Afternoon my lovely, I hope all is well with you and the Ark. When is sticky going to be allowed to come down from the roof? I hope you found summat good on the MP3 thingymajig, I am still deadmauing and Ulrich Schnaussing as per usual - with a bit of Adele21 thrown in for good measure. (ie, three tracks from dead, three from Ulrich and four from Adele). Listening to entire albums is hard work. Oh, and a bit of Satie too. Feeling nostalgic for my piano-playing days. DD

Hi I, Fudge, Tracey, Maddie, Sticky, Chris, Joan, DD and Barbara,

Tis a bright and very windy morning and I just have to go do a sale... well have to load the car first.... might help eh?! Tea and a ton of tablets first mind and then.... dodge the rodent and find something that will make my fortune.... Got her ladyships vet bill.... they just think of a number and then put '0's on the end

Bit higher than I was expecting for sure....

I Hope the mtx will wok and you can stay on 15?

Glad you have extended the table as there is a caravan of things wondering your way..... even got a shed scratching lodger or two in it as well  Going to have to get some special powder i think and thats just for me

Hope you are having a good weekend? xx

Fudge thanks for your 2nd cousin 3x remover's hammer... tis all fixed for now..... Got to do a door but thats not easy cus the sawing there isn't a way round though a lodger or two did say they would break the planks if I would rather....

Slurpy said could you collect some eggs later as she is out all morning and she doesn't want me to actually know how many she is eating now a days..... Hope you had a good night and a decent day? xx

Tracey and Maddie the sheeps party was ok but they are not the best hosts... they are also not so good at sharing but hope you both got a smidgen of cake in the end?

They sticking the midline in under ultrasound so they must be able to find the vein and thats one up on the usual for sure  Not sure about having the 5 days into 4 but its that or Saturday as well and I can't cope with the idea f having it on the weekend as well..... Just hate it at the best of times but can't pretend i don't need it really...... hay might even manage to stay awake a week after

Leaving a vat of tea and a rope for Maddie as its windy up on that shed..... she might have to rope Strictly down as well..... xx

Sticky see I do think of you up there and ropes are safer than bungee ropes... mind they might be more fun?

Glad you got your dinner and the spare energy Slurps kept.... she has far too much already but typical dog, she keeps everything as it must be hers!

Left your breakie but Maddie is awake so I hate to think how much is left.... maybe she could loosen the ropes so you could reach... probably after she has checked it all out......

Hint of bagging up on one mare and slight hint of is that or isn't it on the other so you will have to get on either the skewbald or piebald depending on who looks like they might first....... xx

Chris oh the 3 hourly shifts... I not sure I get on with them really cus the more I rest the more the bones hurt.

Hope you will have/ did have a decent day at work ad i must stop yawning long enough to get this car loaded and go see how much wind there really is..... the guy who runs it was telling me there was non about the time a couple of dress rails went flying..... he isn't always truthful you know..... Tea and a some cdm? xx

Joan No sigh of a foal appearing yet but one is going to next month if not both mares.... I am dreading it so not too unhappy they are neither really ready yet. One is going to be a big foal and I don't want them foaling drip week for sure... be hard enough for the 10 days after so if they could wait till I feel less dead it might be easier..... Hope you and Sue are both keeping ok? xx

DD More of the trance mix stuff on the mp3 thing. Mind its not as good as the seconds disco euphoria.....

Sticky has to stay there till the foal(s) have arrived.... though till the electric fence is up and mended she also has to keep the demolition squad off it as well.......

I must go get sorted and do some work... can't be the dormouse for at least 5 hours...... Hope you have a good day xx

Barbara Chicken are in for the morning... its too quiet with us all away and the foxes might come to see them..... besides its the only way i am going to find out how many eggs they are actually laying as with the black and white lesser spotted and brown unspotted lesser egg eating canines I seem to have got I have no idea ....... Hope you and your oh have a good day xx

Bungee ropes? BUNGEE ROPES?? Skezier, what have you been keeping from us? Is this your secret hobby? When you tell us you're finally grabbing a couple of hours' sleep in the chair, are you really out there whizzing up & down with energy levels that would make Slurps feel shattered? You must stop it right now or I'll be down from this roof instantly. (Getting up again may take considerably longer.)

PS Hope the sale goes well.

Hope you are ok? and that the sale was good? and you didn't get blown away by this awful wind  we had a tree blown down this morning, so my boys are happily chopping the tree up, atleast I've plenty of firewood now

Hello chris, hope the day went well and you now having ten mins with the feet up and a cuppa
Shed almost done - how about an extra large cat-flap style door :lol:
Tis a fine piece of work you have done, shame to call it a shed, how about a nice name for it - on a plaque above the door; you could start a competition on here " I Name this Abode
    "

Slurpy can rest easy, I got all the eggs in, put a couple by for him - well don't want him having withdrawal probs.:lol:

You be looking forward to getting Thursdays project done - will have to take it easy mind - let it get settled in and a bit of healing before you start hauling things about and giving brea a new hairdo

Me and me bones are on speaking terms - can't say on here the kind of language we are using though

Have a good night and go easy - Hugs all round

Afternoon my lovely, I hope all is well. Mr DD and me have been out and about, hence the lateness of my visit. I hope the Ark are behaving, that the sale went well and that the unscheduled armchairing is not too frequent. I send you a spare cope and one fluffy pink bucket of comfort. DD

Hi Sticky, Joan, Poppy, Fudge and DD

I am totally shattered and I don't think there are many bits that don't hurt now...

I had this crazy idea after the sale I would sort out the sheeps fence.... what am I stupid... hey don't answer that cus i got side traced and sheared Her ladyships back end..... oh her claggy bits worried me as it seems a bad year for fly strike.... none of mine have ever actually had that and I would like to keep it that way......

While I an Wish had a bit of a fight... Breagh went into overdrive and kept shooting round the shed like some demented thing...

Oh for some of her energy......

I mean just a fraction.. she wastes so much and seems to want to live in the fast lane....Wish just watched her and continued to jam her bum into the nearest wall..... and then she laid down.... that was easier and she is all done......but..... so am I.... Shattered beyond shattered and hurting every which way... thats with full dose of pregabs, trams and diclo's....

Tis mtx night as well... hey I seem to be bruising the stomach quite a lot.. guess thats normal

Oh 25mtx and the drip soon... thats going to wipe me out.... Cant wait.....

Mind I so need it ... either the oa in the hips and knees r the pa and oa in the back... or lack of circulation is making walking slew and painful..... Really not very free moving....

if I ever get hold of the concrete fairy who keeps sticking tons of it in m legs and arms... well lets just say the squashed fairy book will be nothing in comparison :lol:

Sticky I nearly dd do one once but bottled it... you remember when they used to have a craine outside a pub and ..... well I got as far as the platform and then bottled... I had had the back surgery by them and well maybe for once I was being sensible.....

Could have brought the disc to heel though  I will never know.....

you can bungee all you like off the shed but once your a foal alarm... well they might bungee about a bit but believe me you will be well strapped on....... Leaving you cuppa that has bypassed slur....ops no it hasn't but its apparently passed quality control  xx

Joan you up fora bit of chicken shed cleaning..... I have had tore-do the internal lay out as Owns keeps trying to get their corn..... it wont do her any good and its not so good for them....

Its a half door (the top is internally wired and externally a real door, so its had to go back out of Owns reach....

Hope You and Sue have had a good week end? I pushed my luck too far and know the armchair is waiting to claim me.... xx

Poppy You got a to of wood then?! You think your lads cu=ould saw up my door wood for me please? The could take a chopper to the hawthorns if they would like to as well

Hope young Sam is ok and so hope your feeling a ton better? Wish and the deer have made you a cake...... sorry its got sheep nuts in it but they don't taste to bad covered in butter icing  Wish seriously loves butter icing..... xx

Fudge  Slurps said thank you for the eggs.... really loves her eggs but where I got her from the had 100's of chickens and often spare eggs... I think I know who ate them when they were spare.... now the hen house isn't dog proof... it might have become that though... and horse proff

Could you get this tea up to the roof dweller please and here a handful of nails to reinforce the 'weak' bits on the shed....

Your right... its not really a shed is it..... Wish said she likes the idea f a plack.... with her full name f course

We could have a naming ceremony.... any ideas? Berty had a few but .... its not exactly what you think of as the word 'shed' is it? You wait till we get the door and floor sorted and the lining then... the sheep will be in it  xx

DD there is no such thing as late here flower and I hope you and Mr DD enjoyed your selves? Hey I managed to scat in 3 posts.... the pounder then defeated me and I side tracked to salon duties... you want a quick trim there?

Is that bucket still working cus I have got a new one if needed? xx

Right I promise to be less shattered and more coherent later..... my fingers don't cross so well... does visualization count :lol:

ris, have you been at the sheep nuts again. a sale, 3 posts and a bum shearing. No wonder you hurting all over i see that i am going to get a water pistol for Maddie and Sticky so when you are misbehaving they can fire water at you to make you stop.

Perhaps an inforced rest will do you good.

Maddie says can you put a little milk on the side with Sticky's cup of team slurp can test it first she isn't fussy, and if there is a slice of sheep cake left she would love to lick the icing off. She says throw up the nails and she will hold them inplace as she knows how much Sticky like to use the hammer. She will also make sure Sticky gets her morning wash (ooh more licks lovely.

I hope you are not suffering too much this morning..

I get lots of brusies from the mTX injections the nurse said i am just catching a capillery well i must have loads of them...sometimes my tummy looks like a patchwork quilt well a big patchwork quilt

Love and extra shortbread Tracey kissess as usual from Maddie.

' . . . . .then I sidetracked to salon duties . . . ' Oh woman you make oi larf! Actually I do need a trim: I had my hair cut two days before we went to Brighton and I kid you not it has already lost its shape. Is that the meds making it grow so fast? Or the sun? Or both?

Anyhoo, I hope you had a reasonable night - are you ever going to learn to pace yourself in any way, shape or form? No? Then get sticky off that roof and she can help out in her own in imitable way. Simples. DD

    Hi Cris,
Nice of you to entertain Bre with the rump shearing of her shed mate! Well done though as I know last year was a nightmare for you.
I hope you managed to get some sleep last night and this morning found you a bit less plank like.
Fingers crossed the next foal gives you a chance to recover from the dreaded but urgently needed drip. Mind you that would mean you have Sticky and Maddie hanging around for a lot longer. May be it would be best if you got a tea urn plugged in for the foreseeable.

Hi Tracey, DD, Julie, Sticky, Joan, Berty and all,

Have any of you got a cure for this fatigue shift? I just feeling so shattered and drained... I do need the drip I guess. Its so horrible but its getting to the point that my stupid shell is relying on it..... maybe a bit too much.....

The bones are in revolt but so am I and odds on they might win... but only cus they got the fatigue n their side

It got me on the a30 again and I actually had to pull in and get out to wake my self up... thats not good in daylight and some of it could be the mtx, mind I find that normally hits like a truck 2 days after... so that will be tomorrow then... can't wait  maybe I will swallow an alarm clock.... bit like the old woman though I would never try and swallow any of that lot cus I don't eat meat (as if thats the only reason i wouldn't  )

I have to apologize again for pm's and not being too quick on answering them but I will improve as soon as I have got rid of some of the pain and tiredness... thats probably not going to happen till a few days after the drip...... I kinda hoping the real tiredness is fro lack of oxygen not the bone shift cus the drip will cure the lack of o2 and the bone stuff will never let up.....

Tracey They will fight Maddie for the icing... well Wish will.... Hey you know we complain about dog metacam's price? Try the sheep one... its almost 100 quid! I going to get a prescription and get her next lot on line for a lot less..... thats a good mark up they have for that one for sure.

Leaving Maddie a shew stick and a bowl to throw over Sticky  Bless her she is good to keep sticky clean  Slurps tries as well but she seems to be a bit keen on the head and face front for sure..... insecure dogs eh!

Leaving you both some custard creams and a (((( )))) xx

DD short back and sides it is then... I know the shears look rusty but they been sharped and do work.... I can layer it as well if you like?! Hey go the hole way and have the mohican I seem so good at doing..... Some (((( )))) and a cuppa xx

Julie Bit of lamb rustling... I would love one.. thats the plan actually to get the girls home and come the ed of the year get a lamb..... I know there are practicalities in that one but I think I can cope with it all..... I think...... will really have to think about it as I would never want to if I thought I would let one down.... (((( )))) and a coffee xx

Sticky Your abut 3 weeks f foal alarm duties... this one looks big and well I am actually worried after Flower cus she wasn't near this size..... We will make sure we are there for sure even if I have to go beyond the zombie... but with the fatigue it might be hard... she isn't due till mid June so....

You have eggs on toast and a cuppa safe cus Slurps has had a hard day and then I had to tell her off so she is having a sulk and not up for stealing food just now. (((( )))) xx

Joan/b] Thanks for your help with the chicken house... now...what you like at digging out sheep sheds?:lol: (((( )))) xx

Berty well Shaun got away with it  (thats Shaun the Sheep for them not into kids programs..... ) Actually some of the punk haircuts they had do look like they were styled on the shearing I do..... (((( )))) xx

I It was kind of Wish to provide the entertainment eh?! I dread flystrike and having never had it I kinda proud if that as well, I really do try to keep it that way as well.

The next foal will be after if the mare does it properly... there is a hint of bagging up but only a hint and that would be 3 weeksish sop time to have the drip, recover and be awake

    Hey i can't wait

Glad to see the mtx isn't causing you trouble and hope they will take you down again as soon as they find its helping...

Mine will go back to 20 in June I think... thats it then they wont be trying anything else... i do still kick at that you know....

Leaving you a bullock with horns, a special 2 legged guest  and a (((( )))) as well as a hope things are k with you? xx

Right tea all round and a wake up draft I an testing out.......

    Hi Lynn,

Oh have yet to do that one.. I got more fat than you as like as not.... do you know it wont shift but my diet has become so unhealthy trying t balance the crohn's and the barretts is a problem :lol:

I is crackered maid and I have put the blanket n and will go fight for space with slurps and the cats and get the cramp and payback I know is coming... said it before but I hate this bone stuff!!!

You have a good night and hope the blood soon stopped. Oh Lynn I got discolouration from the mtx jabs.... not sure if its normal but d remember reading something about it there a while back so think its kinda normal.....
Sleep well ((((( ))))) and a bit of cdm... hey I got a surprise as well.. i got a brand new pair of hunters for my birthday  haven't quite kicked the old ones out as yet so got a posh pair at last :lol: Love with a cuppa and the dogs sniffing you a lullaby..... ain't you lucky  xx

Morning cris hope you are not too stiff this morning.
Maddie says she doesn't need a bucket for Sticky she can do a good lick all over for her adn she particularly likes the face so with slurp's help they will keep her well adn truely licked. ooh and she wanted tell sticky that the toast was good and she only licked the butter off.

Maddie snuck out while you were skleeping this morning and she says that you really need to get a nice long sleep she will be back tonight though to help you round up the chickens and keep the dogs in order.

Cris with all the driving you do as well as the fencing, sheep shearing, shed building and everything else it is no wonder you are tired... perhaps having the drip will give you a forced rest you should be very proud of all the work you do and all the animals you help.

Sending you a hug(()) and a very buttery kiss from Maddie.

    Love Tracey and maddie

    Hi Val,

You were up earl there flowwer, I hope your ok?

You know between us we had 8 hours kip  Lack of sleep isn't a good one is it? Leaving you a (((( )))) and a hope you are okish? xx

    Hi Tracey,

Maddie never woke me though at that point in time I thing a 32 piece marching band coming into the bedroom wouldn't have woken me

Was it Maddie who encouraged Slurps to jump up o the bed, landing on me, and lick my ears then? Could I ask her to teach her not to do it till I am awake please  not the best way to wake up..... not as bad a sheep landing on you but far from it  less smelly......

Everything I do is at snails pace and slower..... I suppose it would still make me tired though? I get so cross that I am no longer able to work properly.. there are things that need doing and I sit here and can't get them done.....

Its taken weeks to and the shed still hasn't gt a door or window frames or a lining.... or a floor come to that but the floor i do intend to do today.....I will try anyway.......

The fencing, 3 poles in as many hours though there was salon duties in between but that was a real had to be done cus I don't want my girl getting fly strike! I am proud of the fact none of mine have ever had it.

Be even prouder when they are sheared... Toni is coming down this week end... I am thinking we could have a shearing lesson...... I don't know if she will see this but maybe just maybe eh?

I can't get the professionally done till the end of August and thats too late.... Wish especially mustn't sweat too much..... it causes pneumonia.

    Sorry drifted off there....

Hope you had a decent night and leaving you a ((((( ))))) xx

Oh Miss L Legs is back.. she has a wood cutter and is in her boiler suit with ear defenders so she must be going to make a door. I better help her... you know what she is like....

I dd see the case she brought with has her very bet matron costume in it for next week He tells me....

You know I might need the drip, and I know how much cus I do feel dead, but I hate it so much..... may have said that

I know you hate the drip but - and here's the sting in the tail - it helps. It helps a deal, yes? I know it's tough, I for one have no idea how you find or fill the reserves of physical and emotional stamina to do what you do, but the drip plays its part in that. We'll be there, every step of the way.

Did I read that right? You gonna see frog? I am so pleased, envious too, but mostly pleased. Don't shear frog though. For god's sake go to specsavers before she arrives. She would look all wrong without that lovely mane. I am thinking of you and please ensure that sticky is fed and watered. DD

OK, if I'm allowed down briefly, I can lend a hand with that floor. I've heard of having no roof over your head but I'm here with a roof under my head and no floor. Let's get hammering.

    Hi DD,

Yep she is coming down and will be with me for the first day of the drip... now that will make a really nice change though if I throw up as I tend to do she might regret it

I do need it my o2 level in the blood is low and i think it must be in the tissues as well..... its a bad one this circulation thing and hopefully if nothing else the eyes will be better with the drip...... kinda need then to be and your would be some kind to not say I know  xx

Sticky I am so sorry I missed your post there....

Course you can come down for a bit and the wind is dropping slightly so the steps should stay in place.....

I wont give up my way of life flower cus I can't do what would need doing but I am so slow and this lot do kinda get looked after just it takes me a whole day to what used to take a couple of hours.

I have to do something oddly as well... been known to go to the chicken house basically crawling and falling over... I can never get up so have to slither if its really bad to the first thing safe to use as as a pull-up... wonder sometimes what would the lodgers do cus they find it fascinating their auntie is wriggling about like a worm

Usually poor Slipper Boy is on hand and he doesn't mind me using him though he has put in a formal request i lose weight

Right you got to get me out this chair and make me satay awake please...

Sorry I missed you but a dog free cuppa to make up for it. ((((( ))))) and so sorry. xx
