    hi folks.
I'll say it again.... THANK YOU
The funeral went well, lots of people there, family and friends etc..
I managed to carry Dad into the church with my three brothers and two cousins. I almost collapsed once or twice as my knees were giving way but I wouldn't let them let me down.. We let the funeral directors carry Dad back out but we lowered Dad into the grave. I had my man-mountain Godson stood behind me helping me lower Dad in, I think I would have fallen in if he hadn't have been there.
There were do many flowers, all in Leeds United colours apart from one.. A point of F0sters... Dad's favorite.
We went back to the club where we all used to go back in the good old days, so many people turned up that we haven't seen for years.. I thank my GP for the steroids, I would not have done what I did without them.. We were the last ones out! Mind you, I must have drank around ten cans of energy drinks as I was exhausted..
We managed to raise nearly £200 for the guide dogs for the blind. A charity close to all of us as that is the charity we always raised money for when we used yup be members of the club. Over the years back then we bought five dogs.

I've been stuck in bed since getting home, everything feels broken, knees, back, elbows, hands, fingers and shoulders... As well as mi heart..
I've just been trying to sleep as much as I can. We have to go back to Skeggy tomorrow, Mum has things she needs to do there.

Sorry if I've wittered on a bit..

You lot will never know how much your support has helped.. And continues to do so.
I thank you all yet again and hope that you have assumed me present for any and all pocket duties.
    Xx

I'm glad it went as well as possible, Tony. Well done to everyone for raising £200 for the Guide Dogs. I hope you can start to take things a bit easier now. ((()))

    thanks luv.
I'll make sure that I rest as much as I can over the weekend hun.
Not much choice right now
I ain't complaining at the pain I'm in though..

The exhaustion is ridiculous, I cannot wake up properly. Got a horrid headache but that's probably from all the energy drinks, it's like a hangover.. Without the booze :o

I hope that you are doing ok Barbara..

Hi Karen hun, thank you.. I'll be back with you all at some point, I promise.. I could not abandon such lovely folks... :D

Tony, you are a star and what a magic tribute to your dad...it's a dad who teaches you to be so brave, brave enough to push yourself beyond anything you think or know you can do at those moments when you really need to do something like carry him.

Rest now, it's time you got some proper rest.

Love, hugs n spoons, LV xx

oh bless you hun, I know what a difficult time this is. It is difficult to rest as well, with things to do and sort out, but do try. Leaving a trolley full of steroids etc and an abundance of hugs. Take lots of care, all of you. XXX Bubbles

Mig, LV, ND, Colin and Matron... Thank you.

I had little sleep last night, pain and bad dreams both playing a part..
Will be getting up soon anyway, driving to Skeggy early to beat the traffic. I'll go to bed when we get there, should be able to get some more sleep then.

Tuesday was indeed very difficult for all but I admit, worse for me than any physically.

Catch you all later on folks

It's fairly warm here now but was rather chilly this morning when we arrived.. Brrr.

We have some friends staying in. skeggy from tomorrow morning, I dunno how much fun I'll be able to join in with but I'll try. Think it will do us good..

Been going through some old photos today at Mum's.. Had a good few laughs..
