'A dog free cuppa'? Now that does sound interesting. Unusual, but interesting. Does that mean I get an entire one to myself? Wow! Just hold those steps steady while I get down. Now, after the cuppa we'll get that floor down.

And please, please stop apologising. For what? Missing a post? I wish that was all I needed to apologise for.

Lucy remembers having a go with the clippers a bit back.....are you using the gennie? and like REAL shears???

Re the drip...the whole idea of visiting is to be there for the drip and would have been theer longer if it wasn't that Lucy has a party on the weds and also an appt for two teeth out (for her brace) on the friday :???:

Not so bad with vomit

    Hi Sticky,

Oh would that that was the only thing I have to apologize for.....:lol: My family have me apologizing for breathing to be honest ... then there's the foal.... then there's .... and so it goes on

Least there is sun on the roof today.. does it get hot  i wondered cus Maddie seems to be dancing about.... but Miss L Legs does have a fireman's costume and is also the proud owner of a fire engine... where does a dog get one of those from  She said don't you worry even if its just a slither of smoke she is ready with the hoses.....

I don't envy you  (Toni might think you got the best deal though on reflection  xx

    Hi Joan,

Need some fences done as well if your up to it?

Your right about the weariness getting to you... I am so shattered I can hardly keep my eyes open.... I Guess It will pass but its not easy to work through so I have given up trying for a bit... Lazy or what.

Hope Sue and your are both fine and have a bit f decent weather, I reckon it helps. xx

    Hi Toni,

We could try the big ones on Bre but they just don;t work on Wish... though we could try.....

Its not easy and they are vulnerable to cuts by the shears as well if you're not careful but your help will be worth so much as I don't know if I can do a whole one and Bre wont be easy.... might have to turn her to be honest... we shall see.....

Glad you god with vomit... you might have to be.... sorry in advance cus i throw up for the UK some days.... last midline all 5..... this time its 5 days crammed into 4 so the risk of sickness is higher.... ((((( ))))) and really looking forward to seeing you again..... will try to be a bit less wished by then as well. xxx

Just dropping in to say hello and to leave a hug with you, will be thinking of you on Thursday, so good that you are going to have frogmorton with you, having read her posts she sounds like just the right person to have around - kind, gentle and a good streak of mischief and humour - mostly so very caring.

Go easy on yourself in the coming days, and I hope through it all you will have time to relax and enjoy having fm for company as well as all the support she will give - hugs for both of you.

    Hugs all round x

    Hi Rose,

Wow with Bruno in my pocket i would feel safe even with that horrible sister  He would keep her out the room for me wouldn't he? I will find him some smako's but def not the marrow rolls  1st dog I ever met that didn't like them.. though he did eat a couple but humouring me I think

Well you met Bre and your oh did catch her but.... my money is on it being interesting  It was with the vet and I......but the other night she ran pat me so close I was able to grab her... bit like an explosion and a triple stamp foot as well

    Morning Cris,

Maddie has been keeping Stciky woram during the winds she is a real little hot water bottle. but she was a bit put out yesterday as she sisn't get to test auntie sticky's cup of tea first she got her own back with lunch though sticky that salad sandwich was supposed to be cheese salad but Maddie confesses  she got to the cheese first.

Cris I am glad you have frog with you for the start of you drip i know you hate it and the sick thing is horrible but it is for your own good it will help you and you do need to have it done, Maddie says if you would like she will abandon auntie sticky and stay with you the whole time she says you can talk to her and she will look at you an listen very hard and when you are feeling sick she will rub you back with her paw.

Meanwhile i think we should get a group together to get that shed finished. so DD can you organise everyone, miss L Legs could you get your bob the builder outfit on (not so much for working but it will give us all a laugh.) now i need a volunteer for Floor, Door, Windows and fencing. I think i will have a go at the fencing i can get Maddie, slurps and Bruno (if i can borrow him) to do a bit of digging with me.

i will be thinking of you cris you do more than anyone i know so don't be hard on yourself "give yourself a break"........

OOH Maddie has just walked through the door she says she left you snoring away. But she says you do stay up late she did try to nudge you to go to bed early but you said you still had some posts to do.

Sending you loads of Hugs(((()))) and some more of the shortbread you love
Love Tracey and maddie (who sends loads of kisses)

Don't worry about stuff back here. I'll still be on the roof when you get back & I'll send Maddie down for supplies as & when. I'll allow no foaling to happen until you're ready for it.

    Be thinking of you.

The hospital rang, going in an hour earlier now... but they talking of permanent ones again. The risk is if they keep doing midlines for life the veins will collapse and these are major veins....

I hate the idea of being bad enough to need a perminent one you know. I know I am getting bad but this kinda makes me relize they might be right in the things they have said about the circulation over the years......

I am better with my head in the sand over all this shift really........

Hey the good thing is that they will be ultra sounding the veins so I am going to see if she would (if I groveled) look at the one my neck effects.... I hope she will....

    Hi Tracey and Maddie,

Yep she can come with... Bruno would definitely keep us all safe fro the BS! Without being able to moan at me over not being able to get a line in what will she moan at me now for?

Right you got the dogs party assembled? Miss L Legs has her flack jacket, clip bored and hard hat on. She is ready and willing to make the dogs work and they can do the door i think don't you?

You know it would be so nice to wake up and find it had miraculously finished its self  Maybe I should talk to the house elf

Hope your ok there flower and that Maddie is looking after you for the times she isn't here... hey for next week I will trade you Maddie looking after me for Slurps looking after you... she does calm occasionally..... got no brain though..... none at all.....

    Makes me like einstein :lol::lol:

Leaving a cuppa and a (((((( )))))) and of course a smako for Maddie xx

    Hi Sticky,

thanks flower and it will be interesting to see the state of the veins and arties in the arms. Just hope I can keep the midline flushed and safe till Tuesday when the hospital takes over........

She said the trailing bit wont be too long... don't want it getting caught up in anything sheep or bale like now do I  Got some tubigrip to put over it if she hasn't

You take good care of it all cus I shall be gone a good 3 hours aas the hospital will take one and a half apparently.... no wonder they are reluctant to do them... and its then of to the sheeps before coming home.

Another Mostly dog free cuppa and a ((((( ))))) with a handful of nails to belt in...... xx

    Hello Cris

Just popping in to say "hello" and to wish you lots of luck for tomorrow. Will be thinking of you loads.

Still racking my brains to think of of a deer-proof hidey hole, now that Miss L Legs has sold climbing gear to the deer . So, for the time being, have left tea under the bench, and CDM in the barn-owl box at the top of the tree cos I reckon that if the deer does manage to get that high, the fearsome owl will scare him off! (I don't think owls eat CDM so I reckon it'll be safe enough there til you can get to it).

    Loads of love and ((()))s

You're a star, skezier. Nail belting could be my next set of exercises but first I'll be on foal watch.

Cris, Hope all goes well for you I know you hate the thought of a permanent midline but on the plus side you wouldn't have to go through this everytime.

I will swop you Maddie for Slurps for the next week I will send Maddie with her little nurses apron a bucket wet cloth and some cooling wipes for when you are not well..she cleans up really well(at least she uses her tail to sweep most things under the chair).

Sticky Maddie says she will have to desert you for a week but she will be up with goodies every hour.....oh and she will bring you more nails.

wouldn't it be nice to have a house elf, although in your case cris you need a garden elf who specialises in sheds..

I am sure miss L Legs will get all the dogs organised for you, chicken duties (will make sure slurps is not on that one) sheep duties, shed duties they will all be very busy.

I will be thinking of you today

Loves and extra hugs(((((((()))))))) Tracey (no maddie she is on her way back as we speak)

    HI All

just a quick post to update you about Cris.

She's asked me to thank you all for being with her, and for all the support which is greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't think everything was plain sailing ..... it took 4 attempts ..... 2 in each arm .... before they got the midline done

I think she went through it a bit, and was planning on taking things a little easy .... but the 'employers' had other ideas and gave her a 'welcome home' gift she'd rather not have had

I'm sure when she's sorted out the employers and their mess (prison warden Miss L Legs is keeping guard on them at the moment  ) and had a good rest tonight, Cris will be able to report in much more detail tomorrow.

IN the mean time PA WOnky signing out with big hugs for you all from Cris (((((((((((()))))))))))))) and a tanker load of hugs for Cris ((((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))
