni and I to dive into :lol:

Well done Mr T, for wearing those new hearing aids and getting the message that you cannot hear him when the tv is SO LOUD if he does not have them in. Too loud, is jarring on the nerves.

Where are we, 9 days and counting.........wonderful, bet you cannot wait to see everyone.

I see you have your clothes ready for your Birthday meal, very classy. Look forward to seeing the photo's on FB :)

Glad the metal heater, is working well, good job in this weather. I hope you don't get much in the way of snow. The heat of the city will keep it from settling I guess. Out here in the woods, we are at the mercy of the elements   cfly tcold

Hi Toni - so glad you Sister had a word about the crui--e, Mrs Darcey will keep shtum from now on. Close call, there will be all sorts of drama to contend with as it is

Yes, Carol is all kitted out for the cruise as well. I had better get a tuxedo and the like, for dinner with the Captain. 8)

The day was not too bad, Dad was fairly level headed about giving up the car. He said, after 60 plus years of driving, enough is enough. He doesn't mind being chauffered around at all and he insists he will be paying for fuel. He is on strict orders not to go out in the snow, to call us and B will drive round to get his newspaper. He has had too many falls as it is.

The undertaker is so lovely, you always go into their house when you go to see them, everything is on the same plot, right in the middle of Skipton. She gave us big hugs. Dad was quite happy to have things sorted. They will keep the ashes until we are ready to take them to Tarn Moor, to scatter them and have Mum's name carved into one of the big stones in the garden of remembrance. All the rest is managed woodland and open meadow, for sheep to graze.
Thank you for the extra hugs, I will mix them with the sparkles from Carol :) xx

We were more than ready for large coffee, toasties and a scone in Nero's. Town was very quiet, with the weather being cold and sleety.

We could indeed write a series of short story books. Niamh is enjoying all the capers that our pusking get up to.

So, they were out for a breakfast date, cheeky things they are, they know Hermione is soft on them, so she transported them to the top of Pendle. Pepe said they were in her tent and it had many rooms to hide and play in, also kept them warm and cosy, as it is mighty nippy up there.
They have so much mist now, most of it is stored in the ravine, but Sleek keeps a small jar in her house. I think she dips her wand in it, to add some extra oomph to the spells.

Glad to hear the the bunnies that are really big spi---s, cannot be picked up by us, that's fine by me.

Is your neighbour on IV antibiotics at the moment? Another line tissued, what a pain infusions can be. I am sure you managed to cheer her up and hubby will have enjoyed a lie in.

My Dad and Mum said the same, when we started talking about moving to France, "do your own thing, don't be beholden unto us, we will be fine".
It is difficult though, when family are a long way away and time for visiting is limited to the week ends.

We do all look smart with our hair done.

Barbara did post, the one before my afternoon cake time. I am sure she will forgive you  Slightly mad, not at all, we are all a little bit off center at times, I blame the pills :lol:

I see Silver Moon has been enjoying the snowy weather

    slide_405830_5067734_free.jpg

Right, I had better potter again and again.............. Hi to everyone else Kath, Kerrin, Mig, Charrisse, Christine, DD, Toady and all.

Take lots of care, we don't want any slips, trips or falls. We are staying in, so no ninny walking toady.

    Love to all XX Aidan

Morning Aidan :) Thank you for locating Barbara's post  yesterday seemed a long day! d080.gif

I hope you haven't had more snow overnight??? We have had a layer. Just enough to be gone early enough for me to get out safely later, but enough to say we've had some  Be careful we don't want any Ninny-steps  hcold

Good on Dad being stoic about giving his car in. Gosh no! He mustn't venture out on foot in the snow!!Tarn Moor sounds an ideal spot for Mum's ashes....Miss Sleek is going to get Pepe to take her there when they are allowed out. Apparently she suspects there may be special herbs there for their spell-making :?

I am very pleased all funerals are paid for. That will have things settled in Dad's mind now.

Always ready for a cuppa and bite to eat in Nero's :)

We don't have a broom cupboard so I had a look for Miss Sleek's extra potent jar of mist...found hidden in her little house behind her Tiara boxes. She does dip her wand in it and can write messages in the sky for Pepe to read from home...you know love hearts and the like

Yes my neighbour is still on super-strong ABs for the infection in her spine (from the pressure sore - confirmed by a CT). Hoping to see someone from plastic surgery on Thursday fingers (and paws) crossed. When they can be given orally she might be allowed home.... am going again on Friday as the plumber is here today and Lucy is having her hair cut on Thursday.

They pushed their lads to do well at school and live their lives to the full, but I know they worry a lot about them.

There's a confused lady in the bay (wonder whether she wishes she was still in isolation!) who keeps on shouting and saying..."I want to go home" and "look I'm all twisted" etc. She shouts a LOT and then wails. The physio got her up on her walker and she is tiny!!

This weather is fine for Silver Moon in fact sets off his coat beautifully t115006

I think I found Barbara!! There was a Mother on the Young Person's Unit who always insisted on a 'private' room for her and her daughter when her daughter was in  Some people think they are above the rest of us :x

Neighbour's husband managed a bit of a lie-in yesterday morning and will have a beer in the village shed tonight bless him.

Joan are you and Sue warm enough? Especially in Sue's bedroom? It might be time for your local paper to do a follow-u story on the inept housing dept

    Love to everyone!

Joan, hope your DEXA gives a good result and that the AA has worked well. I've got to ring the hospital and ask for a copy of my appointment letter for April. I've lost the original! :?

Thank you for the breakfast pizza Aidan. I definitely need my unicorn juice, my neck, elbows and shoulders are so painful. Thank goodness for my fur stole. The heat from it really helps.

Given up on EWM online. We have 2 new jumpers each from George being delivered tomorrow. But I would have loved one of the tartan scarves from EWM. :(

afternoon to one and all. Snow has gone and it is wet and windy now.

I managed to wake up with a cough from nowhere this morning, so not happy about that. Pretty shattered from yesterdays outing too.

Glad you found Barbara's post Toni, just a glitch, after your busy day.

All the snow has melted, apart from on Pendle Hill, it is two coats colder up there tcold cfly

Glad you could get out and about and there was no ninny walking involved.

Dad had already been up for his paper when we rang, I think most of the snow had gone.
Miss Sleek will like it up at Tarn Moor, there will be little herbs and things, in the new woodland. They will be able to fly over to Embsay Crag and to Bolton Abbey, all beautiful places to visit. Pepe will pick a sunny day, when there are no storms forecast

So, that is why he has been peering out of the window, reading what Miss Sleek is writing in the sky, with her wand. "don't eat batch number 52 of your food"........:lol:  As well as sending her love of course.

Your poor neihgbour, having a bone infection from the pressure sore. They will be super strong and will leave her feeling pretty washed out too.
Let's hope she can go onto oral AB's and then go home, where there will be less bugs. Everything crossed for the surgeons visit to go well.

There is normally one person in a bay, who, through no fault of their own, seem to create a lot of noise and general disturbance. A very tiny lady, with a large voice, bless her eh.

Did the plumber sort out whatever he had to sort? Then Lucy is having her hair done tomorrow, we will all be too posh.

I hope you neighbour enjoys a little drinkies in the shed tonight. He deserves one for sure. Barbara will be in there at the moment, if there is a choir practice on tonight.

Hi Joan, no heating since last night, this is not good enough, do they not have an obligation to provide heat and hot water !! It is so wrong that you have to sit or lie there, shivering. Great shame on the owners. Hope the dentist went ok and the scan results show some improvements.

I am glad all your snow has gone Barbara. We had quite a bit, but it was soon vanishing this morning. It is a cold wind though, with storm Fion on the way.
Yes, Matron will be there with some horrid tasting tonic and strange coloured smoothies

I hope Mr B is feeling a bit better now.

I did do too much yesterday and I think it is payback day today, my get up and go and got up and gone  :?

Hi Kath, sending you some extra hugs for those ouchies, along with the unicorn juice.

I am glad you have your fur stole, we all need fur coats in this weather. (Faux fur of course). I will have one like Liberache :lol:

Good that you have some new jumpers on the way, but a pity about the Woolen Mill scarf.

Right, I am typing more errors than sense, so I will have to leave and go potter and make T.
Hi to everyone else, keeping warm and staying safe I hope.

Ready for my siesta too. XXX Aidan

Evening to all, a chilly one, sleet / snow / high winds - pretty normal weather really   It is melting as fast as it is sleeting, so that's fine.

Hi Barbara, sorry Mr B is still not well, we did manage to get him to the Drs last time and he had an infection, we might have to do it again.
I am hoping mine will ease off and not develop into the usual infection I often get at this time of year  I am using my ventolin inhaler, (don't tell my Cardio, he said no, don't use it) :? :? It has helped a bit and I have only used it sparingly.

I guess Dad does kind of have a routine, but he soon gets distracted and does something else. We keep him reminded of what is going on and when.
Dentist for Dad today, so B will go in with him, just as support really. I will sit in the car.
Then to the vets, for more food
    Then Sains' for some groceries.

We will wait until Friday for a coffee at the GC. Our bridge in the village has been closed for weeks, due to someone hitting the wall (it happens umpteen times a year). It is only one car wide and people approach it too fast.
It is a round the houses to the next village to get to the GC via the next bridge

I am glad your Son did move away from the big company that has gone under. They had thousands of employee's, terrible for them.

Pepe found a new snoozing place this evening.

Quite why he looks so small and the dryer looks so HUGE, I am not sure :lol: Miss Sleek will admire his picture.

I think we all need a share of some of Silvers magic sparkles.

    unicorn.jpg.662x0_q70_crop-scale.jpg

I hope everyone else is as ok as can be, Kath, let's get those possums working on the ouchies, we need them eased.

Joan, I really hope you have heating, it is not right that they can leave you without it in this weather. We are ready to do battle with the housing association.

I trust the shed was busy and amiable Toni, Sleek was saying that lots of peeples were going into a hut
Lucy is having her hair done today, very nice it will look too.

Carol is on countdown, are we at day nine now? Getting closer.

Hi too, to Christine, Kerrin, Mig, Toady, Charrisse, Elizabeth DD and all.

Time I was moving. Tennis is on, we have so much to watch and catch up on..............not too bad with the tennis, from Melbourne, we can catch up with it in the daytime, when they are all in bed.

Then there is ski jumping at the week end and downhill and slalom and tennis..........

Everyone take lots of care, keep safe. XXXX Aidan

Morning Joan :) A break from the alendronic acid!! That's great :) I hope all went ok at the dentist and is the heating sorted?

Poor Kath so frustrating not to be able to buy something you want very much :( The stole sounds to be a Godsend at least :)

Oh Aidan! SPLAT!!!!! straight in that maple cream pie lovely!! We need to have that one again :)

How is your cough? Has it gone??? I hope so :(

Yes Miss Sleek writes him messages in the sky. Sorry about the sachet warnings :? She is a monkey! Did you think Pepe was looking out of the window at birds??

She is so looking forward to their trip out when the weather improves. Not today things have been blown over by the gale-ish winds and sleet last night :( She has her Tiara polished ready. Her basket (the one with the gingham covers over it) is ready to fill with herbs.

She has printed off the photo (he is adorable Tia and Lucy squealed at his photo!) and inside her house on the wall.

I hope the bridge gets fixed soon so you can get to the GC easier.

Lucy is ready for her hairdo yes....multiple unicorn colours.

Barbara your OH might be unwell for a good while it's taking people weeks to get over it :( only about 7 days REALLY il though bless him :)

I heard that about getting higher notes as you get older....clearly that isn't affecting us

Was that Carillion Barbara? One of Paul's biggest customers gets a lot of work from them so he isn't sure how that will pan out either.

    Have I missed Carol now?

Afternoon to everyone, snow free, apart on the tops of Pendle. Lots of rain and winds though.

Hi Joan, I hope you can have a break from the AA too. Let's see how the scan went and hopefully some better news.

Me, I am barking and wheezing. Just back from the Drs. My chest was a lot worse today, than yesterday, so I rang at 1pm and was seen at 2pm, which isn't bad.

Steroids galore and antibiotics, so I will be painting the ceiling, like Trish used to do. Steroids always make me super peckish. My Oxygen sats were down to 91%  I thought, oh dear, they are going to send me into the treatment rooms, for a nebuliser, but the Dr didn't. I could tell he was thinking about it and I was thinking, let me out :lol:

So, Mr B, listen to Matron, who thought he would be ok by today and ended up worse, don't delay if you are worried about your cough.

Dad was ok at the Dentist, just a clean, go back in a year.

Do keep us updated about the heating.

Hi Toni, I thought you might like that cream pie, we can have it again, no trouble at all.

The cough, no, not gone, worse, but, with the steroids and ab's I will be fine. It gives my joints a bit of a break when I am on prednisolone, working on my chest and my joints :D then you have to stop them :(

I thought Pepe was watching next door, which he likes to do, when all the time he was reading codes and looking at Love hearts from Miss Sleek.

They will be glad when the weather alerts are given the all clear, it was blowing a hoolie here last night, bits of trees etc littering the roads. It was fair whistling round.

A gingham cover, with elastic around the edges to make them all gathered. Very Doris Day. :D:D

It can be windy up at Tarn Moor, so best pack a warm fleece to snuggle under. She will need to use hair grips to keep her tiara stable

Aw, bless, squealing at Pepe's picture, he is a love  I know the dryer can take 8kg, but it looked the size of an industrial one

It is a shock, the big company going under, there was mention of the Govt bailing them out, but that seemed to fade away to nothing.

Hope Lucy's hair looks lovely, I am sure it does.

Hi Barbara Pepe was very comfy in the dryer, he was fast asleep and would he come out, would he buffalo. I had to wrestle him out in the end

my chest will start to improve now, given the pills and ab's. Glad I went, I knew it was worse than yesterday and I was squeaking when I was breathing  I was amazed to get an appointment within an hour. I did say I have COPD and bad heart, she said, oh dear, can you come in at 2.

We did our shop, before lunch, vets, supermarket, etc.

I will enjoy the GC tomorrow, you have to take the prednisolone with food, so a large scone is essential

Keep and eye on Mr B, he might well need the Dr to see him at some point soon.

Best not to have Niamh come over, if our Mr B is carrying lurgies  :?

I had better potter, let me go see what there is for Toni to face plant into.

Love to everyone, will be back later XXXX Aidan

    Evening all

Hope you have all had a good all is well here we have had sun but it has been cold and dry. Hearing aids still being worn in the evening by Mr T have spent the last hour trying to get pictures of Lillies unicorn birthday card and and present onto laptop so that I can post them here hopefully you will be able to see them

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/dupc316h22xlsnn/Lillies birtday card .jpg?dl=0
I am sure she will like both. will be back in a moment I have to do a little potter and a couple of jobs.
    Ok I'm back again
yes Toni it looks like good choices we made mind you we did have a three course meal on the Saturday so was still quite surprised. I am crocheting the blanket it is just a large Granny square really but doing lots of different colours when I get a bit further on with it I will take a photo of it and put it on here. Always make sure I have my wrist bands with me since the very first cruise I ever went on and found out how well they work for me anyway they don't work with some people will put a picture on for you tomorrow of me with them on, on the way home on our last cruise
 8 full days to go till the few days away.

Aidan this weather doesn't help the joints either I know mine have been aching a lot lately. hope the sparkles have helped the drinks to stay in the cups without being knocked over.
have had to change the top I brought as it was a bit tight and it was not as nice as it looked on the website and I didn't really like it so today I have sent off for another one and the other one will go back. we can have so heavy snow at times but quite often we may have it but it soon disappears. metal heaty thing is still working away to keep us warm. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone it cannot come fast enough even though we were only down there last month for Graycies birthday.

Barbara have had to change the top as it wasn't as nice as it sounded and looked online when I tried it on so now waiting for a different one to arrive.

well must off to bed in a moment so night night all t4591 t115006 t69044

Evening to one and all. Cool and clear tonight.

Still barking and wheezing, but up to speed with the ab's, making sure I get three in by midnight. Feel a bit washed out, but pottering along, albeit a bit slower.

Very glad I got a fast appointment with the GP though.

Hi Carol, the pictures came through fine, the card with the Unicorn's is lovely and the shopkins are fab, I want one :lol: It was worth your efforts to transfer the pictures :) Thank you.

Glad to hear Mr T is wearing his aids, well done, no telly on super loud  and the metal heat machine is working as it should.

Looking forward to seeing the crocheting when you are further on with it.
If I get really cold, it sends my lower back into spasm and that is horrid, it does the same for my neck and shoulders. Cool is fine, but not wind chill tcold cfly

I haven't thrown anything across the kitchen today - I did pour tonic water onto the t bags, to make t, instead of boiling water   :?:lol: it's a shame.

Sometimes clothes look fab online or catalogue, then when you see them or try them, they are way off the mark. Better to send it back and try another one instead.

7 days now, won't be long. Are you off out for lunch and then coffee with your friend today?

Hi Barbara, how is Mr B t2507 sending lots of sparkles his way and if he is no better to see Dr on Monday, or sooner if you are worried. Hope you are ok and not coughing.
Was it choir practice tonight, I am sure I heard loud and tuneful voices in the distance.

I hope you made it to the right Church

Hi Toni, Lucy's hair looks lovely, saw her pic on FB :D 8) I hope Barbara was steady on her feet tonight, I didnt want to mention the Cid--r consumption :lol::lol:

You will be off to see your neighbour today, send her my best wishes and some extra sparkles. Silver was flying over the hospital again this evening.

Pepe is :animal_busy: at the moment, curled up on my cushion on my comfy chair. They had a rather disturbed siesta time, with me coughing and spluttering
There has been some carpet gliding and little chirrups. I think they are looking forward to getting out and about on their brooms, just today left with weather warnings for snow  which I had not noticed...........
We need to get to the GC, I need my scone, have not been there in over a week   their profits will be slumped.

Saturday I think Hermione said the brooms will be fully active and she has installed a new spell book on them, teeny ones, which only hogwart trained cats can read.

Christine I trust you are as ok as can be - sending ((())) your way. We are enjoying watching the Aussie Open from Melbourne, it is 42 degrees today. m0150  not the best for playing up to five set tennis.

Joan I hope your heating is up and running again.

Toady, how are you doing with the meds? any changes made, or improvements noted?

Kath, I will send you some ((())) to make sure those ouchies are less troublesome today. Two more bush babies will be over asap.

Kerrin will be looking forward to her week end, to unwind. I bet it has been a hectic week. I am sure some Sparkles will not go amiss t115006

Hi To mig, Elizabeth, Charrisse, DD and all

Well I had better have a potter round. Everyone take lots of care and keep warm and safe. XXXX Aidan

ps, all the lovelies are well, Silver Moon is always on hand to make sure that everything is running like clockwork and all our animals are super well cared for.

Some cranberry and walnut bread, with lots of butter and jam of course.

Oh Aidan I hope the ABs kick in ASAP! I am so glad you have steroids too to open up the airways and get the oxygen sats up. ((())) t69044

Standing still and the cold also do the same to my back :(

Thank you Lucy's hair looks great in real life too I hope she didn't post the snapchat one with fake specs on? I will look later.

Miss Sleek was on the Crystal ball to Pepe yesterday she is struggling to keep calm waiting to collect her herbs with her beloved Pepe. He did her some carpet gliding and told her you seem to have a hairball stuck at the moment  Her new spell-book is in her house with her Tiara and tiara boxes and her jar of pendle mist and her broom of course :) and her Pepe pictures!

The girls adored him he looked so small and fluffy :)

The basket is very Doris Day indeed and I have warned her about hairgrips for Tarn Moor

Barbara was ok this week at choir. No strange cider smells although her voice was still lovely so she must have been to the shed on her way :?

Cranberry and walnut bread for breakfast...oooh! It's still warm! Thank you :) So is the Romanian bread :) Please more of that maple pie!! any day!!!

Carol the unicorn card is totally WOW!!! Lillie will adore it well-done :) t115006 I adore shopkins they are so sweet :D

Goes to show that the SW plan is a good one as it trains you to be able to live a normal life just make wise choices at mealtimes. A lot of diets yo couldn't even go out!

I thought you might be crocheting the blanket. You have inspired me I might get mine out too t4591

I will get some bands too for the cruise I only had one bad day om the one I went on before, but that was enough!!

Barbara if OH hasn't turned the cornet soon he will need to see the DR....I know men!

You are very wise to keep away from Niamh I agree until he is better and please don't catch it yourself!

    Nice singing last night c065.gif
a bit icy when we came out though :)

Hello!! to Joan :) Are you and Sue ok? Is the heating working? It's very cold here:(

I hope Aiden is starting to feel better with the steroids and ABs.

I should have popped in yesterday to remind you of the Big Cat program on last night at 8pm. But it is repeated on Sunday.

My Uncle in Australia had a second stroke and after a week in hospital, he sadly died. He was one of mum's younger brothers.

Afternoon to all, hail, sleet, chilly winds too.

Thank you for the hugs everyone. Most kind. I am sure another 24 hours and I will be a little less jaded.

I knew something was amiss, hence the rush to the GP. The steroids and AB's will work. Just takes a little while. It really did come from nowhere, tickly cough one day then chest infection the next.

As Pepe rightly said to Miss Sleek, I am having regular hair balls   :? :? He keeps looking at me, when it is nap time, of course, the moment you lay down, you start

The pic of Lucy is the one with the big specs on Toni :lol: they look ok 8) 8)

Miss Sleek will need a bigger house, or is it a bit like Hermione's tent, with many rooms? I bet it is.

Definitely hair grips for Tarn Moor cfly

I think Barbara was steady away popping into the shed, just the one. Glad her singing was on the money.

    Maple pie? Again? Ok

Maple Brown sugar cream pie, with brown sugar meringue, if you so please :)

oh, go on then, your favourite too

Hi Joan, let us know about the heating, what the boss says and if they are actually capable of fixing the problem.
Thank you for the hugs, I am sure I will be soon on the mend.

Hi Barbara, thank you for the hugs, I think I caught the chest infection early enough, the steroids do mask some of the ouchies that's for sure, but cannot stay on them. Now, this plan, for Mr B to go to see the Drs. Pray tell.
I hope it works and he is seen before the week end. The longer it lingers, the worse it can get.........

Hi Kath, will look out the big cat programme and catch up. I know you said the last one was very good.

I will feel less breathless soon, once everything kicks in a little more.

That is very sad to hear of your Uncles passing. Had he lived in Australia a long time. t115006 t4591

I must potter. Dryer has finished. Washer is about to finish. I know, I should be resting. As if.

We did go to the GC and I did have a large scone, with butter, cream and jam, well, I had to have it to take my steroids with :? :?:lol: It was very quiet really.

Love to everyone in and around and about.

Take care, keep warm. XX Aidan

    Evening all
have been a bit busy this evening on my old laptop that I have always kept as a spare taking off all my photos and documents off it , as Mr T wants to return it to factory settings to give it to our church to use for the words of the hymns on a Sunday to project on a large screen to save the need to use hymn books. which is always having problems and closing down during a hymn. I wasn't overly happy in the first place when he suggested it, but as he has a spare one which is newer than mine, and has told me if anything goes wrong with mine I can use that one I agreed. He has been bugging me for ages to finish off transferring everything of mine on to a memory stick for ages now, nearly finished it.

Weather here today was again sunny but with a cold wind. new tops came today so need to see if they fit. Have now made a birthday card for youngest grand daughter who's birthday is three days after Lillies today. picture to follow
Think I can say the motivation has rekindled think I will be doing more.

Aidan yes I was rather pleased with the card have now done one for youngest granddaughter Kaci for her Birthday. have put a picture on. you want shopkins do you ? ha ha, but they are rather cute. Hearing aids and metal heat thingy all good. I have put water on to a t bag without boiling it . 6 days to go now new tops arrived today just need to try them on to check them out. no my friend cancelled as she has the flu herself. but did have lunch out with Mr T. Hope you are feeling a bit better soon sending love and sparkles t4591 t115006 .

Toni I think shopkins are cute too. That is what I love about going to it trains if you make wise choices you can go out without problems. Glad I have inspired you to get your crocheting out, what are you making?.

Joan I jolly well hope they sorted Sue's radiator out today. have a good weekend.

Barbara Have received the new tops today have not tried them on yet so will let you know.
Hope your plan to get Mr B to the doctors works.

Kath sorry to hear the news about the loss of your uncle sending you hugs (((()))).

time to go need apiece of that chocolate cake first it looks scrummy Aidan
love and sparkles t4591 t115006 to you all.

Hi to one and all - hope everyone is keeping safe and warm.

Toni seems to have enjoyed the maple cream pies, so I had to call the clean team in

    23%20propowerclean%20%5BAP%5D.jpg?itok=ZBqZ-wq3

    All spick and span now.

How was your neighbour today? I hope she is doing as well as possible, any news of a tentative discharge date? I bet she is more than ready.

I see they have given a snow warning for parts of Scotland again, asking people not to travel. I hope you Sister is ok and Mrs Darcey, Sleek will have been in contact with her I am sure.

All our three puskins are exhausted from my attempts at hair balling. What was going to be a little nap, ended up as a protracted coughing fiasco. I could not settle, up, down, get up, go back to bed, fidget, cough, throw covers off, covers on.........I had no idea where Pepe and Cookie where? Somewhere in the mix.
I was glad to get up. Pepe didn't even have a chance to natter to miss Sleek, but I am sure he will do, overnight, telling her of the noise and disturbance from Daddy.

Did you manage to get Mr B to the Drs Barbara? I hope your plan came to fruition.

Hi Carol, you sound to have been very busy with the laptop, taking all the pictures and files off.
Good idea to have the hymns projected onto a screen, saves people having to keep their heads lowered to peer at the hymn books.
You have a promise of a newer laptop as well, if anything goes wrong with yours, even better :)

I hope the new tops are suitable, they were quick to arrive. Another card made and more to follow by the sounds of things. 6 days now, best be packing.

Shopkins are cute, for sure. Children have so much choice when it comes to toys and the like, compared to things we had as youngsters. Action man, tonka toys, meccano - versus Sindy, Barbie, Tiny Tears.......

sorry your friend has flu, not nice at all. But lunch was good with Mr T.
Thank you for the Love and Sparkles :) I will be on the mend asap

melting chocolate brownies looked SO good.

We have the tennis on from Melbourne, caught up with the ski flying from Obersdorf, it looked wonderful with all the trees covered in snow and frost. I want to go to Lapland (stamping of feet). hcold

No emails to say we have won the lottery, so Lapland might have to wait

Right, onwards, I must potter. Hi to all our other friends, Kerrin, Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Charrisse, Elizabeth and all.

Love to all. Take lots of care, Magical Sparkles from Silver
