Afternoon to all. I am sure Toni and Carol are super busy, with Sis coming for Toni and the fete for Carol and the Church being open all day. It is a hot day too  :?

So Sis should be there by 8 ish, time for all the preening and preparations of flowers etc and a box of hankies too. I can tell there will be tears of joy and hugs and pets for miss Darcey.

I hope they all have a very safe journey.

Boiler all done, passed with flying colours, still has 6 years full parts and labour warranty :) We like the plumber, very polite, well brought up and VERY tall 6 feet 6 inches.

I hope doggie is ok too and am very impressed you didn't start smoking with all that has gone on over the years. I would be, well, am, like a chimney   even the new cardio just rolled his eyes, didn't bother lecturing me. Thought don't you dare, I am paying for this :lol::lol:

Glad the cloak has been vented, it needed it and the AC re gassed. No more pilchards allowed or finny haddock etc.:mrgreen:

BIL SIL and Dad all enjoyed the T room, they all had "afternoon tea,", cakes scones, sandwiches etc. They have just left now, to go watch the football at Dads, we have the tennis on and no one is turning that over - no way.

Right Hyperinflation and Gas trapping, well they are all part and parcel of having COPD, the same as I have and Kath has too. As the lungs function less efficiently we cannot exhale all the air in our lungs, hence it is called air of gas trapping. Hyperinflation is the result, of the not getting the air out as well as we used to. Nothing to over panic about, it is helped with inhalers and we can practice deep breathing in for 5 out for 5, trying to get as much air out as possible. Our muscles become weakened, so we inhale and exhale less volume.

So, don't over worry about it, smokers do tend to get COPD, including ex smokers  and therefore the gas or air trapping and therefore the hyperinflation. The words themselves put the wind up you and you think OM Goodness.

They are pretty dramatic, it makes it sound like we are about to go BANG like a balloon.

It could be worse, you are right. Inhalers and regular spirometry tests to measure the various air volumes. We are more prone to chest infections. Now, calm, (hark at me, saying be calm)   t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006

So Paul and tias' BF arrived about 1pm, at Kari's, so all things to pack up and then head off back...................steady away.

Enjoy the evening, with balloons, banners, flowers, hugs and cups of T, or champagne :) Hic.

Hi Joan, it was a big shock when the dog flew out of the field, lucky we were going about 20mph over the bridge. It took all day to get over the shock.

Hope you are ok and enjoying even more hot weather. I forgot to answer Sues question the other day, I will do, honest.

Lovely, Emily is moving into her new house, I think I saw the pics on FB, it looks very nice Kath.
I hope all goes well XX t69044

Thank you for the fruit ices, I will take some into the booth and make a big mess with them :) then put the wash and dry cycle on.

It looks all clean, so I guess you pressed the right button, then made a run for it, or you get drenched :lol:

I hope you are feeling a bit better Barbara, it is so hot as well, not what you want when you are full of cold and aching, sweltered etc. Lots of fluids and rest, wish you could take more pain relief, but sadly not with reduced renal functions. Extra ((())), sending lots of t4591 and t115006

Hi to everyone else, hope all are as ok as can be. I had better move, I am setting again.

Done a hew more notes for the PIP form, only one page to do now, then write it all up. Oh the stress of it, we could all do without it.

Love and sparkles to all, catch you later XXX Aidan t4591 t115006

world on Tuesday. Then I was getting cooking a nice piece of gammon and making some trifles for dinner tomorrow evening and we will have a salad with the gammon early evening when we get home from the open day I was shopping this afternoon for my fruit and then seem to cooking ever since. And of course another busy day tomorrow. will explain a little more tomorrow of other goings on here.

t69044 we are all hoping that Kari is safely back down from Bonnie Scotland, to be nice and close you again Toni. Have been sending lots of t115006 t115006 over the ether.

I'll bet Paul and your future SIL have had such a long long day, they will need a strong cuppa at the very least and will sleep well.

You will be so excited you will be up at the crack of dawn m0150

It has been really hot today and is going to be the same for Sunday. Then cooler and some RAIN on Monday :D:D
    a030.gif

Very much needed, for us all.

I am glad the GP came out to see you Barbara, they don't mind and obviously it was in good time too, with ear, sinus and chest all having issues. AB''s will help asap and you can have two paracetamol a day. I guess that is better than none at all. :? I do hope you feel better very soon. t115006 The chillows are excellent if you can get some.

We were all in a bit of shock after the dog ran straight into the car. B was on those brakes like a shot. The seat belts work well
I think the owners will keep the doggie on a lead at all times now, let's hope so.

It was Friday the 13 after all and we were glad when it was over.

BIL and SIL went to the T room with Dad, then popped in for a little while on their back. Dad looked quite tired, he was ready for a nap, so they didn't stop long. He wanted to watch England playing and we had the tennis on, so off they went. :D The tennis has been edge of the seat, with Rafa the next to go, then the ladies final, with Kerber winning her first Wimbledon Title.

We are still watching it now, catching up from siesta time.

It has been nice not having to go out, I know we had to get up early ish, for the plumber to service the boiler. Today we will not be up early and may pop round to Dads for a short while and have a coffee.
Then I have a lot of pressing of shirts to do, they breed and I have to wear white short sleeved shirts all the time, immaculised and steamified of course.

Shall we all have a mass wedding, renewal of vows, etc, at one of those wonderful halls Barbara, they all look amazing in their own right, I quite agree.

Hi Carol, see I am always getting days mixed up. So the fair it today  bless, I blame the pills :lol: :? :?

I hope the new recipe from SW was good, do tell all about it. Winning all the ingredients must be very nice too.

I do like a piece of roast gammon even though we don't eat much in the way of meat - so, if I appear, I will keep quiet and nibble some in the kitchen :lol:

You will appreciate having your tea/supper ready, after your busy day today. Mind, it sounds like you have been busy enough on Saturday, cooking, in the heat as well m0150

I hope all goes well, let us know, when you have had time to put your feet up, with a SW trifle :)

B is busy away, trying out some new designs, SIL has already chosen another bangle, she always says what have you been making and she is like a kid in a sweet shop

I have been pottering, doing some more notes for pip, nearly ready to write up now. Want it done and sent off this week, recorded delivery, never mind their second class pre paid. I want to know it will get there.

Some immaculising and fussing, dedustification, which is a constant task, with fans and AC running. We are quite cool indoors tonight, the AC got it down to 21 degrees.

Well, I had better go and throw some pots about :) I am good at that

Hi to everyone else, in, out and around about. Love and Sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 XX Aidan

My sister did indeed land safe and sound...I will try to upload some pics soon of our decorations :) t69044 t69044

She cried! I cried on and off all day!!

Paul and his future SIL did a great job :) t4591

Aidan i was up at the crack of dawn so exited :) However will leave Kari with my nephew and her DIL today as he will be at work tomorrow and i wont ;)

Mrs Darcey was popped into the bedroom with her litter a drink and some food and the little angel was straight in there investigating! Sleek hid for 2 days when we moved!!

Tosca and her have already been over this morning to see Mrs D and they reckon Kari was still snoring....really?

Thank you for all the COPD info very useful. I feel ok about it really and maybe the inhalers will be helpful. To think though that I was convinced I had done really really well at the lung function tests   The only shock I had was that the tests were done at 10am on the Tuesday and letter dictated by the consultant on the same day!

Sounds like you needed that 'day off' with all your ironing! A cool clean crisp white shirt perfect for this weather :) Good the boiler is all done for now - did the dishy plumber come out this time?

Well done for getting the temp down to 21! What would we do without A/C ours is on the way out cools for 10 mins then fan only :( New one here we come! m0150

Having my breakfast bread with best president butter of course - ta v muchly :D Talking of which Charley and Kat will be on their way home now from France.

Hi Carol that's good winning ingredients at SW!! It really is a good weight loss club I think :)

Best of luck for today and enjoy that meal when you get home!

Barbara I am so very glad that the Dr has been and you are now on ABs :) BIG phew!! Take the paracetamol if you have to of course and rest. Let the ABs do their job.

Your husband is a treasure to do that for you :)

I fully intend to do the exercises and have googled there is a class near me. I might see if my sis can go to she has bad asthma.

Wouldn't that Hall be fabulous for us to all renew our vows?

Kath thanks for the ice pops! Lovely yesterday when we were all doing last minute preparations for my sis' arrivals.

Now over to you for Emily's turn :) I think they will be very happy :)

A quick woo-oooo! to Joan! My sister is down here now :D:D t4591

Right Hyperinflation and Gas trapping, well they are all part and parcel of having COPD, the same as I have and Kath has too.

Sorry Aidan, I don't have COPD. I have Bronchiectasis. It doesn't come under the COPD umbrella, it is the exact opposite. I have big, saggy, baggy Bronchioles which collect sputum, which then becomes infected. Usually with Pneumonia or Pseudamonas, or both together. Sorry for the lecture, but most who have Bronchy Donkey (my new name for it) get a bit uppity. It's common among children with Cystic Fibrosis, and hardly any of us smoke. :P  Thanks for breakfast, Peach Almond and Oat bread, Yummy.

Toni, I've stopped singing now. So happy Kari is home. Yes, Emily et al are very excited about the move. The kitchen and dining room have already been on FB, the rest will be up there soon. The British Lung Foundation WWW.blf.org have loads of info and advice about COPD. https://www.blf.org.uk/support-for-you/copd

Now for supper, there is something a little unusual. Prawns in Marmalade gin. Barbara, I hope your throat can cope with it. Have you tried gargling in salt water? No I'm not trying to kill you, honestly. t4591

Afternoon to all, another hot and sunny day here. Frankly my dears, I have had enough summer :)

SO glad that Kari arrived safe and sound, to her new home, close to family, just wonderful. I am sure there were tears t4591 t4591

Thanks to Paul and SIL for doing a sterling job in ensuring safe collection and transit of very precious things t4591

I guessed you would be up at the crack of dawn, with all the excitement. It will be nice for Kari to spend some time with her Son and DIL, as you say, kind of find her feet and gather herself, after all it is a big move

Sounds like Mrs Darcey has settled in straight away, sussing things out. Of course, Sleek and Tosca have been over to meet and greet and admire the decorations :) and t69044 t69044

No worries about the info, I totally mistook that Kath had COPD, I knew, as soon as I saw on her post. Silly me
The inhalers will help and you will keep on top of it. I always think, I am sure I did really well on the blowing and huffing and puffing, then the machine does it's thing and my friend, the Practice nurse, says, yes, still moderate COPD

I was going to say we have had a day off, but, never quite works like that. Not been too bad, have been round to see that Dad is ok and we had a coffee with him.
Then I was very happy to have a hair cut :) smart boy again.
Ironing all done with AC and fans on, to prevent wilting. Beds all changed and imaculised.
Been next door to keep an eye, they are away in Spain. They had an invasion of flies, so we went round and had a massive fumigate with sprays, left and will go back tomorrow to hoover them all up.

All shirts duly steamed and ready for the week. Glad the boiler is all up to the mark and yes, the plumber is quite the charming man

No, the AC is on the blink. Quick, Argos as soon as possible, they have them, the same as ours, for about £280. I know it is going to be cooler this week, thank the Lord, but, we can always have another heat wave.

Charley and Kat are on the way home, puskin will be pleased, but she has been so well looked after by your truly.

Tosca is resting now, after all the recent shrieking they have been doing, waiting for Mrs Darcey to come down with her Mummy, to be with all the loving peeples.

Hi Joan, did you both have a nice time at the pub on Saturday at your friends party.

It is another very hot day here, we have rain for tomorrow and a good deal cooler.

Hi Barbara, I remember you had a quiet day with the last iron man race, bet it is lovely, with no traffic. We are blessed with only having the odd car pass us, just people that live on the park.

I hope the AB's are helping t4591 I well know what sinus pain is like, many ((())) for it to ease asap. You did need the paracetamol to help without a doubt. Mr B is doing a wonderful job of duty nurse :) Matron is impressed.

It has been nice to have a catch up week end, with mini visits of family and then round to Dads for a cuppa. I think I am caught up with things, (just pip to write up). Yes, they have sent me texts to say that my pip journey is now underway   journey!!! it's a blo---- nightmare  :lol: Ooooh, I said a rude word, ooops.

We were glad Kerber won, we wanted Kevin to win today, but guessed Novak would win. Kevin has played so many more hours of on court play, he will be pooped, before he came out for the final Still it is his biggest achievement of his career. Well done.

Now we have Jamie Murray and Veeka as they call her. They are well suited to playing doubles and I hope they win the championships.

I saw admin instead of frogmorton? Quick, change back Toni ;)

You take care now, we need you well again. Many hugs ((())) and lots of sparkles t115006 t115006

You tell me off Kath, my brain is like a sieve. As soon as I saw you mention bronchiectasis I knew full well that is what you have and not COPD, they are indeed, two very different things. Sorry for putting the wrong diagnosis, big ooops. Thanks for the links, very useful indeed and will look forward to more pics of Emily's new home :) on FB. Exciting. I am still singing by the way, it is embedded in my grey matter.:lol: Even though Kari's home :)

Glad you enjoyed breakfast, I will now go and sample those delicious looking large prawns, they are delicious, thank you kindly.

Right, it is cup of T and siesta time soon, so I will make a move, last lot of drying out on the airer on the back decking, will all be dry when we get up later. Very warm breeze.

Love and Sparkles to everyone, will catch you later. Take care t4591 t115006 XXX Aidan

    Evening all

Oh my it is blooming hot here today think the highest today has been 30 degrees at the moment of typing it is 28. got home from the church at around 5.15pm after leaving home for the service this morning at 10am, so a very busy day. have had my cold gammon and salad followed by trifle and am now relaxing with a nice glass of wine. Mr T is sitting on the sofa fast asleep well he did miss his afternoon nap.:lol: we were quite busy with people in and out as we had already informed the fair organisers that people could use the toilet facilities and we also would have tea and coffee available. I managed to sell 5 cards the 1st two before I had even set up properly. will post some pictures when I get them on my laptop as Mr T took them on his iPad.

Barbarasorry you are not feeling to good. Wow bins only emptied every 3 weeks not good in this heat i can imagine the smell no wonder you are unindated with flies hope you are better soon. i have indeed been busy i love my slimming world trifle always have it on Sundays in the hot weather.

Aidan so all is imaculised and we have had a hair cut i must get mine done too.

Joan All went quite well at the fair and i did enjoy it.

Toni Sorry about the COPD not nice that my mum had that. and had inhalers i too have inhalers for my Asthma. it was good winning the recipe ingreadients but it wasnt one of our favourites to be honest we didnt really enjoy it. it will probably not be repeated. I did really enjoy the day today dinner was great.

Hi to one and all - I won't mention the weather, honest :? :?

A good long nap is ideal for you Barbara, will do you good to rest and let the ABs do their work. Now that we are as hot as Spain / France etc. we will all have take siesta's in the afternoon :)

I remember my Dad using salt water to gargle and TCP  which was just  I cannot gargle to save my life, I just choke  :lol:

The form is still here Barbara, sitting by my side, looking at me sideways :? :? the text they sent was when I rang them to apply for pip, when they said my DLA was ending.

I am geared up to send it off this week, I want it back, well in advance of their "must be back by date" or everything will stop, the world will stop revolving as well :?

Once it has gone off, with the Consultants letter, it will be in the lap of the powers that be.

You are welcome to the hugs, have some more, by all means.

    big_hugs-9c6357fa350258ab4d0db84d24daca18.jpg

You will be feeling pretty rotten at the moment, with all the infections, they all add up and just make things horrid. t115006 t115006

Glad the cooler strips work, along with two fans. I am hoping it will cool down a bit - ooops, I mentioned the weather again.

Once every three weeks is dreadful, leaving bins that long, in this heat. What do they do with the council tax? No wonder there are flies and a bit of a whiff

Yes, we almost had an at home day, been nice to just catch up a bit. I cannot go at warp speed any more, so a good potter was needed.

I am sure Toni has been on the phone, at the very least, to Kari, or maybe just popped over, because she can :)

I think we are all Wimbledon'ed out now. Just waiting to see them all in their finery at the Gala Dinner. The ladies especially look SO different when they are all glam, hair done, make up done, lovely dresses, sparkles galore t115006
Kevin did really well, I think he was so tired from the match the other day, it was going to be Novak who won the day, he is so bendy, like an elastic band. They had a great deal of respect for each other and Kevin's rankings have gone up for sure.

Hi Carol Oh, you have had a long long day, but sounds like you had a good time, selling cards too, that's good to hear. I know they said it was over 30 at Wimbledon, so was thinking, Carol is going to be super hot.

I bet the gammon, salad and trifle, was lovely, all ready. A glass of wine, without a doubt, well deserved and Mr T was asleep on the settee, bless, us men, we cannot keep the pace you see :lol:
Looking forward to seeing some pictures :) Pity the SW meal was not really your taste, one to forget me thinks

Much immaculisation, just more dedustifying tomorrow, fans are just blowing it from one room to another at the moment  I will get my special cloth, that gathers everything :)

I hope you have had chance to catch up a bit Toni and I bet you will sleep better, now that Sis is safely in your neighbourhood. Sleek and Tosca did a fly by and waved to Mrs Darcey, who was quite happy, investigating everything in her new house. Sleek said she has handed over the deeds, to Mrs Darcey

Any news on the best village awards? High time yours took the top prize.

There could be mist in the morning, with rain on the way, so an early morning fly up to Pendle, just in case there is some to gather. The Nymphs are getting low on supplies  Silver might have to step in at some point.

All the lovelies are fine, lots of fresh fruits, nuts meats, worms, grubs, leaves, water cabbage - loads of things in stock. Most are enjoying the weather, those who need things a little cooler, have AC in their bed areas, only the best for our Sanctuary members.

Right, time for me to potter again. I am setting very quickly.

I think it will be the T room today. Pinkies out :)

Everyone take lots of care. Love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 XXX Aidan

Eggs Florentine eh? How delightful Aidan thank you!!

Did I tell you just how well behaved MRs Darcey was on her way down from Scotland? 6 hours (that was Paul pushing it too!!) and not a peep! :animal_busy:

Tosca and Sleek have already taken her to meet Charley's pusskin and are planning to take her over to Pendle soon

Charley and her GF came over yesterday before going home Tia was here too and so much wedding talk took place :)

Today I will spend time with my sister t4591

Your hair looks very smart indeed and all those lovely ironed shirts too!

I think we definitely need a new Aircon ASAP, but need Paul to fetch it for me or maybe get it delivered :? hmmm....

    Need a 3m hose though.

I think your PIP form should be perfect I just hope you don't get a face to face interview some do. Lucy did hers was at home due to being neutropenic at the time. I have tips for that if it happens.

As for thinking I had done so well huffing and puffing I'm so glad it wasn't just me! I thought I was wasting their time

Poor Barbara! I do hope you are feeling a good bit better today ((())) t69044 Those ABs should be kicking in by now. As for sleeping it is healing so the nurses used to say about Lucy :)

Carol I am chuffed to hear what a great day you had cards sold and good footfall :) Pics will be lovely when MR T awakens....

Shame about that SW recipe not being so great. Still you have plenty of others up your sleeve :)

As for a nice glass of wine - why ever NOT!!!

I am not admin  have I been being checked up on??  am I 'me today?? :?

Joan I will pass on your love to my sister later this morning :) Thank you :) As for the COPD I can have inhalers and she will help me with them as she has asthma herself.

Kath you are an angel! g030.gif

I have had a quick look and the info looks really useful thank you t4591

Right walk time for me. Now is not the time to get lazy/unfit/fatter

    Love to you all

Eggs Florentine yum yum yum, thank you Aidan. I knew you knew about the Bronch really. We do get confused sometimes, even though you are years younger than I am. :P

It's still too hot here, even though they keep telling us it will get cooler and also rain. Nooooo, I've seen the weather maps. They think I'm daft. They could be right. :?

Toni, I'm glad you found the COPD stuff useful. I enjoy finding all that kind of stuff out. b060.gif Hope you and Karis have had a good catch up.

Barbara, I hope you are getting plenty of rest and that the ABs are kicking in.

Cheesy Lasagne Rolls with Spinach and Ricotta Cheese. Hope it's not too hot for that. :D

So you have everything ready now to get that PIP form off Aidan now? Good. The bill? Not so good :?

All is well here we have been super busy sorting stuff out for my sis a new washing machine and fridge microwave and lots of shopping too.

Guess what? Darcey (a long-term house cat) has already gone outside and she's loving it. She is a very elderly rescue cat who was made to have many many litters being a Devon Rex and rather gorgeous. My sister is so happy to see her so happy in her twilight years :) Mind you she's keeping Kari well-within her eyesight at all times.

Tosca and Sleek are taking all the credit as you can imagine

New Aircon purchased and in the bedroom which is already 16 degrees it is amazing!!! k010.gif

I saw the weather maps too Kath and it will be even hotter here on Sunday and rising every day in between.

As far as the COPD info is concerned getting informed is what we need to be when something 'new' comes along so thank you t4591

Of course Kari and I talked for England she is so NICE!! and makes me feel so safe and well as laughing for England!!!

Loved the spinach and ricotta yum :)

Joan I am glad you enjoyed the pub :) I had a great day with my sister the first of many now m0150

Barbara if you get in I hope you are feeling a wee bit better today ((()))

Not quite midnight and I am finally taking a moment to say hi to my friends :)

Those eggs Florentine were just divine :D:D

Bless Mrs Darcey, being so good on her journey south. Sleek and Tosca said she was very relaxed about the whole move and could not wait to explore her new home.

She will enjoy looking around Pendle. Charley's puskin will be pleased to have her mum's home.
I can imagine there was quite a lot of wedding chatter t4591 t115006

Spending Time with Kari, of course you will, how easy it is now, just down the road, rather than up the length of the country

I see you have a new AC and it is obviously working wonders, down to 16, that is very good indeed. I think ours would blow up if it tried to get it so cool.

I am just about pipped and then some. I will expect a face to face, most people do have to go through one. Some are done at home, I have said I cannot travel more than 20 -25 minutes, which is quite true, we have to stop and I have to get out and potter.

I will keep everyone updated, I hope to get it sent off today, or Wed at the latest.

No, it wasn't just you, with those spirometry machines, I was convinced I was doing a wonderful job, even though it makes your head spin  :?

So you turned into Admin,  Big Brother is watching :? :? no, not really, it must be a glitch.

There will be so much to do and sort, lots of shopping for white goods and all manner of things. Even more exciting. It is so good that you can pop round and have a good natter and lots of laughs. I know what you mean, by someone making you feel safe t115006 t115006

How lovely that Mrs Darcey has been out, nosing at her new surroundings. It is wrong when they are forced to have litter after litter because of their breed. I love Devon Rex, they have gorgeous fur. Tosca said that Mrs Darcey has had a perm  :lol:

We have had a good deal of rain which has been very very welcome. Nowhere near as cool as they said it would be and so humid, we had the AC on for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Looking at our weather, it is cooler today, then it seems to get warmer, not up to 30 though............Have we moved nearer the equator ?
There was a lot of mist on Pendle today, after all these weeks and weeks of nothing but haze and heat. Sleek and Mother were gathering like crazy and ferrying down to the Nymphs, I think they did at least 6 trips there and back.

We were at the GC and I could see them in the distance, with their nets, gathering the mists. My scone with jam and cream was delicious. T room on Wendesday, as Dad has an appointment at the blood clinic. Home day today, or, we might have a trip to the tip, to take some broken trellis, B has been fussing in the garden. We know how to have fun, off down the tip :lol::lol:

Hi Joan, yes, Wimbledon is over for another year, but the ATP tour continues as they head over the pond to Canada and the USA. We will follow it all the way, but not sure about the US Open, Sky have sold out the rights to broadcast it to Amazon, so not sure if we will see that, (big shame, very big shame). :x :x
Jamie and Victoria were runners up in the final, their opponents were just that bit more slick on the ball, it was a great match though, we enjoyed it.

I hope you and Sue and the doggies are all ok. Have you had any rain? Glad you enjoyed your time at the pub :)

Hi Kath, I knew that you knew that I knew too :lol: confused dot com if my middle name   :?

They are telling fibs about the weather, leading us up the garden path. Admittedly it does not seem to be as hot as it has been, up to 30 degrees was just silly and not bearable.
Any cooler days will be more than welcome.

Ooh, no, it is not too hot to have that lovely pasta dish, very nice indeed, thank you kindly.

I hope you are ok Barbara, sending more hugs and well wishes. Those AB's had better be helping, we want you to feel more yourself again. None of us like it when another is feeling so poorly. I know Mr B will be doing a wonderful job of taking good care.

Did you have some of the rain? I hope so, a good downpour on the moors will be very welcome, by the emergency services and locals alike.
I hear a rumble of thunder when I was trying to have a siesta, I say trying, it was a waste of time really   too humid. It has suddenly gone very warm again now, I am having a "moment".

t4591 t4591 t115006 t115006 for you to feel better asap.

I hope you are ok Carol, you will need a bit of a rest after a busy Sunday. :animal_busy:

Hi to Kerrin, Christine, Elizabeth, Mig, DD, Toady, SW, and all.

I had better move myself again, pottering needed. Everyone take lots of care.

Love and Sparkles to all. t4591 t115006 t115006 XXX Aidan

Mmmm lovely breakfast muffins Aidan, thank you.

Oh Toni, poor Mrs Darcey having all those children because of her special fur. I have to admit, they are not my favourite pusscats. I prefer a good old fashioned British short hair. Although the Scottish Fold is quite pretty. :)

Aidan, my dad was always off to the tip. he'd take a couple of bits he no longer wanted and bring half a dozen back home. He had his own shoemakers last and would cut old tyres up to make soles for his work shoes.

Emily should be having her bedroom carpets laid today. :D

I watched a lovely farm program earlier, all about piggies. Lovely, and it was narrated by my favourite Scottish actor, Bill Paterson. Oh, and we had Magnums on the benches this morning. Both very ouchy. I think someone is trying to chop my right leg off at the hip.

Time for a session in the booth, let me just set the wash cycle before I faceplant some berry delight yoghurt. Tap tap tap taptaptaptappity splat. slurp. Give it 10 minutes to clean Toni, and enjoy.

    Evening everyone

Sorry to be late in, but hopefully it’s worth it as I look 10 years younger after my hair-cut this morning! Then I had to go to Tesco before having a visitor this afternoon. To make up for my absence I have uploaded some pics for you of Kari’s house being decorated prior to her arrival and then Mrs Darcey on the windowsill.

It’s been another dry day here with plenty of sunshine, but it is a little windy…hope maybe for rain later? :?

Kath the Scottish Fold kittens are adorable. Ah the booth is ready for me thanks very muchly. Tap tap tap TAP TAP TAPTAPTAPTAP…….(diving)….SPLAT!!!!! lovely and cool 

I hope Emily loves her new carpet. :) Moves in tomorrow if I remember rightly?

So sorry you and Chris are both suffering. Naughty hip, but watching programmes about piggies are a great way to distract yourself. :)

That’s right Joan no trouble can’t be made less so when you can talk it over with the right person and who better than your sister?! :D

That’s weird Aidan we had berry chilled yoghurts from Kath and berry muffins for breakie! Thanks very much I grabbed 4 on the way to the hairdresser’s this morning 

Bless Tosca and Sleek working so hard collecting those mists. I heard the nymphs (and Silver) clapped them in with them when they brought them back after the shortage they had had. How lovely you actually saw them too!!

Mrs Darcey does look like she’s had a perm. She is a very elderly lady and deserves this lovely life she is having now down here. I cannot believe she is outside and my sister is so happy. :D

(new suite has yet to arrive so she's using one of my conservatory chairs for now) Fridge and washer came today though….

Hope you rested today and the forms are all done dusted and forgotten? If you have to have face to face make sure B is with you and do NOTHING which makes you hurt!

I am very much hoping all is well with our Carol and of course Kerrin. I saw Elizabeth has been on facebook . No Christine for a while though either….

Barbara I am glad you are getting there you poor thing. You have had a rough time lately. Keep sleeping if you can ((()))

Yes my sister is older. She is the only person who has known me all of my life so very special to me.

This Aircon and the old one both have pipes through the window, but I have a Velcro screeny-thing which I post the hose through so no flies come in. Some are quieter than others so worth checking out the reviews. :?

I had to take my letter into the GPs so they can sort my inhaler out!!! I had mine Saturday they haven’t had theirs yet! Never used one before so any tips will be helpful.

    Love

    Evening all

I am still trying to get over last weeks very busy week. had a very nice visit to my aunt last Thursday saw my cousins 2 daughters and one of her little GDs as well had a good long chat with my aunt. on Friday the usual meal with Mr t and coffee with my friend. yesterday I was very tired and in the evening I kept falling asleep. today I have not been that busy I went to slimming world and then to meet Mr t for a bite to eat in another local shopping centre, after lunch and a quick look around it was on the bus and back home. so not quite as busy but the heat is getting to everyone at the moment I think. today has been a bit cooler. tomorrow is knitting group so it will be a very relaxed afternoon.

Aidan yes the fair on Sunday was a good afternoon we really enjoyed it i was good to actually sell some cards and it was hot hot hot . the gammon was beautiful we had some left overs in a gammon risotto for this evening's dinner.

Toni it was a shame about the recipe we like most of the things I cook from the sw books but neither of us enjoyed that one so it will not be done again me thinks. hope you and Lucy are well. Glad your sister made it to her new flat ok and it must be really lovely to have her close by. I have inhalers too as I have Asthma they are not to bad to take and they will make the copd feel a lot easier

Joan Yes I was very pleased to have sold the cards

Barbara That was definitely bad with the bins I couldn't believe it when you said it. Can recommend the trifle it is really nice and is so easy . if you cannot find it let me know and I will tell you what I do with mine.

here are 2 pictures for you of the fair for you all.
