    Lucy send much love for the upcoming intrathecal Mig so do I. Oddly enough the MTX didn't make her queasy at all given into the spinal canal. It was just the thought of it.

    Thank you for the updates DD - that is such good news, 75% clearance is just wonderful to know, Mig will be building on the strength of the treatment working.

    A chinese sounded perfect. Some extra hugs and strength for the next stage of treatment. Lots of local and hopefully no reaction to the MTX intrathecal. XXXX t4591 t4591

    Morning all, I've heard from our girl and her spirits are a little low which I think they have a perfect right to be. I for one am not sending her any cheery messages of Californian hippy-style positivity or new-age ramblings, just hugs, cuppas (or anything else she fancies) and a fresh stock of copes. (Remember skezier and her copes? )

    it takes a great deal of energy to keep one's chin up so dropping it every now and again is not a bad thing. DD

    She has a big day tomorrow, it's her first intrathecal - this means a very large dose of methotrexate will be injected into her spine. I don't need to say any more. :( DD

    Morning all, I hope you are as well as can be expected. It's a landmark week for our girl, in addition to the usual picc line flush and bloods if the chemo goes ahead on Thursday it should be her last which would be wonderful. DD
