m0150 m0150 kind of day again. only 24, or that is what the forecast was. I think it is nearer 27, so, 27 at the week end will be 30. Oh joy.
t4591 t4591
Happy Anniversary Carol and Mr T Hope you have a lovely day, enjoy the knitting group, a wonderful meal out this evening and glad that you have caught up with lost of sleeps, after your rather tiring journey back from Brighton.
All remained calm on the journey home and you had a nice time by the sea.
Glad you enjoyed the pancakes Toni, I like the word delectable
Up again at 5am, oh my. As you say, the coolest part of the day, when the day is coming to life again. Just as 5pm seems to be the hottest part
They will need look outs on Cannock Chase, it is a big area and very popular with walkers / riders. Definitely no ciggies being discarded, no BBQ's, bottles etc. We always have a bottle with water in, to put our cigs in, in the car. (don't smoke in the car, just nearby).
I remember in California, any public BBQ areas were already built in, at the rest stops, on concreted areas, with fire fighting materials nearby, all well away from any grassland etc. Good idea too.
So Mother went out for a glide in the cool morning air, bless. She is shrieking at the moment, as she has had her meds.
Tosca doesn't mind the AC, even if it blowing in her direction, which it is at the moment, on full blast and still running at 27 degrees
So, you need a gas dryer and Barbara wants an electric one that has a cold cycle
I have a few bits out on the airer, only some smalls, well, I think they say XS or is it 5X :?
Yes, a trip to the GC is in order, we enjoyed ours this morning. Nice and quiet inside, everyone outside, they are welcome.
Pepe will be in full regalia for the wedding, Silver will relay the outfits, as he is allowed to look across Rainbow bridge t115006 t115006 t4591 I still get dishes out, expecting him to be up on the side, in the kitchen, on his mat. :?
Mystery of the wilting basket solved, hold you hands out P, tut tut.
Glad the Sanctuary has had rain, courtesy of Silver and his magic. At least the meadows and grazing land will be green and lush. Our forecast for the week after next, show some days with RAIN on it !!! Best not count our chickens, but, let's hope and pray it comes to fruition. Temps of 20 degrees too, bliss.
I think the rain dancers are having a day off today, they gave up last night
Restful days needed, after the flurry of activity with the wedding plans. Weston Hall, oh yes
Hi Joan, yes Rafa has been playing for a long time now, as had Roger, Andy, Novak, the main 4, who have dominated men's tennis for years.
New players are up and coming though, waiting in the wings and gaining momentum and ranking points.
Still no news about your cyst? Will they call you in for the results / treatment plan?
Hi to Sue and to the Doggies t4591 t115006
Hi Barbara, so you had a mixed night of some rest and some pottering?
I have not read about the moor fires today, I will look at the Manchester Evening News online, they seem to keep things up to date.
I see Saddleworth Moor fire is being treated as arson as well as the one at bolton / winterhill. Beggars belief that people can do this. Police are appealing for witnesses.
They have let the one who started the Winterhil fire go, pending further investigation
I think the knickerbocker ice creams were well received They seem to be making a come back, I often see them pass my eyes, in the T room, my eyes tend to follow them too :? :?
It is very hot at Wimbledon, they have an invasion of flying ants at the moment   It must be SO hot on court.
Roger will be playing later on today, Serena and Venus have been playing
Ooh, exciting that Emily and Alex have the keys to their new house, as you say, it will be all go now Kath t4591 t4591
No, try and get the thought of me in a mankini out of your head, terrible, just terrible   and don't Google mankini either, we don't want you having the vapours
Now, that dish looks interesting it says
tanuki udon recipe. Made with thick udon noodles in a dashi soup sprinkled with tenkasu tempura flakes, tanuki udon gets its name from tanuki 'raccoon dogs', who are figures of fun in Japanese mythology.
So, that's cleared that up then, we all know what it is, :? :? :? I am sure it tastes good, so in I go. Thank you.
Right, I had best be moving, some glasses to throw about in the kitchen  cup of T's to make and siesta time
Love and Sparkles to everyone t4591 t115006 take care and keep as cool as you can. XXX Aidan
Something sweet, per chance.

Belated Anniversary wishes to you Carol!! I bet your Mum is up there thinking....I was wrong!!! 48 years well done
I am very impressed that neither of you fell out on the epic journey home I would have been dead on my feet! How lovely that the day out remains a lovely day and wasn't spoilt by the journey home m0150
Enjoy your meal out tonight...or was that last night?? I think it was
Aidan wo! What was that cake? Didn't have time to read just head first into the both for a face-plant!!! That was delightful delicious and delectable!
Do you realise that, atm, all we are talking about is what temp we got our rooms down to on the A/C!!! m0150
The 'girls' as Sleek refers to themselves were out early doors. Been to Mrs Darcey's new house to be (all is still on for 14th - 10 days to go!) to check all is well after collecting mists and haze - very poor I am told ATM :? Sleek reckons she will cycle over to Mrs Darcey's from here  with her hat and wicker basket.
A bottle of water for nubs is a good idea very safe. It's not you they need to educate really and anyway those so called wildfires so far all seem to be arson this summer  I think no BBQs at all safety first until we have had rain and plenty of it!
The raindancers are out again, but looking a bit dispirited. Our grass crunches underfoot
Oh my dryer needs a cold cycle if the gas ones don't have a cold cycle..... :?
Of course Silver will let us know what Pepe is wearing. t115006 t115006 t115006 Eric Catona will be in a suit bow-tie I think.
It rained at Wimbledon yesterday!!
Kath how exiting for Emily and her beloved I am so pleased.
Thank you for lunch I ate all of it except for the fat noodles...didn't like them
You have still been married 36 years so very well done to you too t4591
Barbara 48 years for you too? That is lovely yes a long, but good time
The solar waterer is great all the plants tubs baskets at the front are connected just need Paul to sort out the ones at the back and life is much easier
I want a dryer which does cold air too. For when someone has left a tissue in their pocket  (ME!!)
Nooooooooo mankinis!! I got Paul one once for a laugh but he never wore it
Morning Joan. I ended up busy enough yesterday anyway. Helped with some extra village watering (the tractor tyres up by the 'fingerpost' as the chap had triple bypass on Tuesday) did a food shop too
Hope all is well with you all?
Love to everyone

Toni, you made me smile calling Alex Emily's beloved. They are two divorced ladies who are more like sisters than friends, and definitely no romantic (or otherwise) entanglements. Alex moved in with Emily and the boys when her (Alex's) husband began an affair with one of his carers, he has cerebal palsy and Alex was is carer as well as his wife. It was his bungalow, so she had to leave. Emily - being Emily invited her to move in and Bob's your uncle so to speak. It's all worked out rather well for them.
Too hot and tired to write any more. Strawberry ice cake to face splat."Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea." Robert A Heinlein

Ooops, I forgot to leave breakfast - apologies. My get up and go, got and went last evening. I do remember sitting here, like one of Lewis's as my Mother would have said, staring into middle distance, in other words.
I think the wonderful choccie cake helped stave off the hunger from this morning.
Glad you enjoyed the face plant Toni, we all had one each, booth is now on another wash and rinse cycle.
I know, we won't mention temperatures, apart from it's very hot our and quite a bit cooler indoors Hotter at the week end, see, I couldn't help myself
Tosca was out early, she said that Mrs Darceys house is lovely and will be perfect for visiting, when your Sis and Mrs Darcey are in residence very soon She didn't mind the transportation, she said her whiskers tingled and that was it, they were at Mrs Darcey's house.
Sleek can cycle over, a bit like Miss Marple, with her wicker basket and gingham cover. Bless.
The mists and haze is not good at all, most of it is pollution at the moment   The Nymphs have a stock pile from all those misty murky days, so they will use some of those, until clearer cooler weather returns.
It is sad that people are setting the moors alight, very sad. I would like to think we are responsible folks Yep, no more BBQ's until the country is less tinder dry.
The rain dancers are taking a break, in need of much refreshment and wafting. They do look a wee bit jaded.
Must have a cold cycle, or "freshen up" as it is called on ours, which is a Candy.
Heat is forbidden from the dryer at the moment. Cold cycle is ideal for tissue removal and fluff removal.
I did iron some shirts and press some trousers this morning, after we had been round to see that Dad was ok. I had it done earlier rather than later, when it gets even hotter. A fan blowing on me helped quite a bit.
Pepe and Eric will look the part, for the wedding, I am sure. Silver will indeed, relay their choices of attire. He cannot take pictures though, that is not allowed, by order of rainbow bridge.
It was only a brief shower at Wimbledon. Not a deluge, like they have had in the past.
Is it choir tonight, I think Barbara will be able to take her rightful place tonight. I will keep my robes though.
So Paul has a mankini as well, right, if Paul and I wear our mankini's and Barbs puts her bikini on and we dance about with the rain makers, that should put the mockers on any more summer
Hi Joan, well English tennis is a lot better, with various avenues open to youngsters to take up and practice the sport. Kerrin will know a lot more than I do.
I know people like Murray, Nadal, Federa all have their own tennis academies to push forward up and coming tennis players.
We have had an at home day, apart from a quick coffee round at Dads this morning.
Hi Kath, I think I understand about Alex and Emily now, I might have to read through it again. My brain only takes in so much info and then it goes to mush.
It is too hot to write, or even think  thank you for the cake, it is worth a face plant, then a shower, as it will be all yummy and sticky.
After that I think we could have an ice cream, to go with the cakes that are not flattened.
My PIP envelope arrived today, so I have been taking a glance through the 40 pages   Will make a start on it over the week end. See my new Cardiologist next week and hopefully get to see my GP too. I will be a nervous wreck until it is sorted. Sleek and Tosca need to cast the anti PIP worrying spell.
Everyone take lots of care, Christine, Kerrin, Carol, Barbara, DD, Toady, Mig SW Elizabeth and all

Joan I will let you know..my brain scan was all clear but having more test...they found a brain in there :?

We saw a lady today that lives under Winter hill in Horwich and her chest was terrible..she said it was effecting many and a few had been admitted to hospital...
I see Rafa is through I caught the end of it..
I do wonder when this weather will break...we have tried to get a paddling pool for Niamh today but all sold out..even the grange

Now the PIP form - photocopy it and use that to work stuff out on. Then write out on 'real' form then photocopy before posting with lots and lots of evidence
Ah yes.....no photographs, but Silver can go between both worlds so we will find out what Pepe and Eric wear

So Sleek got Tosca to go to Mrs D's via transportation? WOW! That is good news another skill relearned
Sleek assures me the nymphs are ok for haze and mist :?
I am HOT!!! hot hot.... m0150
The rain-dancers seem keen on the idea of you Paul and Barbara joining them
AFTER choir practise?
Oh dear Kath I am so    Alex can be a boys name can't it? and anyway two girls can be beloved t4591 No romantic link there, but it sounds like a great set-up which works for them all so all good

Hi to all, I was going to say "on this nice cool evening", but then I stopped day dreaming
I will make sure I have everything pre written, then written out, then copied. All the evidence I have is not new evidence, it is going back some time. :? :?
I am going to see the Cardio next week (Thursday 10am-- cloak duties please and thank you ). Then my GP. So I will ask my new Cardio to write a new letter and also my GP who knows me well. The GP has all the reports of abnormal nerve conduction to both arms, x ray reports, letters from Orthopod Rheumy etc..........I am kind of relying on him. Once they see my repeat prescription they should think OM goodness
That is after we pick up the new printer today, from our Argos. I was going to order new inks for ours but it is cheaper to buy a brand new printer, with its ink in the box. Crazy.
I need one that is going to do lots of copying of the pip forms etc.
I will try not to go on about it, but, bear with, apologies in advance. :?
Yes, Silver can indeed wander onto t115006 bridge and see what is happening, he can only tell a little, the rest remains a secret. t115006
OK, I need that crockery set, right here, right now t4591 t4591 Great choice Lucy, I love it, lots t115006
Now we have to have THE most wonderful Unicorn cake, to eat from the new crockery
Tosca didn't mind being teleported, ( I think she remembers it quite well, but is keeping very quiet )
The Nymphs are a bit worried, as there is no water in their stream (which is quite true). They have a well, inside their underground home, so they are fine for water, but they don't like to see everything so dry. I think they did a little rain flutter and fly dance too, to add to the mix, of dancers, mankini's, bikini's etc.
No, I don't think I would want to join the rain dancers, in my mankini, the world is not ready, for such a worrying sight   Paul is a lot more svelt than I am.
I have too many things wobbling in too many directions at once.
I am glad you had a lovely time out with your neighbours, with your mocktails, a nice treat.
Pepe will be up to all sorts, I can well imagine. It does feel strange putting the dish out, just for Tosca
No, it was a home day yesterday, today we are at the T room, need a few bits, in town. B will go off for those while Dad and I sit and wait in the T room.
Don't worry, if you guess we are either at the GC or in the T room, you cannot go far wrong
I can well imagine that the new ice cream parlour would be packed out. Perfect time to open.
Poor lady who lives near Winterhill, I am not surprised that some people have been hospitalised with chest / breathing problems. I know there have been sight seers who have had to be treated for smoke inhalation. WHY would you want to go sight seeing, in a moorland fire? Beyond me.
Rafa is through, as is Kyle Edmund, there are quite a few seeded players who are out now, both men and women. I hope Kyle can fly the flag for us and go even further into the tournament.
Most summer things are selling out. Argos have still got some online? Maybe at your local one too ?
We got the last fan in Homebase the other day, I have it in my room now, tower fan, B has the one I had and then we have a spare, for the kitchen if needs be. The one in the lounge is on all the time. We were chilled down to 21 degrees tonight, which was nice.
Therapy would be needed, if anyone saw me in a mankini, they would need gas and air.
Thank you for the lovely pictures, you had a wonderful view. I love that building, where they filmed the Royal, wasn't it a hotel? it is so long since I was there.
Time has marched on, in between umpteen potterings about. I will move myself again.
I hope everyone is doing ok, Kerrin, Carol, Christine, Elizabeth, Mig DD, SW, Toady and all.
Looking at the weather forecast, after another hot hot week end, it seems to cool a little, from Monday.....with some rain at the end of next week......don't quote me on it, just call me Wincey Willis

Those poor little nymphs the stream has dried up in this heat m0150 I think our rain dancers are resting again::) Silver has sorted out the sanctuary so all is well there
The unicorn set is fabulous - the tea plates spot on for our unicorn cake. No face splatting in the one - pinkies OUT!!! How gorgeous are those cakes! I can already see Lucy's wedding cake design before she even meets the man!
It does sound as though you have everything in hand (down to a new printer! How stupid for the INK to cost more!) with the PIP application. All should be well you sound to have plenty of back up in terms of evidence. If you need to talk about it we are here never fear
The cloak is booked for cardio Thursday am
It must be sad only needing to put one bowl out t4591 t4591 t4591 ((()))in time it will be less 2nd nature. Sleek has just been really good just she had one of those sticky balls (
galium aparine???) in her tail. She said Tosca told her to let me do it
They just went for a cooling ride this morning no work to do bless them
Kyle Edmund is one we are watching here too fingers crossed.
Barbara I think we can only post two photos per post now. Used to be 3. Not sure why, but was it since that last update of the forum?
When you see that view from your holiday you wonder why we go abroad don't you?
Lovely singing last night! are you going to sing in the concert in October??? :?

Hello its Sue again.
I hope everyone is as well as they can be.
I have a question are people who have Ather cold all the time because Joan is. I wish I understood more about it than I do. I will tell Joan that I asked you because she knows I don't understand.
Lots of love to everyone,

Toni, so sorry. I didn't mean to    you. I know Alex can be a male (my new DIL Dawn has a son with that name) and I know all about females being beloved (middle daughter and my sister are both of that persuasion) I just wanted to make it clear exactly who's who and what's what in this case. You lovely tolerant friend. t4591 t4591 BTW I'm calling Dawn my DIL as she sort of is.
Sue, that's a really interesting question you asked. I have RA and Osteoarthritis. Which one would you call Arthur, as they are both so different. One school of thought is that RA isn't really Arthritis. Many now call it Rheumatoid Disease. It's very complicated. I'm not cold all the time, while we are having a heatwave I'm melting. But when it does turn cold, I know about it. There is also a condition called Raynaud's Phenomenom where sufferers always feel cold. Sorry to get so technical about it Sue. I bet I've confused you even more. t69044 t69044

Hi to all
That cake is AMAZING isn't it Toni, def, for Lucy's wedding cake
Tosca enjoyed her morning glide, no mist, no haze, no water :? :?
Enjoy the new GC, yep, we do know how to live, if it involves cakes and coffee, then that is fine.
New printer up and running
T room as v nice, we were the only ones in the front seating area, rather nice, having such personal service
Thank you for pre booking the cloak for next Thursday
Tosca said that Sleek had a lumpy tail
Hi Sue, good to see you, as always. will answer more to your question later, hope you are both ok and get all the shopping you need and a coffee / cake too.
Hi Kath, I understand now and so glad that things worked out in the end, for Alex and Emily. If people are happy, be it in friendship or partnership, then that is just lovely.
Totally concur with your RA and OA thoughts. It is a wide and varied area of disease.
Thank you for the meringue and summer berry cake, I am going in after Toni, so I will press the wash and dry cycle afterwards.
Come on now Toni, enough munching on that meringue

Hi all late again I had 2 funny turns earlier on..not had one for a few weeks..they are short but leave me feeling sickly..I was walking with the first but the second I was sat down..very strange and worrying..not heard anything form the hospital since they said the brain scan was ok..had ESR bloods done to see if it was inflammation of the arteries..
Oh well we plod on.
.Aiden I am glad to hear you are organized and yes we will be under the clock when you meet your new consultant, no use saying not to worry has it is so stressful...so the T rooms today and you got good seats..like you say I will get it right one day I did the same photocopied everything to keep...now I did the rain dance in my bikini or was it another funny do.. but there was no sign of you or Paul... we have 2 fans going..one is really quiet but not has cool has the noisy one
The cakes are amazing ..and I am sure Lucy is pleased to out them on her crockery has it been cut up I am waiting to dive in.. Im not sure what the building had been it looked like a rest home, but this time I think it is empty such a shame..
Toni right so we are only allowed 2 pics per post..I have lost the pic form PB though ..not a clue will have to look for it...and you went to a new GC...nice to see something different..but if you are anything like my OH seen one seen then all who would have thought this weather would have gone on so long..like you say you dont need to go abroad..mind you its easier to fly
Kath has left us some meringue..thankyou...I think we live in mostly a tolerant society these days thank goodness....
Sue I am melting at the min...but I agree with Toni its when you are less mobile you feel the cold..I know in Winter I now have to wear layers in the house..

Evening all
Wow it has been so hot here you could be forgiven if you thought we lived abroad all you want to do is sleep. We had a great meal out on Wednesday. We Mr T has been taking the wallpaper down in our kitchen over the last two days in the mornings as our grandson says he will be coming to decorate for us as Mr T is no good at wallpapering. I have always done it before. Its not much wallpapering as we have a lots of tiles up behind the cooker and in-between the top cupboards and the worktop. we are getting a tiler into do that bit as grandson is not able to do that. tomorrows job is to try to match up the tiles with what is already there.so that we can just extend to where we need them without having to have them all taken down, and of course it will reduce the cost as we would not have to buy so many. hopefully we can get the tiles all done before GS comes down in August. I managed to get my appointment at dentist for a check up and to decide what is to be done but I have got to wait a month till August the 6th for an appointment. so busy times at the moment. I had a lovely sit by the river this afternoon after my usual Friday dinner with mr t as my friend couldn't meet me as she had another appointment.
Barbara yes we did have a nice meal on Wednesday and in fact it was a really good day. I like Scarborough we di a day visit there when on hols in Whitby last month, have never actually found the building where the Royal was filmed.
Aidan Will be under the cloak next Thursday for sure. We could do with a rain dance here too but cannot see myself dancing maybe a rain hobble is more like it and well I think the bikini is out too . too much of a shock I would also have to many wobbly bits floating about and we cant have that.  :?
Toni Love Lucys crockery good choice My Lillie would love
it she adores unicorns.
Oh my I have just looked at my calendar and realised in just about 6 weeks I will a great nanny to 3 little girls not 2. our Rubie-Leigh is due to make her appearance into the world on the 18th of August.
Well its that time again when my pillow is calling out to me and my bed wants me too.
Love a sparkles to you all t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006Stay positive always👍xx0 -
Hi to all - a hot evening, again  it seems to be the norm now, to be lathered.
I hope I managed to reply to most things earlier, having run out of daytime.
I think the Nymphs have had a rain shower, courtesy of Silver. He was worried about them, they need their raindrops to make the woven squares glisten.
Tosca was going to venture down to the ravine, on her own  but then decided it was too hot so had a siesta instead  Sleek will take her down there to meet all the Nymphs, she will like them, darting about and tickling whiskers t115006 t115006
Whoever made that Unicorn Cake is just amazing. I would never want to cut it. Pinkies very high for that one. The flowers that make up the Mane, is just stunning. In fact, I want one.
I do remember the DWP mentioning that they have all records of previous letters etc, but, I will root out the ones I have and re send them, just to be sure.
I have not put pen to paper yet. :? It has to be back, with them, by the 28th, or they will stop everything
A concert and Barbara will be singing with you all, how lovely, does she know  :?
I have to concentrate on just sorting one dish, for puskin foods. t115006 I had to laugh, the Vets sent their monthly account. I said to Tosca, you owe them £2.50. Bless. She said she isn't paying it, that is what Daddies are for
This link might explain a few things Sue, there is so much to read and digest, when it comes to Arthritis and its many forms. It can get very confusing and I am speaking from a medical background.

My late Mum had Raynaud's in her fingers, they used to turn pure white in winter, she had to wear two lots of gloves. They were very painful too.
Oh dear Barbara, we don't want you having funny turns again. Have you still got some Stemetil after last time. Might be an idea to take one three times a day, as they will help. Nothing worse than everything going squiffy and then feeling sickly. t115006 t4591 t4591
The hot weather is not helping a lot of us. From added pain in joints, to constantly being in a lather. We all need to keep our fluids topped up, we loose so much, without even thinking about it when it is this hot.
Leaving lots of ((())) to hope you feel better asap.
I will be a nervous wreck when I meet my new Consultant, goodness knows why, I have seen more Drs than you can shake a stick at, with work and for my own problems.
No, I chickened out of my rain hobble in my mankini, the world is not ready for such a sight
Three fans on at the moment, I turned the AC off when it got down to 22. Now it is about 26  with hotter weather over the week end.
Fancy that lovely building being empty in Scarborough. It would make an amazing house, let's buy it. I will check my lottery tickets. £5 on Thunderball. Maybe today for the big win
Hi Carol, I was thinking of you when they said how hot it was at Wimbledon, 30 in the shade. It does drain you and make you just weary and sleepy. Not to mention making joints scream.
Glad you enjoyed your meal out on Wednesday.
Now Mr T is stripping wallpaper, ready for your GS to come and decorate. I hope you can find a good match for the tiles, it will save a lot of time, effort and money if you can and a lot less mess.
Appointment booked at the Dentist. We have appt in August, but I cannot remember when, must ring them.
A quiet sit by the river, very nice, watching the world go by.
The whole country is crying out for rain, what it must be like for these countries that never see rain from one year to the next.
Oh, we are on countdown, gosh, I remember your last countdown, seems like yesterday. Great Nanny to three little girls
I seem to be melting at the moment, so I will have another potter. Fuss in the kitchen a little.
At home week end. Well, apart from popping next door, to friends Son who is 21, they are having a "do" and I know she wants us to go for a little while.
Dad will pop in this morning for a cup of coffee, more fussing and keeping as cool as we can.
Tramadol has gone up a notch today, knees are not happy at all   That feeling when you try and get away from yourself, if that makes sense :? :?
Hi to everyone in out and around about. Take care, love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 XX Aidan

XX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
A nice 'healthy' breakfast this morning Aidan thank you - chilled with plenty of sweet fruit thank you
The 'girls' were out early doors and Sleek took Tosca down to the ravine to meet the nymphs. Well the did spoil her!! Pepe's Mum!! They sang her a song and definitely darted here and there! They showed Sleek their stream is full again thanks to Silver To be honest Sleek was rather showing off I think
Tosca told her she owed the vets £2.50 and she told Sleek no way was she paying. Adds insult to injury apparently! She told Sleek you nearly put food down for Pepe very often and it set Sleek off again t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 Tosca reminded her what Silver said about t115006 bridge and that one day she will see him again. That seemed to help. ((()))
I suspect the DWP are counting on some people NOT getting their forms back in time :x No do not put pen to paper yet there is no need to rush, but maybe next week early start to write out in rough some of your obvious responses. Then you can go back and edit at your leisure before writing in B's best handwriting !!!
I am up so early at the moment it's lovely and cool all doors and windows open and dew on the grass..... m0150
Oddly enough I get raynauds too Aidan, but so far it's only ever affected 2 fingers, but they look like they are 'dead' completely! It's not a pretty sight. Not very nice at all painful.
Now on the subject of the rain-dancers….. they achieved a little something here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/16mn70JK0RW17q5xHKwpgY2GfWSG7-Clo/view?usp=sharing
I was in the pizza shop collecting Lucy's Friday treat and I smelt rain!! The whole shop erupted!!! Honestly us British eh?!!
That was it though and nothing more
Today I am helping staff the tombola at a charity event down at the community centre we share with....the next village
Hi Carol - blimey you've been busy wallpaper stripping!! I hope you can match the tiles that would definitely save money and time. Good to hear a family member can wallpaper. I used to do that too!
How lovely to be able to sit by a river
I bet Lillie would love the unicorn set!! You could just get her her own mug for when she is big enough for a cup of tea
Gosh that due date is coming round soon  So exiting!! bets get busy!
Barbara you poor thing! I hope that was the last of those turns for a little while fingers crossed ((()))
Your rain dance worked (A bit!) see photo above!
No I am nothing like your OH I enjoy all garden centres/ T rooms on their own merits. This one was POSH!! very pricey but very nice. Well actually we went to 2. One was a special one (no T room at all horror of horrors!) did HUGE trees and plants all ready to go and at HUGE prices....some as much as £600!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mind you would have an immediate garden!
Wilhelmina is not at all happy in this dry weather. I didn't think I would need to water her at all, but I have done so and very much hope I'm in time
Yes only two pics or external (cosgan) smilies now
Carol's been in so all is well
A quick woo-ooo! to Joan m0150 I hope all is well with you all
Love to everyone else

m0150 Ice cream. nomnomnom mmmmm. Oh, sorry, I was just drooling ove Aidan's photo of the 99s and drifting off into a world of my own.
30 degrees in the shade  That is disgustingly hot, my brain can't accept temperatures that high. harumph. So Toni had a little downpour. How lovely. As you can tell, I'm quite insane at the moment. Hence the choice of cake. Ice cream Sundae cake with lots of tiny ice creams around it. Lovely face splat first - form a queue now. Then SLURP
So Aidan chickened out of his mankini hobble in the rain. I'd have thrown a towel in your direction to spare your blushes. I'd do practically anything to cool off at the moment. :?
Carol, yes I like Scarborough too, in spite of the hills. But the sea, oh now that looks very welcome.

Just a quick hi, on another super hot day. m0150 m0150
Will be off next door to Son's 21st, only a short visit, all their garden is in full sun, the big TV is in the garden, under a gazebo, so that people can watch the football
We will just natter with the neighbours, then bid farewell, when I am at melting point.
I am glad Mother went to see the Nymphs in the ravine, she was certainly shrieking about her ventures and how much she was fussed and covered in sparkles t115006 t115006
Insult to injury indeed, paying the Vets £2.50 Daddy will pay and get some more of her fav biscuits and a new natural plug in, for calmness, not the feliway one.
Poor Sleek, upset, we know how you feel sweetie paws.
The rain dance kind of worked, even a few spots, is a sign that the dancing is not in vain.
I will whip out my mankini again
Hope the Tombola does well, they normally do, I was always hooked on them at Church do's. I usually won something like Norman Hartnell Talc, in the heart shaped container.
Hi Joan, hope you Sue and doggies are ok. Dad popped round this morning, for a coffee. You are welcome to the link, there is so much info about, it would take a month of Sundays to read it all.
Hi Kath, yep, silly temperatures here too. Thank you for the extra large beach towel, to spare my blushes. It would save other people's eyes as well.
I will dive into one of those cakes right now, then have a wash and away we go next door.
Will write more later, when it is chilly   sorry, I was dreaming again.
Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t115006 XX AidanXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
