    I am not techy in any way at all but could she download the precious photos onto a computer then print them? That way should disaster strike she will have at the very least a paper record of those Very Important Young People who she will never forget. (I don't know how to do this :oops: )

    So, a job hey? Someone must be feeling better! I for one think this is a very good idea, it will give her the opportunity to resume the living of a more normal teenage life but, like you Frog, I also have some reservations. She is, however, an extraordinarily mature young woman and I am certain will make sensible choices.

    I wish you success with the holiday insurance search, it is a necessary expense and will give you great peace of mind; that is vital for so many reasons. ((( ))) xxx DD

    Thanks Toady :) We ended u going with the £391.?? annual insurance. The next nearest was £8-900 :shock: Barbara it's all done (on Paul's card not mine!!!)

    DD - we tried to upload piccies, but with iphones you have to do it through itunes :roll: Some of her 'aps' weren't being saved and contained some precious piccies.

    The Apple 'genius' in the shop has saved them all to 'the cloud' :roll:

    Hi Joan - we hope you and the doggies have a good weekend ahead.

    Lucy ate out yesterday with her two friends (next door and another - the ones who have come every week at least once :) ) and they walked halfway home before ringing for a lift. They did well :)

    Christine the B&B pudding was LOVELY :) She is a very good cook.

    Hi Frogmella - a wee part-time job would be perfect wouldn't it? Holiday is all booked and we are getting exited :)

    Lucy has several new cosies to cover up the dexamethasone stretch marks on her hips (grrr!!!) and 'playsuits' aplenty :wink:

    I have bought factor 50 sun-lotion so far and that's about it!!

    Oooh, a holiday all booked. Wonderful. The insurance does sound steep but better than £8-900. :shock: Sun cream is a start. Looks as if Lucy is way ahead of you. :lol:

    Yesterday we went to see 'Unfriended' at the pictures....Lucy shrieked!! After that every time someone was murdered she hid behind my head.

    Honestly...that would have been an 18 in my day not a 15!!!

    Bonjour. Lucy is doing well with her holiday shopping. Hope you are catching up with her. Just googled the film. Sounds interesting but must be a bit scary if Lucy screamed.

    Thank you Joan - not like last years' bank holidays!!

    I think Lucy and I were 'inside' for all of them :roll:

    Christine - Paul says we can shop this weekend so I really hope we catch up!!!

    Yesterday was chemo day and Lucy managed the needle and then the cannula no problem :):D

    Hypnotherapy certainly helped her!!

    Then along came a chap called Brian Lodell (google him if you have time) he had cancer himself at 20 and is busy writing a musical about the very subject.

    Lucy and I spent the afternoon with him including 'playing' the IV pumps (the alarms!!!) while the sound was recorded!!

    There are photos so watch this space!!

    The hypnotherapy has worked very well, hasn't it? Well done again Lucy. I've not heard of Brian Lodell but will go and have a look. A musical sounds like a great idea. Sounds as if you had an interesting musical afternoon. Look forward to the photos.

    Ah Joan! Hadn't seen you in the café so glad to see you here :)

    If the musical is in Brum we will definitely go to see it :)

    mig - I will remind Lucy to text me the photos over - I took them on her phone :roll:

    Christine the hypnotherapy was so effective yes. I think a huge part was Lucy's determination to beat the phobia. I am so proud of her :)

    She had her nails done yesterday and was planning, (though looking at the rain I'm not so sure....), to go stock-car racing with Paul tomorrow. Watching not participating :wink:

    Hospital Social Worker has been helping us apply for a 'wish' for Lucy. She only wants to meet Joey Essex!! :lol:

    I posted in here a couple of days ago... :o strange things are going on... :? anyhow glad to see Lucy is doing so well and yes it is all down to her that she got rid of the pick line..shopping for your holiday clothes...bet you feel like you are dreaming ..the holiday will do all of you good.. :D and I will look out for Brian Lodell sounds like another amazing person ...it always amazes me how an illness like cancer can open new doors...love to all of you xx

    The weather forecast is for sunny and fairly warm here tomorrow so fingers crossed you get the same or better so Lucy and Paul will get to the stock car racing. Hope Lucy gets her wish. I don't like the people in TOWIE but Joey seems nice.

    Yesterday was dreadful......all four seasons in one day.....it kept changing every 15 mins or so but today looks really good
    She is really coming on now isn't she? :wink:

    Every time we see someone we haven't seen for a week or more they can see the difference in her :)

    Christine - Joey is supposed to be a bit intellectually challenged, but she likes him. She used to have his calendar up on her pump stand hiding the chemo bags or blood products :)

    They are at the racing now so I am going to have a go at Lucy's bedroom :? help!!! :shock:
    Barbara you are right cancer or other biggies like it can indeed open doors. Lucy and I have had some amazing times and met some wonderful people who we would never have met otherwise.
