How cool for Lucy going to parliament ,what sort of dress have she got ? Mig0
-
Thanks Mig, Marie, Joan, DD, Elizabeth, Tony and Barbara
No more misshaps
Remaining plec, (catfish) Bruce is fine. I have made some flaps where there are gaps in the lid, (for wires for heater, lights etc) out of plastic garden mesh. They are adorable aren't they Tony and Barbara? Must have been stressful feeding yours Barbara
Lucy's dress is knee length 'tartan' effect pattern in black and cream on tunic bit sleeves are long and black and there is a wee collar also black.
Hope that made sense??? :?
Anyone know whether there are tights we can buy which will cover bruises on knees?? BAD ONES????
Charley is recovering from the accident and already franticly trying to get the money together for a new (old) car.
Lucy's cold is going....she is dancing to dance games on the Wii every evening ATM (hence the bruises
I hope you are all well and enjoying some lovely sun like us lot
Love

I think any heavier denier would do, or failing that makeup over the bruises? I am pleased to hear she is loving her dancing - what a lovely way to regain some fitness and stamina. As for the tank-blockade, well done and I hope it does the trick. :loverain: DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Glad Bruce is doing well and you've managed to contain him. Fantastic to hear Lucy is dancing and her cold is going. Her dress sounds lovely. Hope you find some tights that will do. Would black work or would that mean too much black? it sounds as if Charley is recovering well. Hope she gets her new car soon. xxChristine0

Hello again I'm sorry I've been away (Well, no I'm not ) and clearly missed many happenings in the frog household. I shall now endeavour to catch up and, meanwhile, send my love to all. xxxIf at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I'm picturing the dress as my Eldest Daughter had one similar by the sound of things! It was one of my faves. Would Lucy wear thick tights with it, help to keep her warm as well as cover the bruises?
I'd love to visit the Houses of Parliament, to admire the architecture and setting.
I hope Charley is able to find a decent car to replace her previous one and she is fully recovered.
all the best

I will post properly tomorrow but I am a wee bit anxious. ....Lucy is going to a party any minute now
I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow
Fingers crossed xxx0 -
((())) Poor you! Normal teenage life is resumed and that has its own pitfalls even without all Lucy has been through. I shall be thinking of both of you.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

We survived unscathed!!!
PHEW!!!
Not so all the others though from what I hear....some fighting some inebriation and some 'snogging'
The lass who's party it was lives with her Grandmother so it wasn't very well supervised.
Luckily for me Lucy did a lot of looking after and apart from trying some peach schnapps (didn't like it?? I'm sure I do ) was totally sober
and even better Charley turned up to make sure she was ok and stayed the night I wasn't expecting that :balloon:
Now back to this week.....
I have received information from the TCT about Westminster (that's what you call it you know, when you're in the know ).
They have sent us tickets for the train and are paying for the cab across town from Euston. We leave here at lunchtime on Wednesday.
We are to meet the shadow Health Secretary, Andy Burnham, who is holding a reception. People will be told we are there and will then come to talk to us Lucy's friend Fiona will also be there with her mad-Aunty who cut Lucy's hair for her when it started to fall out.
Elizabeth I doubt whether I can get any photos of the inside of the building, but if I can I will for you
Charley has her 'new' car and Barbara the interview had been on the day of the car-jacking :?
Love and thanks to you all

So glad Lucy enjoyed the party. Well done to her for looking after the others. How lovely to have Charley to show up. Ooo-oo, so you're in the know now? Won't want to talk to us now. :jheart: Sounds as if it's going to be a wonderful day. I feel excited for you and Lucy. And Charley has her new car. Bet she's glad to be able to get out and about again. xxChristine0
