    Joan! I am so glad to see you - I was getting a bit worried :?

    They are good photos aren't they? Even if I do look rather odd :lol: Lucy looks really well :)

    Barbara - guilt yes you hit the nail on the head there and intense pain because I really looked it in the eye myself and it was unbearable, but they have to bear it don't they? :(

    Last push this week then thank goodness the break we desperately need yes :D

    You make a great Frenchie Toni. Love the pictures. What a shame Charley couldn't go. Work always gets in the way of things. I don't know how people cope when loved ones are so ill but they do. Very strong people. I'm getting excited for you for your holiday. You do need it and very much deserve it. xx

    Frog, lovely lovely pics (sniff) how fab you all look and I love Lucy's hair :D

    I keep finding I haven't got the date for your hols fixed yet so clearly I am not reading properly, will go look again. Hope the French is coming along nicely, did you have a halfway decent grip of it to begin with.. I passed an 'o' level somehow but not much of it really ever went in, there was a lot of learning setpieces such as trips to the Tour Eiffel & food etc (including a 'salade de tomates' that's stuck in my mind ever since, like things do. :lol:) I suppose some of the basic stuff is in there somewhere.

    Will pop in for updates on 'les vacances' :lol:

    Re BB, yes indeed, and didn't we suffer enough last year?!! :(

    Hello!!!!
    We are ok!
    Well Paul has two bad wasp strings but apart from that ;)
    It's hot -set to be 41 today
    Lucy is eating swimming and resting.
    Internet is diabolical team ting only a bit better!
    We went on euro tunnel. Did see queues of lorries and some people who were probably illegals but they looked lost :( and we were going the wrong way for them
    l am reading and eating resting.

    Phew! I don't do 41 degrees. In fact my muscles have all turned to water here at about 25, joints are moaning and I am very grumpy :mrgreen: (Mr SW will readily confirm this :wink: )

    I'm glad Calais went well and also that you all seem to be having a good time. Just keep on not doing things :wink:
