    Mmmm....where are we going. The Canaries I think. Lucy's annual insurance covers there and Europe that's all.

    Yes we finally have the date and it's in the Easter hols so no time off needed for Lucy :)

    Her sister Charley is 21 today :)

    Lucy went out last night (early-ish) and had a fall. She thinks she can walk fast without a crutch, but she can't. Had to plaster her up before bed :roll:

    No real damage I hope.

    Roll on the 1st.

    The lad I mentioned before? His Mum let me know he has days now :(

    I hate this disease.

    Firstly, good news on the appointment, Charlie's birthday and the impending holiday, all positives, yes?

    Secondly, I am so sorry that Lucy has had a tumble, these things will happen and hopefully she isn't too roughed up!

    Thirdly, I am thinking of the lad and his mum. :( To know that the end is nigh must be truly appalling, maybe more so for her than him. You are not alone in hating the disease, Toni, far from it. DD

    Oh bless suppose Lucy is so young and a fighter, she is not letting it get the best of her..hope she is ok...
    And the poor young man..this is when I say life just isn't fair..I will say a little prayer for him and his family...xx

    Poor Lucy. Can't blame her for thinking she can do more than she can. Hope she doesn't feel the worst for it in the morning. So so sorry to hear about Lucy's friend. I hope he and his family can stay strong. Hope you and Lucy can cope well the news. (((hugs))) xxx

    Lucy looks a little battered, but is improving thanks and I understand her wanting to be out there the same as her friends. Luckily it's Monday and the salon is closed so she can rest today.

    I haven't heard from Lucy's friend's Mum today I will brave a text later. He has been very brave and suffered so much they look after them so well there it will be very very peaceful I know.

    Its good that Lucy can rest today..I will be thinking about you Toni, you must be dreading a text off the boys parents, but how lovely that they look after them..it is a comfort xx

    Hope Lucy feels a bit better by tomorrow. I know Lucy's friend will be made as comfortable as possible and they'll be looking after his parents too. (((hugs)))

    I can't tell you how wonderful they are. There is no pain, just gentle care and kindness. A feeling of safety.

    Anyway on a positive note Lucy is on the mend and last night we looked at a bungalow - 2nd viewing today and Lucy will be coming too :)

    Mr DD and me have just returned from a meal out. He asked after Lucy and asked me to pass on his best wishes. :shock: Your girl has an effect wherever she goes!

    I hope the second viewing was encouraging; I have been thinking of the young lad and his family. Cruel is not the word. :( DD
