It will be OK, I am sure of that. I remember now that when I have them I have to do two sets of tests, one pre-inhalers (I was not allowed any that day until the time of the test) and then a set post-inhalers, the differences were interesting. Inhaled steroids - gotta love those babies! Let us know how you get on, please, though I doubt they will tell you anyting there and then. DD

Hi DD, Tilly, Cris and all,
Tests went so so, lovely chap that did the tests did my last one before starting Humira in Feb, wow  what a difference... He asked me to do some tests, basically deep breaths in and out and holding my breath, none of which I could very well because of the rib pain. He asked me if I could wait for 10 mins after the tests were done so that he could type up my report for me to take down to rheumatology immediately. I duly did, and had a quick chat with my Rheumy nurse, who thinks I'm being a little optimistic about my knee swelling going down and also left elbow starting to enlarge so Tuesday's aspiration looks like it's going ahead
All done now anyway, had a bad night so going to lie down for a bit and rest.
Thanks for being there yet again for me my friends, really very grateful.
Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this soon, and I can get back on the metho and Humira and start to get better  love and hugs to all xxx

So, you had a nice chap doing the tests, you got the results straight away so no delay getting them to rheumatology and the aspiration will, hopefully, help. That's all good.

However, my guess is you're still feeling pretty damn rubbishy - lack of sleep, rib pain & still no MTX or humira.

I applaud your bravery and cheerfulness, Poppy, but we're still here for you however long the haul. It will be sorted eventually. Keep going but don't ask too much of yourself.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
