Thank you Christine, Barbara, Hileena and Joan (I am glad Joan that you have never had a migraine they are horrible I am usually sick and can't see for a while properly )
Lucy's extensions are out and her hair is glossy.
She is going to have them back in when we get back from our hols so altogether I am hoping they will be off for near 8 weeks (at least 7!)
She is back wearing wigs ATM as she lacks confidence to go out with short hair bless her.
I get it though - no other child has short hair do they
Love to you all

I bet Lucy looks beautiful without her extensions but it can't be easy for her. Her hair should grow a fair bit over the next weeks. Hope your migraine has gone Toni. xxChristine0

That's is exactly Joan She wants to be like the others, Cancer has taken so much, but Christine she really does look cute in my opinion
This lunchtime I was treated to a veggie fry up courtesy of Lucy!! Beans fried eggs, veggie bacon and fried bread
Felt very proud of her.
This afternoon she did some sunbathing with factor 50 lotion on

Hi
Glad things are going well and the holiday is coming up.
Dont you overdo things by rushing around packing and getting everything done.
I know I'm talking to myself.....I can just see you reading this and thinking...take your own advice Hileena
I remember you sending me a pm one time saying that
Take care and love to Lucy and everyone else

Sorry I have been AWOL everyone, but I been packing and cleaning nd packing and cleaning etc etc.
Also practising my French as I go so keep getting caught by people like window-cleaner and postie
Lucy is looking great she has a lovely new trendy long wavy grey wig. Hope that makes sense - it's the white blonde/grey that the young-uns have made fashionable ATM
Thanks Joan, (hope your ankle is ok??) Christine (oh yes packing well and truly underway!) Hileena (Many times I have had to tell you to pace yourself!!!) and Marie (don't worry things are going so well that all news is good news now )
Toady we are watching BB but we all hate Helen!!!
Love to you all

It's great to hear things are going so well. I think Lucy must look beautiful in her new wig as she does anyway. I've been wondering if I should stop colouring my hair. I'd be bang up to date too. So you've been practising your French on the window cleaner and postman?Christine0

Sounds like you are well organised but try and slow down a bit keep some of that energy for the holiday. I am sure Lucy will be gorgeous in her new wig. Hope you have a great holiday. xxSmile a while and while you smile

Aw thanks everyone
Joan I forgot to say we love those quorn parsley and herb sausages Today has been a good one I managed a bit of shopping for our hols food and Lucy booked her nails in for Monday
We are driving there Barbara, (Paul is), and he is staying for a week-10 days then driving back, (hiring a car for us), then Charley is flying over then Paul flies back and I think we all fly home together!!
PHEW!!!
Marie I expect to use very little energy on holiday I have approximately 20 books to read some on my kindle and some 'manual'
I will lie-n and then lie by the pool
Promise you and Hileena I am behaving, (reasonably) well :? Can't have you wearing out your fingers giving advice
Christine she looks lovely I thought exactly the same about my hair. It's suddenly got a lot of grey in it Hairdresser thinks it's stress, but I know hyrdoxy does that too and well, I'm not getting any younger
I will post lots of photos when I get back or there if the wifi behaves
Love to you all

I hope everyone goes in the right direction and by the correct mode of transport. Looking forward to the pics. xxChristine0

Today we are getting ready to go to the memorial do for one of Lucy's chemo-crew, (4 girls with leukaemia), who died a year ago.
Hopefully it will be reasonably upbeat as it's Grease-themed
May have more photos soon .
In aid of Cure Leukaemia.

I want to say 'Enjoy your day'. I think you might. But there will be many 'buts'. ((()))If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
Steven Wright0 -
I'm sure there will be mixed emotions but mostly enjoyment as you celebrate the young girl's life. They are all so brave, aren't they? xxChristine0
-
Many buts ,yes Stickywicket, I bawled a lot to see 3 other Mums like me who aren't as lucky. How disgusting is it that this evil thing happens
One in particular we haven't seen since Lucy went to Pagan's funeral last year in her wheelchair (Remember she was hospitalised the day after). She and her husband had feared Lucy would be next.....so they were over the moon genuinely to see her so well
They are all such strong kids yes Christine.
Anyway - some piccies for you all
That's me as Frenchie (I had intended to go in my PJs with rollers is as in the sleepover scene, but Lucy made me!) photobombed at the back by Tia and her bf and Lucy of course. Poor Charley was at work
This one is us before we went inside.
This one is Lucy and I earlier this week.
Those of you on facebook can probably see more

Toni it is so very sad that this awful disease can strike any one, but when they are young...you will feel all sorts of emotions..but I am sure you are a good friend to there parents... but guilt will never be far away...thats life I'm afraid..anyhow you will soon be off on your well earned hols..its good you are driving there, at least you wont be weighing bags..and can take what you want with you.
I love the pics.. so much better to celebrate there lives...but hard xxLove
