This makes all my own problems sink into insignificance. :? A beautiful young girl like Lucy SHOULD NOT have to go through all this. All we can do is give you our love and support. Needless to say we do, in bucket loads.

    Oh gosh!

Thank you all so much. Says a lot for this forum with you all having painful arthritic joints that you all care so much for Lucy

    I have news.

The secretary to the Dr, who Dr Tim referred Lucy, rang me. Apparently the Dr has passed the referral on to another Dr who does hip replacements ( ).

He is on leave this week, but his list is only about 6 weeks long.

I will ring back a week today to see where things are at. I decided not to muddy the waters too much by mentioning the shoulder :?

    Thank you all so much

    Love and ((()))

    Hi Toni

I have been reading and following. I don't always know what to say. I am in total admiration of both you and Lucy. I have always believed that those who have the most to complain about usually complain the least. You have proved me right.

    Sending much love.

    Aw thank you Sophie :)

To be honest this latest stuff has been a blow, but at least the cancer is going away nicely!

Mig I hope 6 weeks will fly by - I bet it will with the house-move on the cards and all the work that involves

    Love

I think my version would be that it says a lot about you and Lucy that we all care so much for you despite our own niggles.

    I hope all goes well.

The 6 weeks shouldn't seem too long, as you say, with the house move. We're all here right behind you, all the way. xx

Barbara and Lucy side by side on the ward. That would be brilliant. I'd get Emily to sneak some of her grub in for them both. :D

    Lots of love xxx

That would be great imagine that :) I wouldn't be worrying about her then would I?

Lucy can't have any surgery just yet though she's got to finish her chemo first ya boo! :(

Kath - the food is a great idea though - not a lot worse than hospital food is there

Thanks you all - Lucy is doing fine - back to the salon in the morning :)

Hello - sorry to have been AWOL

Well I rang and rang and rang the secretary to the ortho consultant yesterday and still didn't get through

I will try again on Monday when I can as it's chemo, which often takes up most of the day :?

Lucy has had a good week back at the Academy and is going to have a pyjama-day/duvet with Charley this afternoon :)

I hope everyone is well and not as cold as me!

    It's FFFFFffreeezing!!

    Love

That's terrible getting no reply. Hopefully, you will get through on Monday. Good to hear that Lucy had a good week though. Hope she enjoyed her duvet day and you didn't get too cold. xx
