    Hello Cris

So sorry you are still struggling so much with what happened with the foal. I really don't think you could have done any more than you did and I hope that, with time, you will start to feel easier about it.

Thanks for the CDM and the mug of tea you left in the tree for me yesterday! Good plan - the deer didn't get it this time, although I am sure I saw what looked suspiciously like deer hoof-prints on the tree bark so he obviously tried! Tea and CDM (further up) in the tree for you.

    Thinking of you lots.

    Love and hugs,

    Tilly xxx

Cris, we need to do some positive thinking the other foals are going to be fine and you did all you could and much more.

Now i will be forced to get Maddie to push Sticky off the roof soon lump hammer in hand. and unless you have a video to hand then what a waste.
can you just imagine a westie on the roof with it's head somewhere Sticky would prefer not to have it and then Sticky sliding very lady like down the roof with lump hammer at the ready.....

we are still with you all the way through this and will help you anyway we can

Love Tracey and Maddie(she's getting ready to push you know)

    Hi Cris,
Oh the guilt thing it is a head banger isn’t it? But it does fade and deep down you know it has to go. I know it is hard to get the image out of your mind and it is normal to feel the ‘if only’ thing.

Now this dinning club I have going here....did you mention a psycho outfit.:lol: Maybe our bovine friend would like a proper natter with the plus one. Good news about getting the camera and midline going on the same day.... I think???
    Hugs as always,

    Hi Cris

I do hope as Wonky says that you are having a rest tonight instead of wandering these halls as we do! I must get a life flower, but Cris you do have one to be proud of even though it takes it's toll, so hang onto that thought. I know the replays are tough, done enough of them in my time but I hope it helps to spill a little of the thoughts out here as you have done over your loss.

We really do wish we could make things easier, hell I would sponsor a sheep/cat/dog/ any other critter as required if you would let me? I am quite serious with that thought. We could all consider adopting a leg or two in return for all the support you give here. Sorry I shoudn't speak for others but that is genuinely how I feel.

Leaving hugs and healing and hoping you can find some peace tonight.
    love, healing hugs ((( ))))
and a cuppa if Wonky hasn't drunk it all!

Hi Tony, Berty, DD, Sticky, Julie, Joan, Tilly, Tracey, I, Wonky, Chris and all,

It late.... had huge fatigue today and fought it all day till about 5.30.... then unscheduled armchairing and it was 8 as near as when I woke up. that put me out for the evening and I haven't long been back from the sheeps..... who did look at their watches and made some comment about not being able to get the staff.....

Wish is much better though and less lame so thats good and we have brought the metacam down to a very low does

Tony hey with all you have been going through tis no wonder you haven't kept up! leaving a ((( ))) for you and Janet and a hope. xx

Berty I am sure your right somewhere inside me honest. Its only been a week and it was horrible and thats just going to take a bit of time. The next one better be ok...... xx

DD tis something that has to be worked through eh? Its just this visualisation thing..see i am quite good at it but it means it can turn on you and you see things play back as well..... never diverted from what happened so that something eh?! Other wise they would be after me..... Ta for the hugs and love. leaving both for you as well. xx

Sticky well beware of westies is all I can say  Mind it might take Maddie knocking you off so you do hit me with the lump hammer  If your lucky the piebald in the mask will save you  xx

Julie a ton of hugs coming back to you. Its early days and I was looking forward to this one as primmy (her last years foal) was a joy to meet .... now she is big and a yearling she is more interesting mind  xx

Joan Its never easy is it flower... still 2 more to go as I am now fairly sure Owns has got a foal in there and as its smaller maybe this year she will have a filly? Hope you and Sue are fine? xx

Tilly Yes he has been in huddles with the cats so he might be learning tree climbing.... I found it hadn't been touched so we are safe for mow but there were a few deer holes on the trunk and I think he is trying to make some steps in it now..... I have left you tea, cdm and a hug in the hammock... that he can't reach  xx

Tracey I can imagine her doing it... Sticky wont mind though she likes dogs.... though after been pushed off the roof she might not

Ta for the loan of Maddie she seems to think I should have gone to bed hours ago and I think I agree with her as well actually..... My brain id so fogged out just now as well. xx

I Oh he would love to bring the plus one... i asked him tonight.... while he was trying to intimidate again.... He really is a big lad now as well... I paid the toll of hay and escaped before it was finished but they did think I might have more for them, even though they had some still....

You might get a drake as well this weekend for the first time ever he got a bit nasty as well... how big is your over?

Hope the mtx is working and your feeling ok? xx

Wonky Thanks for the platinum hugs... I need ed them as the estuary mud just wasn't deep enough  Like walking through treacle! I am so late but there is a beautiful full moon..... Hope you are feeling ok and a huge bucket of hugs and even some of that sub standard choc for your oh  xx

Chris/b] Hope your not wandering the halls this late tonight? I have had such huge fatigue today and the head is mush.... well when isn't it?! Ta fr the tea.... she couldn't get the Cornish tea cus we hid it a while ago cus its all mine...... I will share it though.

Its getting easier Chris but its just a week and it did trigger the other one and anther thing that I hope I am not about to tell you on public forum  You say you need to get a life... I certainly do but this Lot are a good barrier to that

Hope you had a good duvet day and leaving a bit of cdm (watch the deer doesn't steal it) and a hug xx

Oh I can just see those sheep checking the time - and I just checked the time of your post. Good grief Penfold. Was that the unscheduled armchairing that threw you all out of sync or just everything you contend with? I hope your day is passing OK and that you are enjoying your birthday. DD

    Hi Berty,

Ah the moon was 'ansom last night and will be tonight but there is a ton of cloud so can't see it just now. It was late yesterday but all done early tonight and going to turn in (though not sure what into just yet) early tonight.

Hope you are oik and leaving a ((((( ))))) xx

    Hi DD,

Combination of the unschedule armchairng early evening making me so late to do the girls and then the very unsettling gateway incident which left me shuddering for the next 2 hours

Hey the fatigue only got once today so thats an improvement but the cold has just reinfected so will see what tomorrow bring... ark lights for the gate I think

Hope you have/had a decent night and thanks  ((((( ))))) xx

    Hi Julie,

Oh a glass instead... good plan and much appreciated

They look at their watches if I am late but they didn't tonight cus I was on time but thats sheep for you, fickle to the hilt  leaving a coffee and a ((((( ))))) xx

I am not surprised you were unsettled - but that thing will definitely be lacking the required physical equipment to deal with you, no fear on that front! Oh, and I can hear the Cornish burr in your reply to berty - 'Ah the moon was 'ansom. . . ' Utterly gorgeous.

I hope you had a better night, preferably in bed and without any visitaions apart from the furry kind that are as essential to you as breathing is to us lot. Any CDM left or has it all mysteriously vanished? I send some love and some hugs, and a top-up for each of the courage, strength, fortitude and energy buckets. DD

Nothing to report yet from the roof except I'm in danger of death by licking.

    Hi DD,

part from that small heart increasing blind fear moment it was a decent night

Hope you are having a reasonable day as well? hey just managed to get my boots on as well so the bones are getting a bit better at moving. ((((( ))))) and yep loads of cdm left... though less after an early comfort breakfast  xx

    Hi Sticky,

You got the clout nails up thee as well? I think it needs a few round the back still if you could.....

Hey no bagging up yet but thats a big foal in there..... the other one, I think is and as she is smaller than normal I think possible its a filly and might come early though again not due till the end of next month.

You want your dinner Slurp asked casually licking her lips..... xx

I'm always up for clouting anything, skezier. Not very accurate, I'm afraid, so best keep out of the way while I'm doing it.

Yeah, dinner would have been nice. Would it be better to send it with one of the sheep next time? I know I could do with losing a pound or two but....

    Hi Sticky,

here I have dropped you up dinner this time cus unless its choc I won't eat it  Clout this lot in cus i was shattered again, fell asleep in the armchair with a completed shed and woke up with half a side lifted....

now you were up there so what happened.....

Time I made the door eh?! the lodgers should be for ever pleased I got such bad fatigue i didn't see them do this........ else it really would have been lump hammers at dusk......

Best go find that electric fence....... and see if it works but does that mean trying to stand up and walk  You gt any energy up there... might be some left in the bucket if you can get to it from the roof? xx

    Hi DD,

Right well I will extend the table for Sunday then. Better put some cushions on the chairs as well looks as if it’s going to be a long afternoon.

Hope the bones are being a little kinder and the weather has turned a bit warmer for you. What happened to the shed? Has it become a scratching post?? Yikes....
Oh the mtx is still bubbling nicely n025.gif thanks for asking. I have to decide if I am going to increase to 15mg soon.

Cris, I am sending Maddie early this evening just incase you haven't caught the chicken she has alsway thought she was a sheep dog so has offerred to round them up for you.
I thought the sheep hoof prints made a nice additonal to the cake yesterday.

I hope all goes well on Thursday please take care and make the most of the rest that you are getting. don't go and over do it now.

Now Sticky Maddie says she will keep licking until you manage to stay awake on your own, and please don't keep allt he food for yourself she is very partial to a bit of cheese.... ooh and she says sorry for pushing so hard yesterday but she didn't want you to miss the sheep's party.

Dinner was great. You're much better at delivering it than Slurps though the cheese disappeared into Maddie at some point.

I did think my bed shook a bit in the night but no worries - I've had my sleep and my dinner so plenty of energy to spare. I'll send it via Slurps.

Hope you get some sleep too. This is how you do it....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
