Thanks everyone for your support and 'welcome home' messages
Have slept most of the day  quick question? never been on oral steroids before, do they keep you up at night? Im on 40mg a day, thought I'd sleep straight through, but just couldn't 'shut off', even though I'm on 100mg tramadol 4x a day.
Think the stress and strain and scare of it all is coming out too, been a useless, weepy, feeling sorry for myself idiot today  guess tiredness doesn't help though, my poor family, I'm tired of trying to put a brave face on today
This is NOT like me, I'm sure I'll snap out of it once I've sorted out my sleeping pattern.
So sorry to moan, it's the last thing you lovely people need to read.
Off to have a cuppa some biccies and sort myself out
    Hugs to all xxx

    Hi Toni,
Going back to see Rheumy team Monday at 9am. As far as I know I'm off metho, Sulfa and Humira as the lining of the left lung is damaged and they need to leave it for atleast 6 weeks to heal. Not sure if I'll be on the steroids for that length of time? I have to say though, whether it's the oxygen, steroids, or morphine, it's eased the pain considerably. I'd have taken ANYTHING the pain was that bad, I honestly had trouble breathing.
Compared to that, a bad sleeping pattern doesn't seem to bad  I shouldn't whinge.
Thanks for your lovely messages Toni, really appreciate it xxx

    Hi everyone,
I wondered if anyone would be free to hop in my pocket tomorrow morning? I'm back in hospital for more tests and to see the full rheumatology team. I'm hoping and praying they don't keep me in but it is a possibility.
I'm still breathy/pain when breathing and doped up with morphine and 40mg steroids.
    I don't know what they'll suggest next.
I'm very worried, extremely embarrassingly weepy tonight (not helping my breathing I know) and would be very grateful for your help and support pocketwise.
Thankyou to everyone who has sent msg's here and pm's etc, I'm very very touched.
    Hugs to all xxx

    Hi all,
Oxygen sats level still low, and pain still causing shortness of breath, so going back in to hospital this afternoon. Bit down, but there you go. Off everything bar 40mg steroids and morphine for 4 weeks, will review then to see if can re introduce the metho successfully.
Thanks for being there for me, I'm very grateful xxx

We're still with you Poppyg1rl & will be all the way.

This must have come as a disappointment but the main thing is to get it sorted whatever it takes.

    Hang on in there.

Oh bloody hell, I go away for a few days and what do you go and do? Poppy, Poppy, Poppy - 40mg of steroids is a high dose so no wonder you are climbing the walls: I hope they can reduce those asap as they are insidious little critters and cause all sortsa trouble. I know exactly what the not-being-able-to-breathe thing was like, the asthma nearly finished me off on three occasions when younger, I remember the ability to breathe out for ever but not breathe in, it is terrifying and scary and you are definitely in the right place for them to deal with it.

Please get better. You are spoiling my holiday and I won't have that. (before you all jump up and down and get indignant with me Poppy knows me pretty well and DOES get my sense of humour!) Seriously hon, get better. I wish you well. DD
