Oh my days Aidan, (bet you and B said something MUCH stronger) Poor Bea. Thank you for the Granola Cups with Yoghurt and Fresh Fruits.

I'm rather worried about mig's bones now she's had all those steroids. But I'm glad she's home for now.

Joan, oh gran knew what she had all right. She also had Rheumatic Fever, which left her with a bad heart, but she lived well into her 80s. She was 4 foot 5 inches and weighed about 6 stone. 6 children - 5 singles and a set of twins. I wish I had half her courage. When you consider she lived through 2 world wars.

Thinking of Carol, t4591 Barbara t4591 and Toni. t4591

Couldn't find a recipe for the ice cream dish, but it is vegan.

Hi to all - after seemingly having lots of spare time, the day has just vanished -  it took me hours to get going, fybro fog and every bone shouting, but, one carries on.

Hi Joan and Sue I don't know about feeling like Royalty in our car, but she does waft you from place to place :lol: t4591 I could get quite used to it :)

Hi Barbara - I guessed Niamh would prefer to be busy - but she likes her X Box
We are all fascinated by the Kelloggs cereals, just wish we could get them over here   not only are they in America, they are limited edition and end in March

Brunch calmed me down quite a bit, after following the bloomin mucky lorry :? :? much swearing and cussing  :lol:

Parma violet Gin, whatever next. I know there are all sorts of flavours when you look in the supermarkets, everyone is hooked on it, Mothers Ruin as my mum used to say.

I hope Mr B's BIL is feeling better, sending lots of sparkles to him, not nice when things change suddenly like that. t4591 t4591 t115006

Glad you heard from Tony, a nice surprise, with jammy dodgers too :)
Send him my love and well wishes :)

Hi Kath You are welcome to the granola cups with fruit etc, they are lovely and crunchy.

The air was blue, when we met the lorry and we both said, it will be going all the way past the GC, which it did

I am glad too, that Mig has come home from Hospital, to start her treatment on Monday, a new trial that she is taking part in, which I hope works very well and very quickly. She does need to avoid the germies now, everyone must be fended off at the door and triple checked.

Gran was made of sterner stuff, that's for sure. Like so many of that era. Living well into her 80's. A bit like my Dad, who was crippled from the age of 5 and they said he would never live to 50. He was 84 and achieved more than most able bodied people could ever dream of.

Mum was only just over 5 foot tall and weighed 6 stone, wet through - I am the only one, she said having me was MORE than enough  :lol::lol:
She was one of 6 siblings and she said they literally had nothing to eat on many occasions. It was too painful for her to talk about, she always got upset. Bless her soul.

The ice cream look delicious, I will gather several scoops, thank you kindly.

Big hi to Toni, Carol and all our cafe friends. Right, let me at the ice cream.............

Love and Sparkles to everyone t4591 t115006 t115006 I will pop in later, take care XXXX Aidan

    Evening all :)

Late in again and shattered so going to try to be quick!

Had a busy day today Charley came over at 8am so coffee and toast and a good natter was in order. She is working at a nursing home and appreciates a good debrief with an ex-social worker ;)

Then had to nip to the supermarket then took Lucy over to a friends.....then picked her back up and cooked dinner. Also squeezed in a bit of ironing, a walk and even finished the last bit of my jigsaw!!

Tomorrow we are off to Brighton to visit my half-Aunts Kari Paul me and Lucy :)

Paul has found us a good vegan restaurant for dinner tomorrow night t4591

I wonder what was wrong with getting on here Carol - I've been ok hope it's not your laptop

All should settle after the funeral (())

Aidan I have some parma violet gin it's lovely (weaker than normal gin)by Boe :)

Sleek is expecting her catazon order tomorrow so can soon sort out Tosca's lugs

Sleek says Minerva is Tosca's mentor like Hermione is hers and was Pepe's.

there is a pusskin gallery and some of Sleeks pictures are copies of the originals stored there.

Right my neighbour is doing brilliantly she is amazing I just told Joan she's having speech therapy now. Pom is ok helping Lucy and me on the tombola at the book sale in Church on Saturday. The Rev is as lovely and gentle as ever saw her at Sunday's community service.

By the way those granola cups were the best breakie ever!! thank you :)

    Kath
I am very much hoping migs didn't have too much steroids too :?

We don't need the recipe just grabbing the ice cream ta!! oooh yum!! My own mum had rheumatic fever as a child too and her heart was affected. Bless then eh? :(

Barbara I have snapchatted and whatsapped you pics of sleek's ickle house for Niamh :)

Gosh I very much hope your BIL is ok ((()))

Glad you found Tony! You can't block Tjt!!

Joan my neighbour is doing brilliantly she is having speech therapy now at home :)

    Love to everyone

    Hi to all - it's raining again..........there is a song in there somewhere t111055 t111055 :D:D

Hi Carol, sorry you have had trouble with accessing the forum - As Toni said, I hope there are no gremlins in the computer. There are so many scams and such going round, trying to gain access to people's details........
You are all in limbo again, within such a short space of time too. Sending extra sparkles and thoughts t4591 t115006 to you all. You will feel settled again in a couple of weeks.
Enjoy the knit and natter group, what are you making at the moment ?

Hi Toni, late is fine, I am the master of being late to write, nothing has changed over the years

Charlie was early doors for coffee and breakfast. Any kind of caring, nursing, social working etc, requires a debrief for sure. Just the nature of the job. You have been there and have the T shirt, a bit like Matron :)

Then shopping, then taking Lucy out then picking her up then ironing, walking and doing a jigsaw - oh my, I would have had to lie down   :lol: No wonder you are tired.

Have a lovely time at your Aunts, with Kari Lucy and Paul, oh and the vegan restaurant, mmmm,

If I was not teetotal I would try all the new Gin flavours, some of them sound really nice and the colours are amazing t115006 t115006

Good, if Sleek new kullers are arriving today, I might go in for some of Mothers lugs, who will be thrilled I am sure, said no one, EVER.

Yes Minerva was Tosca's mentor and guardian during her formative years at Hogwarts. She is a highly skilled wizard and can take on the form of a cat too.

It is a long time since Mother went to the picture gallery, so she will pop over to Sleeks and take a look at her collection :)

So glad that your neighbour is doing so well and is having speech therapy, excellent, she is one determined lady and all credit to her. I will pop some magic squares around, to help her even more t115006 t115006

Pom is good too, the tombola stall is calling at the week end. They always do so well, everyone want a 5 or a 0 :lol:

And Rev Delphine is as wonderful as ever, that's good to hear :)

I wrote to the Rector in Skipton, the one who took such care at MIL funeral. I loaned her a book that my Dad had done, 50 years of sermon notes, writings, pictures, etc. in one volume, it is amazing. We are going to meet up with her at the Church in Skipton and collect it sometime soon.

Glad you liked the granola cups, crunchy and one is never enough :)

Hi to everyone else, Mig, thinking of you and sending loads of positive vibes your way t4591 t115006
Hi to Kerrin, Christine, DD, SW, Toady, Elizabeth and all

A bit of shopping to do today, some fresh croissants from Lidl (they are lovely), bring Dad back for lunch here. t4591

Time for another potter, keep these screeching bones moving.

Love and Sparkles to all t4591 t115006 t115006 Take care XXXX Aidan

Oh dear me! White chocolate and macadamia too  That's me Aidan thanks very much I'll take some extra for the journey :D

The catazon order is expected today and Sleek will be over later to colour Mother's hair if she so desires. Mother Glitter sparkles will be back!!

I think maybe Tosca will come over here to see Sleeks picture collection and meet Charley (who will be asleep being on nights...…) but she'll peep tp see another of Sleek's sisters. Safe to debrief to me just like Matron though sans uniform

Tosca has taught Sleek plenty about Minerva amongst other things. Sleek listens open-mouthed :D

I bet Skipton's Rector was really interested in your Dad's book! Such a wonderful memory of him to have Aidan. I bet his sermons have plenty to say!

Is the tyre light still off? I hope so.

Well Just got to have my shower and hairwash ready to visit the Aunts - so exited one this afternoon and one tomorrow morning!

I had to send pictures of Sleek's ickle house so Niamh could see it yesterday!!! Her little face when she saw it! She believes it all now :D :animal_busy:

Morning Joan we are off to Brighton this morning - back tomorrow to visit my Mum's half-sisters :)

    See you all later

Oh dear, Carol had problems getting on the cafe. Our mig is otherwise engaged t4591 and Aidan has screeching joints. Sending everyone gentle ((((hugs)))), love t4591 and t115006 t115006 sparkles. Now, off to find someting as tasty as those Granola, White Chocolate and Macadamia Nut Slices from Aidan.

Vegan parsnip, fruit and nut cake
    Ingredients
300g parsnips, trimmed and cut into large chunks
    100ml apple juice
2 tbsp maple syrup, plus 1 tbsp for the icing
    275g self-raising flour
    1 level tsp baking powder
    1 level tsp cinnamon
    175g Pure Dairy FreeSunflower Spread
    150g caster sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
125g dried dates, cut into raisin-sized pieces
100g pecans, chopped, plus a few whole pecans for decoration

Method Put the parsnips in a pan with the apple juice. Cover, and cook until tender.

Drain well, reserving 1 tbsp of the juice. Leave the parsnips to cool, then mash with the reserved juice and 2 tbsp maple syrup.

Pre-heat the oven to 180C/160C Fan/Gas 4. Grease and line a deep 24cm round tin. Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon together, and set aside.

Beat the sunflower spread, caster sugar and vanilla extract together until light and creamy.

Stir in the cold parsnip purée, flour mixture, dates and chopped pecans.

Transfer to the tin and bake for 35 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Mix the icing sugar with 1 tbsp maple syrup. Drizzle over the cake. Decorate with the whole pecans.

Afternoon to all - mild, but quite t111055 t111055 today.

You help yourself to the granola with all the goodies in it, plenty for all, on your journey to and from Brighton. Sleek said to Mother that you had abandoned her to visit famm lie

I think Mother put her worries to bed, that you were coming back from the see syde later today. They shared some sweets and mother was busy choosing which colours to have applied............... t115006 t115006

They did go back through the gate to view Sleeks ickle house and the art gallery inside. Mother was impressed, which takes some doing these days :?:lol:
They peeped at Charley, almost touching, with their whiskers t115006 t115006

Tosca Mother Glitter Sparkles is passing on so much information to Miss Sleek, all of it in private, usually over a pilchard latte

The Rector said she has really enjoyed reading dads notes of so many sermon's. He was never one to draw things out, always made things interesting, usually with props, which he used to send flying from the pulpit, on many an occasion, with yours truly, nipping out to pick them up :lol:

Tyre light is still out, all ok at time of writing...........with all the potholes, it's a wonder the light is not on permanently   At least they have filled the one on our little bridge, it was a really deep one and you could not avoid it. Needless to say I have been on at the Council, along with several other people :D:D
I bet Niamh is over the moon, with Sleeks ickle house, it's all true, every bit of it t4591 t115006 t115006

Safe journey there and back, have a lovely time

Hi Joan and Sue, hope you have mild weather too, it is very warm for February. I wonder if we will pay for it in March, when the winds blow t110007 t110007
We do enjoy the car very much.

Hi Barbara - you were having a "moment" of warmth then, overnight m0150 It is strange weather. I am guessing there will be some cold weather in March, it is always windy. In like a mouse, out like a lion or whatever the saying is.

Mum and her siblings did struggle, her eldest Sister was the one who looked after the rest, as Gran died when my Mum was 3 years old. Gdad remarried, but that caused a who ha with the eldest, she walked out of one door, when step mum walked in the other. I think Mum said she remembers collapsing with shock.

I knew the Rector would look after Dads Sermon book, you are right, sometimes you lend things and you know you will never see them again.

We picked Dad up today, went to Lidl, then Tesco, Dad was quite confused at times, he looked a little wan, so we decided as we were passing the T room and we could park outside the door, we would go in.
The pecan pastries are wonderful, in fact I could happily work my way through the whole display :lol: We bough some of the little custard pasties, I think they are an Italian recipe, they look good anyway.

We will have to try the alcohol free gin and tonics, not sure where I saw them........... :?

Glad that your BIL is in less pain today - more sparkles on the way t115006 t115006 t4591

More sparkles and love to Mig too t4591 t115006 Keeping you in our thoughts

Hi Kath Thank you for the gentle ((())) still ouching, but keeping up with the pain dullers, increasing my Tramadol as required. Needs must, will be ok and ease off again............just one of those things   which we all have :? :?

Have you managed to get out and about, maybe an ice cream at the Co Op, weather permitting. Now, was the DN coming today? I know one had cancelled the other, last week

Parsnip fruit and nut cake, I bet is tastes delicious, thank you kindly. I will slather some butter on and put the kettle on for us all to have T. :D:D

Hi to Carol, I hope you enjoyed tour knit and natter group, will take your mind off things, with a little get together. t4591
Many ((())) and sparkles t115006 to you and yours.

Mig, we are all thinking of you t4591 t4591

Hi to everyone else, in and about.

B has bad toothache so we are off to the dentist in Skipton tomorrow. I think the tooth will be coming out, much to B's relief. 4pm appt, late in the day for us, but, necessary.

    Hello everyone.

Weather here today has been most pleasant sunny and not really cold in fact quite mild and dry.

Toni My you have been busy today no wonder you are shattered Hope you have all enjoyed you day in Brighton I like it there. I really have no idea what was wrong with getting into the forum but all ok now. It may be my laptop as I can only keep it going if it is plugged into the mains. I am sure all will settle down after the funeral on the 8th of March.
Aidan Sorry you are getting the rain not nice our joints don't like the damp. thanks for the extra sparkles I am sure things will be better after the funeral. its just the waiting. trouble is a lot of my family are on fb and every time you go on there one of them has put a photo on there of her and of her and her brothers and sisters including my mum. so sort of always being reminded of the situation {Not that I have forgotten anyway} still if thats their way of coping so be it. and I do love seeing some of the old photos. Knitting group was good today I am crocheting a blanket of many colours as I call it using up all my left over balls of wool.

Joan thank you its nice to know others are thinking of us at this sad time it helps a lot. Hope you and Sue are ok and that Sue is getting on well with her teeth.

Barbara yes we are all okay thanks, and you are quite correct about time going nowhere it just seems to run away into a big black void.

Kath thanks for the sparkles and the forum problem has righted itself now.:lol: technology is great when it works :? :?

Hi to all - Weather seems to be set fair, for a good while, very mild, for February m0150

Hi Carol I think the rain will have finished by this morning, maybe Beatrice will keep clean, after her next polish.

The waiting is the worst thing, when someone has passed. Not easy when social media is so prevalent in our lives now and people post lots of pictures, which does keep reminding you, without a doubt.

I know I post photo's, on days that family passed, or their birthdays. As you say, if it eases some of the hurt for them.

Glad you enjoyed your knit and natter, in your case crochet and chatter :) Is it your Joseph and his coat of many colours t115006 t115006 I feel a song coming on

Good that you have not had any more problems with accessing the forum :) What would we do without or technical devices, what did we do?

Hi to Mig, hope you are resting at home, keeping away from bugs and the like - keeping up the positive thoughts and gentle hugs ((())) t4591 t115006

Hi Toni, hope you have had a good day out, visiting your Aunt in Brighton. I bet it was quite mild on the south coast :)

Sleek came over to sit with Mother, eat sweets and watch SYTTD, a little hair colour applied, just a hint of rainbow t115006 t115006

First spi--r of the year, on the draining board after supper   glad I wasn't washing up. It was not a granddad one, but none the less, it is far too early for them :? :?

Quiet evening here, naturally I am now on spid-- watch, until October   We need Carol and Kath to sort them out, tell them to get back to sleep for a few months yet.

At home today, for the most part, then off to Skipton to the Dentist at 4.

Hi to everyone else, in and about.

All the animals in the sanctuary are doing just fine, the keepers and vets are taking great care. I did notice two more giraffes had arrived. No sign of the meerkats, they still think it is arctic weather t110007

Hi to all, finally, better late than never..................

Another warm day, more like mid April m0150 m0150 had the AC on in the car, in February

Hi Toni, I am guessing you will all be home by now, after your overnight stay in Brighton, visiting your Aunts. Hope you had a lovely time, now you need a restful day, to keep the paybacks at bay.

The vegan restaurant sounds lovely :)

Sleek has spent quite a bit of time with Mother glitter sparkles t115006 they went up to Pendle early morning and gathered some light mists for the Nymphs.
Took said mist and had a fishy latte, sat outside on the terrace.

Sleek said you would be howm after your see syde fam leee visit - Mother made sure she was stocked up on sweets and they enjoyed throwing litter  :lol:
Yes, to look at Sleeks ickle house, all appears normal, but when puskins go in, there is room after room. It will never come out on a photo, we are not privvy to ickle house magic t115006

Hi Barbara - glad you enjoyed the French toast and berries, they did look very good indeed.

Keeping the big ouches at bay, stepping up the Tramadol. B's tooth was fine, the Dentist said, looks like an abcess, as his face is swollen on the right side. AB's for a week, then re lign the plate.

Thank you for the hugs and sparkles t115006 t115006

Ne'er cast a clout till May is out, for sure. Mind you, Mother never went without at least one jumper or cardigan, even in the heatwaves

I was lathered, hence the AC went on for a while.

Glad the sanctuary is having another extension, Johnny is always out, rescuing animals. We have Otters too, sea otters, they have a massive pool and rocks to climb and plenty of seaweed.

So your middle GD had some very large false eyelashes on :lol: they do look a bit like spiders  :lol:

Hope you had a lovely time at the GC, enjoying the mild weather.

How is your BIL doing? Sending sparkles over to him t115006 t115006

Hi Joan and Sue All was ok at the dentist, some AB's, trimmed the plate which was pushing on one of Bs own teeth.

Good that you live where it is all nice and flat, makes it much easier to get about

B's Uncle and Aunt, who live in your town, are away in Australia and New Zealand at the moment, for a month.

Hi Kath - good that your were out and about on Tuesday, with your ice cream and a sit on the benches.
Martin came Wednesday, bloods done. Hopefully appointments will be back on track now.

Thank you for putting Florence and Clarence on standby, they will need to exercise a little, after a winter of hibernation. :?

A liberty bodice, not hear of one of them in a long long time :lol: I am sure Mum had one or two

Vegan Cob Salad, it looks delicious, so I will dive in there, thank you kindly. t4591

Hi to Mig, thinking of you and sending lots of ((())) t4591 t115006

Hi Carol, trust you are all as ok as can be. Lunch with Mr T and coffee with your friend later. I hope she is in a better frame of mind this week :? :?

We did not arrive home until 5pm, went into B & M before the dentist, gathered a few "bargains", as you do. I wanted every Unicorn in the shop :lol: one of them walked and neighed, then its tail shook and it made sparkly noises, I was most put out when B said, no.  :cry:
This is the one I wanted :lol:

Quiet evening, sorting some washing / drying, normal things..........

GC this morning, take Dad out and about, then pick up some shopping. Beatrice will have to have a clean, BIL and SIL are coming over at the week end and we cannot have her looking mucky :o:o

Time for a potter. Leaving lots of love and sparkles to everyone t4591 t115006 Take care XXXX Aidan

Don't ask me how to pronounce it - bit it looks very good.

What a unicorn that is!!! t115006 t115006 £29.99 from home bargains it must be super expensive in other shops  Sleek wants one too now  what is she like  apparently she has a unicorn room in her ickle house as well. Shame we peepelz can't see in isn't it? :(

Mother did a good job keeping her happy while we were at the see syde. fishy lattes and mists....all good :) To be honest I wouldn't have been surprised to see them on the front, but no sign of them at all. They are partial to fish and chips sat in a deck chair so I am told :? :?

Aunts are both doing well both, on their own though. One lives in Brighton T centre almost the other Burgess Hill. Looked at photos, showed photos and caught up on news t4591

Going to rest a bit today if I can. Tia is visiting later and we have a film night at the community centre to go to. Kari is coming and oddly enough Lucy is being a make-up model tonight  like Barbara's GD...

Barbara did you see that??!! Seriously though we came home to a terr*****a on the wall in the lounge Lucy got it down with the sp***r catcher and popped safely outside.

Temp got up to 17.5 but oh what along journey home last night!!

we need the soldier sp****s ready and on duty ASAP odd this normally it's August :?

I'll have some vegan salad looks lovely :)

    Joan
we had a great time so glad we went. One Aunt had two Siamese the other has a chihuahua crossed with a Jack Russel!

Not too long now for Carol's Aunt's funeral then I very much hope she will have a break from upsets for a good while ((()))

Going to check on Mig's thread....

    Love to everyone

Florence and Clarence doing their daily workout. I think Clarence has to have a rethink, but he means well. Notice they have their hooman disgises on so's not to upset anyone - Aidan and Toni for example.

Toni, had to giggle at Lucy's post on FB, Pancake Polly - I'm sure you get it Toni.

Root vegetable ‘toad in the hole’ From "Arthritis Action"

    SERVES: 3 -4
    Ingredients:

    Roasted roots

350g root vegetables or squash (I used whole purple Chantenay carrots and prepared butternut squash)

    1 red onion

    1 tablespoon oil

    Batter

    100g plain wholemeal flour

    1 medium egg

    250ml milk

1 tbs pumpkin seeds (or you could use mixed seeds)

    2 tsp wholegrain mustard

    1/2 tsp baking powder

    Recipe Summary

While meat is a great source of protein and important nutrients such as iron, we generally eat too much of it in the West, both for our health and for the environment. However, many people are often concerned that a meat-free meal will be an unsatisfying one. This hearty recipe shows that you can have a filling and healthy dinner minus the meat. Root vegetable ‘toad-in-the-hole’ is very adaptable — try parsnips, sweet potatoes and even beetroot. For a no-chop version use baby carrots and replace the red onion with baby leeks.

The traditional batter is made healthier by using wholemeal flour and adding pumpkin seeds. If you want to make it dairy-free and gluten-free, simply use almond milk and a good all-purpose gluten-free flour blend. To keep the fat content down, try making this in a no-stick roasting tin or disposable foil tin so the batter doesn’t stick too much.

    Method:

    Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC/375ºF.

Peel the red onion and cut into six wedges. Scatter the onion wedges into a roasting tin or casserole dish. Add the root vegetables, drizzle with oil and toss everything around a little to make sure all the vegetables have an even coat of oil.

Bake the vegetables for 15-20 minutes.

Meanwhile, put all the batter ingredients, except the seeds, in a jug and beat together either by hand or using a stick blender or milk frother. Add the seeds to the mixed batter and stir.

After the vegetables have been cooking for 15-20 minutes, remove the tin from the oven and pour the batter in. Put the dish back in the oven and bake for a further 20-30 minutes or until the batter is well risen and crispy.

    Serve immediately.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Sue and Joan, have a good day out at the pub. I prefer a cup of tea, but might try one of the new gins.

Off to nosy round the sanctuary, now we have some new guests, I must meet them.

Hi to all - It sure has been a lovely day Barbara - I think we posted at the same time :lol:

Cooler now, the heating has just come on, for the first time since this morning.

You have never had toad in the hole,  well, it is more than high time to try it :) Even with veggie sausages it is wonderful. You can get them ready done, frozen. Dad always made their own, with the batter mix rising up Heavenward :lol:

We used to have spare clothes on all the wards, just in case. I remember there were the liberty bodices in stock, the rubber buttons reminded me of them :lol: almost as bad as trying to get TED stockings on   boy you worked up a sweat when half the patients had to wear them :? :?

I think the AB's are working a bit now, B's face is less swollen. The dentist said the tooth was fine, so it could be a sinus problem :? either way, the AB's will help.

We like B and M and also Home Bargains, not sure where the nearest home bargain shop is now...........Accrington, to answer my own question. Not been to one in a long time. Might have to have a little trip.

Yes, I don't mind any Unicorns :) t115006 thank you kindly. It makes a noise though, neighs and trots along and swishes its tail :lol: t115006 t115006 Bill might just hear it :? :?:lol:

It was busy at the GC, by the time we left, people were waiting for tables, some people were sat out in the m0150 m0150 it was so warm.
Scones were perfect, as always :)

Bea is sparkling clean and ready to be seen by BIL. No rain on the horizon for a week   Is it possible we could have a gleaming car, for more than a day m0150

I am glad to hear that your BIL came home yesterday. What are they like eh, he could get plenty of help, attendance allowance at the very least. You can apply for another person, as long the person can sign the forms, just a thought t4591 I will send some sparkles for him to change his mind and agree to some help. It would pay for someone to come in and do things for them. t4591

Glad you enjoyed a sit in the park and then a cup of coffee at the little cafe :) All the bulbs are coming up now, daffies are coming out, spring has sprung early doors.

You were just in time for the ice cream cake. There are several, as I suspect Toni might take a running jump into one, Kath as well :lol:

Hi Toni, hope you enjoyed the cinema night at the community centre, sleek was telling mother that you had gone to the pick - churs  :lol:
I think they have lots of trips organised for this coming week, with the fine weather. t4591 t115006 then of course there is Mothers Birthday celebration t4591 t4591

Hi Carol Hope you had a nice lunch with Mr T and coffee with your friend was a more pleasant experience this week.
Is it open morning at Church today?

    Keeping all in our thoughts.

Hi to Mig, much love and positive vibes coming your way too. t4591 t115006

Hi to everyone else, in and about.

BIL and SIL will be here by 1, so lunch will be very early for us. Cakes at the ready, not that SIL has a sweet tooth - much  :lol:

Time I was pottering again, before I set solid.

Leaving lots of love and sparkles to all t4591 t115006 XXXX Aidan

Had to have a shower after my ice cream cakes Aidan and I put the cake booth on a super-duper wash with extra rinse...

Now have I got room...? Yes definitely for some breakfast very civilised thanks :)

Kari and Mrs D have everything planned for Tosca's birthday tea including something with anchovies and something to do with caviar (catiar). Kari has everything in hand and it's still a secret from Junior - er I mean Tommy-Thumb! Mother does indeed 'Mother' Sleek not sure why it might be because Sleek cares about her very much and is so interested in learning from Tosca :?

Sleek thinks going to film nights is daft when she has umpteen SYTTDs recorded

Sleek wants to meet the Siamese next time one is called.....ready? TIA!!!

Nice to see Silver popping in to see all is well - probably keeping an eye on mig :?

Liberty bodices were NOT liberating were they? That was the one think they were not :lol: Poor you having to put on multiple ted stockings!! One pair kills me

Gosh I wonder what is wrong with B if it's not his teeth. An x-ray no doubt proved that :? If it happens again the Dr will have to have a look :?

I am pleased to hear Bea is all sparkling Sleek has had a look and even refrained from climbing on top for a better look....very good of her I must say. BIL will be suitably impressed. SIL will love the cakes which are ready (so is noo-noo!)

Tia and I had a great afternoon yesterday listening to songs for their first dance. The list is down to 3 t4591 t4591 t4591

Lucy did not like the make-up that was done either Barbara! She was totally overdone  and Lucy herself knows how to ladle it on

The film night was fabulous we really enjoyed it. You get a glass of wine or orange juice. It's watching it with friends that does it for me.

If you got BIL the forms and said you could fill them in...like Aidan said he only has to sign then? Mind he has his pride so you may have to respect his wishes :?

If your husband is happy to help then popping bits down from time to time will probably be very useful.

Kath yes I did see Lucy's post! She had pancakes we all had the veggie full-English!! Oh and she had a bowl of fruit too.

Clarence and Florence are wise to wear their hooman outfits so as not to scare us cowardy-custards

I would love some toad in the hole t4591

Who has arrived in the sanctuary?? I noticed one area is cordoned off :?

Sue we all think about you too hope the pub was good :)

Love to Carol and of course mig
