I remembered you were going back today - I won't nag, mate, but I am very concerned about you. Don't drain yourself too soon or too quickly, there is still much to be done and organised. [[[]]] DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

What else can I say but thank you?
This is a wonderful thread.. I keep reading through it again and again..
We are now back in skegness.. Came back over yesterday. There is so much to sort out. Most of which cannot be sorted out until we get the death certificate..
It us ridiculous how much they want to charge to bury him. The cemetery in Leeds wanted to charge double for the plot and the internment because he wasn't living in Leeds.. He had spent almost sixty years there.. His mother and step father, also brother are all buried there.. We had to compile a letter to them explaining all this so that they would not charge the double fee.
I've spent the day in bed today, and had a rest. I think the last month has been auto pilot led..
The joints are totally flaring.. As expected..
I hope that you are all as well as can be...
And the hugs are gratefully receivedMe-Tony

I think this is standard practice, Tony. We had it from Blackpool when Mr SW's Mum died over here, despite the fact that she had lived there for years and would be going in the same grave as her husband and it was all bought and paid for.
The rule is, one charge for local ratepayers and another for anyone else. I guess it makes a kind of sense as the ongoing upkeep will be paid for by local ratepayers.
I'm glad you're resting. Long may it continue. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi tony the rest is essential as grief affects us mentally as well as physical you have had so much to do and with all the driving you have had to do this would wear anyone down but with an adding of RA as you know it will floor you! Just make sure that you have a rest when you can, sending you and yours much love and sympathy from a small NE corner in Scotland xxxxxxxxx0
