Kath glad you got to do the trail..must say its a lot milder here
Toni I see..how awful for you neighbour..I hope they can rid her of the infection at least..gosh I feel for her and I did say a prayer.. hope that cough isn't to bad..I have never known so many people poorly..glad to hear your ECG was ok best to be checked out...
Carol I am glad the tops were fine..and you are now all set for the weekend and your Birthday... yes my OH definitely needs to be on the naughty step..we did have words..
Aiden I hope last night wasn't too bad for you..hopefully the ABs are kicking in..what will we do when they stop working completely its such a worry.. what about the tennis..and the young man Kyle Edmunds beating dmitrov..sorry not sure of the spelling and Nadal is out..and you have all the paperwork sorted ..thankyou for the waffles ..gosh they are so moorish...think I had a couple to many..

Yes a teacher without a voice is not good. Voice a bit better today but think I’m going to give it one more day before I go back. Not on antibiotics as haven’t been to the doctor, will see in the morning. Luckily both football and netball is cancelled at school
Tomorrow so easier not to be there.
The visit to the hospital was interesting. Didn’t see the Rheumy but the nurse. My MRI does show inflammation of the fingers but not damage. We have decided to go off methotrexate for a while and see if the headaches etc stop and re-evaluate in 6 weeks. In the meantime if my fingers flare up I must contact them. I’m happy with this as am not convinced methotrexate is working. Watch this space!
And yes the tennis, having a chest infection has its advantages and I watched tennis all morning. Go Kyle.
Hugs to everyone!!

Hope this makes sense!
Afternoon Barbara I just hope my neighbour is allowed home with strong enough oral ABs. Thanks for saying a little prayer for her and Aidan lit candles so hopefully.
I am upset I can’t go until this cough eases off I can’t risk giving her anything can I :?
Oh no you’re coughing too? I hope you can stay well and am very pleased to hear hubby has had a chest Xray and ABs
Joan you two should not have to live in the kitchen with the convector heater!! That is terrible I hope the parts come and are fitted before the weekend grrrr!!!!
Oh gosh Emily tripped on mash and you stuck on your back for 15 mins (safety first though) Kath Miss Slimkins adores the flowery headband. She says she will wear it in the spring for definite
Well done getting to the co-op
Thank you for the candles for my neighbour Aidan she is so sweet she needs something to go right soon :?
We will all be ok we all seem to be hanging on in here somehow in our house…..although some of these bugs pretend you are coping then – bang! All of a sudden you are flat on your back
The herbs were taken to the ravine (thanks for the detour Hermione!) and I am sure they are doing what they are supposed to
Miss Sleek today cleaning her toenails! Glad Pepe has pinned up yesterday’s photo.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1z87-MK8If2PcZGaNGSJ9QmqhoyjS4Ym-/view?usp=sharing
I didn’t miss the chocolate cream pie of course not just forgot to thank you Ooops! It was lovely had to wear shower cap with hair being freshly washed though!!
I am glad to hear the meece has gone and that the ABs seem to have helped fingers crossed this course will be enough. I know you aren’t silly and will go straight to the Doc if it looks like coming back. You are NOT Mr B!!
Those waffles were fabulous I love pecan too. Perfect (pronounce in a French accent please)!!
Kerrin you poorly girl I hope Rheumatology have some answers for you and your husband was able to go with you ((())) Get well soon – Just saw you there! So a trial off your MTX? Worth a try and don’t worry there really ARE other meds to try. Wise to have another day off too
Carol I am relieved that you saved all your stuff off the computer before Mr T got his hands on it!!
I think Sleek was showing off for Pepe her beloved. Do you like today’s piccie? Doing her toenails
I am so glad your tops fit nicely so you are all set for your trip away then? Just a few things to do before you go including the fortnightly meal with Church. Are you weighing in tonight? Just incase fingers crossed for you.
We have recorded call the midwife – even Paul loves it!
Off to bed early for me I am headachy too now
Love
Toni xx0 -
Evening all
Hope you have had a good day well now 2 full days to go and then the big birthday weekend starts on Friday. and whatever happens at weigh in next Tuesday happens and I will deal with it after having another celebratory meal out with just me and Mr T on my actual birthday on the Tuesday evening. Today I gained the 1/2 lb I lost last week so sitting at the top of my target once feeling a bit like a yoyo again. so next week will very interesting indeed
Aidan Glad the ABs seem to be working fingers crossed you only need the one lot. yes that's why weigh in will be interesting as we have the church meal on Thursday and then a weekend not entirely on plan the home Sunday, then weigh in again on Tuesday.
I have always loved call the midwife I have watched every series. that's one programme that even Mr T will watch.
Yes peace has been restored well he has organised everything for this weekend so I think he deserves to be forgiven.
and very busy days ahead indeed. loved the pictures of Pepe and Sleek very photogenic. I will have to find out some old pictures of our lovely Snowie to show you all.
Joan just 2 days to go we are off to see family on Friday.
Barbara Think every house needs a naughty step and yes words needed definitely. . Glad you managed to get Mr B to the Drs however you managed it Mr T is a bit like that too. Sorry to hear you are now coughing so many people with this at the moment.
Toni I too was very glad that I had saved all what I wanted to off the laptop so do I care no Yes loving Sleeks toenail cleaning picture so sweet . Yes I did weigh gained 1/2 lb so once again sitting at the top of my target I might have guessed that would happen this week leading up to off plan weekend but I will sort it out after if I go up and out of target and if I have to pay for a couple of weeks cos I am out of target I have to pay .
it that time again for another potter before bed
love and sparkles to everyone. t4591 t4591 t115006 and these as a little extra for all the sick t2507 peeples t69044 t69044 t69044Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to one and all............seems to be two steps back today, much coughing and spluttering.  One more full day on my AB's and then I will be reviewing come Friday.
Hi Kath, poor Em slipping and hurting her knee. We don't want any more ouchies, best be sending some sparkles t115006 t115006 we are all in in the wars at the moment.
Nurse was right not to let you get up for a few minutes. Bless, flat on your back. Ouch.
The Spring headdress is wonderful and I am sure Miss Sleek will love it and keep it safe, for the first signs of warmer weather.
Nice that you managed a little rest on the benches at Sawley Co Op, despite the drizzle.
Oh Joan, that is not right, for you both to be in the kitchen with a convector heater. So annoying and SO not acceptable. I wish we could help you both and get the association to put their house in order and provide the basic things that people need, hot water, heating and a reliable system.
Sending you some extra hugs and some sunshine m0150 I am glad it is not below freezing like last week.
Hi Barbara, well, Mr B is on AB's and has been for his chest x ray, so that's a good start. Crackles and bubbles, sounds like a chest infection for sure.
Oh dear, he found out that the Dr was not visiting, oh well, never mind eh, at least he is getting some medical treatment, rather than laying in bed and being stubborn. Men, I despair
Now, you are coughing too, oh my, we need an extension to our ward in the cafe, I will call Dr Clooney and Matron Hattie and Charlie and Duffy, so that we can all seek medical attention as and when. I hope yours goes as soon as it came. I thought mine was all but gone, but we have taken a step back today   typical.
They are trying to develop new antibiotics, it is such a long time since new ones came to the market and of course, the bugs become so resistant to them, we end up with super bugs..........vicious circle at the moment. They have been over prescribed for many years. Having said all that, I will be going back for some more at the drop of a hat
The tennis is getting really exciting, Kyle played an amazing match against Dimitrov who is seeded number 3. Now Nadal has pulled out, it is a race now, with Roger wanting to defend his title, it will be very good over the coming days.
Don't worry, you can never have too many waffles, impossible.
Hi Kerrin, you do right, not going in to work and with games lessons being cancelled, the best place is to be at home at the moment.
Don't leave it too long, if you are worried about a chest infection. We are all dropping like flies with one thing and another
I am glad you had an interesting visit to see the Rheumy nurse, so the Mtx is being left off for a while and see how things go. So no damage to the joints in your fingers, but they are inflamed.
They might well try another drug, Mtx does not work for everyone and there are plenty others that can be tried.
I thought you might be watching the tennis, isn't it amazingly good, such a shake up in the top players now. It is Federa's to win and defend, but he has some stiff competition this time round, with Berdych, Kyle, Cilic, all playing lights out.
(((()))) hugs back to you t4591 t4591
Hi Toni, of course you are upset that you cannot visit your neighbour. I would be too, but, you don't want to risk any bugs, for you or for her, which I am sure you know all too well.
You are more than welcome for the candles, it takes no time to light a candle and concentrate ones thoughts and prayers. Mum and Dad always had one lit whenever they were in. Focuses the mind, my Dad used to say. I often burn T lights, just in the background.
Showering your neighbour with Blessings
You are quite right about these bugs, leading you into a false sense of feeling better.............then wham. I have the Drs on speed dial and I will be ringing on Friday if I am still barking. Pepe thought I had got rid of all my "hairballs", but, it seems not.................watch this space.
Glad you are all holding your own, help yourselves to the blessings, there are plenty to go round.
Miss Sleek is just adorable, doing her nails bless. Pepe is all dreamy eyed and smiling, aaah, bless em.
I did notice some chocolate pie on the window  , so I guessed you hadn't missed it. Wise to wear the shower cap.
Waffles were extremely good and of course, in my best French. Pecan, gaufres, s’il vous plaît
So you all like Call the Midwife as well. Wonder why I never got into it, not sure really.............
Hope your cough is easing and you headache has gone away.......
Hi Carol, 2 days, yeah, counting down very quickly now. Don't worry about the weigh in, you will be fine, you did so well over Christmas, I am sure this week end won't spoil things, so you can enjoy yourself and maybe have a yummy pudding Cake, food for the soul.
Mr T has everything organised for the week end, bless his cotton socks
Yes, do put some pictures on of Snowie, we would all love to see them. Pepe and Sleek are selfie mad, doing their poses for each other.
Thank you for the love and sparkles, we need them in abundance here at the moment.
I seem to have stopped barking for a while now................so I will do the same as you Carol and have a potter round. I can tell the steroids have finished, the ouches are more ouchy once more. Not to worry, we have to carry on.
B wants to go to Hobbycraft today, so we will take Dad, it is only 25 mins away, plus there is a nice Costa there, so I am persuaded by toasties and cake.
Hi to everyone else, to Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Charisse, Elizabeth and all, in and around and about.
Take lots of care, love to all XXX Aidan
Breakfast is Souffled Omlet with Asparagus and Sweet Peppers.
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
Carol 1/2lb is nothing. You did well to keep within target. If you gain a tiny bit with the big weekend coming up you will soon sort it Wise choices and your actual birthday meal won't affect it will it being on the Tuesday?
Thank you Sleek did look rather gorgeous didn't she? She said she would like to see more Snowie photos too.
Friday is really close now.....
Good Morning Aidan Eating souffle'd omelette (sp) as I type....yum yum....
Off to hobbycraft today are you? What fun I love it there, but can overspend  still if there's a costa...emmental and mush toastie for me and Lucy please!
Me miss chocolate cake? NEVER!!! especially if it is oozy creamy too Votre Francais c'est formidable!!!
I just told Miss Sleek that Pepe loves her toe-nail photo (we would never send anyone a photo like that would we? even if we could....) she is so pleased and off practising new poses for later maybe....
Oh how lovely is the blessing Aidan! I very much hope it helps my neighbour too.
Oh dear watch the barking I know you will. Pepe says he was up 'all night' with you again   gross exaggeration I know!
I am sorry the bones are reminding you they are there, but hope you appreciated the respite.
Let's hope 'Acting Nurse Barbara' does not get really poorly too as I doubt Mr B will have 'recovered' enough to nurse her :? :?
Call The Midwife is lovely just enchanting and set probably in the 50's and 60's when our parents were young. That's why I like it. My Mum was in London in those times too so it always makes me think of her.
A quick Woo-ooooo! To Joan I hope the boiler parts have arrived earlier tan expected though I doubt it. I am so upset for youa nd Sue
Must get on

Im ok thank you everyone who asked after me, been learning crochet and I got totally absorbed ,will post some photos of what I have been working on (if I can remembered how to ).0
-
Crochet, what fun. I cross stitch but crochet and knitting is out with my fingers. Cross stitch is ok in moderation.
Just let School know I won’t be in tomorrow. Feel so guilty as this is not a very bad chest infection (yet) but not budging. And tomorrow I would have do do assembly and teach 2 PE lessons.
Been trying to get apt with doctor all day. Ok not all day but tried both this morning and afternoon to get an appointment and by the time I got through there was nothing. Think I’m going to be at the surgery when it opens tomorrow.
Aidan hope your cough is improving.
One advantage of being ill is I can watch the tennis tomorrow.

Afternoon to one and all, dry but very cfly cfly
Hi Toni, je vous remercie, tu parles francais aussi
I could have eaten than omelette all day long I think...........it looked so good.
Off we all went to Hobbycraft, B spent a little bit more than he expected on seed beads and other wonderfully sparkly things :? :? never mind, he loves his hobby.
Costa was very welcome, lots of coffee, toasties, cakes (a new one, melting salted caramel cake). There are so many eateries on the shopping complex, Nando's, KFC, Frankie and Benny's, Greggs, Subway, Pizza Hut, Starbucks................
Dad enjoyed the look round, we had a quick nosey into poundland plus.
Then back to our Sainsb and home.
I knew you would not miss the chocolate cream pie, I was just a little cautious in case you had a coughing do, when you had face planted   :? Hence I put some more spoons out, we like spoons...........
Pepe did like Sleeks toe nail ablutions photo. We all did. No, we would not be sending one, even if I could get in that position, I would not look graceful AT ALL
I am glad you liked the blessing, I thought it was just a lovely and light one, which is what your neighbour needs, love and light.
Barking overnight was not bad at all, despite Pepe telling Sleek that I have got furballs again. I have had a few coughs today, last day of AB's, so will review again tomorrow..............I think, he says, think, I will be ok..........time will soon tell.
Nurse Barbara is doing a splendid job looking after Mr B and hatching our plans worked wonders. Not that we know anything of course.
I think Mum used to watch call the midwife, it would be poignant to her, with me being born at home, a lonnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago.
We are all upset for Joan and Sue, it really is not on that two lovely people, who rely on carers to help every day, should be left sitting in their kitchen, with a convector heater. I would be on to the MP, the press and anyone else I could think of.
Hi Mig, waving to you Glad you are ok. I will take a look at the sites of old Nottingham. I see there are trams in the city now, not sure where I was looking when I noticed them, around the town hall square. Look forward to seeing some of your crochet work xx
Hi Joan, I hope that your boiler is fixed today and you are not left sitting in the cold. The temperatures will be dropping again as the week goes on and we do not want you to be going through all this messing about, it is not fair on you both. Very upset for you. Truly. ((())) Some m0150 warming hugs, and some sparkles, to get the magic working t115006 t4591
I would have the lady from the press come anyway, to say what a farce it has been, for so long.
I do feel a bit better today, thank you hun xxx
Hi Barbara, so, Mr B is onto us, he is suspecting that a plan has been hatched, well Mr B, it is for the greater good and to help you get better, hence we needed a plan of action, to have your chest listened to and see, it was crackling away and needed AB's. Just as Matron thought. It is my fault, I take full responsibility.
I will go to the naughty shed and forego my biscuits and T. (like heck I will)
I am barking less and B is doing ok at the moment, taking his Echinacea drops and we both take loads of soluble vit c and zinc each day.
Hope you enjoyed your trip out, was it windy, boy it was blowing through my troosers today   Tennis is super good at the moment. Go Kyle.
Right, I had better potter a minute or two, the washer has finished, so drying to sort out.
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, I hope you are feeling a little better and enjoying the tennis, it is getting to be a great Grand Slam event, mind you, we love every tournament.
Hi to Carol, I know you will be super busy this next day or two, take care, don't overdo things.
Hi to Christine, to Toady and DD and Elizabeth, thinking of you all.
Take care, love to all XXX Aidan. Now, cake, we need cake.

Evening all
Well 1 more full day to go and it will be a busy one making sure everything is packed and ready for Friday morning so that we ae not rushing around like headless chickens. fortunately it Is only making sure we have enough clothes and bits for 3 days so its not like packing for a full holiday but there a couple of toiletry things I still need to get from the shop but all needs to be done before about 5pm so that we will have an hour or so to have a cuppa and get ready to go out to our church meal because we don't get back till after 10pm from that, but at least I do not have cook anything tomorrow evening. But believe me I am so looking forward to this weekend feel after recent happenings in this house we both need a break away. some pictures for you

Aidan I will enjoy meals this weekend without worry and if I am out of the target next week which is very likely I will still be a big brave girl and weigh in, as log as I am not suffering payback from the weekend. and I know there is going to be a birthday cake because my youngest Daughters friend has made it. So a yummy pudding may not be needed. But will most certainly be having a yummy pudding when Mr T and I go out for meal next Tuesday on my actual Birthday. Yes MR T is has got it all sorted and arranged.
glad the ABs are working but the colds seem to be doing as you say one day your feeling a bit better the next day you are feeling under the weather again . think we need to get the sparkles bottles out again and sprinkle them very liberally hope you like the pictures of Snowie .
Toni I don't watch much TV but Call the midwife is one of my favourites have you read the books I have. not worried if I put weight on I will just work on taking it off again after all
you only get one 70th birthday. hope you enjoy my pictures of our Snowie.
Joan now very close now to Friday.sorry you are still having problems with your heating.
Barbara yes if it anything like the one we had for Mr T on his 70th at the same place it will be great fun. so looking forward to it now. now the Naughty shed maybe a good idea we could put mt t and mr b in there together yes not really worried if i gain a bit as i will soon deal with it when i come back.
Ok time for a potter now if I dont get a chance to post tomorrow I will catch up with you all later.
t4591 t115006 for you allStay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to one and all, chillier tonight, hopefully Joan and Sue have their heating sorted and are not resorting to a convector heater.............. :x :x
Almost time for off Carol and Mr T. I can tell you are super excited about going to see your family and enjoying the meal out with them all.
Cake, sounds like a plan to me. As you say, you are both ready for a mini break, given all the recent goings on.
The pictures are lovely, Snowie in the snow and Snowie with Mr T wonderful, thank you for sharing.
It is like having two Birthdays, one with the family get together, then the official one with Mr T on Tuesday. Most regal. Don't worry if you run out of time today, for posting, as long as we know you are ok and have a wonderful time, that is most important. Take lots of care xx
By all means, throw them sparkles far and wide, we all need some at the moment, to keep the bugs at bay. I will have to seek out another batch from Silver Moon.
Silver has left us a rainbow waterfall of magic sparkles, feel free to help yourselves. He is a star
I hope you and yours are all ok Toni, cough less troublesome and headache gone? Pepe has not been performing tonight, he is too comfy on a big bath towel at the moment :animal_busy:   He did natter with Miss Sleek earlier and was about to tell her what is going on in the ravine, with the herbs she gathered. When I woke up they both fell silent............. :?
Hi to everyone else, Kerrin, Mig, Barbara, Christine, DD, Toady, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all.
We have had a lazy evening, had a siesta and managed not to bark constantly. AB's have finished now, so will see how I go.
Podiatry this morning, well overdue, my feet are like trotters.  Nothing else planned, an at home day otherwise.
I will go potter, his Lordship is now awake and demands my attention in the kitchen.
Love to all, take lots of care XXXX Aidan
Crepes Bretonnes with caramel apple and salted butter
XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
How lovely Crepes for breakkie! Thanks Aidan as for my verbal skills juste un peu de français honnêtement!
Had my orange cake with plenty of clotted cream thank you (one of my 5 a day )
Miss Sleek has a notice board on the inside wall of her house and there is a list on it like a shopping list.... I can only make out the top one....black sampson :? :? :? what on earth is that? Is it a list of herbs she's after I wonder......
I didn't find out what happened in the ravine either, but I do know they are very pleased with themselves - Cheshire cat grins. They have a course at Hogwarts coming up I believe - archery for felines.
I am reliably informed that the fur ball seems to have gone although Pepe has yet to find it  I think he is looking for it Sounds like you got those ABs in the nick of time and B hasn't caught it so far
Spending money in hobbycraft is absolutely fine he deserves to enjoy his hobby.
Do you have a Zizzis near you? I love Zizziz....sigh..
I saw my neighbour's husband yesterday in the shed and he says she is now on oral ABs so hopeful that soon the H word may be mentioned again. They were struggling to get much out of the consultant yesterday, but might (might) be able to see the plastics (tissue viability) today. Even better news I can go so long as I use a mask myself when I get there. Clean hands are always the case and go without saying
I have collected some rainbow sparkles to take with me
Carol today will be very busy of course, but well worth it I think You do only get one special birthday like that so if you have a few calories over I would think you can be excused! Knowing you you will soon shift I if it goes on.
All must be packed ready if it will be a late night for you at least no cooking required tonight which means no washing up/clearing up afterwards too
I love the pictures of Snowie! He looks such a gentle dog such a sweet face He was really white too against the snow.
I have also read the Call the Midwife books like you!
Kerrin I very much hope you were well enough to telephone the Drs first thing or be outside waiting. If you are off the MTX for now you stand a chance of shifting the chest infection now ((()))
I remember you like cross stitch
School will cope 2 classes and assembly would have been far too much!
Mig!! We have all been wondering how you were! Enjoying crochet? Can't fault you!! I love it too.
I am off on a cruise at the end of next month
Barbara were you working with Nurse Clooney last night?! Did you take the hem up on your nurses uniform again? :?
I hope Mr B is on the mend by now and if he sussed you so what? It was for his own good
Choir practise tonight don't forget your mints
Joan I would be surprised if the radio don't need to come again, but I hope maybe I am wrong and the boiler is fixed? What about Sue's rad though? I am glad your neighbour is checking on the boiler too for you
I am feeling ok and visiting my neighbour in hospital today, but will wear a mask to be on the safe side - I do NOT want to give her anything do I?
Right onwards and upwards see you all later!
Love

Afternoon to all, from a very wet Ribble Valley. Chilly too.
Crepes, yes, nice and light and yet another of ones 5 a day, with the apples :? :?
I am sure your French is quite good - mine always improved when I was in an argument with the EDF or France Telecom
So Miss Sleek has a notice board. I have looked at the crystal ball and it would not be black samsonite as in suitcase, would it? Has word got out, that peeples are going aw-- on holid--
Pepe will be the fist to know if it has, there will be quite a drama
We have new members to our magic circle, from the ravine, those herbs were just what was needed. Silver moon was in need of a friend. I have caught a glimpse of another Unicorn or two, yes, Silver has a friend and family
I spy a little one too...........we are blessed, well done to Miss Sleek, for finding the right herbs to complete the spell.
No wonder there have been Cheshire cat grins all round. Now they are off to Hogwarts for archery training   oh my.
A few hairball incidents in the night and some today, but nowhere near as bad as I have been. B seems to be avoiding it all so far, which is fine. We need someone who has their wits about them.
Feet are a lot happier after my podiatry this morning. Popped into the vets for more of his Lordships sachets. He has been examining the boxes and marking them.........little terror, he had better eat them.
Zizzi's, no, not heard of that store, is it a hobby shop? I like the name.
That is good news, your neighbour is on oral AB's, so, not counting chickens, but the H word may come into play sooner rather than later.
Good that you can visit, I could tell you were most upset at not being able to go and see her. Wearing the mask is a wide move, as you say, the less bugs she is exposed to, the better. Trouble is, hospitals are full of bugs   you are better off in your own home environment.
Please send my love and sparkles when you go see her. t115006 t4591
Oh Barbara, that nurses uniform should never be worn so SHORT. No wonder George was distracted, even though I am sure that was not your aim........ :? :?
Choir practice tonight, lovely, I am sure everyone will be in fine voice, no straining of the vocal chords, or coughing will ensue.......I am sure Barbara will bring her mints
Hi Joan So they have replaced parts in the boiler and it is working again, but no heat in Sue's room   one step forward, one step back.
I feel a bit more human today thank you for asking. Will see how we go with siesta at T time. I have had enough of coughing now.
Oh Barbara, you wore stiletto's on duty as well, oh my goodness. Tottering up and down the ward, in a very short uniform   Where was Matron when we needed her
So, my cover was blown, never mind eh, we have to look after our friends and their family too, that includes Mr B, Mr T, Paul, Lucy, Charlie, Tia, Bill and so on.
Oh dear, he started to cough again, now, no laughter, another 24 hours of AB's, then you can chuckle.
We only went into Costa, I was a bit tempted with Frankie and Benny's, Dad was noseying in Nando's, but we said no, we don't really need a sit down meal. I was quite happy with my large coffee with extra shot and cakes.
I don't mind Lemon drizzle cake, they are fine.
Right, potter time, pill time, dryer just finished, so away I will go.
Hi to everyone else, in, around and about. Carol, I hope you are all sorted and ready for off.

Hi to one and all, still raining here, we will need an Ark :?
I hope everyone is as ok can be. How was your visit to see your neighbour Toni, I was sending lots of sparkles. Then you had choir practice, I trust Barbara remembered her mints this time
Carol and Mr T will be off on their week end away, to be with their family. I hope you have a safe journey and everything goes well.
Hi Kerrin, how are the fingers doing without the Mtx, maybe a bit early to tell.
I am wishing the cough and cold away, we need you to be well enough, the children will be missing you. t115006 How is Mr K, has he had a cold or cough too?
Did the heating engineer come back and sort out Sues radiator Joan? Or are you still having trouble with it. Poor Sue, when you cannot mobilise, you feel the cold so much more.
Hi to Christine, hope you are ok, eyes not too troublesome, with the boss and his family not leaving you swamped in housework.
How are you doing Elizabeth, recovering steadily after your op.
We have had a quiet evening, B is busy making and I am not doing a great deal to be honest, which makes a change. Intermittent pottering and fussing. Nice just to take a little time out.
All the puskins are ok, Pepe did some gliding, but stopped the minute I opened the camera  They are in awe of the Unicorn family, Miss Sleek was trying on her tiara, to welcome them all. There was a lot of chattering on cat book earlier, with Mrs Darcey, Tomi and Jericat, Cuddles, they were all nattering.
So, with three Unicorns, there will be an abundance of magical sparkles, far more than we could ever have envisaged.
Off to the GC this morning, we have not been there this week, I know, a large scone is more than overdue.
Shipping order of repeat prescriptions to pick up, carrier bags full   some groceries and that will be enough. Then we can stay at home for the week end
I will away and potter. Everyone take lots of care. Love to all. XXX Aidan

How adorable are the Unicorn family.
I know it's Friday, but my mind and body keep telling me it's Saturday. I think the sky is starting to look a little brighter. Archery training. I used to do that at Boots College in the 60s. Don't think my hands would cope now. Bad enough struggling to grt the lid off the bleach bottle.
Talking of Costas Aidan, they now provide filtered water fre, to fill your bottle with.

That's lunch sorted Kath Thank you very much. My bro and his family are all into archery they love it.
I won't forget the bird watch and am hoping it will be as bright as it is today
Joan I hope you and Sue enjoy your shopping expedition
Hi Aidan Just back from Lucy's medical for her job at school. All is well it was just to check up on the epilepsy Had my breakfast before we went thank you very much
My neighbour was well to be honest. She is now on oral meds so getting home must be getting closer. I suspect the consultant on the ward will be happy to let her go home if microbiology are happy. We need her home ASAP as her skin is deteriorating in there  Sparkles were all over her and her bed
Barbara was a bit late for choir practise - she got held up in the shed, but her singing was fine when she got there No alcohol smell she actually WAS there! via snapchat
Miss Sleek sneaked into the spare rom while I was at choir and Paul watching TV and Lucy downstairs....she was able to skype to her hearts content. The subject is definitely the unicorn family much shrieking (Lucy heard them). Apart from the herbs I think Silver had to check it was safe before bringing his family here - what an honour!
I have looked at the noticeboard and think the suitcase is just the one Sleek keeps her crystal ball in so secret is safe so far.
Pepe has updated her to the hairball status and he seems happy enough that most of them are up and gone - although he still hasn't found them
Zizzi's is an Italian fooderie very yum
Barbara your uniform was a tad short and no stilettos aren't 'official' nurses uniform
Still it sounds as though George likes it
You weren't exactly on time for choir practise were you, but you actually saw some of us didn't you? I didn't detect and alcohol so the mints worked
Hope Husband is ok.
Love to everyone

Morning everyone.
I’m on the trainon my way to a course to school from a course near Crystal Palace.Must admit felt better when in bed at home! Saw the doctor yesterday, got some antibiotics although he sounded a bit non-commital as this chest infection is not a very bad one but just won’t go away. Fingers are a bit stiffer than normal, will be 2 weeks Sunday since my last dose. Mr K only had the cold for a few days around Christmas as he has a super duper immune system unlike my wonky one.
That breakfast looks yummy. Hungry. Hope to find something to eat at Clapham Junction. I know there is a South African shop there.
Puscats doing well. Jeri loves playing with a piece of string and Tomi ignores her. He thinks they are beyond playing.
Carol enjoy your time away. Exciting.

Afternoon all..its a lovely sunny day here m0150 so we went to the GC..
Toni I was at the choir via whatsapp..I really enjoyed seeing everyone.. I will say another prayer for your neighbour..fingers crossed she will be home soon..I had better not wear the stilettos again ..I did go over in them ..not good when you have a bedpan in your hand..

Joan ans Sue I hope you had this sun and enjoyed your day..did you buy anything nice..
Kath Jersey Royals are just the job ..I cant wait for all the new potatoes are out did you get your scarf
Aiden had a nice rest just pottering..that will do you good..and today at the GC ..we had a scone and sandwich between us ...and really enjoyed it...I did get carried away trying to impress George..but he was very busy in the ward..and then the miss app with the bedpan  will dress accordingly tonight so your feet are all done and hopefully you have your prescriptions..then feet up
Out next door but 2 nighbours son is in hospital with sepsis..he is only 45..the fast response ambulance was there withing mins..I think they had a clue what was wrong..at the min he is very poorly in intensive care with organ failure..its very scary and something I hadn't heard off till a couple of years ago

Hi to one and all - well, Friday soon vanished, we didn't get in until 4pm............ Apart from nipping in to take pills at lunchtime.
Cold seems to have returned and chest is getting worse once more...........so much for feeling better. Anyway, we are both streaming, both have super sore mouths, like they are burnt inside, tongue red raw..........very strange. I feel another GP visit will be in order asap.
That aside, we are FINE
I hope you had a good time in town Joan. Did you go on Dial a Ride? lots of shopping and is your boiler working like it should do, as in produce heat, in ALL rooms.
Hi Kath, the unicorn family are wonderful, they are very happy indeed and more than glad to help everyone with their magical powers.
So you thought it was Saturday, I thought it was Thursday, so goodness knows what today is then  :? :? Fratunday?
Archery at Boots College, that's a little while back. No, certainly could not do that now, like you, I cannot open a bottle of sparkling water when we are out
Oh, I didn't know that Costa provided filtered water, for ones bottle. I will have to be noseying at that one.
I saw on FB that it is birdy watch this week end. Thank you for the potatoes, they are wonderfully marvelous.
Hi Toni, glad all was ok with Lucy's medical check at the school, as long as they know and are fully aware.
Oh bless, we do need your neighbour home, we don't want any more deterioration in her skin. Is she on a nimbus bed? I hope so.
Oral AB's are ongoing and let's hope that microbiology will say she is ok to go home. I assume that the District Nurse team would step back in. With her positive manner, she will do far better at home. Glad there were sparkles all over our unicorn family had been on a fly by.
Barbara was at choir practice, on snapchat, how cool is that 8) 8) way to go. Love it.
Pepe was still on cat book talking to Sleek, when we got home, there had been major gliding and carpet clicking, as you say they are over the moon and back again and Sleek is ordering a unicorn tiara from catazon. There was squealing, one of the neighbours cats heard the carry on
She wants Pepe to get one, but he is not convinced at the moment, even though he likes the one Sleek has bought.
Silver was checking that all was well, for the family to come into our cafe world. The herbs made the transition all the more easy for them...........don't ask me, Minerva knows, but won't say.
Ah, the case is for the crystal ball, that's fine, of course we know nothing of a crui--- or hol---ay
Zizzi's, I will look them up immediately, see where our nearest one is.............The Corn Exchange in Manchester, only 30 miles each way   Quite a way for a yummy pizza.
How is your cough and are the colds on the mend? How is Rev Delphine - just thought I would ask, as the view of your Church came to mind
Hi Kerrin Back to work and in between one course and another. I bet you did feel better at home in bed. Best to have some AB's, even if the Dr was non committal about your chest infection, that's his problem, at least you are covering yourself from it getting worse.
So many people are poorly, BIL and SIL they have had the lurgy for 3 weeks and more, they rang as they were coming over on Sunday, I could hardly speak for coughing, so we decided that maybe leave it another week, before we get together
Glad that Mr K managed to shake the bugs off in no time. Some people do carry a lot of resistance to germs that are doing the rounds. We need him on top form, to make sure all your needs are catered for Hugs for the fingers, let's hope they don't get any worse.
Nice to hear that the puskins are doing well, even if Tomicat is above all this playing malarkey
So we all went to the GC then Barbara, how lovely. We went in for coffee and scones, then Dad decided he wanted to look at a recliner chair for home, (they have THE most amazing interiors showrooms, all set out in rooms, oh I spend millions every time we go in) Anyway, he decided on one, electric, similar to the stressless ones, (which they don't sell as they are nothing but trouble apparently). This one is German, leather, he looked so comfy in it. So he decided to spoil himself and why not we said.
Then we popped back to get my pills, then into town and had lunch, then cheque from bank, to pay for chair, then back to GC, then Sainsb, then home....................and breathe.
I bet is was lovely to see everyone on whatssapp or however you spell it :?
You did go a burton on those heels and with the bed pan, well, least said, soon as mended, best not be wearing them on the wards again now.
I had forgotten about prescriptions, yes, B gathered the two large carrier bags and I have decanted them into the cupboard. Sorted for another few weeks.
How awful that your neighbours son has Sepsis, it is really far more common than people realise, it can happen very quickly, from the most simple of wounds etc and leads to organ failure if left untreated for any length of time.
It sounds like the first responders were in good time. I am sure he will be on a wide range of IV antibiotics, fluids etc etc. MIL had it earlier last year and recovered remarkably well. My Mum had sepsis and didn't recover.
Prayers for his recovery t115006 t4591 added to the prayers for Toni's neighbour as well.
Right, I am all but set like concrete, so I will move my aching bones.
Maybe we will feel human today, who knows.
Hi to everyone else, Carol and Mr T, enjoying their family get together. To Christine, Mig, Toady, DD, Elizabeth, Charrisse and all.
Take lots of care, love and sparkles t115006 XXXX Aidan
