Thanks Joan So far we are having a good week. We've been to the aquatics place to look at the fish - we are hoping to add a Japanese fighting fish to the tank later on this week

I have seen the Japanese fighting fish they are a stunning colour..the poor lady that doesn't speak much English..she must feel so isolated...but yet she knows you care..so that will help her

Hope Tuesday went well for charley & all things are going ok.

Thinking of you & best for the weekend. I can't remember previous mention of fish so I am going for a quick read back. Never kept any but always like going to look round centres; something about the dark & the atmosphere. Sealife is so.. inscrutable. Intriguing. You did well with the rowing machine! Ooh, good e*aying there. Hope the pickup was straightforward.

Thank you so much for all your good wishes for Charley's interview, (went well although subsequent events have NOT - see café if you have time :? ), on Tuesday.

We haven't added to the tank due to the sad death of Boris one of our two common plecs

Who decided to jump ship on Tuesday night and sadly died despite my best efforts.

We will wait a while for the tank to settle

Poor old Lucy has a COLD!!! The consequence of which is that Dr Tim decided to delay her Intrathecal. Fair enough I suppose safety first.

Some good news???

Lucy is going to parliament on 25th as part of a focus group representing the Teenage Cancer Trust

She has already bought her dress for the event and we were only told yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am hoping I get to go with her

Morning Toni. Poor Boris. Wonder why they do that. I remember one of my daughter's doing that many years ago. My son's eel did the same. We found him under a chair at the other side of the lounge-dining room.

Oh my lovely, surely it's time that life stopped throwing its dross your way, yes? Poor Charley, how horrid for her and I hope she is feeling better. I know that fish can fling themselves from tanks (is it due to their inner salmon? ) but why they do is, to me, still a mystery. I hope he had a gentle internment.

Poor Lucy, a cold is not required but these things happen, yes? What splendid news though, she is off to the seat of government representing a group of people who have had to rapidly mature: she is the perfect girl to represent her peers.

Hello Toni...how exciting for Lucy...wow bet she will be going shopping for a new outfit..will you be going with her...I hope so..so glad she is doing well..your poor fish I have heard of this before with catfish..they do like to jump..the one we had many years ago use to try and escape when we fed him...hope that cold leaves Lucy alone very soon...(((())))xx

Parliament :shock: wow. . How exciting hun.. That's brilliant. I really hope that she has a great time there. You'll have to let us know how she goes on.
As for the plekky. . We used to have 6 tanks! lol
They were hard work I can tell ya. Had 3 plekkys I think. Fun to watch.

Hope all is ok and the cold goes sharpish!
